Abstract:
At present, the marketing and sales of UMKM products in Tembilahan are still done by manually or through broadcast messages and waiting for visitors to come to the store. This method is not optimal in delivering information because the promotion does not reach people who are far from the location of the store. Today's social media is a very popular tool and is in demand by UMKM players, one of which is Facebook in which there is a marketplace feature that can reach promotions and sales that do not know space and time. This study aims to find out and analyze the Facebook marketing communication strategy used by Gadisty Screen Printing Tembilahan includes planning and the results of its implementation in increasing sales in each branch. The method used is observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Research was carried out in Tembilahan, data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman models. The results showed Facebook accommodated the components that existed in marketing communication strategies such as providing consumer data to validate segmentation, targeting, and positioning as well as research material in determining the production of Facebook marketing content. Marketing strategies are executed on Facebook FanPage, Personal and Group accounts. The three main components of Facebook marketing running marketing mixes such as advertising, sales promotions, private sales, direct marketing, public relations and publicity. Popular marketing content on Facebook is the characteristics of Cover / Soft Selling and Video..
 
 
 Saat ini pemasaran dan penjualan hasil produk UMKM di tembilahan masih dilakukan dengan cara manual atau melalui broadcast pesan dan menunggu pengunjung datang ke toko. Metode ini belum optimal dalam penyampaian informasi karena promosi yang dilakukan tidak menjangkau masyarakat yang berada jauh dari lokasi toko. Media sosial saat ini menjadi alat yang sangat populer dan diminati oleh pelaku UMKM salah satunya adalah facebook yang di dalamnya terdapat fitur marketplace yang dapat menjangkau promosi dan penjualan yang tidak mengenal ruang dan waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi komunikasi pemasaran facebook yang digunakan oleh Gadisty Sablon Tembilahan meliputi perencanaan dan hasil pelaksanaannya dalam meningkatkan penjualan di setiap cabang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di tembilahan, Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan facebook mengakomodasi komponen yang ada pada strategi komunikasi pemasaran seperti menyediakan data-data konsumen untuk memvalidasi segmentasi, targeting, dan positioning sekaligus menjadi bahan riset dalam menentukan produksi konten facebook marketing. Strategi marketing di eksekusi pada akun facebook fanpage, personal dan grup. Tiga komponen utama facebook marketing tersebut menjalankan bauran pemasaran seperti periklanan, promosi penjualan, penjualan secara pribadi, pemasaran langsung, hubungan masyarakat dan publisitas. Konten marketing populer pada facebook ialah dengan ciri cover/soft selling dan video.

The IEEE 802.15.4 standard defines the PHY and MAC layer specifications for Low-Rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (LR-WPANs). With the proliferation of many time-critical applications with real-time delivery, low latency, and/or specific bandwidth requirements, Guaranteed Time Slots (GTS) are increasingly being used for reliable contention-free data transmission by nodes within beacon-enabled WPANs. To evaluate the performance of the 802.15.4 GTS management scheme, this paper introduces a new GTS simulation model for OMNeT++ / MiXiM. Our GTS model considers star-topology WPANs within the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and is in full conformance with the IEEE 802.15.4 – 2006 standard. To enable thorough investigation of the behaviors and impacts of different attacks against the 802.15.4 GTS mechanism, a new GTS attacks simulation model for OMNeT++ is also introduced in this paper. Our GTS attacks model is developed for OMNeT++ / NETA, and is integrated with our GTS model to provide a single inclusive OMNeT++ simulation model for both the GTS mechanism and all known-to-date attacks against it.

ABSTRACT
 Marketing requires more than just developing a good product, set an attractive price, offering an affordable prices, but also need to promote the product itself. The success of a marketing program also determined by promotion mix. This research aimed to analyzed the influence of promotion mix cost simultaneously, partially and the most dominantly variable toward the sales turnover of agribusiness company in Denpasar. The research method was used descriptive statistics. Through descriptive statistical analysis will be described and described characteristic table of respondents, while the influence of promotion mix cost to sales turnover using multiple linear regression analysed using the help of SPSS program version 22.0. Based on multiple linear analysis, the results of research showed promotion mix variables give simultaneous positive and significant effect toward the sales turnover p ? 0.05 with determination coefficient 0.575 or 57.5 %. Partially, all of five variables promotional mix showed that the cost of advertising, cost of personal selling, cost of sales promotion and cost of direct marketing give significant affect, while the variable cost of public relations showed insignificant results. The most dominant variable affecting the sales turnover is the cost of sales promotion with standardized beta coefficient point to 0.463. Suggestions that can be given by the author to agribusiness entrepreneurs in Denpasar in order to implement promotional mix cost policies that are appropriate in the future to be in accordance with the capabilities and budget owned by the company. The combination of the five components of the promotional mix costs is still carried out, but must pay attention and consider allocating funds efficiently into the promotional mix costs so that the company does not experience losses.

Rice is the main food for the population of Indonesia. Many types of rice products have been marketed. The more diverse rice products are, the more promotion is needed to inform the advantages of a rice product compared to others. PT. Nazar Bahana Persada is one of the companies that produce rice products, but still uses traditional methods of marketing their products. PT. Nazar Bahama Persada must be able to improve the promotion strategy carried out so that it will increase its sales turnover. The method used in this study is a descriptive method that will provide an overview of the implementation of the promotion mix on rice products. The data used are primary data through observation and interviews and secondary data in the form of virgin obtained from the company. The promotion mix implemented by PT Nazar Bahana Persada is personal selling, direct marketing, advertising and also implementing CRS. The promotional impact applied by the company to the sale of rice products in 2017 increased by 44.75%, while the sales turnover increased by 50.41%.

This research uses qualitative approaches to collect data by interviewing some related interviewees.. According to research result, the growth of gojek application influences to increasing of gofood partner’s omzet.. So, this condition gives impact to increasing of personal income tax potenty. The personal income tax potenty consists of three aspect, such as income aspect, operation expense aspect, and sharing profit aspect. Directorate General of Taxation should designs a rules that manages taxation of gofood partner’s business process. This strategy is expected to increase tax revenue and contributes to development of this country in the future.

Since the pandemic outbreak hit Indonesia, the most visible impact is the economic crisis. One of those affected was that UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) both in the service and production sectors experienced a significant decline in turnover, one of which is Hello Cafe. Hello Cafe will adapt to new circumstances, where business premises can reopen by complying with existing health protocols. Hello Cafe must be able to carry out proper marketing communications so that customers can come back to visit to improve their turnover and losses. The purpose of this research is to find, understand, and describe what marketing communications will be used appropriately at Hello Cafe to adapt to the covid-19 pandemic. Researchers chose to use a qualitative approach because they will conduct research and analysis on the phenomenon of marketing communication at Hello Cafe during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusion of this study is that effective marketing communication in adapting during the Covid-19 pandemic is personal selling to invite old customers to come back to Hello Cafe and word of mouth because most visitors come from recommendations from old customers who have visited.Sejak wabah pandemi melanda Indonesia, dampak yang sangat terlihat adalah krisisnya perekonomian. Salah satu yang terkena dampaknya adalah UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) baik dalam bidang jasa maupun produksi megalami penurunan omzet yang siginifikan, salah satunya adalah Hello Cafe. Hello Cafe akan beradaptasi dengan keadaan yang baru, dimana tempat usaha bisa kembali buka dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ada. Hello Cafe harus bisa melakukan komunikasi pemasaran yang tepat agar pelanggan dapat kembali berkunjung untuk memperbaiki omzet dan kerugian yang dialami. Tujuan penilitian ini adalah untuk menemukan, memahami, serta mendeskripsikan tentang komunikasi pemasaran apa yang akan digunakan secara tepat pada Hello Cafe untuk beradaptasi di masa pandemi covid-19. Peneliti memilih menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena akan melakukan riset dan analisis terhadap fenomena komunikasi pemasaran pada Hello Cafe dalam masa pandemi covid-19. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa komunikasi pemasaran yang efektif dalam beradaptasi di masa pandemi covid-19 adalah personal selling untuk mengajak pelanggan lama kembali berkunjung ke Hello Cafe dan word of mouth karena kebanyakan pengunjung berdatangan dari rekomendasi pelanggan lama yang sudah berkunjung.

Abstract:
The paper proposes a Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) model for enhancing port workers’ safety with reference to the Port of Bar (Montenegro) as a developing seaport operating in a transitional environment. The paper also highlights the lack of appropriate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions in some developing seaports, including safety-related ones. It emphasizes the importance of safety measures through the prism of reducing the number of accidents, and gives a review of some RFID safety solutions in the harsh environments. The main part of the paper deals with the RFID worker’s safety model proposed according to the Port of Bar’s individual needs. The model has been presented at a logic level, while some of the physical and link layers performances between the set of an active and several passive RFID devices embedded to the port workers’ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID readers located at the port perimeter, are simulated in Matlab and OMNeT++. The obtained results followed by discussions can be used as landmarks to the ports’ management in adapting this or a similar model for enhancing safety measures in the port and its promoting as a safety one at the maritime market.

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha kuliner kantin Universitas Sahid Jakarta melalui sistem pemasaran online. Mitra merupakan para pelaku usaha kuliner di kantin Universitas Sahid Jakarta. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah masih rendahnya kapasitas usaha terhadap produk dijual. Hal yang menjadi penyebab adalah sistem pemasaran produk yang masih bersifat konvensional. Masalah lain yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah mengenai sanitasi dan higienitas dari produk makanan yang belum memperhatikan aspek sanitasi lingkungan serta higiene personal. Selain itu, pemilihan kemasan untuk makanan yang dibawa pulang juga masih kurang tepat, kurang menarik, dan menyimpang dari aspek keamanan pangan. Solusi yang ditawarkan oleh pengusul kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan higiene dan sanitasi usaha jasa boga, pendampingan dalam memilih kemasan dan label untuk penjualan online, pendampingan promosi produk secara online, dan pendampingan dalam mendaftarkan produk dalam aplikasi online. Solusi yang ditawarkan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kapasitas usaha jasa boga, sehingga dapat meningkatkan omset dari mitra. Saat ini menu yang dijual di Kantin Universitas Sahid Jakarta telah terdaftar di GrabFood, dengan akun bernama KANISA Kafetaria. Selain itu KANISA Kafetaria juga telah memiliki akun media sosial Instagram sehingga memudahkan untuk melalukan promosi secara online. Kendala yang dihadapi saat ini adalah hasil penjualan belum meningkat secara signifikan sehingga untuk tahap berikutnya masih dibutuhkan pendampingan untuk promosi produk.

Abstract:
This dissertation attempts to understand the causes and levels of work stress and burnout in a department of the South African Public Service, by using three quantitative questionnaires, namely the ‘Work Experience Life Questionnaire’, ‘Maslach Burnout's Questionnaire’, and a ‘Biographical Questionnaire’. A qualitative questionnaire was administered to illicit in-depth responses in relation to the quantitative aspects of the study. The sample constituted of 341 senior officials whose positions ranged from Assistant Director to the Director-General. 231 quantitative questionnaires were completed, pointing to an acceptable response rate of 67.7%, which accounts for more than two thirds of the total study population. Qualitative questionnaires were emailed to 20 individuals, resulting in a returned response rate of 50%. A cross-sectional approach was adopted. The literature review was followed by an empirical investigation. The quantitativequalitative research approach, with a focus on Creswell's dominant-less-dominant model was used, where the quantitative phases were the dominant approach. A non-experimental approach was followed in the form of a cross-sectional study to examine the relationship between job stress and burnout in a specific time of study, by using the experience of Work and Life Circumstances Questionnaire (WLQ) and Maslach's Burnout (MBI-General Survey). In order to address the gaps with regards to the above-mentioned two questionnaires, a qualitative investigation was also conducted, where semi-structured questionnaires were sent to a number of officials. The qualitative survey was carried out to give an in-depth meaning to the quantitative data. It also extensively addressed the issues of organizational politics.<br>Hierdie verhandeling se hoof fokus is om die vlakke en oorsake van bestuurder stres en –uitbranding in ʼn departement van die Suid-Afrikaanse staatsdiens te ondersoek, deur gebruik te maak van 3 kwantitatiewe vraelyste (Ervaring van Werk en Lewens vraelys, Maslach se Uitbrandings vraelys, en ʼn biografiese vraelys), sowel as ʼn kwalitatiewe navorsings gedeelte. Vanuit ʼn populasie van 341 senior amptenare in poste vanaf assistentdirekteur tot Direkteur-generaal het 231 die vraelyste voltooi (67.7%). ʼn Kruis-seksionele benadering is toegepas. Hierdie studie voorsien ʼn in-diepte, en uitgebreide teoretiese perspektief en bespreking oor stres, werk stres, en werk uitbranding in die staatsdiens. In hoofstuk drie is ʼn in-diepte uiteensetting gegee oor die rol wat organisasie politiek in die werk organisasie speel. Meer spesifiek dui die literatuur oorsig aan dat daar ʼn sterk verhouding tussen organisasie politiek, werk stres en –uitbranding bestaan. ʼn Belangrike tekortkoming in hierdie oorsig is dat daar nie baie literatuur oor die onderwerp beskikbaar is nie en dat van die bronne ook baie verouderd is. Die literatuur studies, internasionaal en plaaslik, in hoofstuk vier, dui aan dat hoë vlakke van stres lei tot gesondheidsprobleme, wat dan ook kan lei tot hoë vlakke van personeelomset en –uitbranding in vroulike en manlike werknemers. Die literatuurstudie is opgevolg deur ʼn empiriese ondersoek. Die kwantitatiefkwalitatiewe navorsing benaderings, met ʼn fokus op Creswell se dominant-less-dominant model, waar die kwantitatiewe fases as oorheersende benadering gebruik is. ʼn Nieeksperimentele benadering is gevolg in die vorm van ʼn kruis-seksionele studie om die verhouding tussen werk stres en -uitbranding op een spesifieke tyd te bestudeer deur gebruik te maak van die ervaring van Werk- en Lewensomstandighede vraelys (WLV) en Maslach se Uitbrandings vraelys (MBI- Algemene Opname). Om die behoeftes van die twee vraelyste aan te spreek is ʼn kwalitatiewe ondersoek uitgevoer waar semi-gestruktureerde vraelyste aan ʼn aantal amptenare gestuur is. Die kwalitatiewe opname is uitgevoer om ʼn in-diepte betekenis aan die kwantitatiewe data te gee. Wireless Sensor Networks are the main representative of pervasive computing in large-scale physical environments. These networks consist of a large number of small, wireless devices embedded in the physical world to be used for surveillance, environmental monitoring or other data capture, processing and transfer applications. Ultra wideband has emerged as one of the newest and most promising concepts for wireless technology. Considering all its advantages it seems a likely communication technology candidate for future wireless sensor networks. This paper considers the viability of ultra wideband technology in wireless sensor networks by employing an IEEE 802.15.4a low-rate ultra wideband physical layer model in the OMNET++ simulation environment. An elaborate investigation into the inner workings of the IEEE 802.15.4a UWB physical layer is performed. Simulation experiments are used to provide a detailed analysis of the performance of the IEEE 802.15.4a UWB physical layer over several communication distances. A proposal for a cognitive, adaptive communication approach to optimize for speed and distance is also presented. AFRIKAANS : Draadlose Sensor Netwerke is die hoof verteenwoordiger vir deurdringende rekenarisering in groot skaal fisiese omgewings. Hierdie tipe netwerke bestaan uit ’n groot aantal klein, draadlose apparate wat in die fisiese wêreld ingesluit word vir die doel van bewaking, omgewings monitering en vele ander data opvang, verwerk en oordrag applikasies. Ultra wyeband het opgestaan as een van die nuutste en mees belowend konsepte vir draadlose kommunikasie tegnologie. As al die voordele van dié kommunikasie tegnologie in ag geneem word, blyk dit om ’n baie goeie kandidaat te wees vir gebruik in toekomstige draadlose sensor netwerke. Hierdie verhandeling oorweeg die vatbaarheid van die gebruik van die ultra wyeband tegnologie in draadlose sensor netwerke deur ’n IEEE 802.15.4a lae-tempo ultra wyeband fisiese laag model in die OMNET++ simulasie omgewing toe te pas. ’n Breedvoerige ondersoek word geloots om die fyn binneste werking van die IEEE 802.15.4a UWB fisiese laag te verstaan.
