The physicochemical characteristics of the soil beneath and adjacent to corroded petrol tanks were examined. The result revealed that the moisture content of the soil beneath the tanks was higher (3.2%) than the adjacent soil (0.4%). There was no significant difference in the temperature of the soil beneath and the adjacent one. The pH of the soil beneath the tanks was acidic (5.9). The organic matter of the adjacent soil was higher (1.8%) than the soil beneath the tanks. Nitrate and sulphate contents of the adjacent soil were higher (1.36 and 153.5mg/kg) than soil beneath the tanks which was

As the number of vehicle owners grows continually, the challenge of searching for petrol availability increases, as not all petrol stations may have petrol available at all times. This is owed to the fact that petrol as a commodity remains relatively scarce. Therefore, this project aims to provide a platform for reporting in real-time petrol availability in Nsukka town. Hence, vehicle owners and public transporters need not waste more petrol and time searching for filling stations with petrol availability. AbstractNumerous tasks in program analysis and synthesis reduce to deciding reachability in possibly infinite graphs such as those induced by Petri nets. However, the Petri net reachability problem has recently been shown to require non-elementary time, which raises questions about the practical applicability of Petri nets as target models. In this paper, we introduce a novel approach for efficiently semi-deciding the reachability problem for Petri nets in practice. Our key insight is that computationally lightweight over-approximations of Petri nets can be used as distance oracles in classica

Almost fourty-five years ago, Joseph Kerman proposed the notion of getting out of analysis, in fact a strategy through criticism to broaden its formalist parameters (Kerman, 1980). Kerman’s argument was flawed in many respects as Agawu pointed out; analysis was necessary in his view to teach “undergraduate music theory” and “basic musical literacy,” (Agawu, 2004: 269) something Kerman would not have denied. Yet these debates, and their continuation (Horton 2020; Cavett et al. 2023) have missed something more fundamental, especially as ideological ivory towers and territories needed protection.

These are used for storing and distributing potable water, petrol, diesel and H.F.O. About 70 numbers of Large Above Ground Storage Tanks (AST) are used for the storage of Heavy Fuel Oil and water. Abstract Petrol vapor emissions are the main source of pollution for both standard and hybrid vehicles. They are mainly generated by gasoline evaporation from the fuel tank of both running and parked vehicles; it is mostly driven by fuel temperature variation due to daily temperature changes (if parked) and heat from engine (if running). To prevent its dispersion in the environment, the vapor generated in the fuel tank is usually stored in a carbon canister filter that must be periodically “purged” in order to prevent its saturation, by venting it to the intake manifold.
