The verb-noun pairings in the Princeton WordNet were subjected to a morphosemantic analysis. The findings are shown in the standoff file, which has pairs annotated with a set of 14 semantic connections. We detected the affixes, automatically differentiated between zero-derivation and affixal derivation in the data, and manually verified the outcomes. The semantic connection between the parts of a complex sentence is determined by the unions by which they are connected. In the Dagestan languages, there are three types of creative conjunctions: connecting, separating, adversary. Parts of compound sentences are equal. The union is not included in any of the predicative parts. Compound sentences, parts of which are connected by connecting unions, can convey different semantic meanings between parts, namely: simultaneity, sequence of actions, as well as the meanings of cause and effect.
