Abstract:
Small and medium enterprises have been identified as one of the essential levers of development in EU countries. These business entities have effects on the rest of the economic system in terms of job creation, product differentiation, and the use of local real production factors. The aim of this article is to focus on the benefit these companies could derive from the practice of influence and lobbying strategies. In EU countries, influence strategy still retains an unfavorable abstract and negative connotation. The influence strategy is based on two key levers: public relations and lobbying.
