Abstract:
Cleanbot is a smartphone-controlled floor cleaning robot designed to automate the cleaning process with minimal manual intervention. It features two cleaning modes Mopping and Wiping which enhance its versatility for various applications in the cleaning industry. The robot communicates via Bluetooth using an HC-05 module, which transmits commands to an Arduino NANO microcontroller. A 12V lead-acid battery powers the system, supplying the required voltage for all motors. The robot's movement is driven by 100 RPM motors, while 60 RPM plastic-geared motors operate the mopping mechanism. Designed

Pollution and climate change due to the use of fossil fuel can no longer be denied, and this coupled with a waning supply of oil leads one to inevitably conclude that a clean, sustainable energy source is needed. That source is solar energy, the cleanest, safest, and most environmentally friendly energy source we have. In this paper, a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy system is used to generate electricity that will recharge a battery (DC 12V). The portable recharged battery will serve as the energy source for an electric vehicle. Moreover, in order to reduce manpower, a PC-based remote electric

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is the cleanest fossil fuel available, producing less carbon emissions and fewer pollutants than other fossil fuels. Marine transportation is a key process in the LNG supply chain. The use of tank containers, which are portable equipment, can effectively facilitate multi-mode transportation. LNG evaporation causes pressurization, which is a safety concern during transportation. Ship motion and environmental temperature are the main factors affecting pressure variations. In this study, the effect of ship motion on pressurization and holding time was investigated thro

Highlights Guidelines for measuring ASP® 602 concentrations with a spectrophotometer or turbidimeters were established. Concentration predictions had errors between 0.1% and 24.6% for the range from 0 to 100 ppm with the instruments. Stationary and portable instruments were able to detect ASP® 602 concentrations as low as 2 ppm. Test results from ISO 22368-1 validated that ASP® 602 could be used for inspecting cleanout and agitation systems. Abstract. Abstract Alternative fuels have gained considerable attention because of their excellent sustainable energy conservation and emission reduction characteristics. In this study, emission characteristics and fuel economy of three alternative fuels were compared for a passenger car under real-world running conditions. Specifically, the portable emission measurement system (PEMS) was used to evaluate the emission performance of 10 vol.% ethanol in gasoline (E10), 15 vol.% methanol in gasoline (M15), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The results showed considerable variation in both gaseous and par

Abstract Production decline caused by sand ingress was observed on 2 offshore oil wells in Brunei waters. Both wells were completed with a sub-horizontal openhole gravel pack and were subsequently shut in as the produced sand would likely cause damage to the surface facilities. In an offshore environment with limited workspace, crane capacity and wells with low reservoir pressures, it was decided to intervene the wells using a catenary coiled tubing (CT) vessel. The intervention required was to clean out the sand build up in the wells and install thru-tubing (TT) sand screens along the entire

Abstract In crude oil storage-dispensing terminals often problems are encountered regarding dispensing and processing of crude oil at near dead volume capacity of the tanks. Similar problems are encountered while cleanout procedure of tanks for maintenance and repair. In our first consideration processing of crude for treating or dehydration is brought to picture. For crude processing or tank to tank transfer problem arises below dead volume with high flow high pressure circulation pumps. The problems observed are low suction pressure, reduced flow and pressure at discharge end, frequent gas f
