Aim: Pilates exercises were introduced by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s. These exercises are based on 5 basic principles; centering, concentration, sensitivity, flow and respiration. All pilates exercises are applied with core stabilization. Functional Movement Screen (FMS™) is a screening system that shows functional deficiencies. The aim of our study was to investigate the effect of 12-week pilates group exercise training on functional movement scores in women. Creating an exercise training program that addresses the specific problem of physical inactivity that is accessible, enjoyable, and also provides health benefits to its participants is a clear public health guideline. The Pilates system meets all these criteria. Among the many types of physical activity programs, Pilates has gained increasing popularity among the general public over the past two decades and is often included in the list of global fitness trends. The reasons for the immense popularity of the Pilates method lie in its far-reaching, diverse benefits, which include, but are not li

It is clear how health systems can be promoted during athletic gymnastics to improve physical fitness and prevent injury in 16-17-year-old boys. Among the health systems are those that, in our opinion, can be organically combined with traditional athletic gymnastics – such as yoga, Pilates, and stretching. In fact, injuries in physical activity are becoming a significant problem, especially among athletes. Incorrect exercise, insufficient warm-up, and overtraining can lead to injury, which will require extensive rehabilitation. Current health systems promote effective approaches to injury prev
