Abstract:

Discharge planning is one indicator of ongoing nursing services that if performed well by the nurses will be able to improve the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction. One influential factor is the leadership of the head nurse, especially in the function of directing to nurses when carrying out discharge planning. The directional function carried out by the head nurse is in the form of giving motivation, supervision and conflict management. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the function of directional head nurse and the implementation of discharge planning nurses. The study design was descriptive correlational with a cross sectional time approach. The sample in this study were 56 nurses in the inpatient room of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a head nurse directional function questionnaire and discharge planning questionnaire implementation. The data analysis using the Kendall Tau statistical test. The results of this study showed that the assessment of direction function of head nurse were 27 people (48.2%) within adequate category, the implementation of discharge planning were 39 people (69.6%) within good category. The results of the Kendall Tau analysis test were p = 0.002 ( p <0.05). There is a relationship between the function of direction of head nurse to discharge planning nurses.

Abstract:

The most important parts of government income comes from taxes, especially income taxes. The different point of view arises between government and tax payer. While the government try to increase the tax income, the taxpayers always intend to minimize their tax burden by implementing tax management/plannning. This paper is a case study in FA Trico Paint Factory (FA TPF) that try to reperforming company’s income tax return preparation with the main purpose to minimize company tax burden, while it is still comply with tax regulations in Indonesia. This approach could be an alternative for the company to restate it’s annual income tax return, to avoic fines and charges for not comply with the regulations, and minimize it’s income tax expense by approximately 10% per year.

Abstract:

In this paper the information content of Boolean and fuzzy-set-based approaches to the problem of analyzing land suitability for agriculture within a geographical information system (GIS) is assessed. First, the two approaches to this problem are stated and formalized in the context of land-suitability evaluation. A database comprising 642 unique areas, 7 land qualities, 13 land characteristics, and 2 crop types is defined and described. Land-use suitability ratings for two crops, wetland rice and soybean, are generated by using Boolean and fuzzy methods. Results produced by the two methods are compared in terms of their usefulness for agricultural land-use plannning. The ARC/INFO vector-based GIS software package is utilized. The study area is the Cimanuk watershed in northwest Java, Indonesia.

Abstract:

In the mixed-production context of make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO), the manufacturing system becomes more complex for comprehensive balance of multiple objectives, including resource utilization, work in process (WIP), on-time delivery and throughput. To deal with this complexity, a dynamic production plannning and control (PPC) model with the hybrid of workload control (WLC) and theory of constraint (TOC) is presented. While the proposed three-tiered hierarchy construction model is relatively similar to WLC model, but the way in which the workloads are controled has changed dramatically. The order acceptance deals with issues of order review and delivery setting in order to balance the overall resource capacity and requirements that is necessary for on-time delivery. The order release deals with issues of release mechanisms and rules in order to control the flow of work to the production floor that is necessary for WIP and resource utilization.And the scheduling deals with issues of bottleneck identicification and task sequencing in order to protect the bottleneck capacity that is necessary for throughput.

Occupational health and safety is one of the efforts to improve hospital services, especially in terms of health and safety for human resources of hospital, patient, visitors, and the surrounding comunity. One the hazards sources associated with K3RS in the radiation hazard that is part of the physical hazard. The radiology installation of RS X uses ionizing radiation in its services process. The purpose in this researchis to analyze the implementation of safety and health of radiology installation. Design of observational research with qualitative approach. Population research all human resources radiology installation unit (two people). K3RS (one Person), informant triangulation medical services manager (one person). Data were collected by in depth interview and observation techniques. The results of the identification indicate the limitations of human resources training, facilities and infrastructure, budget realization and coordination. Implementation based on government regulations has been implemented, both from the number and standard of human resources education, as well as fascilities and infrastructure such as lead protection, calibration and completeness of personal protective equipment. Some things that have been set at the beginning of plannning can not be realized, such as budgets and coordination commitments. It is advisable to increase human resources training, prioritize budgets that have been included in the initial plan, complement of incomplete facilities and infrastucture, increase the realization of the established coordination commitments

Abstract:

Employee engagement improvement or engagement of Polri (Indonesian National Police) employees especially millennial generation or Y generation is very important and one of challenges for National Police organization. Millennial generation has different characteristic with the previous generation where millennial generation tends to have a flexible culture (difficult to control), adaptive leadership style, as well as very familiar with the use of technology so that they are more creative and innovative. This research aims to analyze the effect of authentic leadership, organizational culture on employee engagement of millennial generation in National Police planning function by the use of mediation variable, that is, internal communication. The research method which was used to test the hypothesis was Explanatory Survey Method, while the explanation of the relationship between variables was tested and analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). A number of 450 respondents who are Polri members in the plannning function with a background of millennial generation as the sample in this research. The result of the research explained that variables of authentic leadership and organizational culture gave positive effect on employee engagement either directly or by internal communication mediation. Furthermore, authentic leadership variable also had positive effect on organizational culture and internal communication. Based on this research result, it was determined that authentic leadership, organizational culture and internal communication could improve and support the employee engagement especially millennial employees in National Police planning function either directly or by internal communication mediation.

Abstrak:. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan metode inkuiri berbantuan video interaktif pada siswa kelas III SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setidap siklus setiap siklus dilaksanakan melalui 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Data tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara individu dan klasikal kemudian dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa kelas III SD mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini ditunjukkana danya hasil belajar siswa pada evaluasi mengacu pada kriteria keberhasilan yang sudah ditentukan yaitu 70. Nilai rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 82% pada mata pelajaran IPA. Dengan rincian pra siklus ketuntasan 46% dari 18 siswa yang telah mencapai keberhasilan dengan rata-rata 68, siklus I menjasi 56% dari 22 siswa yang telah mencapai keberhasilan dengan rata-rata 68, dan menjadi 82% pada siklus II dari 32 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan rata-rata 72. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri berbantuan video interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil bellajar siswa. Abstract: this study aims to see the improvement of science learning outcomes trought the aplications of inquiry learning method assisted interactive video in the third grade students of SD. Type of research used is clasroom acion research consisting of two cycles. Each cycles is implemented throught three stages of plannning, implementatio, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students SD. The data of this study were obtained throught observation and test. The data of students’ learning outcomes were analyzed based on the percentage of learning completeness individually an clasically then described descriptively. The result showed an increase in the percentage of student learning on SD. This is incated by the result of student learning on evaluation refers to succes criteria that have been determined that is 70. The average grade of students’ learning completeness in class has increased by 82% in science subjects. With pre-cycle completeness details if 44% off 18 students who have achieved succes with an average of 68%, cycle II of 32 students who achieve mastery learning with an average of 72. Assisted interactive video can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract:

Microimplants are widely used to provide absolute anchorage in cases with bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion especially in those that require simultaneous retraction and intrusion of anterior teeth. The position of the microimplant significantly affects the build up of stress in the alveolar bone as well as the incisor inclinations, and is therefore a critical factor in treatment plannning. Keeping this in mind, this finite element method(FEM) study was taken up to identify the most suitable combination of implant placement sites for cases in which en-masse anterior retraction is done along with intrusion. The geometric model was constructed from a CBCT scan of the maxilla of an adult patient with full permanent dentition.The images were saved as DICOM files and were later exported to the 3D image processing software (Mimics,version 17). The center of resistance for the 6 anterior teeth was 9 mm superiorly and 13.5 mm posteriorly from the midpoint of crown tip of central incisors. The working archwires were assumed to be 0.019 / 0.025-in stainless steel. The three mini-implant placement sites compared were – S1- Midline micro implant between the maxillary central incisors with two placed posteriorly between maxillary 2nd premolar 1st molar roots. S2 – Micro implant placed between the lateral incisor and canine along with posterior mini implants as above. S3- Micro implant placed high up between the maxillary second premolar and first molar roots. The amount of tooth displacement after finite element analysis was compared with central and lateral incisor and canine axis graphs. For the system S1, intrusive components were seen on the archwire mainly in the anterior region with maximum displacement between central incisors and gradually decreasing away from point of force application. In S2, the intrusive component of force was more evenly distributed. In S3, pattern of intrusive component was similar to S2 but the maximum displacement was slightly lower. Greatest value of minimal principal stress was seen on cervical and apical third of central incisors as well as apical third of lateral incisors in S1; and cervical third of lateral incisors and apical and cervical third of canines in S2. Maximum retraction of anterior teeth was seen in S3. In all of the three systems of force application, tooth inclinations were maintained. Maxillary anterior teeth showed more tendency towards retraction in the case where two micro implants were placed posteriorly high up above the roots of maxillary premolars and molars such that the force is directed diagonally having both horizontal and vertical components, and hence eliminating the need for anterior implants. Greater intrusion tendency was seen when implants were placed between the roots of maxillary central incisors.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Strategi Pemerintah Daerah khususnya dilingkungan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara yakni dengan mengacu pada tiga hal yang menjadi strategi pemerintah daerah yang tertuang dalam renstra yaitu (1). Meningkatkan kompetensi aparatur (2). Mengembangkan SOP dan SPM, (3). Meningkantkan sarana prasarana penunjang. Menunjukan masih sangat jauh dari harapan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan Sumber Daya Manusia yang sangat minim baik dari kualitas maupun kuantitasnya, penerapan SOP dan SPM yang tidak merata pada bagianbagian organisasi, serta tidak memadainya sarana prasarana penunjang pelayanan publik, utamanya pada IT seperti telekomunikasi maupun fax. Sehingga Pemerintah Daerah perlu meningkatkan pelatihan bimtek untuk pengembangan kompetensi aparatur, SOP dan SPM serta mengimplementasikan dalam kinerja pelayanan publik. Selain itu juga yang menjadi faktor yang menghambat strategi Pemerintah Daerah dalam meningkatkan kinerja pelayanan publik dilingkungan Sekretariat Daerah menunjukan bahwa Sumber Daya Manusia, Mutasi, maupun Anggaran sangatlah berpengaruh, hal ini dikarenakan Sumber Daya Manusia yang rendah, terjadi mutasi yang tidak sesuai dengan keahlian dan harus menyesuaikan lagi dengan lingkungan kerja yang baru, serta anggaran yang sangat minim sehingga tidak dapat mengakomodir segala sesuatu yang dibutuhkan dalam pelayanan publik.This research aims to know and describe the Strategy Of Local Government In Order To Increasing Perform Of Public Service In Environment Secretariat Local Regency of North Bolaang Mongondow and also to know and describe what factors that constraint the strategy of local government to increase perform of public service in that region by using phenomenologist approach in qualitative research, while in order to collect the data, this research use observation, interview, and documentation. The result of research show that the Strategy of Local Government Specifically In Environment Secretariat Local Regency of North Bolaang Mongondow consist of three points that become the strategy of local government that include in plannning strategy, they are (1). Increasing perform of apparatus (2) Develop SOP and SPM (3). Increasing medium and supporting medium. Those all show that still so far from expectation, this case prove by human resources that really minimum both quality and quantity, the implementation of SOP and SPM not balance in parts of organization, and also about the medium and supporting medium of public service are not equal, particularly in IT such as telecom and fax. So that is way, the government should increase training of technological guidance in order to develop competence of apparatus, SOP and SPM and also apply it in perform of public service. Besides that, factor that constraint the strategy of local government to increase perform of public service in that region show that human resources, mutation, and also budget is very influence, this case is because human resources is still minimum, mutation that not appropriate with skill and should adjust with new environment, while the minimum of budget makes it cannot accommodate something which is needed in public service.

Thus, it is necessary to elevate with bussiness such as restaurant and other services. The empowering community was undertaken for giving awareness to local community from management aspect and productive economic activity where the need to tourism are secondary need. With adequate facilities and keep cleanliness of the beach. It have opportunity to be tourism place that priority for local community as marine tourim site.
