Abstract:
The Bodies’ Poetry: Eva Runefelt, Eva Ström and Swedish Poetry in the Late 1970’s In the mid 1970’s a new type of poetry, associated with the body, emerged in Sweden. Especially young women writers appeared to take Swedish poetry in new aesthetic directions, exploring questions regarding experience and language. This article focuses on two prominent writers, Eva Runefelt and Eva Ström, and discusses how their different types of poetry can be said to be a bodies’ poetry, and how it was discussed in contemporary literary critique. It also reflects on why this strand of poetry has been granted such a peripheral place in literary history.

I min avhandling Väntan. Etnografiskt kollage kring ett mellanrum (2009) låter jag välutbildade, medelålders storstadsbor berätta om sin väntan. Ett centralt tema i undersökningen visade sig vara informanternas längtan efter tillfällen för återhämtning, sprickor i tiden i vilka de kunde hitta tillbaka till det liv och till den själsliga närvaro som de upplevde sig ha förlorat i vardagens rutinartade stress. Berättelserna som jag fick till mig uttryckte inte sällan en närmast desperat avsaknad av andningshål för vila, kreativitet och självreflektion. I min undersökning kom väntan snart att artikulera sig som en metafor för vila, för vila och autenticitet i en modern storstadstillvaro i vilken görandet och imiterandet är centralt. I den här artikeln kommer jag att försöka iscensätta mellanrummets retorik så som den ofta presenterar sig i mitt avhandlingsmaterial. Artikelns titel anspelar på den positiva och nästintill poetiska ton som används i beskrivningarna av mellanrummet och hur det upplevs - eller borde upplevas. Retoriken framstår inte sällan som ett slags mellanrummets poesi.

Un régime thématique et formel apparaît en Europe au début du XVIIIe siècle; de même que pour les autres arts, dans l'édition des livres la tendance au monumental disparaît et cède la place au délicat et au petit, et progressivement illustrations, textes et lecteurs se fusionnent. Le changement décrit est très profond, même s'il ne prend pas la forme d'un séisme social. C'est plutôt l'effet d'une gradation complexe faite d'un processus d'évolution et d'un réalignement des sujets et des formes, que l'on constate dans des différentes publications: de l'Acajou et Zirphile de Duclos au Livre à la mode de Caraccioli, en passant par les nouvelles éditions des œuvres de La Fontaine ou Molière.

Poetry in the Age of the Arms Race: Ingrid Sjöstrand’s Poem “Otänkbart” (“Unthinkable”) on the NATO Rearmament Decisions of 1979 Within the popular movements poetry is used as a tool in the struggle for social and political change. The poetry cherished by the movements can thus be described as utilitarian, performing rhetorical functions in relevant contexts. The article deals with the poem “Otänkbart” (“Unthinkable”) by Ingrid Sjöstrand, which addresses a pertinent social problem from the perspective of the peace movement. The poem was published in Dagens Nyheter, Sweden’s largest daily newspaper, on 28 December, 1979. It is a response to the NATO decision made at a summit conference in Brussels on 12 December of that year to deploy nuclear weapons in Europe. A theoretical basis for the analysis is provided by Ron Eyerman and Andrew Jamison’s cognitive approach to social movements. In my study, I consider “Unthinkable” as part of the peace movement’s cognitive practice, exploring the explanation of the arms race formulated in the poem. I also investigate the relationship of the poem to articles published in Dagens Nyheter in December 1979 concerning the NATO decision, as well as to other texts dealing with related themes. Further, I scrutinize the poem’s uses of rhetorical devices and strategies to convince the reader to adopt the peace movement’s position on the issue and to create commitment and readiness to act. The analysis shows that “Unthinkable” was clearly a part of the peace movement’s knowledge production concerning the causes and consequences of the arms race, and of the movement’s values and alternative strategies for action. Structurally, “Unthinkable” offers creative opportunities for committed reception.

Poesi är en konstform med få regler och fria ramar. Mjukvarukonstruktionär, tvärtemot poesin, baserat på ett rigoröst ramverk med strikta förhållningsregler. Här utforskas möjligheten att kombinera dessa discipliner och generera poesi med hjälp av mjukvara. Uppsatsen beskriver hur naturligt språk kan genereras och hur det genererade språket kan bilda poetiska texter med hjälp av kontexter och grammatiska regler. Det estetiska värdet på den genererade poesin undersöks utifrån en objektiv bedömning som sedan jämförs med en läsares subjektiva uppfattning. Undersökningen indikerar att en objektiv bedömning baserad på frekvensen av ordföljder inte motsvarar en subjektiv bedöming utförd av en testgrupp på bästa sätt. Mjukvaran genererar dock poetisk text på ett tillfredställande sätt.
Poetry is an art form with few rules and wide frames. Software engineering is, contrary to poetry, based on a rigorous framework with strict rules of conduct. Here the possibility of combining these disciplines and generate poetry using software is explored. The paper describes how natural language can be generated and how the generated language can form poetic texts using contexts and grammatical rules. The aesthetic value of the generated poetry is examined from an objective assessment which is then compared with a reader’s subjective perception. The survey indicates that an objective assessment based on frequency of words do not match the subjective perception of a test group in the best way. However, the software generates poetic texts in a satisfactory manner.

Abstract:
Denna litteraturstudie kommer att behandla olika attityder till poesi samt hur poesiundervisning kan utveckla elevers språkmedvetenhet. I grundskolans undervisning tycks det vara så att poesi inte tillåts ta lika mycket plats som andra texttyper, något som troligen kommer sig av att lärare och elevers attityder till genren. Vi har därför valt att studera lärare och elevers attityder till poesi i skolan och om dessa attityder eventuellt medverkar till hur undervisningen i svenska utformas samt om poesi tilltalar elever och om den kan sägas bidra till deras läs- och skrivutveckling. Källurvalet i denna litteraturstudie består av tidskriftsartiklar och en rapport. Materialet är funnet med hjälp av internetbaserade söktjänster och har sedan analyserats, kategoriserats och bearbetats. I resultatet besvaras följande frågeställningar: Vilka attityder till poesi framträder hos lärare och elever i grundskolans tidigare år? Vad kan poesi i svenskundervisning för åren F-3 bidra med att utveckla för förmågor? Resultatet visar att språkmedvetenhet, elevers kreativitet och uttryck samt den egna identiteten kan utvecklas centrala utvecklingsmöjligheter hos elever som får ta del av poesi i undervisningen i svenska. Vår egna analys av resultatet är att lärares olika attityder kring poesin samt deras osäkerhet inför genren gör att de ofta avstår från att undervisa i ämnet vilket medför en fortsatt okunskap om vad poesi innebär för individen. Anläggs ett genusperspektiv på poesiläsning under grundskolans tidigare år visar det sig att även om pojkar anses ha en negativ inställning till poesi, ställer de sig positiva till arbetet när undervisningen är genomtänkt. Vidare visar resultatet att elever har en positiv inställning till att läsa och skriva poesi när de får uttrycka sig fritt och använda sig av sina egna erfarenheter, tankar och känslor.

Detta arbete handlar om poesi i svenskundervisningen för högstadiets årskurs 7-9. I avsnittet om tidigare forskning redogörs för studier om lektionsplaneringar, barns och ungas läsning av prosa och poesi, samt vilka effekter datoranvändning och digitala redskap har på skolungdomars inställning till poesi. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för detta examensarbete är praktikarkitekturteorin, vilken även har kommit att prägla det analysverktyg som använts för analys av det insamlade materialet. I resultatsavsnittet presenteras sedan empirin som undersökts, vilket i senare avsnitt kommer att diskuteras och jämföras mot bakgrund av tidigare forskning. Slutligen kommer metoden och didaktiska konsekvenser att diskuteras. Syftet med denna studie är att genom analyser av lektionsplaneringar undersöka hur svensklärare arbetar med poesi i undervisningspraktiken. Genom att ta del av lärares lektionsplaneringar avsåg jag att undersöka hur poesiundervisningen inom svenskämnet förårskurs 7-9 utförs och vilka kunskaper lärarna vill utveckla hos sina elever. För att ta nå syftet har jag utgått från en del frågeställningar som berör vad som påverkat lärarna i planeringen, vilka redskap som använts i undervisningen, vilka förmågor som lärare vill att elever ska utveckla, samt vilken sorts poesi eleverna får ta del av. Den metod som har använts är kvalitativ textanalys. Utifrån den valda metoden harfrågeställningarna utformats, och empirin diskuteras i senare avsnitt utifrån de textanalytiska dimensioner som redogörs för i kvalitativ textanalys. Fortsättningsvis så harfrågeställningarna besvarats genom att materialet analyserats och kategoriserats i en tabell som är utformad efter praktikarkitekturteorins olika arrangemang: de materiella-ekonomiska arrangemangen som antingen möjliggör eller hindrar utförandet av undervisningspraktiken, de social-politiska arrangemangen som beskriver relationerna mellan människor och människor och material, samt de kulturella-diskursiva arrangemangen som präglar språket inom praktiken.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka Rupi Kaurs diktsamling milk and honey utifrån samspelet mellan bild och text. Rupi Kaur utnyttjar bildmediet i kombination med text, vilket leder till en särpräglad och utmärkande stil. 20 dikter med illustrationer valdes ut som material för studien. Materialet analyserades med hjälp av både lyrikanalys efter boken Lyrikens liv av Janss et al. samt Skåreus metod bildsemiotik som diskursanalys. Resultaten visade att bilderna och texterna är beroende av varandra, då många av de bildsatta texterna inte innehöll bildspråk eller metaforer i någon större utsträckning. Bilderna lyfter Kaurs texter och styr i viss mån tolkningen av texten. Rebecca Watts har kritiserat Kaur eftersom hon tycker att Kaurs poesi är "artless" och saknar finess. Watts missar dock Kaurs bilder i sin analys vilket gör att hon utelämnar halva dikten, eftersom Kaurs bilder måste ses som en enhet med både text och bild.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur lågstadielärares attityd gentemot litteraturgenren poesi såg ut och hur viktigt verksamma lärare anser att poesi är som texttyp i årskurserna 1-3. Frågeställningarna jag har arbetat utifrån är: Hur ser lärare på användningen av poetiska texter i undervisningen? Påverkas lärarnas undervisning av deras egna erfarenheter och det egna personliga intresset till poesi? Anser lärarna att de har tillräckliga kunskaper i poesi för att kunna undervisa i genren? Studien genomfördes genom kvalitativa intervjuer med sex lärare i årskurserna 1-3 på fem olika grundskolor. Resultatet visade att poesi får ta en marginell plats i undervisningen i jämförelse mot andra litteraturgenrer. Lärarna upplever att det är roligt att arbeta med poesi tillsammans med eleverna men tycker många gånger det är svårt, både för dem själva och för eleverna. Lärarnas eget intresse för litteraturgenren är svagt och diktböcker är något som sällan används i klassrummet.
The aim of this study was to examine the attitude towards the literature genre of poetry among primary school teachers, and how important they consider the genre to be in grades 1-3. The questions underlying the study are: What is the teacher’s opinion on using poetry in teaching? Do the teacher’s own experiences and personal interest in poetry affect their teaching? Do the teachers consider that they have sufficient knowledge to teach within the genre?   The study was conducted through qualitative interviews with six teachers, teaching in grade 1-3 on five different primary schools. The result of the study showed that poetry takes a marginal place in teaching compared to other types of literature genres. Teachers enjoy working with poetry with the pupils but often find it difficult both for themselves and for the pupils. The teachers’ own interest in the literature genre is weak and poetry books are rarely used in the classroom.

Abstract:
The dissertation examines how medieval poetic tradition was reactivated in the production of poetry from the period between the two world wars—the Polish interwar period, defined here as one of literary transition. The positioning in regard to certain literary conventions and the quest for a new normativity that is so prevalent in interwar poetry is also reflected in the era’s poetry on the theme of Mary. Marian lyrics, owing to their strong position in Polish literature (but also by dint of their role in Polish piety and national identity), serve as an indicator in identifying and defining certain poetic processes. Central to this are the respective relationships of Marian themes to tradition and to the poetic norms of the era: is a given poem located along the traditional axis (if so, which), does it run counter to it, or is it an innovation? The poems analysed—Julian Przyboś’ Heavenly Blue, Jerzy Liebert’s Litany to the Virgin Mary, Tytus Czyżewski’s De profundis, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska’s The Black Portrait, Józef Czechowicz’ pious rhymes—represent disparate poetic models: the Krakow Avant-garde, Catholic literature, formism/futurism, the circle of Skamander, the Poetics of the Third Sphere in the Second Avant-garde. Reflected here is the broad spectrum of the period’s poetic trends, tendencies, and constellations—as are the historical and literary events of the era. Despite important differences in the poetic/aesthetic models, in these poems it is possible to identify shared characteristics relevant to this study, that is, elements of medieval poetry. The identifying criterion for these elements here is the concept of dogmatic formal language. In the poems medieval poetics are transformed into their own modern form and integrated into the respective poetic models. No other literary epoch offers what the poets are seeking better than poetic formal language modelled on medieval liturgical language. The five poets all participate in what has been called the interwar paradigm shift in Polish poetry—a parameter that only indirectly relates to modernism. The term high modernism (in the sense of the culmination of Polish poetic modernism) can serve to summarize the historical and literary delimitations and definitions in the study. As interwar poetry is indeed part of the definitive emergence and full expansion of modernism in Polish literature, serving as a link between tradition and innovation, such a study of the influence of high modernism and Marian lyrics on each other aspires to reflect general processes in the poetry of the time.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka lärares kollektiva lärande. Genom fenomenografiska grundidéer kring lärandeapsekter och kvalitativa skillnader i lärandet analyseras lärares interaktiva samtal. Uppsatsens frågeställningar är: Vilka lärandeaspekter synliggörs i respondenternas interaktiva samtal? Vilka kvalitativa variatiaoner att närma sigl ärandet synliggörs i samtalen. Vilka möjliga relationella förhållanden synliggörs i det kollektiva lärandet mellan lärandeaspekter, kvalitativa variationer och teorin om meningsskapande? I uppsatsens används en fenomenografisk ansats där lärandeapsekter och kvalitativa skillnader i lärande fördjupas med hjälp av teorier om meningsskapande. Resultatanalysen visar och beskriver lärandeaspekterna ’vad’ och ’hur’. Sammanställningen visar att lärandeaspekterna i det interaktiva samtalet kan betraktas utifrån perspektivet inom och bortom innehållet. Respondenternas fyra kvalitativt varierande sätt att erfara lärandet prövas mot hållpunkter sprunga ur teorin om meningsskapande. Sammanställningen visar då att begrepp från teorin som ongoing, retrospective sense och plausiblity skulle kunna tänkas sammanfalla med den fenomenografiska analysen och synliggörandet av den. Begreppen förenklar och skapar medvetenhet om det fenomen som studeras och underlättar på så sätt praktisk och teoretisk tillämpning. Teoretiska hållpunkter inom meningsskapande som the change poet, sharebility constraints och engagemangshållning och förmågan att tolka stärker och argumenterar för det faktum att de kvalitativa variationerna som studien synliggör stämmer överens med metodansats och resultatanalys. Genom att studera den kollektiva sammanställningen gällande lärandeaspekter och kvalitativa variationer kontra den indivuella förändringsagenten, the change poet, konstateras att förändringspoeten stimulerar förändring mellan kvalitativa skilda sätt att erfara. Detta innebär, utifrån fenomenografins utgångspunkt, ett lärande. Slutsatsen kan därför dras att förändringspoeten också kan benämnas ’lärandepoet’ eftersom de innehar samma förändringsmotiverande förmågor, egenskaper och komponenter. Lärandets poesi uppstår när multipla lärandepoeter med varierande förändringsmotiverandeförmågor, egenskaper och komponenter, som med varierande dominanta ställningstaganden tillsammans skapar ett samtalsflöde i rörelse, ett flöde som innefattar samtliga delar i den meningsskapande processen men också innefattas av varierande kvalitativa sätt att närma sig lärandet.

Abstract:
Den här uppsatsen handlar om Kristina Lugns poesi, de kvinnokroppar som befolkar hennes dikter och hur deras agerande kan läsas utifrån grotesk och queer teori. Jag skapar en queerfeministisk figuration, döper henne till Den kvinnliga grotesken och låter henne ta kropp i dikterna. Hon spinner trådar mellan teorierna, dikterna och yttervärlden. Metoden jag använder mig av är tematisk närläsning, med en bas av situerad kunskap enligt Donna Haraway. Med hjälp av de redskapen delar jag upp materialet i fyra tematiska delar; den stympade kroppen, den läckande kroppen, den trånande kroppen, och den djuriska kroppen. Mitt syfte är att utifrån grotesk och queer teori läsa hur kvinnokropparna i Kristina Lugns poesi agerar, och undersöka om agerandet representerar strategier för frigörelse från normativ kvinnlighet.
This essay concerns itself with the poetry of Kristina Lugn, the female bodies that inhabit her poems, and how their behaviour can be interpreted via grotesque and queer theory. Within, I create a queer-feminist figuration, I name her The female grotesque and finally let her corporealise in the poems. She spins threads between the different bodies of theory, the poems and society. The method is thematic close-reading, with a base of situated knowledge according to Donna Haraway. Using these tools I split up the material into four distinct thematical parts; the mutilated body, the leaking body, the yearning body and the animal body. My aim is to employ grotesque and queer theories in a reading of the female bodies in Kristina Lugns poetry and investigate whether their actions can be seen as representative of strategies for liberation from normative femininity.

Il contributo presenta le iniziative maturate all’interno del Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia dell’Università di Firenze in occasione del settimo centenario della morte di Dante. In particolare si sofferma su due iniziative: dapprima l’ampio ciclo di conferenze Dante e i poeti italiani del Novecento, dedicato al vario rapporto intrattenuto da venti poetesse e poeti del secolo scorso con la poesia dell’Alighieri; quindi la mostra Onorevole e antico cittadino di Firenze. Il Bargello per Dante, ospitata nelle sale del Museo del Bargello, che ricostruisce le modalità con cui Firenze, pochi anni dopo la morte di Dante, si riappropriò della memoria e della figura del poeta, dando vita a un profondo processo di rielaborazione della memoria: esso culmina con la consacrazione dell’Alighieri dovuta a Giovanni Boccaccio e ha ricadute decisive per la storia della letteratura e della cultura italiana, cioè del modo in cui ancora oggi si guarda a Dante e si legge la Commedia. All’interno di questo percorso di riappropriazione un aspetto rilevante è quello che riguarda le prime traduzioni dai classici latini, che intrattengono con la Commedia un rapporto privilegiato e complesso.

Este artigo oferece aos seus leitores uma “panorâmica” sobre a trajetória de Código - publicação independente, editada e publicada em Salvador (Bahia – Brasil), do ano de 1974 até o ano de 1990 do século XX, pelo engenheiro, poeta e estudioso da literatura mineiro Erthos Albino de Souza. Código funcionou como um pequeno fórum sobre poesia e literatura experimentais - mormente aquelas que surgiram a partir dos desdobramentos diretos do Movimento da Poesia Concreta, tornando-se uma das responsáveis pela sobrevivência e pela assimilação desse legado teórico-estético por toda uma geração de jovens criadores. Crossref, DataCite, and ORCID work together to provide foundational open infrastructure that is integral to the global research ecosystem. We offer unique, persistent identifiers (PIDs) — Crossref and DataCite DOIs for research outputs and ORCID iDs for people — alongside collecting comprehensive, open metadata that is non-proprietary, accessible, interoperable, and available across borders, disciplines, and time. As sustainable community-driven scholarly infrastructure providers ORCID, Crossref and Datacite, guarantee data provenance and machine-readability. Persistent identifiers combined with open, standardized, and machine-readable metadata enable reliable and robust connections to be made between research outputs, organizations, individuals, and much more, as well as being beneficial to others who build services and tools on top of the open infrastructure we provide making content more discoverable. In this webinar we discuss: - Who we are - What we mean by Open Scholarly Infrastructure - How our organizations work together for the benefit of the scholarly community - How the Principles of Open Scholarly Infrastructure (POSI) help to build trust and accountability as well as ensure we are around for the long term. This is the first of the joint webinar series co-organized by Crossref, DataCite, and ORCID for the Open Science community in the APAC region.
