Light in Iannis Xenakis’s work is poetic, dramatic, emotional, and powerful. Xenakis not only created a new aesthetic of light art, but also projected a future direction for the role of light in art. The Shape of Light, as a study of the form of digital light, presents visual music for the compositions Mikka (1971) and Mikka ‘S (1976). Two versions of our work are presented and compared: a pre-recorded and a live performance.

The general principles of text material classification are considered and a version of the language entry (perceptual image "music") is proposed.
