Background and aims – Cardinal orientation of individuals is one of the least known and understood ecological or demographic factor governing the dynamics of epiphytic orchid populations. The circular distribution of three epiphytic orchids, Oncidium poikilostalix, Oncidium guatemalenoides and Lepanthes acuminata, was studied in shaded coffee plantations in the region of Soconusco, Chiapas, Mexico. A preference for a certain cardinal orientation on the phorophytes was analyzed, using circular statistics. Methods – Circular distribution tendencies were compared betwee

Abstract:
The processes of decomposition of a porophore (azodicarbonamide) and foaming with its use of polyvinyl chloride compositions with different melt viscosities have been investigated and compared. The change in the viscosity of the PVC melts in the range from 5000 to 70,000 Pa·s was carried out by filling (with chalk) and plasticization (with dioctylphthalate). A general mathematical model that describes and relates the kinetics of gas evolution during the decomposition of porophore and foaming of polymer melts with different viscosities has been developed.

Three new species of the lumbriculid genus Eremidrilus Fend & Rodriguez, 2003 are described from rivers in California, Nevada and Idaho, USA. The new species share the typical characters of the genus: a filiform proboscis, semiprosoporous male ducts and atria in X, spermathecae paired in the postatrial segment and male pores usually associated with distinct porophores. Species in Eremidrilus have either two spermathecal segments, XI and XII, or only one, XI. Blue light (BL) plays an important role in regulation of the growth and development of aquatic plants and land plants. However the factors that interact with the SjAUREO under BL conditions specifically are not clear. The new geochemical data on rare and rare earth elements and their interpretation together with those previously published for syenite-porphyries of the Olekminsk stock of the Chara-Sinsk dyke swarm of the Vilyui paleorift will be present in the report. The features of the felsic rocks formation, their belonging to the magmatism of the Yakutsk-Vilyui large igneous province will be show. A mixture of indicators of the different sources has been established for quartz syenite porphyries: both depleted mantle (plume) and oceanic island basalts (OIB).
