Abstract:
By extraction of mineral resources there are created new spaces, concretely spoil heaps, which are ideal for settlement by new organisms. Based on chosen study areas trajectories of primary and secondary succession have been compared on model group of plants and additionally on aculeata hymenoptera. Research of model groups in primary succession has been conducted on spoil heaps made of substrate from lignite overburden and study of secondary succession has been conducted in foreland and around mines on spontaneously overgrown areas. Difference in number of plant species on individual sampling plots of primary and secondary succession was not significant. Each area in primary succession was not statistically significantlly different in coverage of vegetation from those areas developing under the secondary succestion. Areas of primary and secondary succesion were different in coverage of bare substrate, which more plant species were bound on. Other factors had not statistically significant effect on plant communities and aculeata hymenoptera as well.

Abstract:
This masters thesis identifies and analyzes the aspects and specifics of branding of an artist in the art industry, which is relatively different from the branding which we know from the corporate world. The first section defines the theoretical background of the branding and marketing communication with focus on those aspects that are relative to an art and its market specifics. Theoretical definition in combination with the outcome of qualitative research, which was conducted with outperforming contemporary artists and representatives of leading galleries in Czech Republic, helps to outline the most important factors and subjects influencing the artists brand creation process which is described in the practical part of this masters thesis. Besides the quality of the piece of art itself, the aspect of the strong brand is unquestionably increasing the value of artists production. Therefore, this chapter investigates those factors and subjects that have remarkable impact on the value of the artists pieces of art. The last section of this paper gives local and international best examples of contemporary artists with strong brand.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with a preparation of modified polypropylene. Modified polypropylene was prepared by reaction itaconic anhydride and compounds contain primary and secondary amino group (diaminododecane, aminoethylethanolamine and aminoethylpiperazine). Knowledge of radical and condensation modification of polypropylene were summarized in the theoretical part. New application of modified polypropylene ware summarized at the theoretical part as well. In the experimental part polypropylene was functionalized by grafting with itaconic anhydride during reactive extrusion. Extrusion was carried on the co-rotating twin-screw extruder (Brabender 25 DSE L/D = 34) at 230 °C and 30 RPM. Residence time of reactive blend was 3 minutes. The modified polypropylene PP-g-IAH) contained 0.5 wt% of itaconic anhydride. 2,5 dimethyl 2,5bis(tert buthyl-peroxy)hexane (Luperox 101) was used as a radical initiator. A ratio initiator/monomer was 1:0.6 (mol/mol). PP-g-IAH was used for condensation reaction with amino compounds in molar ratios IAH/amine from 1:0,3 to 1:1. This reaction carried out in single screw extruder (Betol 1825 L/D = 39) at 210 °C and 30 RPM. Residence time of reactive blend was 3 minutes. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used for a calculation of reaction conversion and for description of new functional groups in the materials. This analysis confirmed the presence of amide and imide groups in the samples. Influence of amino compounds to polymer crystallinity was studied by differential scanning calorimetry. Termogravimetric analysis focused on thermal stability of prepared samples and changes of thermal stability was observed in dependence of additives amount. The rheological behaviors of modified PP were analyzed by measuring the complex viscosity.

The thesis is mainly focused on the analysis and evaluation of the effects influencing the sex ratio of live births. After studying of the foreign language literature, main factors influencing the sex ratio are defined. Data used in the thesis (births by the sex) are retrieved from The Human Mortality Database, database of United Nations Statistics Division and from particular statistical offices. Based on the results of the exploratory data analysis, countries with unreliable data (data skewed due to the manipulation or due to the not appropriate standard of the registration of born) are specified. Subsequently, the countries with abnormal values of the sex ratio at birth resulting from the cultural traditions or technological development are defined. For countries with not evident influence of the factors mentioned the analysis of the relations and dependencies between sex ratio at birth and variables chosen (groups of the geographical, socioeconomics and demographical impacts). On the basis of this analysis it has been proved that the sex ratio at birth depends primarily, but not exclusively, on the total fertility rate and life expectancy.

This project deals with the theme of environmental scanning electron microscopy (EREM). This method allows the examination of insulators and wet specimens without pretreatment and modification like drying and metallization. The principle of this method consists in using higher pressure in a specimen chamber. The pressure is within the range of 100 – 200 Pa. However, the pressure in the specimen chamber restricts the signal detection interference. The objective of the work is to explore the possibility of interference in secondary electron route detection by way of electrostatic field. The electrostatic field was realized with the system consisting of four electrodes located in front of the scintillation detector. It should have interfered the secondary electron´s trajectory to the detector chamber. The optimization of voltage on the electrodes was made by simulation program called SIMION. The simulation results were experimentally verified with laboratory EREM.

Breast carcinoma is the most common type of cancer in women. In the past years its incidence as well as the mortality are increasing. Therefore it is essential to pay attention to the prevention of this disease and use all the available resources to educate doctors and patients about this. Breast carcinoma is not targeted at the desired level in Czech Republic since most patients are diagnosed at the late stages of the disease where chances of being cured are minimal. That is where preventive measures play its roles, primary and secondary prevention as well. In this paper I would like to discuss possibilities we have to prevent occurence of breast carcinoma, as well as the possibilities to diagnose those who are already ill. It is of vital importance to diagnose ill as soon as possible, at early stages where there is still a chance for survival.

Abstract:
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in female population in the Czech Republic. In 2002 the Czech Republic joined most European countries and launched nation-wide mammography screening, enabling women to attend regular preventive examinations when they reach 45 years of age. In January 2014 they started to address women to invite them for preventive breast cancer examinations, as part of a nationwide information campaign. Mortality of this cancer has been decreasing in recent years, which can be explained by the increasing quality of treatment and earlier detection of the disease. Therefore, knowledge of primary and secondary prevention is very important. The theoretical part briefly describes the anatomy of female breasts, defines a malignant tumor, as well as epidemiological aspects of breast cancer. Another chapter is about prevention itself. In the secondary prevention I describe self-examination of breasts and the history and nature of mammography screening. I also present organizations implementing preventive programs aimed at breast cancer. The practical part includes research results, which were obtained through quantitative research questionnaires. The research group consisted of women who live in the Ústí region. The questionnaire consisted of 27 questions and was answered by a group of 150 women between 18 and 44 years old and 150 women over 45 years. I handed out these questionnaires in Ústí healthcare center and I also created an electronic questionnaire which I sent across social networks. Out of the 150 (100 %) questionnaires distributed in Ústí healthcare center, I got only 60 back and 58 of them were sufficiently completed for the needs of the research, the return was only 38.7 %. I received the remaining 242 questionnaires electronically. The aim of the study was to explore the awareness of risk factors of breast cancer of women in the Ústí Region and also to find out whether women in the Ústí region carried out self-examination of breasts and if women over 45 attended regular mammography screening. Based on my research aim I set out four hypotheses. Hypothesis 1: Women in the Ústí region are informed about the risk factors of breast cancer. Hypothesis 2: Women at the age of 18 to 44 in the Usti region are more informed about the risk factors of breast cancer than women in the age group over 45. Hypothesis 3: The difference in the frequency of breast self-examination among women in the age group 18 to 44 is statistically more significant than in women in the over 45 age group. Hypothesis 4: Attending mammography examination of women over 45 in the Ústí region rises according to their level of education. The results of testing my hypotheses show that women in the Ústí region are not informed about the risk factors of breast cancer. I assumed that awareness is higher among women in the 18 to 44 age group, but even this hypothesis wasn't proven. Awareness of risk factors is on the same level in category of 18 to 44 years as in women over 45 years of age. Regarding breast self-examination, women in the above 45 years old age group carry out self-examination more often than women 18 to 44 years old. Even the last hypothesis was not confirmed, attendance of mammography doesn't appear to depend on the education of women. Awareness of women needs to increase, especially in case of risk factors of breast cancer. Awareness increase could be achieved by greater information campaign on television, in newspapers, in businesses with high numbers of working women, or in secondary and higher education through various public lectures. Over 90% of women attend Mammography screening according to my research, which are laudable results. The fact that the actual self-examination of breasts isn't carried out at all by more than half of the women in the age group 18 to 44 is serious. This work could serve as teaching or study material to improve general knowledge of this topic.

Abstract:
Arterial stiffness represented by carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (PWV) is considered to be an independent cardiovascular risk factor. This study was focused on large artery properties investigation in specific forms of hypertension using applanation tonometer Sphygmocor (Atcor Medical). PWV was significantly higher in resistant hypertension patients when compared to moderate essential hypertension (EH) patients. This difference appears to be independent of clinical blood pressure (BP). Night-time BP appears to be a more accurate predictor of PWV in EH. In another study we demonstrated that primary hyperparathyroidism (PH) (both hypertensive or non-hypertensive forms) might be associated with higher PWV when compared to EH patients or to normotensive controls and that this difference is independent of age and clinical BP. Neither calcium serum level, nor parathyroid hormone has been associated with PWV. Specific treatment by parathyroidectomy (PTX) seems to be beneficial for PWV decrease, which might be mainly determined by improved BP control after surgery. Since PTX indications for asymptomatic forms of PH have been discussed, our data suggest the potential benefit to the extent of subclinical organ damage after surgical treatment in these patients. Similarly, we prooved higher PWV in...

Abstract:
Celiac disease is a lifelong disorder characterised by permanent intolerance to gluten and typical inflammatory changes in the small intestine. These changes lead to malabsorption of all nutrients, minerals, vitamins and water. The first attack of this disorder mostly occurs in childhood because the small intestine is greatly stressed by other nutrition supply. The only effective treatment is a lifelong gluten-free diet. This thesis, called Primary, secondary and tertiary prevention in children with celiac disease, consists of two parts; a theory part for which both professional publications and internet have been used and an empirical part, that comprises research itself with its results. The research target of this thesis was the sector of celiac disease occurring in children. Within the research, there were determined four objectives. The first objective was about to find out how primary, secondary and tertiary prevention is provided to children with celiac disease in GP ambulances for children and teenagers. Another task was to trace what profits the regime education brings to parents of children having celiac disease. We also dealt with the impact of the disease on the life of the child, his/her family and surrounding society. Then we investigated whether respondents take the help from outside, state support, institutions and in-kind assistance. In the empirical part of the thesis we used a method of qualitative research. For this research we chose a method of questionings through individual semi-structured interviews with two groups of respondents. The first group was made of nine nurses working in GP ambulances for children and teenagers having celiac disease. The second group was formed by nine children with celiac disease and their parents. The outcome of the research indicates that for quality health care supply it is important to obtain family anamnesis, carry out regular physicals in stated intervals within growth measurement monitoring and breastfeeding education and add other nutrition to diet. Monitoring suspicious symptoms, such as failure to thrive, inexplicable weight loss, growth retardation, abdominal pain, recurrent diarrhoea, digestive discomfort, dermatitis, stomatitis, anaemia, can soon detect celiac disorder. The secondary prevention is expressed by the work of nurses, such as biological material analysis, education, advice, help and support. Great urgency is given to risk factor monitoring, such as diabetes mellitus, Down syndrome, thyroid disorder, or genetic predispositions. The tertiary prevention is focused on the adaptation support of the child and his/her family to this chronic disorder, normal growth, and whole constitution examining and complication prevention. The outcomes indicate that the biggest problem of celiac people is financial burden of gluten-free food and also frequent limits in out-of- home eating. The financial burden of the diet influences, for example, vacation planning. It is necessary for the society to respect their disease, for example, canteens and teachers should have knowledge of the diet restrictions and provide suitable feeding. Furthermore, our findings show that only few families use financial support, because they are afraid of negative allowance examination because of their comfortable income. They mainly use allowance from Health Insurance Companies. On the grounds of the acquired information has been created an informative handout for the parents of the children with the celiac disease. The results of our research will be provided to the nurses who work in general practitioner ambulances.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the research of primary and secondary magnetic fabric of aeolian loess sediments and paleosols on the cross-section temporary cropping out during the construction work in Prague 6. Magnetic enrichment - and the formation of magnetic nanoparticles in soil horizons - occurs during pedogenesis in warmer interglacials periods. The aim of this work is the interpretation of the paleoenvironment, weathering and pedogenic processes, by measuring the magnetic properties of sediments. Magnetic susceptibility, frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility, anhysteresis remanent magnetization and natural remanent magnetization are used to detect the increased occurrence of magnetic particles, which indicate these pedogenic processes. The most developed paleosol horizon within the cross-section was the horizon of black soil and subsoil brown soil. Small signs of pedogenesis were revealed in the upper and lower loess part of the section. The magnetic fabric of loess, measured by means of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility, reflects secondary sedimentary processes. This involves the displacement of clastic particles by flowing water and the redeposition of the material along the slope. The direction of movement of these sediments corresponds to the current geomorphology of the...

Abstract:
As the title reveals, the thesis deals with primary and secondary prevention of colorectal carcinoma among people over 50 years of age. Colorectal carcinoma, i.e. tumour disease of the colon or rectum, is a serious disease with increasing incidence. The Czech Republic has one of the highest incidence rates of this disease and is at the forefront of global statistics. Every year, about 8000 people are diagnosed with colorectal carcinoma in our country and about 4000 patients die of this disease every year. Almost four people out of ten have vicarious experience with colorectal carcinoma, claiming that someone in their immediate vicinity has developed this disease. Early detection of the disease is thus of crucial importance. Prevention and diagnostics play a major role because tumours detected at an early stage can be treated well. It is reported that lifestyle, the right regimen, plenty of physical activity, wholesome food with an appropriate proportion of fibre and vitamins have a 60 to 80 % impact on the development of carcinoma. The disease poses a threat mainly to people over fifty years of age and people with genetic predispositions. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of several chapters. First of all, I will be dealing with the basic anatomy and physiology of the colon and rectum. Then I will be dealing with the colorectal carcinoma itself, its development, symptoms, incidence or epidemiological aspects of the disease in the Czech Republic. I will be dealing with the risk factors of colorectal carcinoma that include age, lifestyle, as well as hereditary predispositions. A large part of the thesis is dedicated to colorectal carcinoma prevention. I will be focusing on primary and secondary prevention, including the faecal occult blood test and colonoscopy. Finally, I will touch on diagnostics and treatment of colorectal carcinoma. The practical part makes use of the research data obtained through a quantitative interrogation method, a questionnaire. The questionnaire was anonymous and included 32 questions. The first group of the questions was focused on basic information about the respondents. The rest of the questions concerned respondents´ awareness of colorectal carcinoma, its risk factors and potential prevention. I explored the respondents´ attitudes to lifestyle, their concern for tumour diseases in general, as well as whether they regularly see their physician. A substantial part of the questionnaire was devoted to questions regarding the occult blood test and colorectal screening. The questionnaire was intended for people over 50 years of age. The purpose of the thesis was to map awareness of the risk factors of colorectal carcinoma, look into awareness of the options of secondary prevention of colorectal carcinoma and whether people attend regular screenings. I examined the importance of giving media publicity to the disease and thus related interest in this issue. I wished to know whether there is a gender difference in the interest in undergoing colorectal screening. Four hypotheses were established in the research. Hypothesis 1: People over the age of 50 are informed about the risk factors of colorectal carcinoma. This hypothesis was confirmed. Hypothesis 2: People over the age of 50 know the options of secondary prevention of colorectal carcinoma. This hypothesis was only partially confirmed. Hypothesis 3: The number of colorectal screenings undergone by women over the age of 50 is statistically more significant than that of man over 50 years of age. This hypothesis was not confirmed for the occult blood test. However, men underwent colonoscopy more often. Hypothesis 4: The interest in undergoing colorectal screening increases with the level of education attained. The actual proportion of those who underwent an occult blood test or colonoscopy does not differ depending on education, and therefore hypothesis number 4 was not confirmed.

Abstract:
Child care is one of the most important tasks important for the health of entire population. Many social structures are involved in comprehensive child care. The family is an irreplaceable part of society. However, in the health sector, pediatric represents the basic part of childcare, as a field of development of an individual. The largest volume of health services represents ambulatory primary care, ie General practitioner for children and adolescents in cooperation with a nurse. The nurse organizes and manages nursing care in pediatrics, takes care of healthy and sick children, and focuses on cooperations with families of the children. The main of the thesis was to find out what is the content of nursing care provided by a nurse in primary pediatric care. Among other things, we were also interested in the staffing of GPs for children and adolescents area and, last but not least, the possibilities of further education of nurses in this area. Then we have put five research questions. We gained the necessary data for processing the empirical part of this thesis through a semi-structured interview. Altogether, 15 interviews with respondents from the South Bohemian Region were analyzed. From the research data we were able to answer research questions. The research showed that the dominant activities of the nurse's work in the general practitioner's office for children and adolescents are preventive examinations, vaccinations, education, documentation, and good office practice. In addition, we found out that nurses do not have nursing documentation, most nurses do not perform patient care at home and do not recommend vaccination against rotavirus infections. Both pediatric and pediatric nursing carers they rated as being of a good quality, compared to the world. However, what they do not like is the current nursing education. We believe that this thesis could be very useful as a study material for medical students and also for the general public, as an outline of the nurse's work contents in GPs for children and adolescents.

Abstract:
Primary school choice - an important mechanism influencing equity in education Jaroslava Simonová Abstract This dissertation describes the process of school choice in primary education and the factors influencing it. Using a qualitative grounded theory design, the work builds on data from 41 interviews with parents from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Parents' decision-making about school choice is shaped primarily by the organizational needs of parents and their inner need to be a "good parent". When being interviewed, parents report a number of criteria, which, according to them, are important in school choice. However, for many of them they fail to obtain relevant and reliable information. Therefore, they may eventually make a decision based on criteria other than those referred to as important, although they are rarely aware of this shift and the change in criteria. There are three unavoidable criteria in decision-making: availability, reputation and the emotions that parents experienced at school during their visit. The child's needs are the important intervening conditions. They play an important role, especially if the parents feel that their child has some particular needs. The parents' experience with the education system and their personality characteristics are also important. The significant...

The diploma thesis focuses on a landscape study of specifically chosen area near town of Letohrad. A prerequisite of the thesis was to choose an area, which conceals potential traces of designed landscape. The first part of thesis deals with matters of designed landscapes, landscape evaluation (analysis of primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure) and identification of designed landscape according to Kulištáková (2014). The result of this survey is finding that the chosen area is indeed a part of designed landscape which is only partially preserved. However, no uniting philosophical idea was found to support the whole composition. That might be revealed with further research. The design part of thesis shows possible solutions for particular problems. For better lucidity is the final design divided into several parts. The first part deals with fundamental matters in the area, for example antierosion system, and reacts to newly proposed road route which is being planned in the actual spatial plan. The second part deals with quality changes. The aim is to produce higher ecological, aesthetic and cultural gains from the area. For example renovation of orchard, new usage of abandoned areas and securing views of Sv. Jan Nepomucký Chapel are elaborated. The third part focuses on renovation of earlier identified designed landscape. Preservation or renewal of particular components or other silvicultural measures are proposed. Furthermore an architecture-artistic study of chosen area is proposed. The centre of the area is Sv. Jan Nepomucký Chapel. The study aims at preserving views on chapel as a dominant of landscape and also preserving chapel as a spiritual space with option for calm walks with beautiful views of region. In the last part of thesis the author proposes declaration of the area as historical landscape reservation Kyšpersko. The aim is to ensure options for renovation and consequential care of designed landscape. For this purpose a standard record for historical landscape reservation is elaborated.

Abstract:
The diploma thesis pursues a pupil's transition to a lower secondary school. The theoretical part describes the development of Czech primary and lower secondary school. It compares the compulsory education in European countries and describes a phenomenon of transition in view of its development in an international context during the past few decades. The empirical part explores main topics of pupil's transition to higher level of education. The research is based on the case study of the primary school with pupil's transition from the fourth grade and from the fifth grade. The research aim is to find out how the transition is viewed by the pupils and their teachers and to find out the reasons for an alternation of classic model of the transition in the fifth grade of primary school. It presents the advantages and disadvantages of this modification in a view of current pupils' development. The results show that neither pupils nor the teachers perceive any major differences in a timing of the transition. For all the pupils, with no regard to the model of the transition, the more important change is the entering to the sixth grade, which is connected with the change of the curriculum. The pupils transitioning according to a new model perceive the transition after the fourth grade as an advantage for...
