This thesis objectively assess the economic viability of the newly established startup that aims to become the leading expert on the domestic market in the field of consulting cryptocurrency issues. The aim of this work is to build a business plan, which also includes marketing research, together with the financial plan. An introductory part contains of theoretical framework of the cryptocurrency issues with an analysis of the economic impact on the Czech market. Abstract:
The aim of this master´s thesis is to prepare a business plan of a new cafe. On the basis of results of the business plan it will be decided whether the project is viable and the investment is profitable. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of an explanation of basic concepts associated with entrepreneurship, an explanation of steps leading to set up new business and a characteristic of key parts of the business plan. In the practical part various analytical methods are undertaken, for example, PESTEL analysis, Porter's five forces analysis, competitor analysis and customer analysis. The financial plan includes, among others, calculation of financial ratios or investment evaluation techniques. The information acquired from the all parts of the business plan is summarized in the SWOT analysis.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is a strategic analysis of a construction company. It is divided into several parts, where the first, theoretical, part explains the fundaments of strategic analysis and clarifies the principles of methods applied. The other, analytical, part of the thesis applies the mentioned theoretical knowledge onto an existing construction company. The PESTEL analysis has been used to analyze the external environment. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the internal environment of the company -- namely its marketing mix and financial situation. The findings of those analyses are summarized through a simplified SWOT analysis, which leads to a proposal of a strategy, and furthermore proposes operative, tactical and strategic measures which would support the strengths and opportunities and minimize the weaknesses and threats of the Isolite, spol. s r. o. company.

The diploma thesis analyzes the company according to selected economic methods. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the individual methods are explained. Especially the PESTEL method, Porter's Five Forces Analysis, McKinsey 7S model and Kralicek Quick Test. In the practical part, these methods are applied for the analysis of company status. The results were used to compile the SWOT analysis. Based on the resulting strategy, suggestions are made to improve the company's current situation.

The aim of this Master thesis is to analyze investment environment of the Russian Federation by focusing on foreign direct investment in the selected countries of BRICS cluster. First chapter is dedicated to the theoretical definition of the investment climate, observation methods such as PESTEL and SWOT analysis, indexes of the multinational organisation (Global Competitivness Index, Ease of Doing Business a Index of Economic Freedom). This chapter also defines investment incentives and foreign direct investment together with typology of this two terms. Second chapter focuses on the Russian investment policy especially on legislative and administrative investment regulation. Last part of this chapter focuses on development of special economic zones, which parcipate in alocation of the foreign direct investment in Russia the most. At the end of this thesis there are strenghts and weaknesses of the russian investment environment together with opportunities and threats described.

The diploma thesis "Financial analysis of Tesco and Carrefour" is mainly devoted to understand the economic and financial changes in retail business industry. The main idea is to compare two companies -- Tesco and Carrefour. Comparison consist of deep analysis of changing behaviour over the years of both companies together with analysis of economic data from annual reports which are published every year. It is very important to understand these information, because nowadays is retail industry highly dependent on the global economic changes. Most of the data is analysed over past three years, because recent economic stability is immoderately fluctuating and it could show high distortions of calculations. We will be able to answer which company is in better economic and financial position and which company is better to invest. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. From the first part is possible to understand the philosophy and conditions of the analysis. It contains explanation of analysis tools like PESTE analysis, SWOT analysis and explanation of financial calculations. All of these data are used in the second part of the analysis -- practical part -- where they are applied on two companies -- Carrefour and Tesco. It consist of revue of analysed companies to better understand their position globally, continued with practical analysis where tools as profitability, liquidity, performance and financial and economic behavior tools were used. Thesis is finished with comparison of horizontal and vertical analysis, where data from annual reports were measured. All of these data are summarized and valuated, to see the actual results of the thesis.

Abstract:
The exigent need to address climate change and its adverse effects is felt all around the world. As pioneers in tackling carbon emissions, the European Union continue to be head and shoulders above other continents by implementing policies and keeping a tab on its carbon dependence and emissions. However, being one of the largest importers of Natural Gas in the world, the EU remains dependent on a fossil fuel to meet its demands.  The aim of the research is to investigate the barriers and constraints in the EU policies and framework that affects the natural gas decarbonization and to investigate the levelized cost of hydrogen production (LCOH) that would be used to decarbonize the natural gas sector. Thus a comprehensive study, based on existing academic and scientific literature, EU policies, framework and regulations pertinent to Natural gas and a techno economic analysis of possible substitution of natural gas with Hydrogen, is performed. The motivation behind choosing hydrogen is based on various research studies that indicate the importance and ability to replace to natural gas. In addition, Portugal provides a great environment for cheap green hydrogen production and thus chosen as the main region of evaluation.  The study evaluates the current framework based on a SWOT ((Strength, Weakness, and Opportunities &amp; Weakness) analysis, which includes a PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental &amp; Legal) macroeconomic factor assessment and an expert elicitation. The levelized cost of hydrogen is calculated for blue (SMR - Steam Methane Reforming with natural gas as the feedstock) and green hydrogen (Electrolyzer with electricity from grid, solar and wind sources). The costs were specific to Portuguese conditions and for the years 2020, 2030 and 2050 based on availability of data and the alignment with the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) and the climate action framework 2050. The sizes of Electrolyzers are based on the current Market capacities while SMR is capped at 300MW. The thesis only considers production of hydrogen. Transmission, distribution and storage of hydrogen are beyond the scope of the analysis.  Results show that the barriers are mainly related to costs competitiveness, amendments in rules/regulations, provisions of incentives, and constraints in the creation of market demand for low carbon gases. Ensuring energy security and supply while being economically feasible demands immediate amendments to the regulations and policies such as incentivizing supply, creating a demand for low carbon gases and taxation on carbon.  Considering the LCOH, the cheapest production costs continue to be dominated by blue hydrogen (1.33 € per kg of H2) in comparison to green hydrogen (4.27 and 3.68 € per kg of H2) from grid electricity and solar power respectively. The sensitivity analysis shows the importance of investments costs and the efficiency in case of electrolyzers and the carbon tax in the case of SMR. With improvements in electrolyzer technologies and increased carbon tax, the uptake of green hydrogen would be easier, ensuring a fair yet competitive gas market.<br>Det starka behovet av att ta itu med klimatförändringarna och deras negativa effekter är omfattande världen över. Den europeiska unionen utgör en pionjär när det gäller att såväl hantera sina koldioxidberoende och utsläpp som att implementera reglerande miljöpolitik, och framstår därmed som överlägsen andra stater och organisationer i detta hänseende. Unionen är emellertid fortfarande mycket beroende av fossilt bränsle för att uppfylla sina energibehov, och kvarstår därför som en av världens största importörer av naturgas.  Syftet med denna forskningsavhandling är att undersöka befintliga hinder och restriktioner i EU: s politiska ramverk som medför konsekvenser avkolningen av naturgas, samt att undersöka de utjämnande kostnaderna för väteproduktion (LCOH) som kan användas för att avkolna naturgassektorn. Därmed utförs en omfattande studie baserad på befintlig akademisk och vetenskaplig litteratur, EU: s politiska ramverk och stadgar som är relevanta för naturgasindustrin. Dessutom genomförs en teknisk-ekonomisk analys av eventuella ersättningar av naturgas med väte. Valet av väte som forskningsobjekt motiveras olika forskningsstudier som indikerar vikten och förmågan att ersätta till naturgas. Till sist berör studien Portugal. som tillhandahåller en lämplig miljö för billig och grön vätgasproduktion. Av denna anledning är Portugal utvalt som den viktigaste utvärderingsregionen.  Studien utvärderar det nuvarande ramverket baserat på en SWOT-analys ((Strength, Weakness, and Opportunities &amp; Weakness), som inkluderar en PESTEL (Political, Economical, Social, Technological, Environmental och Legal) makroekonomisk faktoranalys och elicitering. Den utjömnade vätekostnaden beräknades i blått (SMR - Ångmetanreformering med naturgas som råvara) och grönt väte (elektrolyser med el från elnät, sol och vindkällor). Kostnaderna var specifika för de portugisiska förhållandena under åren 2020, 2030 och 2050 baserat på tillgänglighet av data samt anpassningen till den nationella energi- och klimatplanen (NECP) och klimatåtgärdsramen 2050. Storleken på elektrolyserar baseras på den nuvarande marknadskapaciteten medan SMR är begränsad till 300 MW. Avhandlingen tar endast hänsyn till produktionen av vätgas. Transmission, distribution och lagring av väte ligger utanför analysens räckvidd.  Resultaten visar att hindren är främst relaterade till kostnadskonkurrens, förändringar i stadgar och bestämmelser, incitament och begränsningar i formerandet av efterfrågan på koldioxidsnåla gaser på marknaden. Att säkerställa energiförsörjning och tillgång på ett ekonomiskt hållbart sätt kräver omedelbara ändringar av reglerna och politiken, såsom att stimulera utbudet, att skapa en efterfrågan på koldioxidsnåla gaser och genom att beskatta kol.  När det gäller LCOH dominerar blåväte beträffande produktionskostnaderna (1,33 € per kg H2) jämfört med grönt väte (4,27 respektive 3,68 € per kg H2) från elnät respektive solenergi. Osäkerhetsanalysen visar vikten av investeringskostnader och effektiviteten vid elektrolysörer och koldioxidskatten för SMR. Med förbättringar av elektrolys-tekniken och ökad koldioxidskatt skulle upptagningen av grön vätgas vara enklare och säkerställa en rättvis men konkurrenskraftig gasmarknad.

The thesis deals with the elements of strategy of market entrance to Vienna. The aim was to determine whether a Czech company pietro filipi has a chance to succeed in such a saturated market and if yes, under what circumstances. The work is divided into five chapters, where the general theory is included concerning the access to foreign markets, followed by the application of theoretical knowledge directly to the practice and it is immediately applied to a concrete example. In this work we come up with two conclusions. One is that pietro filipi should not entry the market of Vienna because of the lack of financial resources and should invest in running business in countries of Eastern and Central Europe, or if it had unlimited financial resources, pietro filipi would be able to invest in opening a store in Vienna. Although we emphasize that this could be the risk anyway. pietro filipi should consider its options and make a decision if it wants to take such a risk of entering the market of Vienna or stay in a less risky environment of Eastern and Central Europe.

У другому розділі «Методичні засади аналізу та оцінювання виробничого потенціалу підприємства» проаналізовано основні фактори впливу на виробничий потенціал підприємства. Також розглянуто методи оцінки виробничого потенціалу, запропоновані вітчизняними та зарубіжними науковцями. У третьому розділі «Оцінювання виробничого потенціалу підприємства ПАТ «Сумський завод насосного та енергетичного машинобудування «Насосенергомаш» проведено аналіз машинобудівної галузі України, дана характеристика діяльності підприємства, проведенно оцінку впливу макро та мікросередовища на діяльність підприємства, проведено оцінку його виробничого потенціалу, здійснений прогноз величини виробничого потенціалу на 3 роки та наведені основні шляхи поліпшення його використання.

This master thesis deals with strategic analysis of Motol University Hospital, which belongs to the largest hospital complex in Central and Eastern Europe providing complex treatment of whole human body at any age (from prenatal to advanced age). The aim of the thesis is a description of hospital management and assessment of the possibility of using the Balanced Scorecard in health care. The theoretical part contains a basic description of strategy creation, selected methods for analysing internal and external environment and a general description of the Balanced Scorecard. The practical part comprises of an executed strategic analysis of Motol University Hospital, and assessment of hospital´s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis). This thesis also contains a survey of scientific literature concerning the usage of the Balanced Scorecard in health care, specifically in hospitals. A result of this survey helps to assess the feasibility of introducing the Balanced Scorecard in Czech hospitals (those in state ownership). This thesis also includes a proposal of strategic perspectives for Motol University Hospital and an evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of implementation into hospital management. A strategy map displays relationships among proposed goals.

The aim of the diploma thesis is strategická analýza Psychiatrické léčebny Jihlava, p. o. The hospital is a state-funded organization based in Jihlava and it is established by the Ministry of Health. Catchment areas are now the former district of Jindřichův Hradec, Pelhřimov, Třebíč, Ždár nad Sázavou and Tábor. In the region of Vysočina the hospital occupies a dominant position on the market, as it provides comprehensive psychiatric and diagnostic services, while other psychiatric facilities in the region focus only on selected psychiatric-diagnostic services. The strengths of the psychiatric hospital in Jihlava are considered the long-term influence in psychiatric-diagnostic sector, the high level and the wide range of services. The organization continues to provide quality services in connection with people's mental health and to maintain the strong market position. Finally, the work includes recommendations for improving services and the draft strategy, which would be in the hospital a long-term move.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a complex analysis of risk management in engineering company EST Stage Technology a.s. In the first part of the thesis, the research study focused on the risk management from the economic and technical point of view was conducted. The next chapter deals with case study including the description of mentioned company, considering the history, business sector and selected economic indicators. In this part, PESTLE and SWOT analysis is also performed. Further part provides the analysis of profitability, liquidity, activity and debt indicators. The following chapter describes the process of industrial contract solution. The last part of the diploma thesis deals with the failure mode, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA). The detailed analysis of failures, which can arise in various phases of contract solution, is provided. The causes and consequences of that failures are also mentioned, while the measures lowering the risk of particular failure to acceptable level are suggested.

The goal of the graduation thesis is an attempt to extend to all the persons interested in entrepreneurship in Mexico current information concerning this issue. Preamble of the work constitutes a brief characteristics of the country including a short historical review. A fundamental chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the business ambient follows. Its specificity have been analysed on the basis of two different methods - PEST method and SWOT method. Further, there are surveyed promising sectors of the Mexican economy in light of investment and foreign trade and all that with respect to the opportunities for the Czech business corporations. The goal of the thesis is to provide an economic analysis of Klubíčko Beroun, o.p.s. To be successful, a nongovernmental organizations have to plan with a good strategy and analyze both outer and inner environments. The NGOs receive finances mostly from donors and have to be responsible for using them efficiently. Therefore, NGOs should not undervalue the economic aspect of their activities and should pay attention to the financial indicators. In my work, I focus on the analysis of the strategy and on the financial analysis. The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical-methodological part, and the analytical part. In the first part, the basic theoretical apparatus is introduced, and it is consequently used in the second part. The results of the analysis of the strategy and the financial analysis serve as a basis for the SWOT analysis and for the formulation of the strategy for Klubíčko Beroun, o.p.s.
