O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a incidência das principais lesões esportivas comuns em atletas jovens de 16 a 19 anos de idade, que participaram de treinamento regular ou federado no ano de 2002, nas modalidades esportivas basquetebol, futsal e voleibol. Foram identificados, também, alguns aspectos de treinamento e estrutura médica. Para isso, aplicou-se um questionário para 323 atletas e entrevistas com 26 técnicos e 8 médicos, de 20 clubes esportivos de São Paulo. During the school year, cadets in ROTC programs are required to participate in mandatory physical training. However, during the summer months, training is not required. Changes can occur in VO2max with both training and detraining. According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), approximately 1.3 million U.S. residents are residing in nursing homes. CMS enforced regulations in the Nursing Home Reform Act. Training in the use of restraints in nursing homes is monitored through the CMS standards.
