Abstract:
A synopsis of Plazia Ruiz & Pav. (Onoserideae, Asteraceae) is presented, including the description of a new species, Plazia robinsonii M.O.Dillon & Sagást., from a locality c. 20 km west of Huamachuco, Department of La Libertad in northern Peru. It most closely resembles P. conferta Ruiz & Pav., a narrow endemic from central Peru some 450 km to the south; however, the latter species has larger leaves and smaller capitula. Plazia is a small genus of four species confined to the Andean Cordillera of Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. A distribution map of the four species, an illustration of the new species, a photograph of the holotype, and a key to species are provided.

Abstract:
Introduction/purpose: One of the key approaches to solving an entire class of modern plasma physics problems is the so-called "plasma approximation". The most general definition of the "plasma approximation" is a theoretical approach to the electric field calculation of a system of charges under the electric quasi-neutrality condition. The purpose of this paper is to compare the results of the numerical simulation of the kinetic processes of the quasi-neutral plasma bunch expansion to the analytical solution of a similar kinetic model but in the "plasma approximation". Methods: The given results are obtained by the methods of deterministic modeling based on the numerical solution of the system of Vlasov-Poisson equations. Results: The provided comparison of the analytical expressions for the solution of kinetic equations in the "plasma approximation" and the numerical solutions of the Vlasov-Poisson equations system convincingly show the limitations of the "plasma approximation" in some important cases of the considered problem of plasma formation decay. Conclusion: The theoretical results of this work are of great importance for understanding the shortcomings of the "plasma approximation", which can manifest themselves in practical applications of computational plasma physics.

Abstract:
Wildwood Plaza (Robin Winogrond, 2013) reclaims a tiny, residual forest fragment on the city’s edge, transforming it into a recreational space with the power to act as catalyst of the forest imagination. Due to the unique characteristics of forests our imagination has the ability to transform even the most mundane woods into a moving experience. Wildwood Plaza searches to reinterpret these characteristics to become not only rational recreational spaces, but ones in which the immersive, poetic character dominates the experience. The innovation of the project lies in the new interpretation of functional woodland clearings. The design language is one of reduction and simplicity. Not the forest has been designed but its void, the silence of the space has been given character, thus opening up the landscape qualities of the seemingly valueless forest fragment to the urban perception.

Abstract:

The circulation system is a vital linking infrastructure that connects various activities and uses land on an area and inside a building that considers functional, economic, flexibility and comfort aspects. The explanation of this theory emphasizes the uniqueness of the building itself. So that there are various shapes of buildings in an effort to adjust to environmental conditions, climate, and natural surroundings. As a result, the resulting building has a special shapeation in accordance with the idea of an architect.

Abstract:
Consumer demands for raw or unprocessed foods increased due to consumers’ awareness of the importance of a healthy life. However, searching alternative techniques instead of heat treatment is an important issue for the industry in order to enhance the microbiological quality. Non-thermal techniques are encouraged because of their effectiveness on the preservation of natural aroma, flavor and microbiological quality without causing any change in the structure of the product. Plasma technology is one of these alternative techniques. Plasma technology, known as the fourth state of matter, is known as the partial ionization of positive and negative ions, free radicals, charged particles and molecules in electron and photon form. Plasma is usually forms or formed by electric or electrical discharge or by a strong radiation effect. Plasma is classified according to its temperature, thermal equilibrium, and pressure. Cold plasma technique is used in foods for contaminated surfaces and cleaning of medical instruments. In this review, plasma technology applied to foods and their effects are presented.
