Goal: is to analyze approaches to the formation of the term of an enterprise strategy and to identify key factors that affect the planning horizon. Methodology: is based on the analysis of scientific sources on the duration of the strategy and the observation of business practices in this direction through surveys of enterprises on approaches to the formation of a strategy and the actual implementation of planned indicators. Findings: of the study showed that the implementation of a strategy is often associated with a revision of its main provisions and early abandonment in favor of a new one.

Sports angling in Pacific Northwest waters has been predominantly for salmon from small recreational boats. This has led to a concentration of management resources on the sport salmon fishery. Eight shore-based sport fisheries in Burrard Inlet, however, do not fit into the management framework in place for the boat salmon fishery and have, therefore, been neglected. In contrast, shore-based sport fisheries have been developed in the U.S. and elsewhere, and have realized social, environmental and economic benefits, for urban communities. Abstract:
AbstractDirective 2016/1148 obliged each Member State to have a national strategy in the field of network and information system security, defining strategic goals and specific policy actions to be implemented. The adoption of the “Cybersecurity Strategy of the Republic of Poland” is also a requirement to implement the provision of Article 68 of the Act of 5 July 2018 on the National Cybersecurity System. The strategy for the years 2019–2024, which defines targets in the field of cybersecurity, set the main goal, i.e. increasing the level of resilience to cyber threats and increasing the level of information protection in the public, military, and private sectors and promoting knowledge and good practices enabling citizens to better protect their information. As part of the activities planned in the Strategy until 2024, the Government of the Republic of Poland will systematically strengthen and develop the National Cybersecurity System. The activities include systemic organisational, operational, technological, and legal solutions, creating social attitudes and conducting scientific research in order to ensure compliance with high cybersecurity standards in the area of software, devices and digital services. Government activities will be undertaken with respect for the rights and freedoms of citizens and by building trust between individual market sectors and public administration.

For this purpose, the management of a maintenance plan through the integration of BIM and GIS domains is here proposed. This integration is addressed through the use of Dynamo, which allows the dialogue between the BIM and GIS data in the PostgreSQL database.

AbstractManaging spare parts inventory is one strategy that needs to be adequately planned to support a fertilizer company’s production. Stockholding policy is part of integrated spare part management, where spare part classification is determined based on specific inventory criteria. This paper conducts an exploratory study on the design of the stockholding policy model in a fertilizer company in Indonesia. The stockholding policy model will be built with specific inventory criteria using multicriteria analysis: (1) Operation mode, (2) Failure mode, (3) Lead time, (4) Usage, and (5) Price. The results reveal that a fertilizer company’s stockholding policy model optimizes spare part inventory management. Optimum inventory is indicated by ITO (Inventory Turn Over) and Inventory value after stockholding policy model implementation. Knowing the importance and function of the stockholding policy model can develop and strengthen the company to improve spare part inventory strategy and support optimum operations for fertilizer company’s production.

AbstractIn this chapter the editors reflect on the thematic scope of this publication, situating it in a wider background of urban agriculture research. They claim that to leverage its greatest impact, opportunities to engage in urban cultivation should be widely accessible to all segments of urban population, close to everyone’s home. Worldwide, due to the scarcity of and high costs of land in dense urban inner-city areas, integrating urban agriculture in already existing and planned public spaces seems like the most feasible strategy to achieve this objective. This book wants to support this process by providing theoretical and practical insights on the integration of urban agriculture in public space development – addressing its well-being impacts, design, organization, educational contexts, and urban planning aspects.

Abstract:
AbstractTraceability is an issue of major importance and is related to the provision, sharing and tracking of information about products in every part of the food supply chain. However, traceability faces issues and challenges that eventually lead to increased consumers’ concerns. This paper examines Greek consumers’ perceptions of traceability in the food supply chain. The research was based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, as modified and used on previous studies, and was conducted with a structured questionnaire between April and May 2023, in a sample of 222 respondents. Findings indicate that consumers’ perceptions about traceability influence their intention and behavior in buying traceable food. Attitude, subjective norm, trust and perceived behavioral control influence positively-but rather weakly-the intention to buy traceable food, whereas the perceived behavioral control affects the Greek customers’ behavior in buying traceable food. Finally, consumers’ intention to buy traceable food influences their behavior in buying traceable food. The results can be used by academics in order to explore food traceability in a national context or validate results from similar studies in international context. They may also help food sector managers to better understand consumers’ perceptions about food traceability and formulate their strategy accordingly.

Despite the significant impact of the pandemic’s fourth wave, Vietnam’s overall strategy was seen as well planned with one of the lowest infection rates globally in 2020–2021. In June 2019, an estimated 540,000 Vietnamese migrant workers were recorded working legally in 40 countries and territories, making Vietnam a major labour exporter and one of the top ten countries to receive international remittances.
