Abstract:
The present work describes the results obtained for the phytochemical and microbiological studies of the 70% hydroethanolic extract, its fractions and metabolites isolated from the leaves of Biribazeiro ( Annona mucosa Jacq.). Initially, the hydroethanolic extract (70%) of the vegetable leaves was prepared and a phytochemical screening was carried out in search of the secondary metabolites of study. The tests confirmed the presence of tannins, flavonols, flavanones, flavanonols, xanthones, leucoanthocyanidins, anthocyanidins, free steroids,

Abstract:
This investigation provides new data on chemical characterization of aqueous & lipid extracts of the Iraqi Manna lichen, Lecanora esculenta. Preliminary chemical detection of some medicinal active ingredients of the crud manna lichen powder, & the acidity of the water extract, were performed using different reagents. The total lipid was extracted by chloroform- methanol 2:1 (V/V), & separated by salicylic acid column into neutral & polar lipid. Fractions of these lipids were further analyzed by gas/liquid chromatography (GLC) to detect of various saturated and non-saturated fat

Abstract:
The MeOH extracts of Dendrobium pullchellum Roxb. Ex Lind1. And D. ellipsophyllum Tang & wang (Orchidaceae) showed significant cytotoxic activity against human lung cancer cells. Phytochemical study of the whole plant of D. pullchellum Roxb. Ex Lind1 led to the isolation of seven phenolic compounds, namely, chrysotobibenzyl, chrysotoxine, crepidatin, moscatilin, fimbriatone, (-) –shikimic acid and liriodendrin. The whole plant of D. ellipsophyllum Tang & wang yielded ten phenolic compounds indluding moscatilin, 5,7-dihydroxy-chromen-4-one, 4,5-dihydroxy-2,3-dimethoxy-9,10-dihydrophenan
