Abstract:
The article analyses communicative methods of avoiding communicative risks in public communication through implicit speech acts. Dialogues from three author’s programs in the interview format were used as material (“Vdud” by Y. Dud, “Sud’ba Cheloveka” (the Fate of a Man) by B. Korchevnikov, “Pozner” by V. Pozner). The communicative turns of the participants in the public dialogue, carried out by them in order to avoid an unwanted question, maintain their own image, etc., are identified and analysed. The authors distinguish the following speech maneuvering tactics at the pragmatic level: a flat refusal to answer, evading a question, a joke, irony, wordplay, hint.

Abstract:
The article examines the specifics of the perception of the “And Quiet flows the Don” in France, how the “French” view of Mikhail Sholokhov’s novel helped to popularise the work of Nobel laureate abroad; the role of French periodicals in the further awarding of Nobel Prize to the writer is analysed. Russian writer and critic, representative of the Russian literary diaspora, Vladimir S. Pozner’s response about Mikhail Sholokhov in 1959 for the newspaper “Les Lettres françaises” becomes the object of the study, affecting the reception of Mikhail Sholokhov in France. His article is an overview of the personal and creative layers of the writer’s biography. V.S. Pozner attempts to remove the barriers of misunderstanding of M.Sholokhov’s works, in which most of the narrative is occupied by a description of purely Russian realities that are not entirely understandable to a European. Thus, the critic performs an important educational function. The article about Sholokhov is an example of a fruitful cross-cultural dialogue between East and West. Before us, there is not just the reception of M.Sholokhov's heritage in France, but the perception of the Soviet through the prism of a compatriot who has been living and creating abroad long enough to be able to make M.Sholokhov's image more accessible to the European mentality, but at the same time to feel the connection between personal and creative in M.Sholokhov more multidimensional and deeply. The act of such cross-cultural communication is for V.S. Pozner himself, in a sense, a return to his own roots. Thus, the reception of M.Sholokhov's legacy in France represents a separate milestone not only in M.Sholokhov studies, but also in diaspora studies and emigrantology.

This collection of articles is one of the last achievements of the scientific project called Cinema in the Soviet Union at war, 1939-1949. This project was initiated by Valérie Pozner (CNRS, Arias THALIM) and Alexandre Sumpf (University of Strasburg, ARCHE, CERCEC) and its goal was to go way further than studies on a couple ofSoviet war films uniformly quoted by authors dealing with the role of cinema during the “Great patriotic war”. It meant to include in its scope documentaries, newsreels and cartoons in order to explore this crucial moment in the development of one of the most important creative cultures of film history.

Abstract:
Between 1989 and 2007, Poland went through numerous reforms, the aim of which was to build a democratic country based on the rule of law. At the core of the multiple transition from the communist state to democracy was devolution which has been translated at different scales, national, regional and local. Of central importance were the local government reforms. Analyses of local outcomes of democratisation need to include the difficult to measure effects which manifest themselves through activities of local authorities and local communities. The aim of this thesis is to help fill the gap in understanding the processes and outcomes of the democratic transition by investigating the functioning of democracy at the local level, focusing on local self-government and its relations with civil society in the context of democratic consolidation in one of the major cities in Poland – Poznań and two of its community-based self-governing bodies called Estates which are accessory sub-local government units. The main question of this thesis is what is democratic about Poznań’s local government today. Here, the functioning of local representative democracy and citizens’ inclusion in local decision making are key. It is argued that in a ‘healthy’ democracy the actual practices of local authorities should facilitate an increasing involvement of local residents in decision-making processes. Consequently I focused on local democratic practices trying to evaluate local government’s responsiveness, effectiveness and accountability. In the light of the prevailing opinion that civil society in CEE has been weak, the effectiveness and efficiency of civil society in Poznań and its relations with the local authorities were explored. The study was based on a combination of qualitative (interviews) and quantitative (questionnaires) methods of research. The research identifies that the activities of the local government of Poznań are symptomatic of the authorities’ recognition of the need to be responsive, effective and accountable. Poznań’s authorities have partners in civil society. Among these partners are organisations with a low level of formality, i.e. a community, neighbourhood and a group of residents which organise themselves to achieve their objectives. The environment (law, regulations and attitudes of local authorities) in which they operate was noted to be important to their activities and much effort has been put into upgrading the quality and intensity of the authorities’ communication with local residents. The learning process has reached the stage at which the democratic system has begun to improve itself, a sign of a maturing democracy. The thesis addresses a gap in the literature on the processes underpinning democratic consolidation in Poland. Its findings suggest that as the reformers of Polish local government in the years immediately following the overthrow of communist rule believed, local democracy and local democratic practices are an important component of the wider (national) project of democratic consolidation.

Nel laboratorio PQAT dell’istituto IQS School of Engineering di Barcellona si realizzano analisi quantitative di rischio per gli stabilimenti chimici classificati, secondo la direttiva Seveso, come stabilimenti a rischio di incidente rilevante. In fase di valutazione è necessario seguire un procedimento metodico che prevede fasi di calcolo manuali coadiuvate dall’utilizzo di software. La normativa catalana specifica che possono essere impiegati software commerciali come ALOHA e EFFECTS per la quantificazione del termine sorgente, mentre per la valutazione delle conseguenze fisiche legate a scenari di dispersione tossica e la generazione delle curve isorischio il gruppo IQS utilizza un codice proprio implementato in MATLAB. Col fine di rendere il procedimento completamente automatizzato, così da eliminare le fasi iniziali di calcolo supportate dai software, è stato introdotto nel programma generale un codice appositamente sviluppato in MATLAB per la quantificazione del termine sorgente in seguito a rilasci accidentali di sostanza in fase liquida. Il codice sostituisce il lavoro svolto dal software EFFECTS e fornisce informazioni relative alla quantità di sostanza rilasciata in atmosfera e allo stato fisico del rilascio, da cui è possibile procedere alla modellazione della dispersione e alla valutazione del rischio finale. Col fine di comprovarne il corretto funzionamento, il programma così ottenuto è stato utilizzato per simulare alcuni casi di rilascio relativi a serbatoi di sostanze pericolose stoccate in un’industria chimica situata nel territorio catalano. Il codice oltre ad essersi dimostrato decisamente accurato e completo, ha permesso una notevole riduzione in termini di tempo e complessità delle operazioni da svolgere per operare le analisi di valutazione del rischio secondo la metodologia IQS.

Diploma thesis deals with fighting insurance fraud from the very beginning to the end, seen from insurance company's perspective. It also tries to see insurance frauds and dealing with them not only from IT point of view, but also accompany other department's views and needs. It's starting with organizational overview and its readiness to fight fraud and trying to show, how to improve. Furthermore it introduces reader with basic terms and phrases of insurance fraud and continues with general description of this encounter. It continues with indicators of insurance fraud and its examples and strategies, how to find them in data. Next part of my thesis is focusing on available external sources and possible insurance companies' cooperation, for maximized ability to detect suspicious cases. This is continued by selection of proper system, requirements definition and its goals. Last part shows one of FMS solutions and its description, from requirements up to complete solutions architecture and screenshots of given system.

AbstractThe main goal of this paper is to present the history and actual situation in research on LCA and LCM in Poland. This task will be performed by reviewing the different activities and their results in this field, from the very beginning. The paper includes the review of the activities of LCA/LCM main research centres in Poznań (Poznań University of Technology (PUT), Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB)), Cracow (Polish Academy of Sciences, AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow University of Economics), Zielona Góra (University of Zielona Góra), Bydgoszcz (UTP University of Science and Technology), Katowice-Gliwice (Silesian University of Technology), Częstochowa (Częstochowa University of Technology) and Szczecin (ZUT Western Pomeranian University of Technology). LCA/LCM researches are also performed in several smaller research groups in R&D centres. In the end of the paper, some conclusions referring to the actual situation of research on LCA/LCM, dealing with critical evaluation of the LCA/LCM centres in Poland location, issues and problems addressed, areas of the projects covered and the desired activities in the future, are presented.

Príspevok sa venuje osobitným inštitútom rodinného práva majúcim priamy dopad na poznanie dieťaťa, kto sú jeho biologickí rodičia. Autor predmetnú problematiku analyzuje s prihliadnutím na právo dieťaťa poznať svojich rodičov, pričom pri identifikovaní obsahu predmetného práva nevychádza iba z vnútroštátnej právnej úpravy, ale naopak danú problematiku rozoberá zohľadňujúc tiež medzinárodnú právnu úpravu. Príspevok poukazuje na rôznorodosť práv a záujmov jednotlivých subjektov, ktorých sa autorom vybrané právne inštitúty ako osvojenie či surogácia dotýkajú. Autor poukazuje na stret jednotlivých práv, analyzuje jeho možné riešenie, a to s osobitným dôrazom kladeným na ochranu ľudských hodnôt v aktuálnom právnom, ale najmä spoločenskom prostredí vyznačujúcom sa výrazným pokrokom v oblasti medicíny.

U ovom radu predstavljen je algoritam za rešavanje kvadratnog, nesingularnog fazi linearnog sistema oblika AX˜ = Y˜, gde je matrica koeficijenata A data realna matrica, Y˜ je poznat, a X˜ nepoznat vektor fazi brojeva. Algoritam je zasnovan na primeni Jakobijevog postupka i prikazano je njegovo izvođenje i teorema o njegovoj konvergenciji. Rezultati su ilustrovani kroz numerički primer. Rad predstavlja prikaz rada [2].

Abstract:
The Theatre of the Eighth Day from Poznan has been the phenomenon of the Polish independent theatre. It was founded in 1964 by students of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan. As the students theatre of poetry, for the first few years it operated under the direction of Tomasz Szymanski. The change of the stage form began two years after the group was founded, when Zbigniew Osinski became involved with him. He brought fascination of the Grotowski's method. The Theatre of the Eighth Day marked their disagreement with the communism reality. Stanislaw Baranczak, one of the most talented poets of the Generation'68, joined the group. In the 1970s he was an activist of the anti-communist opposition. For last years, liberal, pro-European Poland has been experiencing an identity crisis. It seems that the demons have put in the forefront: religious obscurantism, anti-Semitism, xenophobia and sexism. Cultural and intellectual openness is replaced by populism and nationalism. The Theatre of the Eighth Day does not remain indifferent to these processes. As in the days of communism takes the side of the open society. The research methods adopted in the article are: analysis of performances, archival materials, photographs and documentary films. Interviews with actors were also conducted.
