Syftet med studien var att studera polisens övning POLKON HT2020 och hur övningen kunde förstås utifrån den kunskap som finns om pågående dödligt våld. Vidare syftade studien till att ta reda på hur kunskapen och analysen av övningen kunde användas för att planera framtida övningar. Materialet som användes i studien bestod av polisens material från övningen POLKON HT2020 som genomfördes hösten 2020 i Jönköping. Reconstruction results attempt to rebuild polygons from visibility information. Reconstruction of a general polygon from its visibility graph is still open and only known to be in PSPACE; thus additional information, such as the ordering of the edges around nodes that corresponds to the order of the visibilities around vertices is frequently added. The first section of this thesis extracts, in o(E) time, the Hamiltonian cycle that corresponds to the boundary of the polygon from the polygon's ordered visibility graph. Many condensed matter problems involve a particle coupled to its environment. The polaron, originally introduced to describe electrons in a polarizable medium, describes a particle coupled to a bosonic field. The Holstein polaron model, although simple, including only optical Einstein phonons and an interaction that couples them to the electron density, captures almost all of the standard polaronic properties. We herein investigate polarons that differ significantly from this behaviour. We study a model with phonon-modulated hopping, and find a radically different behaviour at strong couplings
