[ES] La digitalización de los procesos de RRHH en soluciones basadas en la nube progresa continuamente. Esta tesis examina tales transformaciones, deriva un modelo de proceso concreto e identifica los factores críticos de éxito.
La metodología utilizada para la investigación es de carácter cualitativo. Como base y medida preparatoria para abordar las cuestiones de investigación, se llevó a cabo un amplio estudio bibliográfico en el ámbito de los recursos humanos, con especial atención a las publicaciones sobre la gestión electrónica de los recursos humanos (en adelante, "e-HRM"). Basándose en este conocimiento y en la combinación de una amplia experiencia práctica con proyectos de transformación de RRHH, se publicó un estudio que presenta el desarrollo histórico de e-HRM y que ha derivado en un modelo de procesos optimizado que tiene en cuenta los requisitos técnicos de RRHH así como las limitaciones de la nueva tecnología de la nube. Posteriormente, se entrevistó a varios expertos en RRHH que ya habían adquirido experiencia de primera mano con los procesos de RRHH en un entorno de nube para averiguar qué factores de éxito eran relevantes para dicha transformación de RRHH.
Las principales conclusiones de esta tesis son la derivación de un modelo de procedimiento de proyecto de mejores prácticas para la transformación de los procesos de RRHH en una solución basada en la nube y la identificación de obstáculos potenciales en la implementación de dichos proyectos. Además, se elaboran los motivos de dicha transformación, los factores que impulsan el proceso dentro de una organización, el grado actual de digitalización de los recursos humanos, los parámetros operativos y estratégicos necesarios y, en última instancia, el impacto en los métodos de trabajo. Como resultado, se realiza una evaluación del uso de las métricas de HR y se derivan nuevas ratios potenciales.<br>[CAT] La digitalització dels processos de RRHH en solucions basades en el núvol progressa contínuament. Aquesta tesi examina tals transformacions, deriva un model de procés concret i identifica els factors crítics d'èxit.
La metodologia utilitzada per a la investigació és de caràcter qualitatiu. Com a base i mesura preparatòria per a abordar les qüestions d'investigació, es va dur a terme un ampli estudi bibliogràfic en l'àmbit dels recursos humans, amb especial atenció a les publicacions sobre la gestió electrònica dels recursos humans (en endavant, "e-HRM "). Basant-se en aquest coneixement i en la combinació d'una àmplia experiència pràctica amb projectes de transformació de RRHH, es va publicar un estudi que presenta el desenvolupament històric d'e-HRM i que ha derivat en un model de processos optimitzat que té en compte els requisits tècnics de RRHH així com les limitacions de la nova tecnologia del núvol. Posteriorment, es va entrevistar a diversos experts en RRHH que ja havien adquirit experiència de primera mà amb els processos de RRHH en un entorn de núvol per esbrinar quins factors d'èxit eren rellevants per a aquesta transformació de RRHH.
Les principals conclusions d'aquesta tesi són la derivació d'un model de procediment de projecte de millors pràctiques per a la transformació dels processos de RRHH en una solució basada en el núvol i la identificació d'obstacles potencials en la implementació d'aquests projectes. A més, s'elaboren els motius de la transformació, els factors que impulsen el procés dins d'una organització, el grau actual de digitalització dels recursos humans, els paràmetres operatius i estratègics necessaris i, en última instància, l'impacte en els mètodes de treball . Com a resultat, es realitza una avaluació de l'ús de les mètriques de HR i es deriven nous ràtios potencials.<br>[EN] The digitisation of HR processes into cloud-based solutions is progressing continuously. This thesis examines such transformations, derives a concrete process model and identifies the critical success factors.
The methodology used for the investigation is of a qualitative nature. As a basis and preparatory measure to address the research questions, an extensive literature study in the HR field was carried out, with a special focus on publications on electronic human resources management (hereinafter e-HRM). Based on this knowledge and the combination of extensive practical experience with HR transformation projects, a study was published which presents the historical development of e-HRM and derived an optimised process model taking into account the technical HR requirements as well as the limitations of the new cloud technology. Subsequently, several HR experts who had already gained first-hand experience with HR processes in a cloud environment were interviewed to find out which success factors were relevant for such an HR transformation.
Main findings of this thesis are the derivation of a best-practice project procedure model for the transformation of HR processes into a cloud-based solution and the identification of potential obstacles in the implementation of such projects. In addition, the motives for such a transformation, the drivers within an organisation, the current degree of HR digitisation, the necessary operational and strategic parameters and ultimately the impact on working methods are worked out. As a further result, an assessment of the use of HR metrics is given and potential new key figures are derived.<br>Ziebell, R. (2019). The iTour Project is an empirical study of the design of online interactive animated tours (iTours), and establishes a knowledge base for technical communicators and new media designers working in this area. The key objectives of this research were to understand the features of effective iTours; to explore the processes and techniques of designing and testing effective iTours; and to establish new praxis in new media design for technical communication. Design artefacts resulted from six key activities including: (1) Sub-project 1- RMIT Multimedia Online documentation with basic animation; (2) Sub-project 2- Online @ RMIT Orientation with some iTour animation; (3) Third-party iTour analytical review to deconstruct iTours and determine key elements; (4) Sub-project 3- Online @ RMIT iTours; (5) iTour Guidelines; and (6) A second, more comprehensive third-party iTour analysis to test the Guidelines. The outcome of the research is encapsulated in a web site that binds the artefacts of design sub-projects with a set of Guidelines. These Guidelines form a conceptual, structural and operational framework for iTour designers, and draw on the knowledge established while designing and testing iTours, analysing third-party iTours, and researching comparative fields. These fields include technical communication; new media; web; usability design and testing; and, to a lesser extent, software design and testing. The Guidelines, in conjunction with the knowledge base, were developed to facilitate effective communication through iTours. Through this research, the design action case study was established as a hybrid research approach: design research and action research are blended; and knowledge is situated within, and derived from, a case study. In support of design research, the PDIOR design cycles have been specified and include these phases: plan; develop; implement; observe; and reflect. The PDIOR approach combines design research and action research in a cyclical mode to explore technical communication and new media activities. Finally, eleven principles for designing effective iTours emerged from this research project. Articulation of these principles, in addition to the Guidelines, contributes new knowledge in the field for technical communicators, new media designers and others, who wish to engage in iTour design.

Also, financial contribution of the project will be assessed from the cost and effectiveness point of view.

Tese de Doutoramento em Desenho<br>Este é um trabalho de investigação sobre processos de projecto e mais especificamente sobre a forma como a tomada de decisão pode influenciar os resultados destes em termos da sua adequação estratégica e qualidade global. O estudo incide sobre a fase conceptual dos processos de projecto e procura descrever o comportamento dos projectistas tanto ao nível do Ensino (estudantes finalistas) como ao nível das empresas. Um dos resultados previstos era a criação de um modelo descritivo que suportasse a compreensão da gestão de processos de projecto nas suas variáveis mais críticas. Este modelo descritivo deveria basear-se na identificação de parâmetros chave dos processos de design no que concerne a sua adequação estratégica e qualidade global. Em termos metodológicos trata-se de uma investigação mista com claro domínio de métodos qualitativos de investigação activa como são as experiências videogravadas de processos de projecto, tanto em situação de simulação como em situação de contexto real. Os métodos quantitativos foram também utlizados e serviram o propósito da triangulação metodológica de dados por forma a obter-se uma descrição o mais rigorosa e consistente possível dos processos de projecto e seus elementos estruturantes. A recolha de dados deu-se tanto no contexto de ensino como no contexto empresarial portugueses tendo-se efectuado experiências em que estas duas áreas de intervenção interagiram. Ademais foi feita uma comparação do desempenho de estudantes universitários Portugueses e Holandeses do Curso de Design. Esta análise almejava confirmar informação obtida em estudos anteriores e assim validar o presente estudo e também visava perceber o papel que diferentes currículos de ensino podem ter na performance dos alunos finalistas. A conclusão fundamental deste estudo é a de que a tomada de decisão a par com a gestão de informação e conhecimento e a geração de ideias são aspectos fundamentais a serem acedidos nos processos de projecto xiii Resumo quando se persegue a sua adequação estratégica e uma boa qualidade global destes. Um segundo contributo deste trabalho é a descriminação de um conjunto de parâmetros que servem a melhor compreensão dos processos de tomada de decisão no projecto. Estes parâmetros integram um modelo descritivo de tomada de decisão criado e que equaciona a tomada de decisão em três níveis distintos que são interdependentes da gestão de informação e conhecimento e da geração de ideias. O modelo criado apresenta num nível macro, respeitante à ‘mindset’ do projectista e que tem dois elementos a considerar: a) a estratégia de projecto que pode ser de três tipos: guiada pelo problema; guiada pela solução; guiada pela integração; e b) os processos cognitivos criativos que assumem dois modos de acção: o exploratório, que tem a ver com operações tais como a alteração contextual, a inferência funcional, o teste de hipóteses e, o generativo, que se relaciona com a transferência analógica, a associação, a recuperação de elementos/informação e a síntese. Num nível intermédio as decisões podem ser de três distintas naturezas: de Enquadramento (Framing), Chave (Key) e Facilitadoras (Enabler). Por fim temos o nível micro do modelo, que corresponde à operacionalização da ‘mindset’ e que compreende a estratégia da decisão e o modo de decisão. Quanto à estratégia de decisão esta pode ser: a) baseada em regras de compensação, b) baseada em regras de não compensação ou c) mista numa negociação das duas primeiras. O modo de decisão está intimamente ligado às dinâmicas de grupo e foca-se na forma como os grupos organizam o projecto e decidem.<br>This research focuses on the design process and more specifically on the way decision making can influence the design process’ outcomes in its strategic adequacy and overall quality. The study is centred on the conceptual phase of the design process and, in general, aims to describe the behaviour along the process of design students and professional Portuguese designers both at the educational and business level. It should result in a descriptive model to support the understanding of design process management in terms of its critical variables. This descriptive model is based on the identification of the key parameters of design processes concerning its strategic adequacy and overall quality. In methodological terms it is a mixed methods research with a clear dominance of qualitative methods integrating an active research where experiments either in simulated situations or in real context play a key role. Quantitative methods were also used and they served the purpose of triangulating data in order to have a more consistent and rigorous description of the design process and its main structural elements. Data gathering occurred in the education and business areas, partly separately and partly combined. Furthermore, in the field of education a comparison of the performance of both Portuguese and Dutch university students was made. That helped to validate some findings of previous studies but also to understand the role different Design curricula can have in the performance of students. The main conclusion of the study is that decision making togehter with information and knowledge management, and idea generation are the fundamental aspects to be addressed in design processes when both strategic adequacy and good quality of the design outcomes are pursued. Another important finding is that decision making is better understood through the use of a few central parameters. These parameters were used in the creation of a descriptive decision making model that equates xi Abstract decision making at three different levels that are highly dependent on information/knowledge management and Idea generation. At a macro level, which regards the mindset of the designer, we make a distinction into two elements: a) the design strategy with its three types – problem driven, solution driven and integration driven; and b) the creative cognitive processes that present two modes of action: the exploratory one that has to do with operations such as contextual shifting, functional inference and hypothesis testing; and the generative one that is related with analogical transfer, association, retrieval and synthesis. At an intermediate level we have decisions that can have a Framing, Key or Enabler nature. And finally, we have the micro level of the model, the operationalization of the mindset, where the decision strategy and the decision mode are chosen. The decision strategy presents three types of behavior: the compensatory rule based; the non compensatory rule based and the negotiated compensatory /non compensatory one and it is clearly linked with the way decisions are taken in processing information. The mode of decision is linked with group dynamics and focuses on the way teams organize themselves while working and deciding.

I framtiden så kan sidan utvecklas till att låta fler säljare ha sina produkter på sidan. Sidan ska ha grundläggande funktioner som en fungerande varukorg, tydlig produktvy samt ett gränssnitt för att administrera produkter. De språk som sidan har utvecklats i är PHP, HTML5, MySQL och CSS. Sidan är en grund med möjlighet till många utvecklingsmöjligheter både funktions och designmässigt. Vårt mål är att göra en fungerande prototyp.

Thesis (MSc)--Stellenbosch University, 2000.<br>ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) contributes significantly to the high death rate
from cardiovascular disease worldwide. FH is a common autosomal co-dominant
disease characterised by raised cholesterol levels and premature coronary heart
disease (CHD). Whilst these features usually are very prominent in homozygotes the
clinical diagnosis of heterozygotes is complicated by variable phenotypic expression.
Specific founder genes in the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) gene have
increased the prevalence of FH in South African Afrikaners, Indians, Jews and
Coloureds, and screening for these known mutations allows unequivocal diagnosis
of FH-affected individuals. The systematic molecular analysis of FH resulted in the
identification of at least ten founder-type LDLR gene mutations among the 56
different gene defects described to date in the diverse South African population.
DNA screening of 792 at-risk family members for the FH-related mutations identified
in 379 index cases, allowed accurate disease diagnosis in an additional 340
relatives and exclusion of the relevant mutation in 452 individuals. This effort forms
part of the MED PED FH initiative, a collaborative project to "Make Early Diagnosis
and Prevent Early Deaths in MEDical PEDigrees with FH".
Evaluation of clinical criteria versus DNA diagnosis of three founder-related
mutations (D154N, D206E and V408M) in the South African population
demonstrated that the sensitivity and specificity of diagnoses, based on total
cholesterol values measured in family members of index cases recruited for this
study, were 88% and 77%, respectively. A population-directed DNA diagnosis of FH is therefore justified in South Africa on a routine basis, since expression of the
defective gene measured in biochemical tests does not allow accurate diagnosis of
FH in all cases.
The application of mutation detection was illustrated by prenatal diagnosis of FH
performed for a couple who are both heterozygous for the most common Afrikaner
mutation, D206E. The mutation was absent in the foetus and a
normocholesterolaemic infant was born. Prenatal diagnosis of FH, aimed at the
detection of homozygous cases, is particularly applicable in populations and families
with molecularly defined LDLR gene mutations.
The MED-PED approach resulted in accurate diagnosis and subsequent treatment
of FH in more patients, and referral to lipid clinics where they could receive the
intensive care their condition justifies. Molecularly diagnosed FH patients will be the
first to benefit from future treatment approaches based on mutation type.<br>AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Familiële hiprcholesterolemie dra grootliks by tot die wêreldwye hoë sterftesyfer van
kardiovaskulêre siekte. FH is 'n algemene outosomale ko-dominante siekte wat

Terwyl hierdie kenmerke prominent is in homosigote, word die kliniese diagnose van
heterosigote bemoeilik deur variasie in fenotipiese uitdrukking. Spesifieke
stigtergene in die lae-digtheids lipoproteien reseptor (LDLR) geen het die
voorkomssyfer van FH verhoog in Suid Afrikaanse Afrikaners, Indiërs, Jode en
Kleurlinge. Sifting vir hierdie bekende mutasies maak akkurate diagnose van FH geaffekteerde
individue moontlik. Die sistematiese molekulêre analise van FH het
aangetoon dat ten minste tien van die 56 verskillende geen defekte wat tot dusver

Die waarde van mutasie opsporing is geillustreer deur 'n voorgeboortelike diagnose
van FH wat aangevra is vir ouers wat beide heterosigoties is vir die mees algemene
Afrikaner mutasie, D206E. Die mutasie was afwesig in die fetus en 'n
normocholesterolemiese baba is gebore. Voorgeboortelike diagnose van FH, wat
gemik is op die opsporing van homosigotiese gevalle, is veral van toepassing in
populasies en families met bekende LDLR geen mutasies.
Die MED-PED benadering het gelei tot akkurate diagnose en daaropvolgende
behandeling van FH in meer pasiënte, en verwysings na lipiedklinieke waar hulle
intensiewe aandag kan geniet. Molekulêre gediagnoseerde FH pasiënte sal die
eerste wees om baat te vind by toekomstige behandeling wat moontlik gebasseer
sal word op mutasie status.

Med hjälp av eget konstruerade algorithmer så kommer detta bli möjligt. Analyser och uträkningar utförs samt deras resultat redovisas på webbsidan. Det är en krav att varje användare registrerar sig först innan de får tillgång till webbsidan. Databasen är gjord i mySQL. Utvecklingen av algoritmen och serversidan är programmerad i PHP och SQL. Clientsidan är programmerad i HTML, CSS och JavaScrip.

O primeiro de verificar vínculos que se assemelham a manifestações da dádiva no Projeto Apoio a Distância (PAD). O segundo objetivo pretendeu
discutir a dádiva no conceito de Jacques Godbout e sua manifestação no Projeto Apoio a Distância. E o terceiro de demonstrar a importância da dádiva na estruturação, manutenção e sustentabilidade do projeto. O trabalho demonstra como o projeto colabora para a geração de vínculos, principal propósito da dádiva, o que pode contribuir para o aperfeiçoamento e a perpetuidade do próprio projeto. Mesmo baseando-se em uma única iniciativa, inúmeras organizações
do Terceiro Setor trabalham com iniciativas semelhantes, estendendo as descoberta do trabalho a estas também. Realizado por meio de estudo de caso do projeto em Salvador (BA), volta-se para o apoiador ou padrinho, com a perspectiva de demonstrar que a ação da dádiva não é circunscrita ao apoiado, mas envolve os dois pólos da relação. devem considerar a presença do dom.<br>The first will highlight that resemble the manifestations of the gift in the Distant Support Project (PAD). The second aim is discuss the gift between strangers on the concept of Jacques
Godbout and its manifestation in Distance Support Project (PAD). And the third is demonstrate the importance of gift for the structuring, maintenance and stainability of PAD. The dissertation will show how the project helps to generate links which is the main proposal of the gift, possibility also contributing to improve and maintain the project itself. Even being based in an unique initiative, many third sector organizations work with similar proposals
expanding the findings of the work to these as well. Based on a case-study of the project in the municipality Salvador (Bahia) it is addressed to the sponsor showing that the gift is not only forwarded to the sponsor. It is a two way relationship. The Brazilian position of a no further supported country from international cooperation projects but as a donor country or player push managements to create strategies in order to mobilize Brazilian families to continue the project that should consider the gift. The work shows invisible relationships (gifted ones) that deserve to be observed.

This thesis charts the rise of professional accountancy in Kenya. The study sets out to examine: how the market for the provision of accountancy services was controlled in colonial Kenya; how the exclusionary practices of the expatriate accountants in colonial Kenya were reversed after independence; how the process of indigenous professionalisation in the 1970s was implemented and the extent to which the model of professionalisation adopted here deviates from others to be found in the literature. As far as possible, the study draws upon archival sources of data mainly to be found in Kenya. However, given the scarcity of such historical data and the relatively recent passage of Accountants’ legislation in 1977, the study also utilises oral history data to add density and detail. The Kenyan professionalisation trajectory is a product of the changing social, political and economic environment from within which it emanates. The study finds that at various points in the history of the Kenyan project, different groups of accountants adopted different closure strategies. In colonial Kenya, the expatriates mounted exclusionary closure and attempted to exclude unqualifieds on the basis of competence and non-whites on the basis of race. After independence, prompted by the state, Africans were encouraged to train for accountancy in the belief that successful Africanisation would permit the excluded Africans to “bite into” the privileges enjoyed by the expatriate accountants, effectively mounting inclusionary usurpation. Finally, both exclusionary and inclusionary strategies were adopted at different points in the processes leading to the formation of ICPAK (the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) in order to command control of the profession.

The goal of this study is to identify factors which may be preventing use of an experimental health care program in the People's Republic of Benin. While previous surveys have focused more specifically on the impact of fees on use and demand, our aim to identify a wider range of factors.<br>There are two principle methods by which this can be done. One is to extract possible factors from a review of the relevant literature. The other is to carry out an exploratory, qualitative study in the field. We have used both these methods.<br>A qualitative study is a necessary prelude to a survey, since we initially have no specific idea about which factors to measure and investigate. The aim is to identify factors which may be relevant so that a subsequent survey, with a larger number of cases, could quantify and measure their influence and statistical significance.

Parallelement, on constate que les projets de developpement sont de moins en moins sectoriels mais adoptent de plus en plus des approches englobantes, dites "integrees", visant tous les aspects du developpement d'une region. La problematique de la presente these reside dans l'adequation entre ces methodes d'evaluation et les realites des projets de developpement dans les ped. Le cadre d'analyse est limite d'une part, aux evaluations ex-tempore ou ex-post et, d'autre part, aux projets de developpement rural integre. L'analyse des enjeux de l'application des methodes evaluatives aux projets de developpement rural integre se fait a deux niveaux : le niveau de la conception de l'evaluation et le niveau de sa mise en oeuvre. Au premier niveau, les problemes rencontres sont surtout lies a la nature integree des projets, tandis qu'au deuxieme, les difficultes proviennent avant tout de la specificite du milieu rural (poids des facteurs culturels, forte dependance de conditions non-maitrisables, telles que les aleas climatiques). Les differents points evoques dans cette these sont illustres a l'aide d'un cas precis, un projet de developpement rural integre emanant de l'aide multilaterale, situe a madagascar. Les enseignements tires entre autres a partir de cet exemple sont toutefois d'ordre relativement general et ils sont, en grande partie, valables pour d'autres pays de l'ass. Au coeur de cette analyse reside donc la difficile perequation entre ce qui est theoriquement souhaitable et ce qui est pratiquement faisable. Sans pretendre trouver une issue a cette problematique, nous proposons des possibilites prometteuses d'approches adaptees et d'associations d'outils, tout en soulignant les dangers et les limites de l'application des methodes d'evaluation aux projets de developpement rural integre<br>The evaluation of projects is nowadays a routine exercise. Its spreading has been accompanied by an important evolution of evaluation methods. During the same period, development projects became less and less sector-oriented. Instead they are now adopting approaches that are more and more global, called "integrated", aiming at all aspects of the development of a region. The central question of this thesis concerns the possibilities of adjusting evaluation methods to the realities of development projects in the third world. Our frame of analysis is restricted on the one hand to on-going and ex-post evaluations and on the other hand to integrated rural development projects. The analysis of the difficulties of applying evaluation methods to integrated development projects is divided into two levels : the level of conceiving the evaluation and the level of its implementation. On the first level, the encountered problems stem above all from the integrated nature of the projects, while on the second level the difficulties are largely due to the specificity of the rural environment (importance of cultural factors, strong dependency on uncontrollable conditions, like the climate). The different problems mentioned in this thesis are illustrated on the case of an integrated rural development project, situated in madagascar, financed and carried out by multilateral donor agencies. However, the lessons drawn with the help of this example are of a relatively general nature and they are also largely valid for other sub-saharan countries. In the heart of this analysis lies the difficulty to balance out between what is theoretically desirable and what is practically feasible. Without pretending to find a solution to this problem, we propose promising possibilities of adapted approaches and of associations of different tools, even though we emphasise at the same time the dangers and the limits of the application of evaluation methods to integrated rural development projects

Para el presente trabajo de investigación se realizó una evaluación y análisis al gerenciamiento de un proyecto de infraestructura minera, específicamente a la etapa de la gestión de los permisos, antes y durante la construcción, asimismo se analizaron los resultados que se obtuvieron, y en base a ello presentaremos una propuesta de valor que consiste en una serie de lecciones aprendidas para mejorar estos resultados en proyectos futuros de construcción en el rubro minero.
El caso práctico en donde se aplicará la propuesta de mejora es en el proyecto ya ejecutado “Construcción del Pad Fase 3B y Depósito de Desmonte Norte” en la Unidad Minera Pucamarca, en el departamento de Tacna, en el cual se tuvieron impactos principalmente en tiempo y costo, debido a riesgos referidos a permisos que no fueron identificados, a pesar de contar con un procedimiento para la gestión del cambio, gestión de proyectos y para la gestión de riesgos, los cuales finalmente causaron impactos durante la etapa de ejecución del proyecto.
Luego de analizar y cuantificar estos riesgos suscitados durante la construcción, se demostró con la propuesta de valor que estos impactos pueden ser controlados y minimizados con un adecuado seguimiento al cumplimiento de los procedimientos con los que ya cuenta la Unidad Minera Pucamarca, en donde la importancia del control de las revisiones y aprobaciones deben ser realizados en cada una de las fases del proyecto y en cada una de las áreas involucradas del proyecto, de tal forma que se realicen diseños acordes a los parámetros y normativa aplicable en el rubro minero, y de esta forma asegurar el éxito del proyecto.<br>For the present research work, an evaluation and analysis was made to the management of a mining infrastructure project, specifically to the stage of the management of the permits, before and during the construction, also the results obtained are analyzed, and on the basis of We will present a value proposal that consists of a series of lessons learned to improve these results in future construction projects in the mining sector.
The practical case where the improvement proposal will be applied is in the project already executed "Construction of the Pad Phase 3B and Deposit of North Disassembly" in the Pucamarca Mining Unit, in the department of Tacna, in which impacts were mainly had in time and cost, due to risks related to permits that were not identified, despite having a procedure for change management, project management and risk management, which ultimately caused impacts during the project's execution stage.
After analyzing and quantifying these risks during the construction, it was demonstrated with the value proposal that these impacts can be controlled and minimized with an adequate follow-up to the compliance with the procedures with which the Pucamarca Mining Unit already counts, where the importance The control of the reviews and approvals must be carried out in each of the phases of the project and in each of the areas involved in the project, in such a way that designs are made according to the parameters and regulations applicable in the mining area, and This way ensure the success of the project.<br>Tesis

This thesis has two major objectives. First, some of the key environmental problems, such as waste disposal, pollution and sand encroachment in Kuwait are analysed in the context of the decision making process of the country. On the end once presented it is suggested that decision making is responsible for many of the environmental problems that now exist. This analysis adopts the social science approach of analyzing decision making by investigating both political theories and decision making models and relating them to Kuwait. The second objective is to consider to what extent certain tools and methods of environmental management could be introduced in Kuwait to help resolve the environmental problems. Based on the evaluation of a number of approaches it is suggested that Environmental Impact Assessment (E.I.A.) is probably the most effective environmental management tool to help protect Kuwait's environment and achieve the concept of sustainable development. To be effective however it is aruged that E.I.A. should be applied not only at the project level but also in policy formulation. The case studies are then presented. One considers the application of E.I.A. at the policy level for solid waste management whilst the second describes a project E.I.A. approach for a proposed navigation channel. It is suggested in this thesis that economic growth on its own, should no longer be seen as the main indicator of development. Sustainable development with all that this encompasses including the linking of economic and environmental concerns should be seen as the new development objective. This specifies the need to maintain the quality of natural resources over time to meet the needs of present and future generations. E.I.A. should help to achieve this objective if applied to both projects and policies. This thesis concludes with certain recommendations to impose E.I.A. practice in Kuwait, based on the evidence presented.

Målet med detta projekt har varit att delta i ett dagligt arbete på tidningen Norra Västerbotten. Mer ingående skulle frågor om arbetsprocessen för webbutvecklarna besvaras, hur nya uppgifter inkommer, hur projekt implementeras och vad som händer med produkter efter implementeringen. Dessa frågor besvarades med hjälp av praktiskt arbete jämsides med webbutvecklarna på företaget men även genom att ställa frågor och föra samtal med nyckelpersoner. De studier som och det praktiska arbetet som genomfördes har gett en bild över hur arbetsprocessen på Norra Västerbotten vanligtvis ser ut, det har framkommit vilka metoder som ligger som grund för arbetet på tidningen men även vilka versionshanteringssystem och lagringstjänster de använder sig utav. En ingående konstruktionsrapportering finns med där mycket fokus ligger på ett av de större projekten som arbetats med under praktik perioden. Rapporten avslutas med en diskussion om hur projektet har fortskridit, vad som var svårare och lättare, vad författaren lärt sig och vad hon vill fortsätta använda och skaffa mer kunskap inom.

Hindering important petroleum projects in Kuwait by the parliament under the pretext of preventing the violation of the oil ownership concepts included in the constitution is almost turning into a phenomenon. According to the Kuwaiti constitution, the natural resources are owned by the state, and consequently foreign oil ownership of national reserves is prohibited (Article 21 of the constitution). In addition, exploiting the national natural resources by other party than the state, though it is legally possibly, is restricted by several conditions (Article 152 of the constitution). The national petroleum project concerns the re-involvement of the international oil companies (IOCs) to develop production capacity from Kuwait’s northern oil fields, which is commonly known as the ‘Kuwait Project’, has met a considerable opposition by the parliament, and consequently has not been yet signed, in spite of the completion of its technical, financial and legal framework. The reason for opposing this project is that it, arguably, may include provisions contradicting with the constitutional framework for the exploitation of petroleum in Kuwait. Whether or not Kuwait’s oil ownership concepts stand as an obstacle to developing Kuwait’s oil production capacity requires examining the application of these concepts to the ‘Kuwait Project’. Such analysis will lead to accurately determine the effectiveness of these concepts when applied in practice and to identify aspects of possible incapability in addressing related issues.

Dans cette thèse est défendu l'intérêt d'évaluer la santé d'un système/objet industriel multi-composants à travers un bilan de santé multi-niveaux hiérarchiques. Elle a donc pour objet principal de justifier les éléments essentiels du concept de bilan de santé générique qui représente l'état réel d'un système sous la forme d'un vecteur d'indicateurs de différentes natures. Vis-à-vis de ce fondement, la thèse se focalise plus spécifiquement sur les fonctions de détection des anomalies-normalisation et agrégation d'indicateurs pour élaborer un index synthétique représentatif de l'état de santé global pour chaque élément du système. Il est ainsi proposé, une nouvelle approche de détection conditionnelle des anomalies. Cette approche a pour intérêt de quantifier la déviation pour chaque indicateur par rapport à son mode de comportement nominal tout en prenant en compte le contexte dans lequel évolue le système. Une extension à l'exploitation de l'intégrale de Choquet en tant qu'opérateur d'agrégation des indicateurs est aussi proposée. Cette extension concerne, d'une part, un processus d'apprentissage non supervisé des capacités pour le niveau le plus inférieur dans l'abstraction, à savoir celui des composants, et d'autre part, une approche de mise en oeuvre de leur inférence d'un niveau à l'autre. Thus scientific Ph. D. objective aims to establish items of a generic health check-up concept. It focuses specifically on the functions of anomaly detection, normalization and aggregation of different indicators to develop a synthetic index representing the overall health status for each element within the system. In that way, it is proposed a new approach for detecting conditional anomalies. This approach has the advantage of quantifying the deviation for each indicator compared to its nominal behavior while taking into account the context in which the system operates. An extension of the Choquet integral used as an operator aggregating indicators is also proposed. This extension regards on the one hand, a process of an unsupervised learning of the capacity coefficients for the lowest level of abstraction, namely components level, and on the other hand, an approach to inference them from one level to another. These contributions are implemented on a ship diesel engine which is the most critical system for the BMCI project of the MER-PACA pole to which this thesis is attached

In my work, I dealt with the development of building technology project for multi-functional building in Olomouc Tabulový Vrch. The goal is to select and develop appropriate design of the building in terms of financial, time and technical requirements based on the technical documentation provided by the designer. Building technology project includes a study of implementation of main technological stages, object, time and financial plan, drawings site equipment, site equipment technical report, technical regulations, inspection and test plan, financial budget for the construction of the technological steps, the schedule, the draft report and not machine prescription number for safety in the implementation of reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton including security risks.

This thesis is about the mobility of northern Baikal hunters, reindeer herders and fishermen and their engagement with living in the world through the structures they build and use in the context of numerous development projects and innovations. This work suggests a shift from the ‘static perspective’ where local people’s spatial practices were analysed through the prism of their relationship to a particular stationary structure, such as a village or a hunter’s base to a dynamic one where a structure is interpreted as embedded in a complex network of movements connecting a number of locations. The houses or hunting log cabins that local people use within their routine do not exist separately from other practices. Therefore, this thesis approaches northern Baikal hunters and reindeer herders as people settled neither in the village nor in the forest, but rather as people moving in-between structures, which are not necessarily concentrated in one particular place. It analyses some spaces that are intensively used and others that are used occasionally or seasonally without creating a dichotomy. The way of life of northern Baikal hunters, reindeer herders and fishermen demonstrates a certain continuity. They always combined the use of stationary and mobile architecture as well as movements of different length with their daily tasks. Local people’s everyday practices were always based on intensive movements between numerous locations which functioned as points of constant return. Local people managed to incorporate numerous innovations and development projects by means of movements and for the purpose of movements. Hence, movements can be interpreted as a creative process which serves as an expression of local people’s own ideas and views. This is a thesis about people for whom to move means to live.

There is information to my master's thesis which is called “Web application for NS2 training”. This application works after installation and its source codes are saved on applied CD. It is said about implement Network Simulator 2. It helps to realize simulation of nets and then author inserts information about them into web application. Registered web's visitor has possibility to insert project into application. The project contents information about simulation created in NS2. Web application can also visible detail of possible project which is approved of administrator. Then the visitor can sort projects, search entered expression or connect his contribution to discussion forum. Administrator can approve users projects in his part of application. It makes available for the others. He can also delete them from database. Theory about technologies which are used for implementation of this application. It is talked about web Apache server, database MySQL server and programmable PHP language. There is also mentioned information about security of web application included possible attacks on applications and their database. It is presented proposal of database which creates core of application. This proposal is depended on application requirements. Next chapters give to reader whole image about functionality of application. There are mentioned samples of final graphical image of application. This document also provides the shows of source codes for creating database tables.

This semester project deals with risk management. The whole work is conceived according to the current PMI standard. This is an analysis of the ten knowledge areas and the processes involved. After explaining the basic concepts of project management, all processes are briefly described, including the individual inputs and outputs of each process. The most attention is focused on the knowledge area of risk management, which is the subject of this work. From this knowledge area, the risk planning and identification processes are analyzed in more detail according to the assignment. On the basis of these two processes was created an architecture design of application. It describes application design and implementation in PHP framework Laravel. Final part of this thesis consists of testing chapter and final conclusion where the results and possible extensions are discussed.
