Psychoda cultella sp. n. is described. The new species is characterized by 16-segmented antennae with the three apicalflagellomeres globular, very short and partially fused; labellum with five terminal digital projections; aedeagus ca 1.7times the length of gonostylus; distiphallus bipartite, composed of a ventral phallomere with a roundish blunt tip and adorsal phallomere with pointed tip; basiphallus in lateral view sub-basally widened. The new species is known from Fin-land (29 localities) and Norway (6 localities), ranging from the southern boreal ecoregion to the subalpine zone. Psychodac

Abstract:
We describe a new genus and species of Chilean Blattodea (Ectobiidae), collected on Isla Grande de Chiloé and associated with Fascicularia bicolor (Bromeliaceae). We study the morphology of both sexes with SEM. The new taxon is brachypterous, with tiny ellipsoid tegmina and hind wings absent. The female presents strongly sclerotized genital sclerites and spermathecal plate developed. The male without tergal specializationsand asymmetrical styles. Medium phallomere with modified sclerites, compose a sclerotized complex that includes a long ejaculatory duct.

A new genus and species of brachypterous cockroach, Decoralampra fulgencioi gen. et sp. nov. is described from the Philippines. On the basis of the abbreviated tegmina and bristles of the folded structure of left phallomere, it is hypothesized to be close to the genus Cyrtonotula Uravov 1939 and Howintoniella Roth 1981. Also a new species, C. maquilingensis sp. nov. is described. This is the fourth species of the genus and the first to be recorded in the Philippines.

The Bornean Oxypilinae species previously included in the genus Hestiasula Saussure, 1871 are revised. External morphology and genital characters of Sundaian taxa differ considerably from the Indian type species H. brunneriana Saussure, 1871, necessitating taxonomic and nomenclatural changes. The genus Catestiasula Giglio-Tos, 1915 is reinstated. It is characterized by the apomorphic partial fusion of the dorsal and ventral laminae of the left phallomere, and by the complete reduction of the apical process. It is represented on Borneo with two species, C. nitida (Brunner de Wattenwyl, 1893) an

The beetle cockroach, or genus Diploptera Saussure, has been reviewed recently, with unresolved issues remaining. New materials facilitated a molecular phylogenetic study and further comparisons of male and female genitalia among known species. We performed phylogenetic estimates based on two mitochondrial DNA fragments: 657 bases of COI gene and 376 bases of 16S rRNA gene. We used codon model and doublet model (secondary structure) for COI and 16S respectively, and the predicted secondary structure of sequenced 16S fragment is illustrated. The function of insect external genitalia has played a significant role in exploring insect mating mechanisms and male fertilization strategies. However, due to the privacy of genital coupling, insect copulatory mechanisms have only been investigated in a few insect groups. In this study, we observed the mating behavior using freeze-fixated pairs in copula to reveal the copulatory mechanism of the longhorn beetle Moechotypa diphysis (Pascoe, 1871). At the beginning stage of mating, the male M. diphysis usually takes 30 min to control the female and then extends its median lobe and endophallus.

The LOOK is an iOS based iPad app designed to measure viewing time as an estimate of sexual interest. Participants used a 7-point Likert scale to rate 154 images based on sexual attractiveness. The images belonged to 14 differentiated gender and age categories from infants to elderly adults. Before rating each image participants were asked to complete an additional task of locating and touching a small dot found in one of the four corners of the screen. This chapter focuses on the laboratory measurement of penile response in the assessment of sexual arousal. Changes in penile tumescence, as measured by penile plethysmography (PPG), is a widely recognized means of measuring male sexual arousal in response to the presentation of various stimuli. Although not part of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) or International Classification of Diseases (ICD) criteria for any paraphilias, PPG is widely considered by researchers and clinicians to be an important contributor in the assessment and treatment of males with parap
