Prezentovaný test je, i přes popsané slabiny, využitelný v oblasti školního poradenství (ať již jde o činnost poradenských center při vysokých školách nebo o činnost pedagogicko-psychologických poraden), zejména při diagnostice specifických poruch učení (dyslexie a dysortografie). Jako zásadní se přitom jeví spíše stanovení vhodných intervenčních strategií, než samotné stanovení diagnózy. Pro dobrou analýzu a interpretaci výsledků v rámci jednotlivých subtestů i dílčích škál je ovšem nezbytné dobře rozumět teoriím, vysvětlujícím etiologii a symptomatologii poruch učení, tedy předpokladům, na základě kterých byl test konstruován. Vzhledem k psychometrickým charakteristikám, které test vykazuje, se pro stanovení závěrů a doporučení jeví jako zcela zásadní kvalitativní analýza dosažených výsledků. A jejich rozbor v kontextu anamnestických údajů a dalších vodítek (pozorování, výstupy z předchozích vyšetření, analýza studijních materiálů apod.) Značná opatrnost by na straně administrátora měla být zejména při analýze a interpretaci výsledků dosažených v rámci subtestů Vnímání neznámých grafémů a Vnímání neznámých fonémů. Proto by měl být využíván výhradně psychology a speciálními pedagogy s odpovídající kvalifikací a zkušeností v diagnostice specifických poruch učení.

Shaken baby syndrome je nejčastěji způsoben prudkým třesením a cloumáním s kojencem nebo malým dítětem, přičemž nezáleží na tom, za jakou část těla dítěte je cloumáno a třeseno, za nohy, ruce, hrudník či ramena. Prudké třesení může mít za následek poškození mozku (které vede až k mentální retardaci, poruchám řeči nebo učení), paralýzu, epileptické záchvaty, ztrátu sluchu nebo dokonce smrt. Může také způsobit krvácení do mozku nebo v okolí očí s následkem slepoty. V příspěvku jsou uvedeny výsledky experimentů, které byly provedeny s biomechanickým modelem kojence. Autor uvádí hodnoty zrychlení hlavy, které dosáhli probandi průměrné výkonnosti. Potvrdila se hypotéza, že třesením v krátkém časovém úseku po dobu několika sekund je člověk schopen způsobit přetížení, které dosahuje kritické hranice pro přežití při vnitřním poranění hlavy poškodit dítě.

V předkládané studii jsou uvedena normativní česká data pro zkoušky čtenářských dovedností pro žáky 9. tříd základních škol a 1. ročníků středních škol. Dále byly identifikovány faktory, které mohou mít vliv na výkony žáků ve čtenářských zkouškách – jedná se o věk žáků, kdy se rychlost hlasitého i tichého čtení překvapivě mírně zpomaluje, u žáků 1. ročníků má pak na čtenářské výkony vliv typ navštěvované střední školy. Při srovnání výkonů žáků 9. tříd a 1. ročníků středních škol nebyly nalezeny téměř žádné rozdíly. Zabývali jsme se také schopnosti nástrojů odlišit děti s vývojovou poruchou učení, která se na našich datech projevila. Zkoumána byla souvislost potichu čteného textu s porozuměním čtenému. Ověřovány byly také psychometrické charakteristiky jednotlivých zkoušek. Pro praktické využití odbornými pracovníky je v příloze článku uveden metodický list pro práci s normami. Tato data pomohou pracovníkům pedagogicko-psychologických poraden lépe zhodnotit kvalitu čtenářských dovedností žáků.

This thesis focuses on relationship between specific learning disorders and conduct disorders in puberty. The theoretical part explains the basic terms apearing in the thesis such as specific learning disorders, conduct disorders, puberty and prevention of conduct disorder formation. It presents Czech and foreign research which have already been done in this and related areas. The empirical part uses a quantitative method to measure anxiety and occurrence of conduct disorders in second grade students in 2. ZŠ in Třeboň and ZŠ Londýnská in Prague. Data gained from children with specific learning disorder are compared with data from children without disorder.

The thesis focuses on adolescents with specific learning disabilities in the milieu of secondary schools. It is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The first part introduces a topic of specific learning disabilities in the developmental stage of adolescence. It first describes the most relevant aspects of adolescent development. The attention is then paid to typical manifestations of specific learning disabilities in adolescence, and also to secondary symptoms usually connected with this diagnosis. Finally, the so called positive aspects of specific learning disabilities are described, which is a rather unknown approach to specific learning disabilities in the Czech Republic. The empirical part aims to map coping strategies of adolescents with specific learning disabilities within the school environment. It attempts to identify manifestations of specific learning disabilities and it differentiates them into a typical school problems and everyday life problems. The data lead to a description of various approaches and strategies which adolescents with specific learning disabilities use to cope with demands of their study. ANNOTATION Our thesis is focused on the problems of pupils` learning disorders at primary school. Our thesis is divided into three parts. In the theoretic one we outline problems of learning disorders, especially dysgraphia and dysorthographia. We focus especially on diagnostics and opportunities for remedy and compensation of these learning disorders. The second part analyses the number of pupils with learning disorders at primary school and determinates the level of teacher awareness of these problems of pupils` learning disorders. The third part of out thesis is the practical one. There was made the list of suggestions of work with pupils with learning disorders and we find suitable publications focused on the remedy of learning disorders. The aim of our thesis is to analyse the number of pupils with learning disorders at primary school and to find the extent of teachers` awareness of these problems. The thesis is documented with number of charts and graphs including supplementory material.

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of prediction of specific learning disabilities among children of preschool age. The thesis is divided into two consequent parts a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part I focus mainly on the etiology and the diagnosis of specific learning disabilities. The thesis focuses mainly on given examples of a few predictive batteries from Czech and even foreign authors. The practical part contains results of a research survey where are the data I collected through predictive battery of British authors: Nicolson and Fawcett: The Dyslexia Early Screening Test. The main objective of the diploma thesis was to find out the possibility of using this test by pedagogical workers at pre-schools in order to avoid specific learning disabilities. For the research, the quantitative research method was used.

This thesis deals with determining the risks regarding specific learning disorders in preschool children. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and the second one is practical. The theoretical part focuses on issues connected with specific learning disorders. The issues contain four chapters. The first chapter is divided into definitions, types, causes and manifestations of specific learning disorders. The second chapter deals with general diagnostics, the diagnostic in the first grade and specialist centres. The next chapter describes the child's characteristic. Its physical, emotional and cognitive development. The last chapter deals with prevention, describing various diagnostic tests and methods. The practical part introduces the standardised test used, results of the research survey and the following interpretation of the results. The aim of this work was to find out whether the standardised test could be used in preschool education. The quantitative method was used for fulfilling the goal.

In view of the fact that diagnosis is usually made in younger scholl age, for the difficulties reveal mostly during getting the knack of reading, writing and counting, a considerable part of this work deals only with the children with specific learning difficulties. The reason is the necessity to understand the manifestations and difficulties that originate from the specific learning difficulties and that have an influence on the adulthood.

This master thesis is about university students with specific learning difficulties (SLD). The aim of this piece of work is firstly to evaluate the existing research in this area in the selected Czech and English publications, to find the most serious problems of university study for students with SLD, as well as possibilities of solutions of them and support. Along with the summarization and evaluation of the literature, we analyze English journal articles about the problems of university students with specific learning difficulties gained from bibliographic search. The goal is to describe the level of research in this area. In the practical part of my work, mixed methods were used to gain quantitative and qualitative data. A semi-structured questionnaire targeted for university students with SLD was used to find out about respondents' experience with university study, the biggest problems with the study, how they solve them and what influence specific learning difficulties have on different areas of individuals' lives. The questionnaire research was held in Scotland and the Czech Republic. The aim of this diploma work is to describe the situation in education of children in older pupilage with speciál learning disabilities at primary school in Prague and to determinate concrete pedagogical and student needs. Then is the work focused on creating an enumeration of possible methods and procedures that may contribute to optimalization of care about children with learning disabilities in the school background with taking into account of after school activities. In the theoretical part I mention summary of existing findings from the area of specific learning disabilities and characterisation of children in older pupilage with a view to psychosocial position of children with speciál learning disabilities. In the practical part I analyse and explicate the data obtained by quesdonnaire survey and supplemental interviewing with pedagogical workers from monitored primary school. On the basis of determination of problematical areas in care for children with learning disabilities in older pupilage I summarise possible approaches to education with application of my own pedagogical cxpcriences and litera ture.
