The aim of this article was to analyse the correlation of emission intensity of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and carbon dioxide in various conditions of operation of the automotive internal combustion engine. The operational properties of the engine were investigated on chassis dynamometer in driving test cycles simulating various real-world conditions of the vehicle drive: street congestions, urban traffic without congestions, extra-urban traffic, and high-speed traffic. Recently, concern for a rapid increase in heavy metal pollutants released by railway transport has been expressed. Most of pollutant emissions from combustion processes are related to fuel consumption in the internal combustion engines of traction rolling stock. The main pollutants released into the environment cover particulate matter, volatile non-methane organic compounds, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. In this way, it is likely that the biggest polluters of the environment are traction units with internal combustion engines. However, other types of pollution are possible, where pollu

In 14 places of the streets in Žirmūnai three types of cars were counted (lights, medium, heavy) and with COPERT program maximal emissions of CO, NOx, CHx, SO2 were fixed. Using

Exopolymeric substances (EPS) from various marine microbes are one of the major sources for marine microgels. Due to their amphiphilic nature, many types of pollutants, especially hydrophobic ones, have been found to preferentially associate with marine microgels.
