Abstract:
ABSTRACT Vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery (VAVD) is used to expedite vaginal delivery in cases of an arrest of descent, maternal exhaustion, or concern for fetal well-being. In 2015, the rate of VAVD was greater than the use of forceps in the United States (2.58% vs 0.56%). Several studies have examined various characteristics of vacuum devices, such as cup shape and material, number of pulls, and number of pop-ups, which is defined as the spontaneous dislodgment of the cup from the fetal scalp. Vacuum manufacturers, such as Kiwi and Mityvac, recommend abandoning VAVD as an intervention after 2 or 3 pop-offs; however, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists acknowledges that there are not enough data to recommend guidelines on how many pop-offs should be allowed before discontinuing. Some studies have demonstrated an increased risk of adverse neonatal outcomes with any number of pop-offs versus no pop-offs, whereas other studies have shown no independent association between the number of pop-offs and neonatal head injury. In addition, compared with an increase in the number of pop-offs, a large multicenter study found that increased duration of VAVD has a stronger association with adverse outcomes. The aim of this study was to examine the association between the number of pop-offs and adverse neonatal outcomes. This was a retrospective cohort study conducted at a single tertiary care institution from October 1, 2005, to June 1, 2014. Data were collected from electronic medical records. Included were adult women with singleton pregnancies who delivered via VAVD or a trial of VAVD followed by cesarean delivery. Excluded were those who underwent sequential trials of both vacuum and forceps. Institutional policy recommended converting to cesarean delivery after >3 pop-offs, but the decision was left to the discretion of the physician. The primary outcome was a composite of severe adverse neonatal outcome, including brachial plexus injury, intracranial hemorrhage, convulsions, and central nervous system (CNS) depression. Other outcomes of study were scalp/facial lacerations, intracranial hemorrhage, seizures, CNS depression, and admission to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). A total of 1730 women were included in the analysis. Of these, 74.7% had no pop-offs, 13.9% had 1 pop-off, 7.4% had 2 pop-offs, and approximately 4% had ≥3 pop-offs. Approximately 94% delivered via VAVD. As the number of pop-offs increased, the number of scalp/facial lacerations, intracranial hemorrhage, subgaleal hemorrhage, convulsions, CNS depression, and NICU admissions significantly increased. However, there was no association with the composite outcome, as well as severe perinatal laceration, shoulder dystocia, brachial plexus injury, and cephalohematoma. Adjusting for confounders, having any number of pop-offs increased the likelihood of scalp/facial lacerations, intracranial hemorrhage, convulsions, CNS depression, and NICU admission. However, there was not a dose-dependent association in the odds of adverse outcomes as the number of pop-offs increased. Compared with having no pop-offs, having any number of pop-offs was associated with an increase in adverse neonatal outcomes. In addition, the rates of intracranial hemorrhage and subgaleal hemorrhage were increased with greater numbers of pop-offs.

Abstract:
Music stimulation is an important component for prenatal fetal development. Both pop and religious music are easy to listen and widely accepted in Indonesia. This study was to analyze the effect of Mozart, pop, and religious music exposure during pregnancy to the number of glial cells in the brain of Rattus norvegicus offspring. The samples were divided into three groups based on the exposure for each group, namely Mozart, pop, and religious music, duration of 60 minutes with 65dB intensity, initiated on the 10th day of pregnancy for 9 days in the soundproof chamber. Three brains of the offsprings were dissected and prepared for Hematoxylin-Eosin staining counted on 5 fields of view and 400 magnification strength.Different glial cells number of Rattus norvegicus brain between groups were observed. Mozart music (28,29) showed a highest mean and pop music (18,67) showed the lowest mean. Significant difference of the number of brain glial cells between Mozart music compared to pop and religious music groups were observed, with p value <0,005.The number of brain glial cells of Rattus norvegicus offsprings in the Mozart group were significantly higher than those in pop and religious groups.

Abstract:
BACKGROUND The prevalence of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) increases with age and parity. Specifically, the prevalence of POP among women aged 20 to 39 is 9.7%, while it rises to 49% among women over 80 years old. Additionally, as the number of deliveries increases, the prevalence of POP also rises accordingly, with a rate of 12.8% for women with one delivery history, 18.7% for those with two deliveries, and 24.6% for women with three or more deliveries. It causes immense suffering for pregnant women. AIM To evaluate the relationship between the levator ani muscle’s hiatus (LH) area and POP in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) using perineal ultra-sound. METHODS The study cohort comprised 104 patients aged 29.8 ± 3.7 years who sought medical care at our institution between January 2021 and June 2023. All were singleton pregnancies consisting of 75 primiparas and 29 multiparas, with an average parity of 1.7 ± 0.5. According to the POP diagnostic criteria, the 104 subjects were divided into two groups with 52 members each: POP group (patients with GDM combined with POP) and non-POP group (patients with GDM without POP). Perineal ultrasound was used to measure differences in the anteroposterior diameter, transverse diameter, and LH area. Receiver operating characteristic curves were drawn to determine the optimal cutoff values for the LH anteroposterior diameter, transverse diameter, and area for diagnosing POP. RESULTS Statistically significant increase in the LH area, anteroposterior diameter, and lateral diameter were observed in the POP group compared with the non-POP group (P < 0.05). Both groups exhibited markedly elevated incidence rates of macrosomia and stress urinary incontinence. For the POP group, the area under the curve (AUC) for the LH area was 0.906 with a 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.824-0.988. The optimal cutoff was 13.54cm², demonstrating a sensitivity of 83.2% and a specificity of 64.4%. The AUC for the anteroposterior diameter reached 0.836 with a 95%CI: 0.729-0.943. The optimal cutoff was 5.53 cm with a sensitivity of 64.2% and a specificity of 73.4%. For the lateral diameter, its AUC was 0.568 with a 95%CI: 0.407-0.729. The optimal cutoff was 4.67 cm, displaying a sensitivity of 65.9% and a specificity of 69.3%. Logistic regression analysis unveiled that age, body weight, number of childbirths, total number of pregnancies, and gestational weight gain constituted the independent risk factors for the cooccurrence of GDM and POP. CONCLUSION Three-dimensional perineal ultrasonography of LH size and shape changes can effectively diagnose POP. Age, weight, number of births, number of pregnancies, and weight gain during pregnancy are independent risk factors affecting the cooccurrence of GDM and POP. GDM can increase the LH area in patients, and an enlarged LH leads to an increased incidence of POP.

Abstract:
Abstract Objective This study aimed to evaluate whether the number of vacuum pop-offs, the number of forceps pulls, or the duration of operative vaginal delivery (OVD) is associated with adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes. Study Design This is a secondary analysis of a multicenter observational cohort of women who underwent an attempted OVD. Women were stratified by the duration of OVD and the number of pop-offs (vacuum) or pulls (forceps) attempted. Severe perineal lacerations, failed OVD, and a composite adverse neonatal outcome were compared by the duration of OVD and number of pop-offs or pulls. Results Of the 115,502 women in the primary cohort, 5,325 (4.6%) underwent an attempt at OVD: 3,594 (67.5%) with vacuum and 1,731 (32.5%) with forceps. After adjusting for potential confounders, an increasing number of pop-offs was associated with an increased odds of the composite adverse neonatal outcome. However, an increasing duration of vacuum exhibited a stronger association with the composite adverse neonatal outcome. Similarly, the number of forceps pulls was less strongly associated with the composite adverse neonatal outcome compared with the duration of forceps application. Conclusion The duration of OVD may be more associated with adverse neonatal outcomes than the number of pop-offs or pulls.

AbstractObjectivesTo investigate the neuropeptide Y (NPY) expression in the tissue of pelvic floor ligament and anterior vaginal wall in female patients with pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and stress urinary incontinence (SUI).MethodSeventeen patients with POP, 6 with SUI, 13 with POP and SUI (POP&SUI), and 10 controls were included in this study from First Affiliated Hospital of JiNan University. Immunohistochemical assay was used to examine NPY expression in the tissue of round ligament, cardinal ligament of uterus, uterosacral ligament, and anterior vaginal wall. NPY expression were compared between POP, SUI, POP&SUI and controls.ResultsNPY was positive expressed in the round ligament, cardinal ligament of uterus, uterosacral ligament, and anterior vaginal subepithelial connective tissue. Compared with the control group, NPY expression in the round, cardinal, and uterosacral ligaments in patients with POP&SUI group was decreased with significant statistical difference (p<0.05). NPY expression in anterior vaginal wall was significantly decreased in POP, SUI, and POP&SUI groups compared to normal group (p<0.05). Compared to POP group, NPY expression in SUI and POP&SUI groups were significantly decreased (p<0.05), however the difference was not statistical different between SUI and POP&SUI groups (p>0.05). In POP and POP&SUI groups, the NPY expression in the cardinal ligament of uterus, uterosacral ligament, and anterior vaginal wall were negatively correlated with age (p<0.05), however, was not correlated with number of pregnancy, number of delivery, and BMI (p>0.05).ConclusionsNPY expression was reduced in the round ligament, cardinal ligament of uterus, Uterosacral ligament, and vaginal anterior wall of the patients with POP and SUI. The decreased NPY expression may play an important role in the development of pelvic floordysfunction.

Comparing the observed and theoretical HR diagram for massive stars, it is concluded that at least 34 % of the stars within 2.5 kpc from the sun with initial ZAMS mass larger than 35 MO have not yet been detected. It is argued that the number of core helium burning pop I WR stars within 2.5 kpc from the sun may be as low as 26. If the progenitors of WR stars have initial ZAMS masses larger than 35 MO, one then concludes that the observed number ratio (core helium burning pop I WR stars) / (WR progenitors) within 2.5 kpc from the sun ranges between 0.05 and 0.09.

Abstract:
Pops are a low-frequency, pulsed vocalization produced by Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins (Tursiopscf.aduncus) in Shark Bay, Western Australia and are often heard when male alliances are consorting or ‘herding’ a female. Previous research indicated that pops produced in this context are an agonistic ‘come-hither’ demand produced by males and directed at female consorts. Here we examine pop occurrence during focal follows on bottlenose dolphin alliances with and without female consorts present. Regression analysis was conducted to determine if pop numbers were higher in the presence of female consorts, and if variables including group size alone and the interaction between presence/absence of a consortship and group size, influenced pop production. While the presence or absence of a consortship significantly affected the number of pops, average group size had no significant effect on pop production. Our research provides further evidence that the pop vocalization plays an important role in consortships.

The purpose of the article is to form the main features of the variety number  as a structural unit of pop art, as a separate logically and compositionally constructed performance of one or more performers, combining genre types of other arts whose commonality lies in the close rapprochement of performers and the public, in concordance, mobility and entertainment. Research methods. The etymological method has been used  to determine the concept of «variety art» origin; The comparative method allowed  the comparative analysis of the small forms signs in art; The semiotic method has been used by the authors for the analysis in the corresponding terminology, and semantic has been used for the analysis of their meanings; the analytical-conceptual method allowed the authors  to define the concept of variety number as a «molecule» in pop art, and the systematic method has been used by the authors to systematize the key features in the variety number. The novelty of the study is that for the first time, in the science of art studies the main features of the variety number as a synthetic artistic phenomenon have been systematized as an independent structural unit in pop art, its specifics, and, consequently, differences from other small artistic forms. However, the authors offer their own interpretation in the definition  of «pop number». Conclusions. Variety number is a synthetic artistic phenomenon, representing the «atom» of pop art, its relatively independent structural unit in the form  of a logical and compositionally constructed performance of one or more performers. The key features of the variety number are its synthetic, short, content, concise, vivid entertainment, dynamism, mobility, relevance, entertainment and direct contact of performers with the public.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to outline the origins and nature of the pop up retail phenomenon, examine the development and characteristics of pop up shops within the UK and offer some reflections on the impact of pop up shops within the UK’s town and city centres and on the role of pop up shops within the wider retail economy. Design/methodology/approach The paper begins with a brief review of the pop up retail phenomenon and this is followed by an examination of the development and characteristics of pop up shops in the UK. The information on which the paper is based is drawn from the corporate websites of pop up shop operators and property management companies and agencies. Findings The paper reveals that pop up shops have been developed in a variety of formats and locations within the UK and a number of factors driving pop up shop development are identified including high retail vacancy rates in shopping centres, relaxations in planning regulations, the opportunity for retailers and entrepreneurs to market test products and brands and changes in customer behaviour and consumer culture. Looking to the future pop up shops may make but a small physical contribution to increasing the number of retail units on the High Street but by enhancing the experiential environment for consumers, they may make an important contribution to the quality of shopping. Originality/value The paper provides an accessible review of the origins, development and possible impact of pop up shops within the UK and as such will interest property professionals, academics and students interested in changes in the retail environment.

Abstract:
Abstract The first Population III (Pop III) stars formed out of primordial, metal-free gas, in minihalos at z > 20, and kickstarted the cosmic processes of reionization and enrichment. While these stars are likely more massive than their enriched counterparts, the current unknowns of their astrophysics include when the first Pop III stars ignited, how massive they were, and when and how the era of the first stars ended. Investigating these questions requires an exploration of a multidimensional parameter space, including the slope of the Pop III stellar initial mass function (IMF) and the strength of the nonionizing UV background. In this work, we present a novel model which treats both the slope and maximum mass of Pop III stars as truly free parameters while including the physics of the fragmentation of primordial gas. Our results also hint at a nonuniversal Pop III IMF which is dependent on the efficiency of primordial gas fragmentation. Our relatively simple model reproduces the results from hydrodynamic simulations, but with a computational efficiency which allows us to investigate the observable differences between a wide range of potential Pop III IMFs. In addition, the evolution of the number density of Pop III stars may provide insight into the evolution of the H2 dissociating background. While the slope of the Pop III IMF does not significantly affect the predicted number density of the first stars, more top-heavy IMFs produce Pop III star clusters which are 2–3 magnitudes brighter than their more bottom-heavy counterparts. While the Pop III star clusters are too dim for direct detection by JWST, we find they are within the reach of gravitational lensing.

Abstract:
Abstract Corn as one of the world’s staple food sources has become one of the most important commodities in the world. Indonesia as one of the maize producer countries also strives to improve the quality and quantity of production by genotype varieties that are resistant to specific conditions and are resistant to various pests and diseases. At present, the very high pressure and attack of fall armyworm (FAW) that exceed the economic threshold in maize cultivation is one of the problems that need integrated management, one of which is the formation of varieties that are resistant to FAW. The purpose of this selection test was to obtain the maize genotype resistance of FAW (Spodoptera frugiperda). The research was carried out in Agricultural Technology Research and Assessment Installation, Bajeng, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The total of genetic materials in this test was 13 genotypes (POP 02, POP 03, POP 05, POP 10, POP 11, POP 15, POP 18, POP 21, POP 23, POP 24, POP 26, POP 27, and POP 28) and 2 check varieties (BISI 18 and JH 37). The treatments were arranged in a randomized block design with 3 replicates. The FAW as the test insects was obtained from the environment that had been exposed to it. Observations started 4 weeks after planting (WAP) by observing the total number of damaged plants, the percentage of attacks according to the Davis scale, and the level of plant resistance. All tested genetic materials showed moderate resistance to tolerance to FAW. The highest damage percentage was in the line Pop.18 (46.26%) and the lowest was in POP 11 (7-24%) and POP. 26 (14-26%). The moderate resistant strains obtained were Pop 10, Pop 11, Pop 21, Pop 23, Pop 24, Pop 26, Pop 27, and Pop 28. The results of this study can be continued for the formation of the next generation to obtain resistant strains and can be tested for plant morphology and physiology that trigger the resistance to FAW.

Abstract:
Celebrity worship is a form of almost obsessional participation in which people idolize and even start to “worship” their favorite celebrities. Twitter reveals that in 2021, Indonesia was ranked fourth as the country with the most number of Korean Pop (K-Pop) fans. In this study, we constructed a SEIRS mathematical model of celebrity worship tendency among K-Pop fans (CWKF) because there have not been specific mathematical models built on the problem of celebrity worship tendency among K-Pop fans. The CWKF free equilibrium point (E0), endemic equilibrium point (E1), and using the Next Generation Matrix for the Basic Reproduction Number (R0) are calculated through analysis. Using the Routh-Hurwitz criteria for equilibrium analysis, we found that E0 is locally asymptotically stable if R0 < 1, and E1 is locally asymptotically stable if R0 > 1. Secondly, we conduct numerical simulations using Maple software, and research data consisting of 204 individuals from various regions in South Sulawesi serves as the basis for this mathematical analysis. The numerical simulation obtained supports the dynamic analysis results that the number of individuals who are K-Pop fans will decrease in the population and disappear within a certain period, even without any special treatment.

Abstract:
Currently, South Korea is very popular for its pop music, which is Korean Pop or “K-Pop”. There are a lot of K-Pop groups and one of them is BTS. BTS’ albums are known to be one of the best-selling in K-Pop, with a total of more than 20 million albums sold in 2020. BTS also has a large number of fans, with Indonesia being one of the top 10 countries that have the highest number of BTS fans. Indonesia also has a BTS fan community that connects BTS fans in the country. However, Indonesia does not seem to contribute a high share in the selling of BTS’ albums, be it physical or digital. Therefore, this conceptual study intends to develop a research framework on the factor affecting purchase decisions on BTS albums. The literature that is used in this conceptual study is limited to literature that is published in 2010 or above. This study contributes to the future researcher to make further research regarding the effect of fan community towards its members’ purchase decision of BTS’ album.

Abstract:
This study delves into the mathematical SFR model capturing the pace of Celebrity Worship Behavior among devoted K-Pop enthusiasts. Primary data is harnessed via questionnaires directly sourced from the community within South Sulawesi Province, offering insights into the rhythm of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop aficionados. The research embarks on constructing the SFR model and subsequently navigating through an array of analyses and simulations pertaining to Celebrity Worship Behavior in the K-Pop sphere. This comprehensive approach encompasses pinpointing equilibrium junctures, scrutinizing model stability, computing the fundamental reproduction number (R0), orchestrating model simulations using Maple software, and untangling the implications of simulation outcomes. Within this article, the SFR mathematical model materializes through a synthesis of analysis and simulation, uncovering two equilibrium points: the unconstrained equilibrium of Celebrity Worship Behavior in the realm of K-Pop enthusiasts, and the equilibrium specific to this distinctive behavior. A calculated basic reproduction number of R0=0,425 alludes to a decline in the populace engaging in Celebrity Worship Behavior within the K-Pop community.

Abstract:
Contrary to the hi-tech reputation of pop, the most innovative pop musicians often use traditional, old-fashioned equipment, ignoring the latest technological developments. Musical innovation tends to precede technological innovation rather than the other way round. This article presents a birds eye view of pop experimentalism, grouping a number of influential or otherwise interesting examples into four main categories based on the type of equipment that is subject to experimentation: (i) abusing musical instruments, (ii) abusing amplification, (iii) abusing effects and mixing equipment, and (iv) ‘pop concrète’, or experiments involving tape montage techniques. The examples suggest that technological innovation may be relatively unimportant to the most innovative and musically adventurous pop musicians. Rather, they appear to need to have established some kind of relationship with their equipment before they find radically new ways of using it. Pop experiments involve the critical use of well-established typical pop machinery. This places them in an old tradition of artistic innovation.

Abstract:
Symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse (POP) has been increasing in recent years for both developed and developing countries. By 2050, as the adult population grows, the number of women with symptomatic POP will increase by 46%. Due to the increasing number of complications after surgery among women with POP, the current understanding of treatment has become extremely important for researchers and practitioners. There are many novel conservative and surgical treatment approaches under investigation. However, some primary surgical treatments show an approximate 30–50% risk of repeated pelvic floor reconstruction. Therefore, the review aims to summarize several conservative treatment options and identify critical areas of need for future research.

Abstract:
Pelvic floor disorders (PFD), including Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP), can negatively impact a woman’s daily activities and quality of life. POP is a growing concern, with an increasing number of cases each year and significant numbers of women going through surgery to alleviate it. Traditional interventions like the use of mesh implants have certain limitations such as repeated surgeries. An alternative surgical intervention technique using injectable biodegradable cog threads was suggested. The application of Finite element analysis (FEA) to this research allows us to personalize and select suitable POP correction techniques and study the effect of alternative reinforcement techniques. The 3D computational model of the vagina will be used to simulate defect repair using cog threads. To accurately model this, we conducted uniaxial tensile tests on both the polycaprolactone (PCL) cog threads and the sow’s vaginal tissues, which mimic human tissue, providing vital data for precise finite element modeling. The study’s findings suggest that cog threads may have the potential to provide benefits in the treatment of POP. This study provides a starting point for further research on cog threads as one possible treatment option for POP.

Abstract:
Poetry and pop culture: Some poems by Joan Hambidge The influence of pop culture as a general movement, as well as pop art as a specific art movement, can be seen in the work of Joan Hambidge. In a number of her poems Hambidge enters into conversation with Andy Warhol as the most prominent pop artist. She comments through poetry on Warhol’s life and work method and also presents her poems in the idiom of Warhol. This entails, inter alia, a repetition or duplication of the content, a deliberate intertextual conversation with verbal and visual artists and a reuse of existing material. Hambidge follows Warhol’s representation of popular cult figures from the pop era by creating a number of word portraits of famous people such as Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. This “gallery” of word portraits becomes part of the (well-known) literary conversation which Hambidge conducts with other poets and artists, and at the same time communicates her own poetics as well as her own view on the construction of identity and death. Ultimately this pre-occupation with cult figures becomes a mask for the self.

Abstract:
In this work, we introduce a high-dimensional polarization-phase (PoP)-based quantum key distribution protocol, briefly named PoP[Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is the dimension of a hybrid quantum state including polarization and phase degrees of freedom of the same photon, and [Formula: see text] is the number of mutually unbiased bases. We present a detailed description of the PoP[Formula: see text] protocol as a special case, and evaluate its security against various individual and coherent eavesdropping strategies, and in each case, we compare it with the BB84 and the two-dimensional (TD)-PoP protocols. In all the strategies, the error threshold and the effective transmission rate of the PoP[Formula: see text] protocol are far greater than the other two protocols. Unlike most high-dimensional protocols, the simplicity of producing and detecting the qudits and the use of conventional components (such as traditional single-photon sources and quantum channels) are among the features of the PoP[Formula: see text] protocol.

Abstract:
Background. Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a condition in which one or more pelvic organs (consisting of the uterus, vaginal cuff, bladder, intestines, and rectum) or more are still in or out of the vagina. Risk factors that influence the incidence of POP consist of obstetric risk factors (number of parity and birth method) and non-obstetric risk factors (age, menopause, BMI, comorbid disease, and hypertension). The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors associated with the degree of POP.
Methods. This study is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach to 111 patients examined at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Mohammad Hoesin general hospital Palembang on January 2017 to December 2019, who was diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse.
Results. The results showed the effect of variables with the degree of POP using the chi-square test, consisting of parity (p=0.007), birth method (p=<0.001), age (p=0.016), menopause (p=0.001), BMI (p =0.005), indicates that there is a significant effect on the degree of POP. Meanwhile, comorbid factors (p=0.481) and hypertension (p=0.415) did not show a significant relationship with the degree of POP. The results of the binary logistic regression analysis of all risk factors, the number of parity >4, overweight, and age 40 years, will have a 99.85% chance of experiencing grade 3 or 4 prolapse.
Conclusion. Age is the most dominant risk factor affecting the degree of pelvic organ prolapse, with 19 times the chance of developing POP 3 or 4 degrees.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The formation of Population III (Pop III) stars is a critical step in the evolution of the early Universe. To understand how these stars affected their metal-enriched descendants, the details of how, why and where Pop III formation takes place needs to be determined. One of the processes that is assumed to greatly affect the formation of Pop III stars is the presence of a Lyman–Werner (LW) radiation background, that destroys H2, a necessary coolant in the creation of Pop III stars. Self-shielding can alleviate the effect the LW background has on the H2 within haloes. In this work, we perform a cosmological simulation to study the birthplaces of Pop III stars, using the adaptive mesh refinement code enzo. We investigate the distribution of host halo masses and its relationship to the LW background intensity. Compared to previous work, haloes form Pop III stars at much lower masses, up to a factor of a few, due to the inclusion of H2 self-shielding. We see no relationship between the LW intensity and host halo mass. Most haloes form multiple Pop III stars, with a median number of four, up to a maximum of 16, at the instance of Pop III formation. Our results suggest that Pop III star formation may be less affected by LW radiation feedback than previously thought and that Pop III multiple systems are common.

Abstract:
Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a widespread disease and a frequent indication for surgical treatment. The risk of surgery for POP during life can reach 20%. In the coming years, the burden of POP on healthcare systems will only grow. In 50% of patients, a recurrence of the disease develops after the correction of POP, and 30% require a repeat operation. Specialists face the task of improving the medium- and long-term results of surgical intervention. Timely treatment and accurate preoperative assessment are crucial for improving the results of POP surgical correction. The purpose is to analyze the scientific data accumulated to date on the possibilities of various methods of POP diagnosis. Material and methods. We analyzed approaches to POP diagnosis developed by professional associations, as well as evidence-based data on the various techniques of POP diagnosis published in PubMed, CochraneLibrary, Science Direct, Google Scholar, eLibrary, and CyberLeninka databases. To search for 2010–2024 publications, we used the keywords «pelvic organ prolapse», «diagnosis», and «visualization». Results. Based on the analysis, we conclude that the currently used ICS POP-Q quantification system has a number of limitations, and imaging methods (sonography, MRI) are currently not standardized or validated, and therefore their diagnostic capabilities are not fully utilized. Conclusions. All of the above explains the importance of conducting qualitative research to improve the POP quantitative assessment and to explore the diagnostic capabilities of imaging techniques. Accurate preoperative assessment is crucial to improve the results of surgical intervention.

Abstract Korean Pop (K-Pop) music, which emerged in South Korea in the 1990s, is a type ofmusic presented to the audience with songs consisting of a mixture of different musicalbranches, usually in groups and accompanied by exaggerated shows. However, K-Popcannot be considered just a music genre; it is a huge show and entertainment industrythat includes a number of economic, cultural, social and even political dynamicswith the bridge it has built between the depth of its past and today’s success. In thisrespect, K-Pop is also at the center of some problems hidden behind colorful shows.K-Pop contains a number of question marks, from the clothing fashion it presents tothe sociocultural world, to the perception of artificial beauty, from the imposition ofperfection to discussions about androgynous gender. Participants were asked eightopen-ended questions. From the answers received, 10-year-old girls are introduced toK-Pop largely through the influence of friends, K-Pop is at the intersection of fun andexcitement in children’s minds; children perceive K-Pop as an idealized magical reality. It has been understood that K-Pop has created a new kind of admiration model for itself, and most importantly, parents have a non-questioning attitude towards K-Pop.

Abstract:
The Global Human Settlement Population Grid (GHS-POP) the latest released global gridded population dataset based on remotely sensed data and developed by the EU Joint Research Centre, depicts the distribution and density of the total population as the number of people per grid cell. This study aims to assess the GHS-POP data accuracy based on root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and the correlation coefficient. The study was conducted for Poland and Portugal, countries characterized by different population distribution as well as two spatial resolutions of 250 m and 1 km on the GHS-POP. The main findings show that as the size of administrative zones decreases (from NUTS (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics) to LAU (local administrative unit)) and the size of the GHS-POP increases, the difference between the population counts reported by the European Statistical Office and estimated by the GHS-POP algorithm becomes larger. At the national level, MAPE ranges from 1.8% to 4.5% for the 250 m and 1 km resolutions of GHS-POP data in Portugal and 1.5% to 1.6%, respectively in Poland. At the local level, however, the error rates range from 4.5% to 5.8% in Poland, for 250 m and 1 km, and 5.7% to 11.6% in Portugal, respectively. Moreover, the results show that for densely populated regions the GHS-POP underestimates the population number, while for thinly populated regions it overestimates. The conclusions of this study are expected to serve as a quality reference for potential users and producers of population density datasets.

Abstract:
Introduction. The article deals with the k-pop cover dance direction as one of the movements globalizing the youth environment. Nowadays, the K-pop youth subculture has reached a significant number of teenage schoolchildren with its popularity. Currently, belonging to the K-pop subculture and its dance practices are becoming integral to creating new global identities for young people. Goals. The study aims to examine the richness of K-pop components through dance culture, especially popular among school-age teenagers. Materials. The work primarily analyzes the author’s field materials with the aid of the structural/functional method, that of included observation, as well as interviews (narrative, semi-structured) with respondents. Results and Conclusions. The paper concludes that Kalmyk K-pop fans form a bi-ethnic identity in which a combination of features of both — their own and other ethnic cultures — is equally manifested. At the same time, K-pop cover dance proves the most accessible way to get socialized and develop imagination (i.e., a leisure-time activity) in present-day youth culture.

The article discusses pop culture as a modern phenomenon, the authors analyz-ing the notion of pop culture, its connection with «the mass», the axiological sys-tem of the young technological age generation as well as with the technical pro-gress as the basis of the epoch under discussion. Besides, comparing mass culture works (artefacts) with and juxtaposing them to those of classical culture, the au-thors explore pop culture structure and its connection with mass production conditioning the consumer society standards. Among of the foci of attention are the role of cinema in the formation, development, and functioning of pop culture and cinema product as its apex. One of the problems under consideration is that of pop culture as the sphere of different cultures interrelationships causing the least number of conflicts and thus acting as an instrument of the (seeming) cul-tural convergence of the peoples.

Abstract:
This study explores the mathematical SFR model to analyze Celebrity Worship Behavior among devoted K-Pop fans. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed within the South Sulawesi Province, providing insights into the dynamics of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop enthusiasts. The research involves developing an SFR model with time delays, followed by a series of analyses and simulations related to Celebrity Worship Behavior in the K-Pop community. This comprehensive approach includes identifying equilibrium points, evaluating model stability, calculating the basic reproduction number (R0), conducting simulations using Maple software, and interpreting the simulation results. The SFR mathematical model reveals two equilibrium points: one representing the baseline level of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop fans and the other specific to this behavior. The calculated R0 value of 0.425 suggests a potential decrease in the prevalence of Celebrity Worship Behavior within the K-Pop community.

Abstract:
A field investigation was conducted during August to December 2015 and 2016 in farmers` fields in Thalayazham panchayat in Kottayam district. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design having 16 treatments in three replications with rice (Oryza sativa L.) var. Uma. The treatments were dolomite, lime + MgSO4 or RHA (rice husk ash) + MgSO4 along with 100% package of practice (POP) alone or with 100% POP + foliar spray of 13-0-45 N-P-K (KNO3) (1%) or borax (0.5%) or 13-0-45 + borax at PI (panicle initiation) stage. Lime + MgSO4 + 75% POP + 13-0-45 + borax as well as lime without MgSO4 + 100% POP combined with 13-0-45 or borax or both were also included as treatments. Higher grain yield of 5.42 and 5.57 t ha-1 during 2015 and 2016 respectively were produced by dolomite + POP + 13-0-45 followed by dolomite + POP + 13-0-45 + borax and lime + POP + MgSO4 + 13-0-45. The treatments involving dolomite and lime with or without MgSO4 produced taller plants, higher tiller number m-2 and higher Leaf Area Index during both the years. Dolomite + POP + 13-0-45 produced the highest number of panicles m-2. Higher test weight and lower percentage of unfilled grains were observed with dolomite + POP + 13-0-45 and dolomite + POP + 13-0-45 + borax. Lime and dolomite treatments were more effective in reducing soil acidity and improving dehydrogenase activity and nutrient availability in the soil than RHA treatments during both the years. However, the effect of liming materials applied as basal and at 30 DAS diminishes after the crop and this necessitates application of liming materials in every crop season. Availability of soil N improved by treatments involving lime + POP without MgSO4 at PI and harvest stages. The treatments involving dolomite + POP and lime + POP with or without MgSO4 recorded higher available P during PI stage. In general, higher status of available K was registered by the treatments involving dolomite or lime application and lower K status registered by the treatment with 75% POP fertilizer. All treatments involving lime or dolomite registered higher soil available Ca and those involving dolomite or lime + MgSO4 showed higher availability of Mg in the soil. The treatments involving dolomite registered lower status of soil available Fe and higher status of available B. Higher status of available Zn was registered by the treatments involving dolomite or lime + MgSO4. Soil pH was significantly and positively correlated with available P, Ca and Mg and significantly and negatively correlated with available Fe in the soil. In general, higher uptake of macronutrients was observed with dolomite or lime + MgSO4 treatments along with 100% POP during both the years. Foliar spray of 13-0-45 recorded higher N and K uptake. Significant and positive correlation of grain yield with uptake of macro nutrients was also observed.

Abstract:
Background: Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) has become a common health problem among the aging population and affects an increasing number of elderly women worldwide. Studies within family and twin pairs provided strong evidence for the contribution of genetic factors to POP. Given the incomplete penetrance, polygenic traits, and small effect sizes of each variant in complex diseases, it is not always easy to evaluate the genetic susceptibility and molecular mechanisms involved in POP. Objectives: This review intends to comprehensively summarize the current studies on genetic variants associated with POP. Methods: We performed a comprehensive review to summarize the genetic findings from genome-linkage studies, genome-wide association studies, candidate association studies, and gene expression analyses. Results: We summarized genetic variants associated with connective tissue homeostasis, hormone metabolism, and oxidative stress, which were potentially related to the pathophysiology of POP. We also reviewed the limited polygenic risk score (PRS) studies generated for each individual’s genetic risk stratification and its integration into clinical risk factors for disease prediction. Conclusions: This pooled analysis provides moderate epidemiological credibility for associations of these genetic variants with POP to bridge the gap between genetic research and clinical medicine towards understanding the genetic etiology of POP. It also highlights the potential of PRS as a risk prediction model.

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to identify the points of crossing of pop songs and academic chamber vocal music in the Ukrainian cultural and artistic space of the second half of the 20th century. The methodology involves the use of analytical, systemic and historical, and cultural methods to identify the relationship between the pop song genre and academic chamber vocal music in the Ukrainian musical culture of the second half of the 20th century. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the characterization of I. Karabits’ pop songs from the point of view of combining the features of pop and academic chamber vocal music in them. Conclusions. Pop song and chamber vocal music, represented by the genre of solo singing, developed separately in the Ukrainian cultural space of the 1950s-1980s, but their paths often crossed. In the context of their interaction in pop-song creativity, the process of academization takes place, and in academic music – hitting. Based on the analysis of two popular pop songs by I.Karabits «My land is my love» and «A song for good», a specific feature of a number of vocal compositions of the composer was discovered and described, which are functionally ambivalent and correspond to the aesthetics of both academic and pop music, and therefore, they are indicated as works of dual-use – for both the academic and the pop scene. This duality is based on the musical component of a vocal work, which, with variability in the interpretation of the instrumental (and sometimes vocal) component, can enhance the features of both academic and pop music.

Abstract:
1. We describe a group of serotonergic neurons in the pedal ganglia of Aplysia brasiliana and characterize their modulatory effects on the motoneuron input to swimming muscles of the parapodia. Each pedal ganglion contains one cluster of large neurons near its dorsomedial surface that fires in phase with opening (downstroke) of the parapodia; these have been designated parapodial opener-phase (POP) cells. 2. POP cells are large, number 15-20 per ganglion, have peripheral axons in parapodial nerves, have distinctively shaped action potentials, and fire in bursts phasically with motoneurons during the opening, or downstroke portion, of parapodial movement during fictive swimming. Firing individual POP cells with intracellular current indicates that they have no direct detectable effect on muscle, causing neither junction potentials nor contractions. 3. 5,7-Dihydroxytryptamine (5,7-DHT) staining, immunocytochemistry using serotonin (5-HT) antibodies, and direct biochemical measurements revealed that POP cells are serotonergic. Serotonergic nerve endings were also seen in parapodial muscle. 4. Simultaneous intracellular recordings and use of altered divalent concentrations revealed that no detectable direct synaptic interactions exist between POP cells and motor neurons. 5. When POP cells and motoneurons were simultaneously recorded while measuring muscle contractions, it was found that POP cell activity enhances motoneuron-induced tension by 120-900%, averaging around 300%. Variability in the efficacy of individual POP cells suggests that they may influence specific regions or groups of muscle fibers. 6. POP cell activity also significantly increased the rate of relaxation of parapodial muscle contractions, averaging about a 40% reduction in the time required to relax to one-half peak tension. Increased relaxation rate implies a postsynaptic change in muscle behavior. 7. The effectiveness of POP cells to increase contraction tension and relaxation rate was positively correlated with POP cell spike frequency. These effects were slow (seconds) in onset and could persist for a minute or more after cessation of POP firing. Concurrent motoneuron activity is not required for modulation by POP cells. 8. Simultaneous intracellular recording from a POP cell, motoneuron, and muscle fiber revealed that POP cell activity enhanced the amplitude of motoneuron-induced excitatory junction potentials (EJPs). Activity of POP cells did not alter muscle fiber membrane potential, but the experiments left open the possibility that EJP enhancement is presynaptic, postsynaptic, or a combination.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 400 WORDS)

Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce a new quantum key distribution protocol, which we refer to as polarization-phase (PoP) protocol. In this protocol, two degrees of photonic freedom of the same particle in a hybrid manner are used to encode the information in the format of two- or high-dimensional quantum states (qubits and qudits, respectively). Here, we only discuss the qubit version of the general PoP protocol (we refer to two-dimensional PoP (TD-PoP) protocol) as an interesting extension for the standard BB84 protocol. We investigate the performance of the TD-PoP protocol using infinite-key analysis against restricted individual attacks, i.e. the intercept-resend and photon number splitting attacks, in both ideal single-photon and Poisson (attenuated laser) sources. In addition, we demonstrate that this protocol, despite using two physical dimensions, is simple and fully has empirical implementation capability. Ability to extract two bits of information from each detection event, and increasing the sifting parameter, the secure key rate, and the likelihood of detection of an eavesdropper, are the advantages of the TD-PoP protocol compared to the standard polarization- or phase-encoded BB84 protocol.
