Abstract:
Orphenadrine Citrate is a muscle relaxant, act as an anti- cholinergic drug and used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The objective of this study was to design a topical hydrogel formulation using Orphenadrine Citrate as a model drug. The topical administration is an alternative route that can minimize the side effects and may improve patient drug delivery. Different formulas were prepared using different gelling agents with different concentrations, CMC (1, 2 and 3% w/w), Xanthan gum (0.5, 1 and 1.5% w/w) and HPMC K40 (2, 2.5 and 3% w/w). The prepared formulas were evaluated for physi

Abstract:
This thesis entails an ethnographic exploration of the Greek economic crisis. In particular, I address the signification, materialisation, and contestation of the Greek economic crisis in a soup kitchen, a clothing bank, and a social clinic. Drawing from material gathered in the Northern Greek town of Xanthi between March 2014 and 2015, I treat alternative provisioning as an avenue to mutuality, collectivity, and egalitarianism. Moreover, I posit that the discrepancies between idealised discourses and everyday practices of provisioning offer privileged insights into perceptions and experiences

Abstract:
Diseases of the gallbladder and bile ducts are common, with gallstones and their complications being most frequent. Less common are biliary strictures, usually malignant, which are caused by adenocarcinomas of the pancreas, bile ducts, ampulla of Vater, and gallbladder. Rarely encountered are sclerosing cholangitis and a variety of congenital disorders. Disorders of the biliary system include gallstones, which cause biliary colic and cholecystitis by obstruction of the cystic duct, and bile duct obstruction (cholestasis), with jaundice, dark urine, and pale stools, itching, and sometimes const

Abstract:
Abstract Injector wells comprise a small portion of the wells drilled globally; however, they pose unique drilling fluid challenges. Required for pressure support and production maximization, these wells can be costly if the desired level of injectivity cannot be achieved without first flowing them back. Traditional drill-in fluids (DIFs) contain starch and xanthan, the latter is known to impair injectivity due to its poor acid solubility. This paper describes the development of an aqueous reservoir drilling fluid targeted for injector wells. A brine-based reservoir drilling fluid was designed
