Turkish foreign policy has experienced a significant transformation since the AK Party came to power in 2002. The pro-status quo, passive and reactive foreign policy with a limited regional perspective transformed into an active foreign policy that aims to change international relations in the region as a whole. This change was analyzed in many different studies in recent years, and scholars from different fields of political science have tried to make sense of this major shift and understand its causes and outcomes. In this study, this foreign policy change will be explained as a gradual deve

The 1795 rebellion in East Florida was a short lived affair, barely extending south of the St. Johns River, and resulting in the deaths of only three Spanish soldiers. Thirty-three of the sixty-seven people identified as rebels by the Spanish escaped across the St. Marys River into Georgia. The remainder were arrested and temporarily imprisoned in the Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine. Though harsh sentences were handed down by a Spanish court in 1798, none were ever carried out. These two authors are widely considered to be opposed in their vision of art, but I show that their aesthetics in fact converge upon the same goal: to grant the reader a particular kind of freedom. These authors shared the Kantian view that aesthetic enjoyment requires that the reader not be constrained by any interest or concept. Abstract:
A large variety of halocarbon species are present in the atmosphere and can significantly impact stratospheric ozone depletion and/or global warming. Compound use has been phased out, reduced and replaced for some species under global control measures such as the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols. However, relatively long atmospheric lifetimes, imperfect substitutes and incomplete reductions in usage mean that global abundances of halocarbon species still require regular monitoring. This is especially true for the rapidly developing East and South-East Asian regions where widespread emissions have
