The purpose of the research is to study ixodid fauna and the distribution of some species to take timely and effective measures against ticks.Materials and methods. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, we examined 14,207 domestic animals of 8 species of which 5,512 (38.8%) were found to be infected with ticks. 30,025 specimens of ixodid tick’s imago were collected from the animals. The collected material was examined at the Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine of the Nakhchivan State University and the Laboratory of Parasitology of the Nakhchivan Scientific Center of Veterinary Medicine. The ticks were identified using the identification guide by N. A. Filippova. Results and discussion. The parasitism of 16 species of ixodid ticks of four genera was recorded in the domestic animals in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, namely, Hyalomma, Rhipicephalus, Dermacentor, and Haemaphysalis. Fifteen parasite species were found on the body of the livestock animals, of which 4 species, Hyalomma asiaticum, H. anatolicum, Rhipicephalus bursa, and Dermacentor marginatus were dominants. The H. anatolicum range occupied almost the entire Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and made up 25.7% of the total and 44.4% of the tick gender collection. H. anatolicum is considered to be the dominant in terms of distribution.

Abstract:
18 populations of Salvia species are selected in the fitocenological complexes of the regions of Lesser Caucasus range (Nakhchivan AR and north-east regions of LC ). In these populations, the fitocenological state of 4 species (S.limbata, S.sclarea, S.verticulata və S.tesquicola) which are belonged to the breed, is estimated, their reserves are found out and the dynamics of the productivity in the ontogeny is determined. It is known that, in the populations, individuals belonged to the g1 və g2 phases of the ontogeny are more and at the same phase, the plant gives more product. Sage (Salvia L.) breed is one of the representatives of Lamiaceae (Lamiaceae Lindl.) family.27 species of the breed spread in the flora of Azerbaijan. 19 species of them spread in the flora of the Nakhchivan AR, and 12 species in the central, northern and eastern regions of Lesser Caucasus. Two of these territories – central and south are under Armenian occupation, that is why, only the population structure of the species in the north-east is found out. 9 species from 19 species which are come across in the flora of the Nakhchivan AR are merely characteristic for the region. 4 species which are come across in the north-east regions of Lesser Caucasus and in the autonomous republic, are selected and each of the species is in the surround of Lesser Caucasus range[nakh cons]. Referring to the literature, among them, S.limbata is not noted in the north-east regions of LC, but during the reserches, the same species are come across in the lower and central mountainous zones of the territory and in the dry stony-rocky slopes. It is a xerophyte plant, the territory is a new spreading field for it. In "Tartar" region, its new population is noted. Its other populations are noted in "Goranboy" and "Dashkesen" regions. 5-6 populations of the plant are setted in the Nakhchivan AR ( in "Babak", "Sherur", " Kengerli" regions). From the other selected three species, S.verticulata is come across in the all regions of Azerbaijan, S.tesquicola is in the Nakhchivan plain and "Goygol" region in the north of LC,and S.sclareais in the east of LC range ( in the "Shamkir" and "Gadabay" regions) and in the Nakhchivan highlands.Read Complete Article at ijSciences: V5201602947 AND DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.18483/ijSci.947

Abstract:
Development Directions of Education in Nakhchivan During the Years of Autonomy Summary Cultural advancement and progress are impossible without education. It is for this reason that the development of education has always been kept in mind, and important measures have been taken in this direction. As we know, during the period of autonomy, important work was done in the direction of education development in Nakhchivan, and great achievements were made in this field. During the years of Soviet rule, the land of Nakhchivan was considered a remote, backward area. Illiteracy reigned among the population. Nakhchivan People's Education Commissariat is established to eliminate illiteracy. In 1922-1923, one of the steps taken by the People's Commissariat of Education in the direction of eliminating illiteracy was the creation of special courses in 26 general education schools. The establishment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 1924 led to the development of school construction in a new direction. Thus, the network of pre-school organizations, including general education schools, has been significantly expanded, and new successes have been achieved in the direction of teacher training. The two-year Pedagogical Institute operating in Nakhchivan was selected for its activities in the direction of teacher training. In the article, the development of education in Nakhchivan during the years of autonomy was followed, and the work done in this field was interpreted from a scientific point of view. Abstract:
Since ancient times the Nakhchivan region of Azerbaijan has been part of the Middle Eastern cultures. Nakhchivan region is located on the one side in the basin of Lake Urmia, on the other in the immediate vicinity of Eastern Anatolia, in close proximity to Mesopotamia. Cultural processes in this region of the ancient East directly affected the territory of Nakhchivan. One of the richest archaeological monuments of Nakhchivan is Gemigaya complex. The Gemigaya monuments located in the high mountainous area are mainly rock paintings – the Bronze-Early Iron Age petroglyphs. Numerous fgures of people, farm animals, wild animals, carts with ancient vehicles, various signs are engraved on the monument. Analogues of some of Gemigaya paintings can be found on archaeological materials of the Middle East. At the same time, a number of human paintings of Gemigaya are stylistically close to some anthropomorphic clay fgures of the ancient East. Such close similarities are the result of the close ties of the ancient South Caucasian population, including Nakhchivan, with the centers of civilization in the Middle East. These relations are also reflected in the fne arts.

Qədim Şərq sivilizasiyaları ilə sıx bağlı olan Naxçıvan tarixi inkişafın gedişində dərin iz qoymuşdur. Bu diyarda Azərbaycan xalqının zəngin tarixi, elmi və mədəni irsi formalaşmışdır. Qədim diyar olan Naxçıvan ən qədim insanların ilk yaşayış məskənləri olmuşdur. Hətta Naxçıvan barədə Roma və yunan müəlliflərinin əsərlərinə də məlumatlar daxil edilmişdi. Məqalədə qədim Oğuz yurdu Naxçıvanın bütün tarixi dövrlərinə toxunulmuş, ərazisi, tarixi-coğrafi şəraiti işıqlandırılmış, müxtəlif dövlətlərin tərkibində fəaliyyəti, əhalinin işğalçılara qarşı mübarizəsi, ictimai-iqtisadi, mədəni həyatı və s. məsələlər geniş şərh edilmişdir. Eyni zamanda, Naxçıvanın bu günkü tarixi və taleyi də geniş şəkildə işıqlandırılmış, ulu öndər Heydər Əliyevin Naxçıvandakı fəaliyyətindən də bəhs edilmişdir. Qeyd edilir ki, 1990-cı il iyunun 22-də Naxçıvan diyarının böyük yetirməsi, görkəmli siyasətçi və dövlət xadimi Heydər Əliyevin Naxçıvana gəlməsi milli-demokratik hərəkatın yeni mərhələyə qədəm qoymasına səbəb oldu. Naxçıvanlılar Heydər Əliyevin simasında öz xilaskarını tapdı. Tezliklə xalqın yekdil səsi ilə Naxçıvan MSSR Ali Sovetinə, Azərbaycan SSR Ali Sovetinə deputat seçilən Heydər Əliyev respublika əhalisinin güvənc yerinə çevrildi. Beləcə, Naxçıvanda milli oyanışın əsası qoyuldu. Müasir Naxçıvanın hərtərəfli inkişafı müstəqillik dövrünün qiymətli quruculuq və dövlətçilik salnaməsidir. The rich history, scientific and cultural heritage of the Azerbaijan people has been formed in this land. Nakhchivan, an ancient land, was the first settlement of the most ancient people. Information about Nakhchivan was even included in the works of Roman and Greek authors. The article touches on all historical periods of the ancient Oghuz land of Nakhchivan, its territory, historical and geographical conditions, activities within different states, the struggle of the population against the occupiers, socio-economic, cultural life and so on. The issues have been widely commented on. At the same time, the current history and destiny of Nakhchivanhave been widely covered. Activities of great leader Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivanhave also been discussed. It is noted that the great political figure of the Nakhchivan land, prominent politician and statesmanHeydar Aliyev’s arrival to the region on June 22, 1990, led the national-democratic movementto a new stage. Nakhchivanpeople found their savior in the personality of Heydar Aliyev. Heydar Aliyev, who was soon elected a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR by a unanimous vote of the people, became a source of confidence for the people of the republic. Thus, the foundation of the national awakening was laid in Nakhchivan. The comprehensive development of modern Nakhchivan is a valuable chronicle of the period of independence and statehood. Abstract:
Purpose. The main purpose of the research work is to study the migration processes in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, especially the progress of migration in urban settlements, how it changes in different administrative regionsç and the factors affecting it. Methods. While carrying out the research work, the data of the demography department of the Nakhchivan State Statistics Committee and using relevant literature materials, the effect of the migration process on urban settlement and demographic processes were used. The research work was prepared based on the mathematical-analytical, historical-comparative methods. Results. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the occupation policy of the 1980s, and later the difficulties of the crisis period, lowered the Living Standard Index and led to the acceleration of migration. Due to the socio-economic situation, the population left the villages and a small part concentrated in the cities. Each factor affecting the intensity and direction of migration determines the attractiveness coefficient of the area. Based on the statistical data for 2021, when we calculate the attractiveness coefficient of the cities in the Nakhchivan economic region, it is evident that the most attractiveness coefficient falls to the city of Nakhchivan. Scientific innovations. In the article, for the first time, how migration processes change in the urban settlements of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the factors affecting this change and ways to eliminate them are studied. Practical significance. The results obtained from the article can be used in the regulation of migration processes in the Republic of Azerbaijan and its various regions.

Abstract:
The main reason for this is that to reveal the development of educational history in the regions and the factors affecting this development, to opine the results gained in the field of education are important matters for our present and modern pedagogical science. That is, the research problem today is of social and political importance according to its pedagogical significance. On the other hand, this aspect, above all, serves the completeness and enrichment of the history of pedagogical thought in the country and helps to identify opportunities for the use of progressive traditions today. Although the history of education and training in Nakhchivan has its own specific features, the school and pedagogical ideas formed in this area are an integral part of all-Azerbaijani pedagogy. This educational experience is mainly conditioned by the national and cultural characteristics of the indigenous population of the region — the Azerbaijani Turks. The investigation of the development trends of national schools in the region, the formation of the Azerbaijani school and pedagogical ideas, and the study of a very important part of the development stages give a complementary and enriching nature to the research process. The success of the complex and difficult path through the various stages of the multidisciplinary education system is so interesting and multifaceted that each author's view of this process sheds a bright light on new realities, opens the way to suggestions, new ideas and considerations that serve progress. It is of particular importance to study the enlightenment movement in Nakhchivan, to discover its fruitful results, to identify pedagogical conceptions, the state of schools and public education, the factors influencing its development on a progressive basis. Because Nakhchivan is the land of Azerbaijan with long history, rich material and cultural monuments and ancient educational culture. Even in the Neolithic period, local tribes lived here, engaged in various economic and art fields, as well as in primitive training and educational works. The aim of the study. To analyze the features of the development of education in Nakhchivan period of independence, to examine the problems of integration, renewal and modernization of education. The aim is to examine the features of the development of education in Nakhchivan during the independence period, to examine in detail the services provided by our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of education in Nakhchivan, to determine the necessary conditions for the development of education. Research objectives. A number of complex tasks have been planned to achieve this goal. - To examine the activities of our great leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of education in Nakhchivan during the period of independence and in the implementation of education policy; - Determining the influence of the political, economic, cultural and scientific environment supporting the development of education in Nakhchivan during the independence period; - To analyze the factors determining the development of education in Nakhchivan during the independence period; - To research the implementation of education reforms in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic depending on the development of education in the country. Research methodology. Guiding documents of classical educators on the development of education, our state's reform programs, orders, wise thoughts. Research methods. Abstract:
During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the ethnic and demographic makeup of the cities in Northern Azerbaijan, as well as Nakhichivan, experienced significant changes. These changes were due to the resettlement policy of the Russian Empire, oppression of the local population, and the displacement of the local people from their land. The Republic of Azerbaijan which regained its independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union still faces problems caused by the territorial policies of the Tsarist and Soviet empires. Therefore, it is extremely important to study the ethno-demographic landscape of any region and city of Azerbaijan in previous stages of history. This will help to determine the number of Azerbaijanis and other peoples who have historically lived in the region during different periods of history. Studying the number of peoples living in a particular region is especially important from the point of view of understanding mutual political, economic, and cultural ties, as well as the ethnic processes that have taken place. The article examines the significant increase in the Armenian population in the territory of Nakhchivan over 100 years since the signing of the Turkmenchay Treaty.

Abstract:
One of the topical issues is the study of the formation conditions, geological structure, chemical composition and methods of development of the "Duzdag" salt deposit, formed in the Babek region of the Nakhchivan depression on the territory of Azerbaijan, in order to meet the salt needs of the population. The field is divided into two sections: southern - Nakhchivan and Sust, located 4.5 km north-west of it. The physical and mechanical properties of both sections are close to each other. Losses are allowed during field development due to the fact that salt layers alternate with clay layers. The constantly growing demand for salt has predetermined the need to develop more advanced and progressive production methods based on the mechanization of technological processes, the use of new technologies and world experience. Depending on the formation of salt deposits, different methods of salt extraction are used in world practice. The main method of production of table salt in the world should be its extraction in the form of a solution and evaporation in the sun. The share of each of these methods is about 35%, and about 30% of the salt is extracted from an underground mine. The productive layer of the Nakhchivan rock salt deposit is 93-95% halite and is of high quality. The excess content of clay minerals in the field forces them to be used only in animal husbandry. Frosts drilled in the Nakhchivan rock salt deposit can be widely used in the treatment of liver diseases. The mountain has 130 million tons of natural salt reserves that are effective in treating respiratory ailments. Since the ice is horizontal, patients adapt to the underground part. To open new production facilities and treatment facilities in Duzdag, it is necessary to continue the installation of equipment that meets modern standards, the introduction of mines into a fully automated, controlled technological regime, equipped with a modern ventilation system. Abstract:
The article characterizes the factors affecting the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan economic region and its administrative districts. An analysis of these factors, regional disparities, and existing advantages using the SWOT analysis method was conducted to identify opportunities for sustainable socio-economic development and assess risks. Additionally, the employment levels of the population in various economic sectors, some advantages and shortcomings of social development, and solutions to problems impacting overall socio-economic development were examined. To study the economic and geographical issues of the socio-economic development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the distribution of the employed population across economic sectors was comparatively analyzed by economic and administrative districts. Improving the sectoral and territorial structure of the economy is one of the most important tasks outlined in State Programs for various years and categories. This topic has been thoroughly studied, and a map of the development dynamics of newly created job positions and economic objects over the past 20 years was prepared. The article also investigates problems and solutions for increasing employment in newly created service sectors within the autonomous republic. The impact of various socio-economic and political factors on the population’s reproduction rate and the intensity and direction of migration in economic development is highlighted. By analyzing the socio-demographic aspects of economic development in detail, it is evident that eliminating deep disparities in the territorial and sectoral structure of the economy, ensuring the employment of the working-age population, and aligning industrial enterprises with market demands could promote sustainable development. For many years, the development of the non-oil sector has remained one of the main issues for the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially in the regions. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, achieving effective specialization in the agrarian-industrial complex is crucial for solving this problem.

Abstract:
Plants belonging to the Fabaceae lindl. family are widely distributed in nature and human life, distinguished by their important properties. Plants of the Fabaceae lindl. family live in very diverse landscapes, including various life forms and ecological groups, which is of exceptional importance in the formation of biocenosis. It is known that there are more than 18,000 species belonging to more than 650 genera. There are 502 species belonging to 69 genera in Azerbaijan, and 258 species belonging to 46 genera in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, many of which are cultivated.Among the astragalus species included in the family, Astragalus szovitsii, Astragalus caraganae, Astragalus echinops, Astragalus fabaceus, Astragalus montis-aquilis grossh., Astragalus wagneri, Astragalus aznabjurticus grossh. It was discovered in the territory of the Daralayaz range. The low population of these species, the negative impact of zoogenic and anthropogenic factors have reduced their natural reserves. Since they are included in the Red Book of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, conservation measures have been developed for their protection, efficient and sustainable use. As a species whose range is gradually shrinking, whose biology is poorly studied, and whose populations are close to danger, the protection of their populations in the main places where they grow in the territory of the Arpachay State Nature Reserve should be strengthened, and their biological characteristics should be studied.

In 2010–2018, newly discovered archaeological monuments in Sirabçay and Gahabçay basins provided archaeological materials of great importance for the dating of the Chalcolithic period. During the research conducted around Sirab, it was established that some of the newly recorded monuments belong to the middle stage of the Chalcolithic period. Ubaid and Dalma Tepe type ceramics were discovered in Uçan Ağıl, Uzunoba and Bülovkaya settlements. It was established that the settlements of Azerbaijan located in the south of Aras mainly used Zengezur obsidian. The population of the settlements located inSirabçay and Gahabçay Valley also mainly used Zengezur obsidian. This is one of the facts confirming the connection between these monuments. The new Chalcolithic monuments of Sirabçay and Gahabçay Valley also made it possible to determine the direction of relations with Mesopotamia and the Urmia Basin. At present, it can be said that one direction of relations with the Urmia basin was Nakhchivanchay and Sirabçay Valley through Kültepeof Julfa. On the other hand, based on the researches, it can be said that the Chalcolithic culture found in the archaeological monuments located in the Şerur region or in the Sirabçay and Gahabçay valleys developed in interaction with the countries of the Middle East.

The article is devoted to the development of educational history in the regions and the factors affecting this development, to opine the results gained in the field of education that are important matters for our present and modern pedagogical science. This educational experience is mainly conditioned by the national and cultural characteristics of the indigenous population of the region - the Azerbaijani Turks.

The article deals with the spread of agriculture and animal husbandry over vast territories, the transformation of natural landscapes, the formation of new economic areas with the development of productive forces, and the further multiplication of environmental impacts. We are talking about anthropogenic landscapes formed as a result of human economic activity, and about a number of dangers of these landscapes for life. We are talking about an increase in the area of the geographical environment, a continuous change in the natural land fund in an anthropogenic direction and that this change is due to an increase in the population and the share of the economy. It is about growing crops and ensuring the food needs of animals, as well as the need to meet the needs of people in agricultural and food products, and the importance of human land use in the field of agriculture. They talk about the rational and irrational use of nature by man and that, with rational use, the balance with nature is not disturbed. And with inefficient use, it is said that a person has taken away material goods and does not take any measures to maintain balance, as a result of which natural landscapes are transformed, the connection between natural complexes is disrupted. Based on the article, it can be said that agricultural activities and natural landscapes on the territory of Sharur, Babek, Kangerlinsky and Julfa districts have undergone a greater transformation.

Abstract:
Azerbaijan is known as one of the oldest sheep breeding countries. The natural and geographical conditions of Azerbaijan had a special impact on the creation and development of animal husbandry, especially sheep breeding. At that time, the tribes living in Azerbaijan were engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding, which led to great changes in their way of life. During this period, although people lived collectively, the main place in cattle breeding, especially in caring for it and feeding it, was occupied by men. In 1953, the animal breeders of the Nekhram village of the Nakhchivan (Babek) district purchased 2618 lambs from 2580 ewes. In general, based on the materials of the Babek and Shahbuz districts of the Nakhchivan region, it can be seen from the studies of the first half of the 20th century that, although for certain reasons there were certain difficulties in the development of sheep breeding in these districts until the 1920s, great success was achieved after 1920 with the creation of favorable conditions, success was achieved, and sheep breeding played a large role in meeting the financial needs of the population.

The article examines the changes that have taken place in the Nakhchivan by characterizing the anthropogenic factors affecting the natural landscape structures. In recent years, the anthropogenic dynamics of natural landscapes have accelerated by rapid population growth and the expansion of private farms. Also, the concept of nature protection and its efficient use makes the concept of landscape development (evolution) even more relevant. Anthropogenic, especially technogenic impacts on nature are manifested in both positive and negative forms in the longitudinal zone covering 32.9% of the territory of the Autonomous Republic. According to the dynamics of anthropogenic landscapes in the area can be classified as weakly altered, disturbed or strongly altered and special cultural landscapes. We have also explored cultural landscapes as follows: 1. For high productivity and economic income; 2. According to human health and the optimality of the ecological environment; The first group includes areas covering the main agricultural crops of the Autonomous Republic, and the second group includes green areas, parks, recreation areas and infrastructure serving the health of the population etc. that have been expanding in recent years. The article also discusses environmental problems in the field of anthropogenic complexes, reproductive modifications and their solutions. In the end, the causes of anthropogenization, the problems encountered the analysis of them in accordance with the physical and geographical conditions, the ways to solve them on a scientific basis, a number of recommendations and suggestions were made.

Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to conduct a chorological analysis of six species of the genus Dianthus in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, using field and molecular genetic methods. The main focus was on their geographical distribution, population status, and genetic diversity. As a result of the study of six species of the genus Dianthus, significant differences were found in their geographical distribution, ecological niches, and adaptation to local conditions. Molecular genetic analysis showed a high level of genetic diversity among populations of Dianthus nahcivanensis and Dianthus nakhchivanicus, which confirmed their uniqueness and endemic status. It has also been proven that the genus Dianthus has a high species diversity and shows significant variations in its distribution depending on the geographical and climatic conditions of the region. The study used geobotanic methods to determine the habitats of species and analyse factors affecting their distribution. In particular, features of the habitat were identified in connection with the local conditions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which included a significant number of endemic species. The genetic analysis performed using the polymerase chain reaction method and sequencing helped to identify the level of genetic diversity and establish phylogenetic relationships between populations. It was found that Dianthus raddeanus, Dianthus parviflorus, Dianthus nakhchivanicus and Dianthus nahcivanensis species are more vulnerable due to the impact of anthropogenic activities, in particular agriculture and grazing, which has led to a decrease in the area of their habitat. Modelling using the maximum entropy method showed potential zones of expansion of species habitats under favourable ecological conditions. The results obtained were important for understanding the ecological patterns of distribution of the genus Dianthus in the region and the development of strategies for preserving biodiversity in the face of climate change and anthropogenic pressure. Based on the study, it was recommended to create or expand protected areas, limit anthropogenic impact, and conduct additional monitoring of the number and genetic structure of Dianthus populations

The development of animal husbandry in the Nakhchiv-an Autonomous Republic, the satisfaction of the population demand for the most important food products -milk, meat, eggs, largely depends on the supply of farm animals with high-value protein feed. In solving this problem, an important role belongs to legumes and, above all, soy-beans. Soybean seeds contain up to 40% of protein with essential amino acids. This makes soybeans one of the most desirable feed ingredients for all farm animal species. The main research objective was to evaluate the influence of abiotic factors on the morphological and biological char-acteristics of the growth, development and formation of soybean yield under irrigation conditions. Soybean collec-tions which included 31 varieties were studied from 2018 through 2020. Over the years of research, the sowing dates, sowing rates, growth stages, quality indices, yield capacity and other components of the soybean plant yield were studied. The evaluation of the varieties for protein content was carried out in the Laboratory of Cereals, Leg-umes and Industrial Crops of the Institute of Bio-Resources. The article provides information on the environmental problems of the Alinjachai basin under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors. It is noted that the Alinjachai basin is one of the largest river basins in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The history of human settlement here dates back to ancient times, and at the same time it is one of the fastest growing areas of agriculture and animal husbandry. Provides information about the morphometry of the river, gives detailed information about the climatic features of the area, climatic types, distribution of precipitation by seasons and months, types of landscape. Ancient settlements in this area, agricultural development, population growth, climate change have led to an increase in anthropogenic impact on nature, and, thus, environmental problems have arisen. In particular, climate change has led to a decrease in biomass, accelerated erosion and desertification. In the past, the Alinjachai River provided the population's water needs throughout the year, but today the Alinjachai River is one of the drying up rivers.

The agricultural sector is of particular importance not only for ensuring food safety, but also for maintaining an ecological balance. The result of the rapid development of human activity over the past century in all areas of the economy has been a negative attitude towards the environment and overexploitation of natural resources. As in most countries, the Republic of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to solving the problems of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources. Agricultural production is basically a way of using nature to obtain crops and livestock products. The links between agriculture and nature are varied and complex. It must take care of nature, otherwise it will not be able to maintain the level of production and ensure the quality of products. And yet, most importantly, it will not be able to maintain the health of the population.

Abstract:
A healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren and students is closely tied to systematic physical education, which plays a crucial role in the overall development and well-being of young people. Regular physical activity helps to enhance physical fitness, improve mental health, and foster social skills. Schools and universities serve as key platforms for promoting health, as physical education not only strengthens the body but also nurtures discipline, teamwork, and emotional resilience. Physical education programs, when well-structured and balanced, can significantly contribute to the prevention of diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart-related conditions, which are becoming more common among children and adolescents. These programs incorporate a variety of activities, including aerobic exercises, strength training, and sports, that promote physical health and enhance cognitive abilities. Additionally, they encourage the development of healthy habits that students can carry with them into adulthood. Moreover, systematic physical education fosters mental clarity, reduces stress, and increases focus, which are essential for academic performance. The regular inclusion of sports in school curriculums not only promotes physical well-being but also encourages a sense of community and cooperation among students. In Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, physical education has been increasingly integrated into the national educational framework, reflecting the growing recognition of its importance for the overall health of the population. With a focus on holistic development, the aim is to cultivate a generation of young individuals who not only excel academically but also lead healthy, active lives.

Abstract:
The paper deals with the results of excavations carried out in recent years in the Early Bronze Age kurgans in the mountainous part of the south-eastern region of Azerbaijan. It has been determined that there are several types of burial customs of this period in these small kurgans located on the Komani plateau between Kurekchi and Arvana villages of Yardimly district, on the Azerbaijan - Iran border. Although the Early Bronze Age Telmankend kurgans were excavated in the foothills of the region in the 1960s, such monuments were not excavated or even registered in the highlands. at these grave monuments, which were first discovered by us in the summer pastures in 2014, archaeological excavations began in 2018, and four kurgans were excavated here.
Komani kurgans, built at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level, are important in terms of studying the burial customs of the Early Bronze Age semi-nomadic cattle-breeding population. Excavations of Komani kurgans have revealed that the high mountainous area of the south-eastern region of Azerbaijan had been used by the cattle-breeding population since the Early Bronze Age, where they were engaged in seasonal farming and carried out their burials. The lack of grave goods during the burial is explained by their temporary residence in the summer pastures. Undoubtedly, the presence of short-term settlements of cattle-breeding tribes near the kurgans is no exception. Building of Early Bronze Age Komani kurgans in the afore-said area from the chronological viewpoint is distinguished due to their small size. As for the later stages of the Bronze Age, dozens of big kurgans can be found here. However, no archeological excavations have been carried out in any of them so far. Similar burial customs and materials of Komani kurgans are mostly found in the Early Bronze Age monuments of Nakhchivan. Similar burials can be found in other coeval grave monuments of Azerbaijan and in the north-eastern provinces of Iran.

Abstract:
Geobotanical, floristic, systematic, ecological studies were carried out to study the flora and vegetation of the administrative regions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The purpose of the study was to study flora and vegetation, to look for new taxa of wild and cultivated flora of the region. Before our research (1970), in the flora of Nakhchivan the Berberidaceae family was represented by only 3 species of the Berberis genus: B. integerrima Bunge, B. iberica Steven, B. vulgaris L. During long-term (1970-2023) research, we identified 3 more species: B. heteropoda Schrenk, B. thunbergii f. atropurpurea and during the expedition on May 10, 2023, the species Berberis aquifolium Pursh was found. It was introduced as a highly ornamental shrub. Thus, based on literary sources and the results of our research, it has been established that 14 wild and cultivated species (and two forms) of barberry are widespread in Azerbaijan. During the research, attention was paid to the habitat conditions of the newly identified taxa, their morphobiological, useful and bioecological features were studied for further rational use. Barberry species are valuable useful plants. Because of the research, it is recommended to create plantations of industrial importance for rational, long-term use, improve, increase productivity, and protect natural thickets and their populations.

Abstract:
In this study, we examined a total of 43 samples belonging to three Ellobius lutescens populations from Turkey, Iran and Nakhchivan, which are geographically separated by the Zagros, Tendürek and Alborz mountain ranges. We applied geometric morphometric methods (GMMs) to explore the differences in size and shape of the cranium and mandible. Indeed, we intriguingly found that the populations differed in cranium but not mandible size. Comparison of the Iranian and Turkish populations alone revealed morphological differences in the shape of the cranium and mandible that could be used as a barometer to predict the origin of individual animals. Importantly, our findings indicate that the Zagros and Tendürek mountain ranges may have acted as a barrier between these two populations, resulting in evolutionary divergence in these anatomical features. Consequently, we propose that within E. lutescens, subspecies including E. lutescens woosnami exists and in time, genetic, besides geographical barriers, may prevent subspecies from interbreeding with each other.

Abstract:
Hyacinthella atropatana (Hyacinthaceae) is endemic to South Transcaucasia and is also listed in the Red Book of Plants of Armenia under the EN (Endangered) category. There are three known locations of this species, namely the Darelegis and Meghri floristic regions (Armenia) and Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan). The comparative anatomical analysis of H. atropatana specimens from both Armenian populations was conducted for the first time. The results revealed no anatomical differences between the examined specimens. The observed anatomical features, including the mechanical tissue in the scape and palisade tissue in the leaf, underscore the species’ xerophilic adaptations. Our research contributes also novel quantitative data to supplement existing literature. An evaluation of the species’ anatomical traits in relation to other investigated Hyacinthella and Scilla species substantiates H. atropatana’s closest structural similarity to the genus Hyacinthella, particularly regarding scape and leaf anatomy. At the same time, H. atropatana was distinguished from the representatives of both genera by having the smallest number of vascular bundles in both the scape and the leaf, as well as a smaller number of cortex layers in the scape. The data obtained confirmed the previous opinion on the uniqueness of this species. A comprehensive study of the pollen characteristics of H. atropatana was conducted also for the first time. It revealed a noticeable palynomorphological similarity between the two Armenian populations, as well as between samples collected in Armenia and Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan), which may be attributed to the considerable resemblance of their habitats. Additionally, our research established that within the Hyacinthella genus, H. atropatana is distinctive both in the size of pollen grains (somewhat larger than those noted for other studied species) and the uniqueness of pollen exine ornamentation. The data received support the previously proposed assumption about some isolation of this species within the Hyacinthella genus and its placement in a separate section, Atropatana.

Abstract:
Being pollinators of entomophilous plants, bees are part of natural complexes of agrolandscapes due to their species composition. Pollination of flowers by bees on the territory of Nakhchivan mainly occurs within 700-1300hours in the morning. The maximum value of the number of bees in crops was recorded at 1100-1300 hours. The main pollinators of alfalfa and other fodder plants are representatives of Andrena, Melitturga, Halictus, Nomia, Rophitoides, Melitta, Anthidium, Osmia, Eucera, Megachile, Lithurgus, Anthophoraand Bombus genera. Our monitoring of bee populations in natural conditions and the application of a system for predicting expected changes serve their effective utilization, protection, and creation of favorable conditions for their aggregation in agro- and various coenosis.

Abstract:
Spatial distribution, species structure and ecological indicators of macrozoobenthos of flowing water bodies by altitude belts of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were studied. Macrobenthos fauna of the rivers of the region is formed in psammoreophilic, phytoreophilic and peloreophilic biocenoses with a great advantage of lithoreophilic biocenosis. The lithoreophilic biocenosis of rivers of the mountain and high-mountain belts is characterized by extensive area and abundance of species diversity. The core of the lithoreophilic biocenosis is composed of populations of rheophilic organisms such as moths, mayflies, vernal pools and simulids; its usual inhabitants are also rheophilic larvae of chironomids of the genus Polypedilum, Endochironomus, Eukiefferiella, Cricotopus and Orthocladius. The family composition of the fauna was found to be relatively stable along the rivers. Differences in the species composition of macrobenthos fauna, change of dominant species in biocenoses are related to biological features of the main species, anthropic and anthropogenic impacts, as well as different time of research. The species composition of macrozoobenthos of the rivers of the autonomous republic decreases from the source to the mouth.

Abstract:
The historical causes of population settlement have been investigated, the impact of settlement and population density on land degradation in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been studied in this article. At the same time, solutions of the problems of prevention of degradation have been explored. As Nakhchivan is one of the ancient cities of the world, the history of human impact on the environment is very old. During the historical period, as a result of human activity, lands have been degraded and modernized. Results of research, using statistics and through ArcGis software, location of settlements on altitude zones population settlement by regions, density, settlement maps and tables have been compiled for the altitude zones. It was determined that, the population is more densely populated in plains, foothills, river valleys with fertile soils close to water. As a result of intensive use, soil fertility has decreased, salinization and erosion processes have led to soil degradation. The results of our scientific research are reflected in maps and tables.

Abstract:
The article, based on the archival source – the first full description of the Nakhchivan Armenian colony, compiled by the Governor of Taganrog, Baron Balthasar von Campenhausen – comprehensively examines the organization and activities of the town of Nakhchivan (on the Don) and its surrounding villages, founded in accordance with the charter of Catherine II by Armenians resettled from the Crimea in 1778-1779. The author of the article, following the compiler of the «Description», analyzes the composition of the colony's population, its social and professional structure, the land supply of townspeople and settlers and the importance of land holdings for the city's budget. Information about the number and condition of the dwelling houses, stores, coffee houses, taverns, inns, as well as churches and other urban public buildings is given. Provided are the characteristics of the urban economy, water supply and its improvement. Therefor given a fairly complete picture of the life of the city. Baron's Balthasar von Campenhausen «Description» proves that not only trade (local and transit), but also crafts and industrial production (fish, tannery, brick, tile and other factories) were developed in Nakhchivan. In addition, the financial state of the city and the organization of its management are also considered.

Abstract:
On May 28, 1918, the first democratic parliamentary republic in the Muslim East was proclaimed – the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR), which from the first days of its existence relied on the principles of democracy and equality of people , granting all citizens of the country the same rights, and eliminated racial, national, religious, and social inequality. ADR sought to establish good-neighborly relations with all states of the region. However, in order to enforce its territorial claims to Azerbaijan, Armenia further expanded the boundaries of the massacres of the local population in the territories of Karabakh, Zangezur, Nakhchivan, etc. The article provides detailed information about Armenia’s groundless territorial claims to Azerbaijan in 1918-1920.

Abstract:
Abstract At present one of the main problems that toponymy face with is the study of ethnonym-based place names spread in different regions of the world. The semantic analysis of such toponyms, as well as the study of the features of their formation is actual in terms of studying the ethnogenesis of nations and the historical ethno-demographic composition of the population in different regions. The article deals with the Kangarli region, located in the northwest of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, located near the most ancient centers of civilization in the Middle East and distinguished by its unique features In order to reveal scientific truths, both toponyms were analyzed in depth, both structurally and semantically, and comparative analyzes and analogies were made between them. A multidisciplinary approach to the issue was put forth for a more in-depth analysis of ethno-toponyms. Such analyzes make it necessary to study ethno-toponyms not only in terms of linguistics, but also in the historical context of ethnogenesis.

Abstract:
One of the conflicts that has shaken the region the most and negatively affected the level of life in the South Caucasus, where Russia has always been a hotbed of conflict for centuries (Jafarli, 32-33, Nakhchivan), is the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict, which started and continues for more than 30 years, between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Many narratives and interpretations have been created about the Karabakh conflict, which has been going on between the states of Armenia and Azerbaijan for about 28 years, with more than 30 thousand casualties and hundreds of thousands of refugees . However, most of these discourses approach the events from a political point of view. Undoubtedly, women are among the most affected people in the Karabakh war because of the losing of breadwinner in the family in patriarchal culture discouraged them from building a career . And there is no official assessment of the situation in terms of women who directly or indirectly affected from the conflict in the region. It is essential to reveal the difficulties of conflict-affected women and what should be done from the perspectives of women. Therefore, the main purpose is to understand Karabakh from the views of conflict- affected women by the consequences of the wars between 1988-1994 and 2016-2021. Furthermore, this research seeks to explore what rural women think about the conflict and its solution. Inclusive and sustainable peacebuilding requires the voices of women to be heard and it is important to know the women's perspectives to prepare populations for peace . This study gives an opportunity to reveal the true thoughts of the women living in the region and how a solution should be founded out according to them. By documenting these perspectives, it will demonstrate how the local and central governments should pay attention to the opinions of the rural women impacted by the conflict. In the study, theoretical information was given with an overview of the history of the Karabakh Conflict, and in the implementation part, in-depth interviews, which is a technique of qualitative research method, were conducted with 10 rural women who witnessed the war directly or indirectly. In the findings, a general overview has been tried to be put forward.
