Abstract:
In this paper, we undertake four formative assignments: (1) We introduce the idea of positive school leadership (PSL) based largely on theory and research conducted outside the educational sector and introduce four orientations that anchor PSL; (2) we develop ideas about how asset-grounded concepts of leadership can be incorporated into schooling; (3) we examine how concepts underlying PSL may affect schools, classrooms, teachers, and students; and (4) using narrative research and grounded theory we introduce an overview of empirical evidence linking PSL and valued outcomes. For heifers, beef and moderate-yielding dairy cows, it appears that the fertilisation rate generally lies between 90% and 100%. For high-producing dairy cows, there is a less substantive body of literature, but it would appear that the fertilisation rate is somewhat lower and possibly more variable. In cattle, the major component of embryo loss occurs in the first 16 days following breeding (Day 0), with emerging evidence of greater losses before Day 8 in high-producing dairy cows. In cattle, late embryo mortality causes serious economic losses because it is often recognised too late to rebree

Abstract:
We present a simple and effective procedure to improve the finite temperature effective potential so as to satisfy the renormalization group equation (RGE). With the L-loop knowledge of the effective potential and of the RGE coefficient function, this procedure carries out a systematic resummation of large-T as well as large-log terms up to the Lth-to-leading order, giving an improved effective potential which satisfies the RGE and is exact up to the Lth-to-leading T and log terms. Applications to the one- and two-loop effective potentials are explicitly performed.

Adventitious regeneration protocols were developed for kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) using leaf tissue. Regenerants (R0) of three cultivars and R1 progeny from one cultivar were grown in greenhouse and field trials for assessment of various growth characteristics. R0 regenerants differed from control plants in the variety of stem colors displayed. On germination, a proportion of R1 seedlings were chlorophyll-deficient (albinos), whereas no control seedlings contained that mutation. Flowering date also was earlier in the R1 plants. The kenaf regeneration protocol also has been successful on H.

Euploidy in Citrus is represented by monoploids, diploids, triploids, tetraploids, pentaploids and octoploids. Further, they may also facilitate investigation of Citrus genetics. Their diversity of origins (sexual and apomictic, natural and artificial) allows flexibility in their exploitation. Summary Objectives: Hospitals are increasingly under pressure to optimize their processes. So far, an instrument to systematically identify the potentials for improvement of a given business process is missing. The aim of this project is to develop such an instrument. Methods: Initially, central aspects of the quality of a hospital process were identified on the basis of a systematic literature review. Secondary to that, criteria to measure quality aspects were defined: More than 300 criteria from medical and business informatics, economics and quality management publications were gathered and
