During the examination, physical roughness factors of the materials were treated as the independent variable, and the heart rate variability (HRV) and dynamic blood pressure (DBP) were chosen as the dependent variables. Large diameter intrapulmonary arteriovenous anastomoses (IPAVA) have been known to exist in humans for >60 years, and the prevalence of patent foramen ovale (PFO) is ~35-40% in the general population. However, respiratory physiologists have largely ignored the presence of a PFO and only recently begun to appreciate IPAVA. Reasons some remain critical of IPAVA to be physiologically relevant is due to the relatively undefined role for blood flow through IPAVA to contribute to pulmonary gas exchange efficiency and the unknown and mechanism(s) regulating blood flow through IPAVA. Abstract:
Review question / Objective: This review aims to review systematically, and meta-analyse published pre-clinical research about the mechanism of endocannabinoid system modulation on glial cells and their effects on cognitive function in designated Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) in the animal model. Condition being studied: Its been acknowledged that the cure of Alzheimer's disease is still vague. Current medicine is working on symptoms only but never stop the disease progression due to neuronal loss. In recent years, researches have found that cannabinoid which is derived from cannabis sativa plant a

Abstract:
The National Park Service (NPS) is charged with maintaining natural riverine resources and processes in its parks along the Yampa River and downstream along the Green River. This mission requires information on how proposed water withdrawals would affect resources. We present a methodology that quantifies the impact on natural riverine and riparian features of Dinosaur National Monument based on alternative withdrawals that vary in volume and timing. This methodology uses a reverse quantification and develops tools to enable the NPS to ensure that if withdrawals must occur, the adverse impacts

Abstract:
Because of the increase in usage of remote sensing tags to track the migration and movements of cetaceans, it has become increasingly important to assess the impact of such techniques on the target species. Between 1988 and 1997, 55 tags (41 satellite telemetry, 14 VHF or acoustic radio transmitter) were attached to 49 North Atlantic right whales (Eubalaena glacialis). All tags had implantable barbs or were fully implanted below the dermis. Right whales are photographically identifiable and the New England Aquarium curates the North Atlantic catalog, which currently numbers 374 individuals. Th
