This study focused on the attitude of the Catholic Church towards Jews and Protestants from the pontificate of Pius X, until that one of Pius XI. Hostility towards Jews and Protestants by the Catholic Church seems to be a constant of Italian Catholicism from the sixteenth century until the end of the Second World War, despite the presence of specific adjustments and revisions due to different historical contexts in which it appears. Quelle est l'évolution de la pensée du Saint-Siège sur l'éducation chrétienne de Pie XI à Paul VI (1929-1978), et quels sont les facteurs de celle-ci ? Deux méthodes d'analyse, l'une quantitative, l'autre qualitative, le croisement des tables générales et de celles des actes des papes de la revue "la Documentation catholique française", ont conduit à l'élaboration d'un corpus sur l'éducation. L'encyclique de Pie XI "Divini illius magistri" publiée le 31 décembre 1929 est choisie comme outil de référence pour cette recherche.
