We have observed the variation of the magnetic saturation, and Curie temperature (TC) in samples of the poly(3-hexylthiophene) doped with ClO-4 isostatically pressed. We attribute this behaviorto the continuous variation of the interchain interaction induced by different pressures used during the sample preparation. We believe that the pressure induces an increase in exchange interaction interchains because of the reduction of the distance interchain, contributing to the increase in the ferromagnetic behavior observed in the samples.

The effects of polarons on the stability of ferromagnetic state in doped quasi-one-dimensional non-conjugated organic ferromagnets are investigated. It is shown that spin density wave of doped main chain near the polaron appears amplitude distortion which changes the stability of the ferromagnetic state. If the spins of polarons along the main chain are contrary to those of side radicals' electrons, the stability of the ferromagnetic state will be strengthened. Under the opposite condition, the stability will be weakened.

We discuss possible models for describing the metal-insulator phase transition coupled with paramagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transition in manganites. We argue that current models have apparent drawbacks. As a way to explain experiments we introduce the magnetic (large) polaron model. In this model, the conductivity appears as a result of percolative overlapping of magnetic polarons which coexist with small (Jahn-Teller) polarons. We compare this model with the experimental data.

We study the ferromagnetic ground state of the theoretical model proposed for quasi-one-dimensional organic polymer ferromagnets by using the density matrix renormalization group method. We find that the chain–radical interaction, the on-site electron–electron repulsion, and the electron–phonon coupling play important roles in the stability of the ferromagnetic state, whether in doped systems or not. We are convinced that when the system is doped by one electron, a polaron appears, diminishing the stability of the high-spin state.PACS No.: 75.10.Jm

Abstract:
We study the energetic stability of the self-trapped magnetic polaron in an antiferromagnetic lattice of localized spins, including the effects of the intra-sublattice hopping which allows electron transfer within the same magnetic sublattice. The model consists of an itinerant electron moving in a one-dimensional antiferromagnetic lattice of localized spins. In addition to the first and the second neighbor electron hopping, terms describing the superexchange between the localized spins as well as the Hund's-rule coupling between the electron and the localized spins are included in the model H

Abstract:
We use Raman scattering to investigate magnetic polarons and spin-carrier interaction effects in the (Eu,Gd)O system. Raman scattering studies reveal great richness in the phase behavior of this system: a spin-fluctuation-dominated paramagnetic (PM) phase regime for T > T* > TC, a two-phase regime for T < T* in which magnetic polarons develop below T* and coexist with a remnant of the PM phase, and an inhomogeneous ferromagnetic phase regime for T < TC. We will discuss how these phase regimes evolve as functions of magnetic field, temperature, and Gd-substitution, and will compare

Abstract:
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the modifications in electronic structure and magnetism resulting from electronic excitation in pulsed laser-deposited Ba0.7Sr0.3FexTi(1−x)O3 thin films, specifically for compositions with x = 0, 0.1, and 0.2. To investigate the effects of electronic energy loss (Se) within the lattice, we performed 120 MeV Ag ion irradiation at varying fluences (1 × 1012 ions/cm2 and 5 × 1012 ions/cm2) and compared the results with those of the pristine sample. The Se induces lattice damage by generating ion tracks along its trajectory, which subsequently leads

In this work, we continued the study of the magnetic and electrical properties of the double perovskite La1.2Sr1.8Mn2O7, which has a colossal magnetoresistance in excess of 1200 near the Curie temperature. It is shown that the colossal magnetoresistance observed in La1.2Sr1.8Mn2O7 is well described on the basis of the “orientational” and “spin-polaron” conduction mechanisms. It was found in the work that in the absence of a magnetic field, the linear size of the spin polaron decreases with increasing temperature in the ferromagnetic region, and upon the transition of manganite to the paramagne
