In the article the segmentation of the art market is presented according to various criteria: by mass audience, by periods of creation of works of art, by price categories. The necessity of a typology of the audience in the mass segment is substantiated. The practice of audience typology is considered. It is shown that the different nature of needs for goods and services, on the one hand, and for art objects, on the other, makes it necessary to adapt the classical economic methodology for the analysis of the art market and diagnosis of consumer behavior.

Abstract:
Principles for formation of educational programs in the “Technosphere safety” direction in a technical high educational institution are considered in this paper. A strategy of the course, providing continuity with other disciplines of the natural-science cycle, allowing form students’ future professional image on lectures, practical and laboratory sessions has been defined. It has been demonstrated that the safe behavior culture formation supposes the willingness and ability to use the acquired body of knowledge, skills and abilities related to safe behavior in any sphere of activity. The experience related to interactive classes use in the educational process of Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University’s “Health and Safety Training Course” chair has been marked. It has been demonstrated that interactive methods, without replacing the lectures, contribute to better assimilation of theoretical material and effectively form students’ opinions, relations, and behavior habits. When using the interactive forms, the teacher distributes roles for lesson participants, gives overview tasks, regulates the brainstorming process, and participates in discussions of assigned problems.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to investigate the impact of external stakeholders-related corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities (local community and suppliers) on customer value co-creation behavior. This study also aims to examine the mediating role of relationship marketing orientation (RMO) on the relationship of CSR activities and customer value co-creation behavior. Design/methodology/approach The main problem of dichotomy between customers and the management was existing in banking sector so that’s why through purposive sampling, banking customers were selected for data collection through a self-administered questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed hypotheses. Findings The present study found that both local community-related and supplier-related CSR activities have a positive impact on customer value co-creation behavior. Relationship marketing orientation mediates between the link of CSR activities and customer value co-creation behavior. The strength of RMO in CSR supplier and customer value co-creation behavior is found to be more dominant. Research limitations/implications This study is restricted to one country under-investigation; therefore, it can be replicated with a larger and more geographically diverse sample. Practical implications This study offers insights to the banking sector that local community-related CSR activities contribute to the value co-creation behavior and minimize the social problems of Pakistan. Originality/value The findings of this study highlight that top management of banks can enhance the customer’s participation in services by using valuable CSR activities. The results imply the importance of interactions between the recipient of services and service providers. Stakeholder theory has previously been applied to examine stakeholders’ value maximization; this study uses stakeholder theory to examine shareholders’ value co-creation.

Abstract:
Artificial intelligence, neural networks, speech and behavior recognition systems, drones, autonomous robotic systems - all of these and many other technologies are widely used by the military to create a new type of lethal weapon programmed to independently decide to use military force. According to experts, production of such weapons will be a revolution in military affairs, the same kind of revolution that the creation of nuclear weapons made back in the days. Adoption of fully autonomous combat systems raises a number of ethical and legal issues, the major of which is a destruction of a supposed enemy’s manpower by a robot without a human command. This article focuses on the legal aspects of creating autonomous combat systems, their legal status and the prospects of creating an international document prohibiting lethal robotic technologies. As the result of the study, the authors came to a conclusion that there is no direct legal restriction on the use of fully autonomous combat systems, however, the use of such weapons contradicts the doctrinal norms of international law. The authors also believe that a comprehensive ban on the development, use and distribution of robotic technologies is hardly possible in the foreseeable future. The most possible scenario for solving the problem at an international level is only a ban on the use of this type of military equipment directly during an operational activity of an armed conflict. At the same time, the authors consider it necessary to outline the acceptable areas of application of robotic technologies: medical and logistical support of military operations, military construction, the use of mine clearing robots and similar humanistically justified measures.

Abstract:
Challenging behavior in individuals with mental retardation (MR) is relatively frequent, and represents a significant obstacle to adaptive skills. The frequency of specific forms and manifestations of challenging behavior can depend on a variety of personal and environmental factors. There are several prominent theoretical models regarding the etiology of challenging behavior and psychopathology in persons with MR: behavioral, developmental, socio-cultural and biological. The biological model emphasizes the physiological, biochemical and genetic factors as the potential source of challenging behavior. The progress in the field of genetics and neuroscience has opened the opportunity to study and discover the neurobiological basis of phenotypic characteristics. Genetic syndromes associated with MR can be followed by a specific set of problems and disorders which constitutes their behavioral phenotype. The aim of this paper was to present challenging behaviors that manifest in the most frequently studied syndromes: Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Williams syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome and Angelman syndrome. The concept of behavioral phenotype implies a higher probability of manifesting specific developmental characteristics and specific behaviors in individuals with a certain genetic syndrome. Although the specific set of (possible) problems and disorders is distinctive for the described genetic syndromes, the connection between genetics and behavior should be viewed through probabilistic dimension. The probabilistic concept takes into consideration the possibility of intra-syndrome variability in the occurrence, intensity and time onset of behavioral characteristics, at which the higher variability the lower is the specificity of the genetic syndrome. Identifying the specific pattern of behavior can be most important for the process of early diagnosis and prognosis. In addition, having knowledge about behavioral phenotype can be a landmark in the creation of targeted treatment strategies for individuals with a specific genetic syndrome.

Abstract:
This is a scientific essay that is written from a self-perceived dilemma. While writing this essay I do it with a purpose and with reflection on literature studies. I´m trying to get an understanding why I acting the way I do and to get a new perspective of how I´m going to act when similar situations occur. Which I know I will when working with children. In my essay, I also examine whether low arousal approach attention is an ethically correct approach and if that way of work matches the school's values. In this hermeneutic work I discuss with philosophers, psychologists, and research into the regulatory documents you relate to when you work in a school. With these and theories about duty ethics, discourse ethics, morality, common sense, empathy, core values and low arousal approach I reach the understanding that: With these theories combined with experience and practical knowledge give you a possibility to make wise decisions in a dilemma. I come to the conclusion that if you are well versed with the low arousal approach method it can be a good method to use from the perspective of a teacher. The effects of the method will become useless if you don’t have the knowledge how to use it.

Skinner's (1953; 1969; 1974, 1974) analysis of problem-solving behavior emphasizes the participation of precurrent responses manipulating the environment. Cases in which the solution response and its consequences are not previously known seem to be involved in relationships traditionally called "creativity." Despite these contributions, experiments interested in creative behavior gave little emphasis to precurrent responses. The present study evaluated the effects of reinforcement with contingent points to varying in precurrent responses (VAR PRE) on the solution of problems involving the composition of figures. For this, 12 students were exposed in different orders to a contingency of continuous reinforcement of any formed compositions (Ñ VAR) and to the VAR PRE contingency, both preceded and followed by test sessions (T1, T2, T3) in which there was only reinforcement for problem solving. Especially for the participants exposed to the order of conditions Ñ VAR-VAR PRE, the results showed greater effectiveness on problem solving in VAR PRE condition than the condition Ñ VAR. In the reverse order of conditions the results are less conclusive, sometimes showing greater efficacy in VAR PRE, sometimes in Ñ VAR, which suggests an order effect that favors the second condition presented. The results could not be attributed to differences in the behavioral variability produced by the conditions, and the different measures of variability induce to different conclusions. The effects of the amount of exposure to the experimental task, the experimental history, and the requirement of new behavior by the contingency of problem solving were discussed
Apesar dessas contribuições, experimentos interessados no comportamento criativo deram pouca ênfase a respostas precorrentes.

Abstract:
Background: Productive sedentary-to-light activity pursuits may enhance the relationship between positive health behaviors, like physical activity and sufficient fruit and vegetable intake, and weight status. The purpose of this study is to examine whether participation in a creative, problem-solving program is related to overweight/obesity, other sedentary pursuits, physical activity, and diet. Methods: This study describes select health behaviors that are believed to be related to body weight status for 1,679 adolescents in grades 6-12 participating in the 2008 Destination Imagination (DI) Global Finals. Dietary, physical activity (PA), and sedentary behavior data was collected via self-reported survey based on the 2007 Youth Risk Behavior Survey. Measured height and weight data were collected to calculate BMI percentile. Using multinomial regression, models were constructed to predict the likelihood of being overweight/obesity compared to normal weight. Results: The prevalence of overweight in the study population was 15.6% and obese was 11.4%. Fruit/vegetable intake, milk consumption, moderate/vigorous PA, television time, and total screen time (ST) were all independently associated with weight status. After controlling for all covariates, male gender, minority racial/ethnic status, and high ST while not meeting the PA recommendation significantly increased the likelihood of overweight/obesity. DI exposure does not appear to be independently associated with, nor influence the relationship between, the above variables and the risk of overweight/obesity. Conclusion: The participants in the current study are leaner and engage in healthier behaviors compared to national data for adolescents. Even among these low risk adolescents, the interaction between sedentary and physical activity behavior, presented as an interactive measure, was strongly associated with weight status.

Abstract:
Knowledge as a result of people's interaction is an essential factor for organizations facing actual business complexity. Social networks, whose creation and usage have been facilitated from the development of information and communication technologies, improved the conditions for interactive and collaborative answers at a very fast pace. In this sense, virtual communities of practice appear as an important way to share knowledge among groups of people joined by common interests, such as the search for solutions for problems, development of competences, professional relationship upgrades, growth of productivity, and general working quality. However, some barriers have emerged to the social network members, such as lack of trust, real incentives, and time to dedicate in order to contribute in these communities. In this chapter, aiming to evaluate such scenarios, a multiple case study methodology was conducted, starting from a literature review of main concepts, giving support for a final assessment of cases to provide better understanding and identification of the main benefits and barriers for the participation and collaboration in these new platforms. As a result of the present study, these reflections could lead to a better comprehension of the application of the social networks structured over virtual communities of practice in the business environment.

Abstract:
The rapid development of complex virtual worlds (most notably, in 3D computer and video games) introduces new challenges for the creation of virtual agents, controlled by Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Two important sub-problems in this topic area that need to be addressed are (a) believability and (b) effectiveness of agents' behavior (i.e. human-likeness of the characters and high ability to achieving their own goals). In this chapter, the authors study current approaches to believability and effectiveness of AI behavior in virtual worlds. They examine the concepts of believability and effectiveness and analyze several successful attempts to address these challenges. In conclusion, the authors provide a case study that suggests that believable and effective behavior can be achieved through learning behavioral patterns from observation with subsequent automatic selection of effective acting strategies.

Abstract:
While population aging is a logical consequence of demographic transitions, marketing managers are increasingly focusing on the needs or problems of older consumers. Namely, in modern business conditions, marketing managers must keep in mind that older consumers, especially those who are not retired yet, are a very valuable and attractive target group in terms of consumption. In this chapter, the authors analyze how demographic factors as well as digital environment factors determine the behavior of older consumers (i.e., the extent to which older consumers may be marked as Customer 4.0) and whether their attitudes and purchase behavior influence the creation of marketing strategies.

Abstract:
The objective of this chapter is to delineate the sustainability problems encountered by not-for-profit organisations and to explore how these challenges can be can be managed through shared value creation by the stakeholders. Case study-abductive research methodology was adopted to explore stakeholder shared values and sustainability. This method of study is especially useful for trying to test theoretical models by using them in real world situations. Findings revealed that the sustainability strategy in not for profit organizations must be a holistic approach. Such an approach needs to build upon value-creation that is integrated to develop social entrepreneurship and create social capital along the three dimensions which includes innovative, proactive, and risk management behavior. This chapter contributes to the shared value with stakeholders to provide a social enterprise pathway for a not for profit organization to achieve long-term financial sustainability while maintaining the core social mission and objectives.

In The International Workshop on Information, Computation, and Control Systems for Distributed Environments 2019. Crossref, 2019. http://dx.doi.org/10.47350/iccs-de.2019.09.

Abstract:
The main objective of qualitative research is to analyze the behavior of the trajectories of a dynamic system to verify whether it corresponds to the set of constraints characterizing the property. We use an approach to study binary dynamic systems on a finite time interval based on the author's method of Boolean constraints. Based on this method, the Boolean model of the properties of a binary dynamic system is written in the language of Boolean equations or Boolean formulas with quantifiers. Thus, the verification of various dynamical properties is reduced to solving the problems of Boolean constraints satisfiability or the validity of a quantified Boolean formula using efficient SAT or TQBF solvers. The high computational complexity of these problems requires the development of software and tools for their parallel and distributed solving and ensuring transparent end-user access to highperformance computing environments based on a service-oriented approach. This paper represents the architecture and functionality of a new instrumental system that automates the creation of a distributed application for solving the considered class of problems based on the microservice approach and multi-agent technology.

Abstract:
In this paper, a new POD-based analysis method is proposed for numerical analysis of thermal mechanical engineering problems consisting of multiple media. After the creation of a heat conduction solution database for each medium, the “snapshot” approach of Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) technique is applied to facilitate reduced-order modeling of the unsteady heat conduction behavior. The snapshot matrix is constructed medium by medium by collecting individual medium solutions at different instants in time through a column-wise manner. By means of expressing physical variables in terms of reduced modes at individual medium level, a system of differential equations about time is formed by utilizing the consistency conditions of the physical variables on interface boundaries. The solutions of the problem can be obtained by solving the system of equations at any desired time steps. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

Abstract:
Abstract A bistable mechanism has two stable states within its range of motion. Its advantages include the ability to stay in two positions without power input and despite small external disturbances. Therefore, bistable micro-mechanisms could allow the creation of MEMS with improved energy efficiency and positioning accuracy. This paper presents the first bistable MEMS which function within the plane of fabrication. These bistable mechanisms, known as “Young” bistable mechanisms, obtain their energy storage characteristics from the deflection of two compliant members, have two pin joints connected to the substrate, and can be constructed of two layers of polysilicon. The pseudo-rigid-body model overcomes problems with nonlinearities in the analysis and design of these mechanisms. This approach allows greater freedom and flexibility in the design process. Testing of the mechanisms demonstrated their bistable behavior and the repeatability of the stable positions.

Abstract:
Passenger Ro-Ro ferries have proved to be extremely vulnerable regarding their hydrostatic stability when damaged. This is not only due to the design of their car decks. After an abrupt ingress of water caused by a maritime accident, the spaces below the car deck can experience dangerous intermediate flooding stages that might lead the ship to sink. The intermediate flooding stages depend upon hosts of factors that are interdependent. Some of them eventually interact during the flooding. An experimental campaign using the midsection of the PRR02 - ITTC/SiW passenger Ro-Ro ferry was devoted to provide a thorough insight to the flooding physics and to quantify these interactions using a novel-to-ocean-engineering methodology, the so-called DOE method. The physical background and the experimental set up of this campaign are presented in the previous one (OMAE2010-20047). This paper is devoted to presenting the experimental methodology and the first findings. The flooding is found a complex phenomenon in which a strong interaction between water and air occurs, also in coupling with the hydrodynamic efforts. Model tests based on one-factor-at-a-time experiments highlights the importance of the damage area and the time of damage creation in the ship behavior during the transient phase. We advocate the use of the DOE methodology to deal with stability problems and to find a model quantifying the intermediate flooding stages.

Abstract:
The article focuses on the problem of corporate security and the search for social and psychological resources to ensure it. Based on the analysis of Russian and foreign studies, it is concluded that such a resource can be a safe civil behavior. The research task is to study the impact of prosocial behavior of employees of the organization, in the form of corporate volunteerism, on corporate security. The article presents the results of a study, the hypothesis of which was that the inclusion of employees in corporate volunteering allows them to form a safe civil behavior due to the development of group (group motivation to achieve success, a favorable psychological climate) and individual (professional identity, commitment to safety) psychological resources. The sample was made up of employees of two organizations located in the Moscow region. One organization has a corporate social responsibility program that includes corporate volunteering. The obtained data allowed us to understand that safe civic behavior is a systemic personal and environmental construct that generates positive interpersonal relationships that contribute to a sense of security and community, motivation to achieve success, as well as identification and psychological attachment to a professional group. Safe civil behavior is impossible without the initiative of subjects to influence the environment, a special case of which is corporate volunteerism.

Abstract:
Abstract—NPC [non-player characters] have progressed over the past two decades, they fulfil a number of different roles, each with different problems and development techniques. When fulfilling the role typically reserved for human-players, a problem occurs because they can be identified as NPC by observing their gameplay behaviours. This has negative consequences when deployed in a team-based game where eliminations impact game objectives. This research investigates the key combat characteristics exhibited by players during certain scenarios, analysing the data acquired through experiments to determine where generalised patterns emerge. It also explores the combat awareness of players when NPCs have overly tuned combat skill, and determine how effective standard game industry techniques are for creating believable NPCs.

Full text
Abstract:
Despite progresses achieved in the technology of MEMS, the tribological problem continues being an unresolved matter. Wear and stick-slip phenomena are many times the origin of failure of these devices. The application of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) in liquid phase seems to be a solution to this problems. SAMs of octadecyltrichlorosilane (CH3(CH2)17SiCl3, OTS) were attached to Si(100) oxidized in liquid phase. Contact angle measurements were used for characterizing the grade of hydrophobicity. The topography of the coating was obtained with an Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) in semicontact mode. The images showed the presence of particles related to the polymerization of the precursor molecule during the formation process of the SAMs. Creating the film of lubricant in vapour phase would avoid this undesirable effect. Tribological tests were carried out with a microtribometer in linear reciprocating movement with a ball of 2 mm of diameter (100Cr6 and Si3N4) and load of some milinewtons. Results were compared with those obtained for silicon oxidized without any coating. The coefficient of friction (COF) and wear (substrate and ball) were studied under different test conditions.
