Abstract:
It is well known that syntactic configurations such as active vs passive are not interchangeable in all contexts and that they can be interpreted adequately only within the framework of the discourse. It is our contention that precisely the same phenomenon underlies the way in which possession is expressed in Romanian, and we argue that Romanian exploits the possibility of two distinct predicative relationships in this respect: "Possessor possesses possessum" and "possessum belongs to Possessor". A similar explanation is given for the choice between lui and sau with a third person Possessor, a fact of Romanian grammar not hitherto understood.

Abstract:

Abstract:
In this article, possessivity is considered to be a linguistic way of integrating an object (thing) into a relation, connected, first of all, with the idea of owning, wealth and property. Owning a thing is one of the most important concepts regulating social relations. The grounds on which a thing belongs to its holder, in various legal and cultural traditions, often serve as justification of the material advantage and the manifestation of privileges. The relations of possessivity aimed at holding the object in the subject’s sphere are proposed to be constructed in the form of cognitive models, the content of which is the multidirectional process, which is reflected in the semantics of linguistic units and has lingua-cultural specifics. The article proposes cognitive models of possessive relations and describes the language tools representing the structural components of the constructed cognitive models. The relevance of various characteristics to the compared languages and cultures based on the comprehensive analysis of verbalization of the structural components of these models has been identified in this work.

Abstract:
Abstract The paper presents a novel and unified morphological description of numerals and pronouns, as compiled for the newest edition of the Prague Dependency Treebank (Prague Dependency Treebank – Consolidated 1.0) and its integral part the morphological dictionary MorfFlex. On the basis of considerable experience with real data annotation and the use of the morphological dictionary, particular changes were proposed. For both of the parts of speech a new set of subtypes was proposed, based mainly on the morphological criterion and its combination with semantic properties and other relevant features, such as definiteness in numerals and possessivity, reflexivity, and clitichood in pronouns. Each subtype has a specific value at the 2nd position of the morphological tag, which serves also as an indicator of the applicability of other tag categories.

Abstract:
The article presents model analysis of non-standardized names of caves and chasms of the Slovenské rudohorie mountains which follows the model analysis of anoikonyms by Jana Pleskalová, as well as the work devoted to modelling of Slovak hydronymy. The model analysis pointed out the dominance of the relational model C which expresses “properties, symptoms (and circumstances)” and the relational model A which is associated with the expression of “position, the location of underground object in the field”. The most common structural model in the given relational models is the two-member ADd+S, consisting of a derivative adjective and a noun such as Jelšavská jaskyňa, Gajdova štôlňa. Relational models (VM) referring to possessivity (VM D), especially to the immediate expression of the type of object (VM B), only have a marginal position in the proposed model analysis.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The various taboos in the contact between the sexes in Muslim culture lead to questioning the relationship between the moral and institutional foundations and the representation of sensuality on the screen. The evolution of the expression of sensuality in Tunisian cinema is atypical: it evolved from a permissive regime in the 1960s to a regime of restrictions and prohibitions. The paradoxes of this evolution are that the liberal discourse has disappeared. The central problem is the relation of man's possession to the feminine nude, and, in an ancillary manner, his approach to sensuality, eroticism, and ail that touches, near or far; the contact. The separation of the sexes is filled by voyeurism, which takes as its object a feminine world fantasized and sometimes menacing. The dramatic axis that determines the cinematographic treatment of sensuality is the spatial and social separation of the sexes. What is meant by sensuality in a system of separation of the sexes? Sensuality is the pleasure itself, passing by the look, the touch and by the appearance. How is this sensuality allowed or not allowed? The phenomenon of the separation of the sexes relative to the Tunisian society is marked in the body itself by means of the distinction and the types of behaviors required on both sides. The inter-self of the gender can slip towards heavily allusive homosexual themes

Abstract:
The article focuses on the morpho-syntactic and semantic properties of the reflexive possessive svoj in Slovak in relation to its practical application in the standard language. Being a reflexive marker, it is used to express the referential identity of the subject and possessor independently of the grammatical person. Various aspects of reflexive possessivity were analysed based on the occurrence of svoj and its equivalent forms in Slovak-German parallel corpus, which leads to the discussion regarding the functionality and relevance of the reflexive possessive svoj.
