Abstract:

Communication of the leaders of Polish political parties in social media during the full election cycle 2014–2015This paper presents the results of research on the communication of relevant leaders in the years 2014–2015, during the campaign period before the four elections: to the European Parliament, local, parliamentary and presidential. Quantitative and qualitative research deals with the communication of Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Donald Tusk, Ewa Kopacz, Janusz Piechocinski, Leszek Miller, Janusz Korwin-Mikke, Ryszard Petru and Paweł Kukiz. The analysis is mainly focused on communication of party leaders on Facebook and Twitter. The research described in this article is not only a political party leader’s communication analysis but also a comparative material for further research into political actors’ communication.

Abstract:

Celem poniższego artykułu jest przedstawienie sposobu opisu stanu pomniejszych kultur Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej w filmach Cristiana Mungiu. Rozważania te zostały oparte o pojęcia <em>okrutnego optymizmu </em>oraz <em>impasu</em> autorstwa Lauren Berlant. Analizie poddano filmy <em>4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days</em> (2007), <em>Beyond the Hills </em>(2012) oraz <em>Graduation</em> (2016). Pod uwagę wzięto w szczególności strukturę narracyjną wspomnianych dzieł, płeć bohaterów, uwarunkowania społeczno-ekonomiczne wpływające na ich byt, a także poetykę mediów audio-wizualnych prezentowaną w zakończeniach filmów. Autor argumentuje, że filmy Mungiu stanowią krytykę mapowania wyobrażeniowego na terenach Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej zapoczątkowanego w czasach zimnej wojny, która prezentuje narody zamieszkujące te tereny jako skazane na nieustanne przebywanie w stanie zagrożenia, a co za tym idzie, niewygasającą potrzebę obrony, co naraża je na przeżywanie nieuniknionych cykli politycznych nadużyć. Propozycja rozwiązania przedstawiona jest w powolnych, skłaniających do przemyśleń zakończeniach filmów. Wskazują one na rozwój sytuacji politycznego zawieszenia, która jako zakłócenie statusu quo może pozwolić wyobraźniom politycznym na stworzenie rozwiązań bardziej kreatywnych, pozwalających uniknąć wspomnianych cykli. Przerwa ta wiąże się z pamięcią wydarzeń roku 1989, a także historyczną otwartością, która emergowała w owym czasie. Jako polityczny paradygmat kultur środkowo-wschodnioeuropejskich, zawieszenie jest strategią, która pozwala na zmianę postawy wyobrażeniowej wobec początku roku 1989.

Abstract:

Cílem textu je hodnocení plánovaného projektu kulturního klastru Černá louka na území města Ostravy. Pro potřeby hodnocení byl využit koncept urbánní governance, politických cyklů a kulturou tažené regenerace. Projekt kulturního klastru byl „vlajkovým“ projektem neúspěšné kandidatury města na titul Evropské hlavní město kultury 2015 a vzhledem ke svému rozsahu a zaměření nepochybně představoval jednu z největších výzev pro město v jeho novodobých dějinách. Z povahy projektu vyplývá společenská relevance pro předložený text, a to i přesto, že projekt nebyl úspěšný, skýtá řadu implikací pro porozumění budoucího rozvoje nejen města Ostravy, ale i dalších měst s podobnou historií v post-socialistickém kontextu.

Abstract:

Political boundaries represent a universal phenomenon and key element by which social and economic phenomena existing across space are structured. But both the presence and the nature (role, function, etc.) of borders are seen to vary temporally and spatially, with differentiated attendant consequences for socio-economic development. The present article relates to state borders, which separate certain areas off from others, while at the same time constituting meeting points and points of contact between them. While this would hold true whether we perceive the said borders as lines, areas or zones, the modern-day approach to borders is a multi-dimensional one that treats them as socio-spatial constructs revealing and articulating differentiation that truly exists. It is possible to note two opposing cause-and-effect processes here. On the one hand, there are different divisions and boundaries between many socio-economic and even natural phenomena that sanction the existence and locations of borders; while on the other the very existence of state borders establishes or reinforces the existence of other, new divisions that can be regarded as boundaries (even as they are not now necessarily state borders as such). I trust that this argumentation helps capture the essence of the geography present in considerations of boundaries and borders; as well as its changing but ever-important role, while at the same time generating opportunities for further research, and for the ongoing observation of the diverse processes linking up with the existence of borders. Variability and change of function would seem to offer a key to the understanding of the significances of borders and the influences they exert, as regards the border landscape, neighbourly (international) relations and phenomena of a socio-economic nature. In that light, four functions for borders are in fact proposed here – as barriers, peripheries, lines of differentiation and axes of integration. Each change has knock-on implications for transformations of function in regard to both borders as such and the areas adjacent to them. Thus, by making assumptions as to the fundamental aspects characterising variations in the nature of borders, it has been possible here to come up with proposals regarding the consequences these will bring with them. And even as a process whereby a border opens up is underway and integration is ensuing, it is still possible that change as a whole will falter or even stall, should issues arise locally (e.g. through conflict or other negative events), nationally (e.g. through unilateral or bilateral severing of agreements), or globally (e.g. thanks to external threat, a desire to protect domestic markets or a migration crisis). For these reasons, geopolitical considerations will always reign supreme over other borderland phenomena, determining directions of development and possibilities for borders (and adjacent areas) to function. In that light, this article stresses the still-relevant need for borders, borderlands and relevant ongoing processes to be made subject to theoretical conceptualisation and processing. And this would be true as regards, not only the spatial extent or scope of borderland areas, but also the changing conditioning, consequences and actions. In this, a challenge that continues to be present entails the founding of theoretical concepts for the borderland that draw on selected paradigms and stress the role and importance of border and borderland geography, along with its key subjects of interest. And, where the study of borders being pursued in Poland is concerned, it needs to be hoped that a new trajectory may be found and followed, with each conceptualisation exerting a summarising or theorising impact proving of value as form is given to a full new theory for the development of borders and borderlands in Poland and its neighbouring countries, with account taken, not merely of recent decades, but of a much longer time period.

Abstract:

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę przestrzeni turystycznej zarówno w ujęciu subiektywnym (indywidualnym, percepcyjnym), jak i obiektywnym (z punktu widzenia miejsca obszaru jej występowania). Omówiono także typy przestrzeni turystycznej ze względu na zajmowane terytorium oraz w układzie dynamicznym, traktując je jako możliwe fazy rozwoju ogólnej przestrzeni turystycznej. Efektem jest zaproponowany cykl rozwoju przestrzeni turystycznej. Ponadto scharakteryzowano rolę różnych grup „aktorów” przestrzeni turystycznej oraz determinanty jej organizacji i funkcjonowania. Zaproponowano również model postępowania badawczego zmierzającego do pełnej charakterystyki przestrzeni turystycznej.

Abstract:

Vážení čtenáři, milé kolegyně a kolegové, přátelé celoživotního vzdělávání, právě jste otevřeli první číslo časopisu Lifelong Learning – Celoživotní vzdělávání vydané v roce 2020, tedy v roce, který si budeme jistě všichni ještě dlouho pamatovat. Myslím si, že obsah tohoto čísla je velice zajímavý. Mohu říci, že jsme si na jeho přípravě dali záležet, ale nebylo jednoduché jej vzhledem k dramatickým událostem letošního jara sestavit. Číslo 1 / 2020 je polytematické a obsahuje tři studie, jeden diskusní příspěvek, zprávu z konference a recenzi odborné publikace. O jakých konkrétních tématech se tedy vlastně dočtete? Teoretická studie Martina Kopeckého z Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy navazuje (řečeno jeho slovy) na bohatou diskusi o smyslu celoživotního vzdělávání a učení, která je v politické, praktické i akademické sféře vedena v souvislosti s přístupy mezinárodních organizací. Autor se ve svém příspěvku snaží rekonstruovat myšlenky Jana Amose Komenského s cílem využít jich jako zdroje pro inspiraci v současné době změn a krizí globalizovaného světa. Ve své studii kontextuálně propojuje myšlenky tohoto velikána pedagogiky se vzdělávací politikou UNESCO a její obsah je skutečně inspirativní. Kolegyně Bohdana Richterová a Hana Kubíčková z Pedagogické fakulty Ostravské univerzity reflektují ve své studii jedno z témat cyklů participačního akčního výzkumu na příkladu roční spolupráce skupiny dvanácti pedagogů z ostravských základních škol a dvou akademických pracovnic Ostravské univerzity. Přínosem této studie je identifikace základních limitů a možností vzájemné spolupráce, sdílení zkušeností z problémových situací v praxi pedagogického prostředí a také nástin možností rozvoje sebereflexe a zdravého sebeprosazení jednotlivých aktérů. Velmi zajímavý příspěvek zaslali kolegové z Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity, konkrétně Jiří Zounek, Klára Záleská a Libor Juhaňák z Ústavu pedagogických věd. Jejich studie se zabývá tím, jak je ve školské politice tří evropských zemí (Česko, Slovensko, Polsko) formulována problematika ICT, a současně nahlíží na školskou realitu – tedy na skutečné vnímání a využívání digitálních technologií učiteli při práci. Autoři při zpracování příspěvku vycházeli z výsledků tří mezinárodních srovnávacích výzkumů. Diskusní příspěvek Kamila Janiše ml. z Fakulty veřejných politik Slezské univerzity v Opavě se zabývá zajímavým tématem, které se týká volného času. Přináší zde téma tzv. polovolného a antivolného času a zabývá se jím s ohledem na populaci seniorů. Zatímco většině z nás jsou dobře známy pojmy „volný čas“ nebo „volnočasové aktivity“, pojmy „polovolný čas“ a „antivolný čas“ jsou dosud využívány spíše úzkou skupinou odborníků. I proto bude určitě zajímavé si tento diskusní příspěvek prostudovat včetně závěrečných otázek a polemik. Součástí prvního letošního čísla je také recenze odborné publikace nazvané Andragogické aspekty využívania voľného času. Autor recenze Michal Koricina z Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre oceňuje zejména komplexnost obsahu publikace, především s ohledem na teoretická východiska pro různorodou kulturně-výchovnou práci a také na potřebnost obohacení portfolia odborných publikací pro pracovníky v oblasti kulturněosvětové andragogiky, zaměřených na tuto problematiku. V roce 2019 si na Slovenské polnohospodárské univerzitě v Nitře připomněli 55 let pedagogického vzdělávání prostřednictvím mezinárodní vědecké konference pod názvem Universitas Moderna. Je nám ctí, že můžeme na stránkách našeho časopisu uveřejnit stať kolegyně Timeí Šeben Zaťkové z tamějšího Centra pedagogiky a psychologického poradenství, ve které shrnuje nejpodstatnější informace o této události včetně zajímavých a inspirativních závěrů.
