Previous issue date: 2005<br>A preocupação mundial na eficientização energética gerada após a primeira crise do
petróleo, levou ao governo Brasileiro a criar diversos programas voltados para a eficiência
energética, dentre eles podemos citar o Programa Nacional de Iluminação Pública Eficiente
- RELUZ.
O presente estudo procurou avaliar cinco projetos de eficientização energética na ilumina
ção pública, realizados no âmbito do programa RELUZ.
Para se considerar os projetos viáveis foram utilizados como critérios de avaliação o Valor
Presente Líquido (VPL), onde se espera resultados positivos, a Taxa Interna de Retorno
(TIR), que deve ser maior que a taxa mínima de atratividade do mercado, e a Razão
Benefício/Custo (RBC), que deve ser igual ou maior que a unidade. Foram realizados
pesquisas de campo com os agentes envolvidos - concessionária geradora, concessionária
distribuidora, prefeituras, prestadoras de serviço e população.
Os resultados obtidos foram favoráveis, o que prova que a eficientização energética é interessante.
Concluindo, verifica-se a importância do projeto para toda a sociedade e
recomendam-se mudanças de procedimentos dos atores envolvidos para a obtenção de
melhores resultados

Previous issue date: 2008-01<br>Programas de fomento à eficiência energética e redução das perdas no uso final de energia têm sido desenvolvidos em diversos países, associados a uma maior consciência da problemática energética e ambiental. No Brasil destaca-se o Programa Selo PROCEL, com o objetivo de informar aos consumidores sobre o desempenho energético de equipamentos elétricos, coletores solares térmicos e reservatórios de água associados. O presente trabalho avalia os impactos energéticos atribuídos a esse programa, particularmente no âmbito de refrigeradores e freezers domésticos, levando em conta os efeitos de temperatura ambiente e degradação de eficiência dos equipamentos, sendo contabilizados os impactos ao longo da vida útil do equipamento. Segundo a avaliação efetuada, baseando-se nos valores de consumo unitários ajustados e para um parque de equipamentos estimado em bases regionalizadas e desagregado por idade e categoria, em 2005 os freezers e refrigeradores instalados no Brasil consumiram 23.122GWh, significando uma economia de 4,2% (1.012GWh) frente ao consumo que seria observado caso não fosse adotado o Selo PROCEL e apenas se observasse a evolução tecnológica tendencial nesses equipamentos. O potencial total de economia, correspondente à plena adoção do Selo nesses equipamentos é estimado em 7,6% (1840GWh). Considerando as necessidades de potência, estimou-se que o Programa Selo PROCEL, no âmbito de freezers e refrigeradores, contribuiu para uma redução na demanda de ponta em cerca de 150 MW em 2005, correspondente a 0,24% da demanda máxima registrada nesse ano no Sistema Interligado Nacional. A análise econômica da viabilidade da aquisição de equipamentos com Selo PROCEL mostrou que mesmo os consumidores com menores tarifas são beneficiados economicamente pela compra de refrigeradores mais eficientes, sinalizando que o consumidor consegue pagar a diferença de preço entre o equipamento com o Selo PROCEL e um menos eficiente em um período de seis a quinze anos dependendo basicamente das condições tarifárias, da temperatura ambiente e taxa de desconto consideradas.

Um dos aspectos necessários é adequar as edificações para o clima em que estão localizadas, reduzindo o consumo energético da habitação e ampliando o conforto ambiental. O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar a viabilidade técnica e econômica da aplicação de critérios de desempenho térmico em edificações residenciais. A investigação foi centrada na identificação dos custos e da energia no ciclo de vida de projetos simulados com soluções baseadas em conforto ambiental passivo (natural) e ativo (artificial), verificando a influência no consumo de energia da edificação. Foi aplicada em projetos de edificações residenciais verticais e horizontais, de classe média e baixa, em dois climas distintos (Porto Alegre e Bento Gonçalves, RS), examinando o tipo de envelope, as absortâncias e o uso de elementos construtivos. Para análise do desempenho térmico foi adotada a norma de desempenho NBR 15575 e método graus-hora, com modelagem BIM, utilizando o Revit/Autodesk e para as simulações térmicas foi empregado o EnergyPlus, software especializado em análise energética para edificações. O ciclo de vida dos projetos propostos foi analisado considerando-se um período de 50 anos, comparando os custos e a energia incorporada das alternativas. Como um segundo parâmetro de sustentabilidade, também se analisou a eficiência energética conforme o selo de eficiência energética Procel Edifica. Os resultados indicam que com o aumento do isolamento da envoltória se verifica uma melhoria do conforto térmico, de até 54%, e economia de energia, em ambos os climas, com um período de retorno de 2 a 6 anos, em alguns casos.<br>The concern with sustainability brought the need for optimization of the energy resources to reduce the consumption of electric energy and of natural resources. One of the aspects is the need to adapt the buildings to the climate in which they are located, reducing the energy consumption of housing. The aim of this research is to investigate the technical and economic viability of applying some criteria of thermal performance in residential buildings. The methodology is based on the identification of the costs and energy in the life cycle of projects based on environmental comfort on passive (natural) and active (artificial) ways, detailing the influence on energy consumption of the building. It was applied in residential projects, both vertical and horizontal, of lower and middle class, in two distinct microclimates (Porto Alegre and Bento Gonçalves, southern Brazilian cities), examining alternatives of envelope, insulation and the use of architectural façade elements. To analyze the thermal performance was adopted the Brazilian standard NBR 15575 and degree-hour method, with BIM modeling through Revit/Autodesk and for the thermal simulation Ecotect/Autodesk and EnergyPlus. The life cycle of the proposed case studies was analyzed by considering a period of 50 years, comparing the costs and embodied energy of alternatives. As a second measure of sustainability, energy efficiency was also analyzed with the Brazilian standard of energy efficiency Procel Edifica. The results showed that with the increment of envelope’s insulation there are improvement of thermal comfort, of 54%, and energetic economy, in both climates, with a payback period of 2 to 6 years, in some cases.

installation, building scenarios of probable behaviors of the residential consumers
and the hourly rate which includes the concept of smart grids. The study takes
account the smart meters implementation costs under the consumer point of view,
using investment economic analysis concepts. The scenarios obtained from
PROCEL INFO graphics and excel spreadsheets calculations compare conventional
fare to different hourly rates using smart meters. From this context, it is possible
observe the monthly savings that were obtained and the investments return period.
The results show the investments economic viability and the priority of this new
technology installation, considering that the installations shall be made first in the
most viable regions. These results may turn possible a strategy that creates an order
to the smart meters implementation.<br>Esta dissertação apresenta uma análise da viabilidade econômica da
instalação de medidores inteligentes, construindo cenários de prováveis
comportamentos dos consumidores residenciais e a tarifa horária que contempla o
conceito de redes inteligentes. O estudo leva em consideração os custos de
implantação destes medidores sob a ponto de vista do consumidor, utilizando
conceitos de análise econômica de investimentos. Os cenários, construídos a partir
dos gráficos do PROCEL INFO e com cálculos efetuados com o auxílio de planilhas
do Excel, comparam a tarifa convencional com as tarifas horárias diferenciadas
utilizando medidores inteligentes. Dentro deste contexto, é possível observar a
economia mensal que é obtida e o prazo de retorno do investimento. Os resultados
obtidos indicam viabilidade econômica de investimento e uma prioridade na
instalação desta nova tecnologia, considerando as regiões do Brasil mais viáveis
como sendo as primeiras à implantação. Com as contribuições deste estudo, por
exemplo, permite-se traçar estratégias de implantação de medidores inteligentes.

Os aeroportos têm incorporado progressivamente operações comerciais e de lazer que os aproximam de centros comerciais, com um aumento no consumo de energia para iluminação artificial e condicionamento do ambiente considerando a operação 24/7. No entanto, muitas vezes não são desenvolvidos planos de eficiência energética. O Aeroporto Internacional Salgado Filho, localizado em Porto Alegre, sul do Brasil, tem cerca de 100 mil operações de aeronaves, entre pousos e decolagens, por ano, o que representa 4% do movimento nacional. Nesse contexto, este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a eficiência energética do aeroporto mencionado. Este trabalho utiliza como parâmetro a certificação brasileira PROCEL Edifica. Foram coletados dados de consumo de energia de dois anos de operação do aeroporto. A eficiência energética foi avaliada através de condições técnicas de edifícios e sistemas operacionais, seguida por análise e classificação pelo método PROCEL Edifica. Os resultados apontaram para classificação geral da edificação como C no terminal 1 e classificação A no terminal 2. Os sistemas de iluminação e condicionamento de ar tiveram classificação abaixo do nível A e a partir da identificação de itens não atendidos do método, foram propostas ações para a redução do consumo de energia no aeroporto com a análise da viabilidade econômica dessas propostas.<br>An important action for sustainability is the reduction of energy consumption, seeking to achieve the energy efficiency of buildings. Airports have progressively incorporated commercial and leisure operations that bring them closer to shopping centers, with an increase in energy consumption for artificial lighting and environmental conditioning considering the operation 24/7. However, energy efficiency plans are often not developed. Salgado Filho International Airport, located in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, has about 100,000 aircraft operations, between landings and takeoffs, per year, which represents 4% of the national movement. In this context, this study aims to evaluate the energy efficiency of the mentioned airport. This work uses as a parameter the Brazilian certification PROCEL Edifica. Energy consumption data from two years of airport operation were collected. Energy efficiency was evaluated through technical conditions of buildings and operating systems, followed by analysis and classification by PROCEL Constructs method. The results pointed to the overall classification of the building as C at terminal 1 and classification A at terminal 2. Lighting and air conditioning systems were rated below level A and from the identification of unmet items of the method, actions were proposed to reduce energy consumption at the airport with the analysis of the economic viability of these proposals.

Previous issue date: 2013-12<br>Este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar uma comparação entre o desempenho energético das lâmpadas fluorescentes compactas – LFC contempladas pelo Programa do Selo Procel Eletrobras, e as LFC contempladas por outros dois programas de informação aos consumidores sobre o desempenho energético de equipamentos através de etiquetas/selos de endosso, o Norte Americano Energy Star e o Australiano Equipment Energy Efficiency – E3. Esse estudo se torna relevante uma vez que, somente no ano de 2011, o uso de LFC com o Selo Procel Eletrobras proporcionou ao País uma economia de energia da ordem de 1.900 milhões de kWh (PROCEL, 2012), o que corresponde a cerca de 30% de toda a energia economizada pelas ações do Programa Nacional de Conservação de Energia Elétrica - Procel naquele ano.
Durante o estudo, identificou-se que desde o início do programa do Selo Procel Eletrobras, em 1999, até o ano de 2011, a média geral dos índices de eficiência energética das LFC evoluiu significativamente, saindo da marca de 49,2 lm/W para 61,0 lm/W nos modelos de 127V e de 49,1 lm/W para de 60,7 lm/W nos modelos de 220V.
Verificou-se também que, em 2011, as médias gerais dos índices de eficiência energética das lâmpadas contempladas pelos programas do Selo Procel Eletrobras, Energy Star e Equipment Energy Efficiency estavam muito próximas, com uma diferença máxima entre eles de 1,36%. O programa Energy Star foi o que apresentou as lâmpadas com a maior média geral de eficiência, com o índice de 61,64lm/W, seguido pelo E3, com 60,97 lm/W e pelo Selo Procel com 60,80lm/W. Essas informações indicam que não há necessidade atual de revisão de índices de eficiência energética visando o incremento das exigências para a concessão do Selo Procel Eletrobras para as LFC. Um incremento de exigências poderia de fato, ao invés de proporcionar o aumento na venda de modelos de LFC mais eficientes, estimular a procura por modelos menos eficientes, porém com menores custos.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>This Master s dissertation presents the development of a methodology to evaluate and estimate the behavior of the residential consumer facing the application of the white hourly tariff. In the context of the Smart Grids, this rate is applied aiming to encourage the consumers to shift their consumption to times of lower loading of system, looking for a better utilization of the infrastructure of the electric system. Considering this, the proposed methodology considers the analysis about the habits of use of electric shower, which is the household equipment that presents the greatest contribution on the final consumption and on the peak of the load curve of residential consumers. In this way the analysis considers data from the Brazilian Center of Information in Energy Efficiency - PROCEL INFO, which includes information about habits of use of household. This database, combined with the application of the Monte Carlo method, provide an overview of the possible effects of the application of the hourly rate to the consumers and to the electrical system, as well as, a guideline of actions that can be taken for a better adaptation of the consumers, considering this new trend.<br>Esta dissertação apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia para avaliar e estimar o comportamento do consumidor residencial frente a aplicação da tarifa horária branca. No contexto das Redes Elétricas Inteligentes, esta tarifa visa incentivar os consumidores a deslocarem o seu consumo para horários de menor carregamento do sistema e, consequentemente, buscar um melhor aproveitamento da infraestrutura do sistema elétrico. Neste sentido, a metodologia proposta considera a análise sobre os hábitos de utilização do chuveiro elétrico, carga com maior representatividade no consumo final e na ponta da curva de carga dos consumidores residenciais. Desta forma, são utilizados dados do Centro Brasileiro de Informação de Eficiência Energética PROCEL INFO, que reúne uma base de informações sobre os hábitos de utilização de equipamentos oriunda de pesquisas realizadas no mercado residencial brasileiro no ano de 2005. Esta base de dados, aliada a aplicação do Método de Monte Carlo, fornece uma visão dos possíveis efeitos da aplicação da tarifa horária para o consumidor e para o sistema elétrico, assim como, nortear ações que possam ser tomadas em função de uma melhor adaptação do consumidor frente a esta nova tendência.

This study is a qualitative research project classified as practical and participatory action
research designs, which has as its aim the creation of an instructional design, used as a
learning metric for Domus Software - Procel Edification, which integrates concept maps and
the revised Bloom taxonomy into an intelligent web assessment system. This metric aligns
curriculum concept maps along with conceptual and procedural knowledge of the Domus
software - Procel edifies the retaining cognitive processes, provides understanding and
application, through offering a model of instructional design, which assigns weights to those
cognitive processes attained by students and identifies principles to be used in its
applicability for the evaluation of distance learning. The authors also present the results for
alignment, inferring weights as well as an outline of the logical sequence along with steps for
the implementation of the intelligent system through the association of some exemplification
slides.<br>O presente trabalho é uma pesquisa qualitativa e classificada como practical and
participatory action research designs (desenho de pesquisa de prática e ação participativa),
que tem como intuito criar um desenho instrucional para uma métrica da aprendizagem do
Software Domus Procel Edifica, integrando mapas conceituais à taxonomia revisada de
Bloom em um sistema inteligente de avaliação na Web. Essa métrica alinha mapas conceituais
curriculares, conhecimentos procedimentais e conceituais do software Domus − Procel
Edifica aos processos cognitivos de retenção, entendimento e aplicação, oferecendo um
modelo de desenho instrucional, que atribui pesos aos processos cognitivos alcançados pelos
estudantes e identifica alguns princípios para sua aplicabilidade na avaliação da aprendizagem
a distância. Apresenta-se ainda, resultados de alinhamento, inferência de pesos e um esboço
da sequência lógica e etapas de execução do sistema inteligente, associando-se algumas telas

Previous issue date: 2016-07<br>A dissertação destina-se a subsidiar estudos de avaliação da conformidade em inversores autônomos para sistemas fotovoltaicos, ou simplesmente inversores off grid, no portfólio de equipamentos do Selo Procel. Para isso, utilizou-se a Lógica Paraconsistente Anotada Evidencial Eτ (LPA Eτ) como suporte para o uso do Método Paraconsistente de Decisão Modificada (MPDM). Foram avaliados quinze inversores off grid para os doze ensaios da Portaria INMETRO n°. 004/2011 por meio do MPDM. Os resultados apontam para focalizar os estudos dos Requisitos Específicos nos ensaios de frequência e de eficiência energética em condições normais e extremas. Por fim, as rotinas computacionais foram estendidas, ainda em versão preliminar, dando suporte a uma Interface Gráfica Usuário denominada CONFORME que auxilia nos estudos da avaliação da conformidade para inclusão de equipamentos no portfólio do Selo Procel para inversores e outros equipamentos.

The importance of processes is growing. Processes are integrated into many areas of human work, where they help to organize all activities. This thesis aims on statistical approach to process behavior analysis. There are mentioned the basic process management issues in the beginning of this thesis. The main focus is on the techniques used during process analysis. There are mentioned approaches that are used to easily and effectively assess process behavior using process behavior charts and how to deduce proper steps from the analysis results to improve the process. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to practical analysis of real process behavior data using implemented solution. The results show common usability of statistical methods and approaches to process analysis.

The intention is to identify the waste and obstacles in the process. The main target is to improve the process in consideration of efficiency, lead time reduction and, if applicable, cost savings. Once the waste in the process is identified, the 100% value added ideal state is going to be developed, under consideration of implementing the improvements, which have been identified in the current state. Based on the differences between the current state and the ideal state of the process, the future state is going to be mapped.

It is estimated that the Brazilian population shows an increase by 2050 about 50%, so the generation and distribution of more energy becomes a concern. There is a great evolution on the process of evaluating equipment and buildings for their energy efficiency, however it is known that human behavior and consumer habits have huge influence on the energy efficiency of a building. Energy efficiency provided by the deployment of smart grids, suggests an intelligent and efficient city, which depend more and more on human behavior to improve the rational use of electricity. This paper presents a proposal for classification of individual energy efficiency, based on the Brazilian Labeling Program, the research of equipment possession and usage habits in the residential class, held by Eletrobras, and the application of fuzzy logic.<br>O setor el?trico brasileiro j? apresentou sinais de esgotamento que culminaram em racionamento de energia. Previous issue date: 2017-06-23<br>A pesquisa procura realizar propostas de ações para melhoria do desempenho sustentável de edificações de ensino superior federal, utilizando como modelo exploratório duas edificações modelos, como objeto de estudo de caso. Em virtude da existência de duas gerações de edificações bastante semelhantes, devido ao padrão conceitual e projetual utilizado também busca-se verificar avanços para sustentabilidade que tenham ocorrido no interstício de aproximadamente 30 anos entre os projetos analisados. Como marco temporal, tem-se duas fases de grande expansão universitária proporcionada pelo governo federal, o MEC-BID III e o REUNI. Como método de pesquisa foi utilizado uma revisão bibliográfica, uma pesquisa documental e uma pesquisa de campo para mapear a percepção dos especialistas que trabalham e gerencias os projetos, obras, operação e manutenção das edificações objetos do estudo. Como resultado, espera-se comprovar as questões iniciais buscando relacionar os projetos verificados, com os indicadores de sustentabilidade de certificações reconhecidas pela sociedade, registrando as boas práticas de projeto para potencializar os critérios de avaliação de sustentabilidade.<br>The research seeks to make proposals for actions to improve the sustainable performance of federal higher education buildings, using as an exploratory model two model buildings, as object of case study. Due to the existence of two generations of very similar buildings, due to the conceptual and design standard used, it is also sought to verify advances for sustainability that have occurred in the intersection of approximately 30 years between the projects analyzed. As a time frame, there are two phases of great federal university expansion provided by the federal government, MEC-BID III and REUNI. As a research method, a bibliographical review, a documentary research and a survey were used to map the perception of the specialists who work and manage the projects, works, operation and maintenance of the object objects of the study. As a result, it is expected to prove the initial questions seeking to relate the verified projects, with the sustainability indicators of certifications recognized by the company, recording good project practices to enhance the criteria for sustainability assessment.

This diploma thesis deals with the usage of agents in business process modelling. The aim is to identify possible uses in the problem area and to evaluate their potential. Intended usage is analysed on the basis of the objectives of process modelling. Described in detail, it focuses on potential application of agents in a process modelling itself, in deploying executable and flexible processes, process improvements and finally in dynamic planning. A further objective is to provide an overview of current research and literature in problem area. To fulfil the goal available literature is analysed and basis approaches are demonstrated in case study. Paper does not address the implementation of multi-agent systems (MAS). Following introduction reader is guided though basic elements of the processes and their modelling, concept of agents and modelling of MAS. As a process modelling notation BPMN in planned 2.0 release was selected. Next section is devoted to the usage of agents. The last part of the work is a case study discussing the possibilities of agents application in company operating public car auctions. In addition the process model (BPMN) transformation to agent model is presented and further developed as a interconnection between process modelling and agent-based systems. Combination of agent approach with business rules and hybrid simulation are proposed as the most promising usages.

This thesis focuses on modeling of business processes which are very sensitive on correct capturing of process details characterized as process events and states. At the beginning of the analysis are the process events and states classified into three types: activity related, object related and time related. Each type is analyzed in detail and there are formulated states and their transitions that form a lifecycle of each individual type of the process state. There are discussed contemporary process modeling languages starting from the very popular to relatively less known, all representing slightly different approach towards process modeling. The analysis of process events and states shows that the contemporary process modeling languages cover the defined lifecycles only partially. There are picked three popular process modeling languages and put through a test case, which is based on Czech regulation of a building process. This test case allows us to review their capabilities to capture the process events including the ways how they get along with their only partial support. Upon analysis of process events and states and the unsatisfying results of the con-temporary process modeling languages in the test case, there is introduced a new process modeling language which, as demonstrated, is capable of capturing many of the process events and states in the test case in much simpler and precise way that the three reviewed process modeling languages were able to.

Diploma thesis named Evaluation of BI processes in the banking sector is focused on obtaining information from production databases and streamlining the process of creating BI reports in the organization. The process of creating a report is an analytical work, examining the current state of business processes and their support by enterprise applications. The aim of this work is to create a practical proposal for improving the effectiveness of tasks connected with a report set up within GE Money Bank. The main objective is achieved through a design work on the maturity model of BI reporting. Part of the model is a set of tools for identifying the current level of maturity and the conditions necessary for a transition to the next level in accordance with the required level of a BI reporting. The benefit of this diploma thesis is an analysis of commonly used approaches to assess the maturity levels of processes and an application of results of this analysis in Business Intelligence area, specifically the maturity assessment reporting. The result is a maturity model of BI reporting.

The subject of my thesis is the optimization of selected business processes in the specific company. These are processes, which optimization will lead to save time, money and will generate additional income and increase the current level of profit significantly. In my thesis, I proposed several indicators of metrics and describe new information systems that will be part of optimized processes. In the first part I present the theoretical aspects and the transition from functional to process management, modeling based on different methodologies, standards and measuring the performance of individual processes. In the next chapter I am dealing with the practical application of theoretical knowledge on a specific company. First I briefly introduce this company, define its position in the market, and going through complex of strategic analysis. Next I give solution how to find out the problematic aspects of the most critical processes and then I suggest optimization. An important part of this thesis are suggested metrics and indicators for these metrics, which are monitored and evaluate targets of each individual process and thus his successful implementation. After incorporating the proposed optimization, the company has significantly shifted not only in monitored metrics, but will also increase its value. These ideas I will summarize in the end of the work.

This diploma thesis deals with business process simplification. Basic terms like business or process are defined in the theoretical part of the thesis as well as selected methods of business management such as TPS, KAIZEN, 5S, Six Sigma, etc. The principal concept for this work is described in the second chapter. It’s very important to simplify things and work, which means to identify the essential parts and eliminate the rest (waste). The practical part describes company Kuličkové šrouby Kuřim, a.s. (KSK) and the study of individual processes and impacts upon them. Further on, several process simplifications from various parts of the company are presented. Each individual case is described and analysed.

Final result will be a proposal of new optimized process flows on a higher level of maturity which will meet all requirements set by a new information system, by an information need of a local management and will be helpful to customer service improvement. The first part of the thesis covers theoretical base of a business process management, process modeling and business process optimization approaches which prepare a base for their application in the second practical part of this thesis.

Today, business process modelling is important part of analysis and design of the information systems. There is number of standards, which is concerned with process modelling, whereas each of them represents a little different approach. The project Opensoul created general metamodel, which defines basic elements and their mutual associations, which all standards should meet. In other words, it defines basic rules for process modelling. The goal of this thesis is to compare chosen standards of process modelling with Business process metamodel of Opensoul initiative. The results of this comparison would have provide basis to answer the question, which standard supports in the best way the rules of process modelling defined by metamodel through the system of elements and their associations. This goal requires specifying the method, on which basis the comparison will be made. This method comprises the extension of metamodel with new elements and their relations to other elements, and the extension of some elements with some workflow patterns defined by Workflow Patterns initiative. That is the main benefit of this thesis.

The theme of the diploma thesis deals with the description and improvement of business process inside of the service company. The Goal is to formalize current state of business processes in the Czech division of international hardware producer and provide overall view on the processes for the company management. In the first section there is a company profile described by organisation chart, strategy, SWOT analysis and brief description of the internal information system. The middle part contains descriptive tables and Event-driven process chains of three main processes and their subprocesses. In the all processes there are identified few weaknesses that are the base for the last section. The final part suggests specific improvements to the weaknesses. It is author's proposals for solving difficulties inside of the processes. In conclusion all of the plans are grouped by every single role in the process.

Business process modeling plays an important role for the documentation and analysis of organizational processes and for the specification of requirements for information systems. Currently, there are many standards for process modeling, and each represents a different approach to modeling and provides different opportunities for creating models. Thus, same models created in different modeling languages differ in terms of their expressiveness, according to each standard. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of selected business process modeling standards. The effectiveness of standards will be evaluated on two levels. First, in terms of their semantics and second, in terms of their syntax. Evaluation of standards in terms of their semantics will be based on the comparison of standards with a business process metamodel created within the project Opensoul. This model defines a set of basic elements and their associations at a basic level of process modeling. Evaluation of standards in terms of their syntax will be based on the comparison of standards with a framework proposed by Moody and Hillegersberg. The results of this comparison should show which standard best supports defined criteria. The evaluation framework will be applied on the following process modeling standards: BPMN, EPC and IDEF3. Based on the results obtained their strength and weaknesses will be discussed. The main contribution of this thesis can be seen both in the analysis of the element set of selected process modeling standards and further in the comparison of standards according to the evaluation framework.

My diploma work is focused on implementation of measuring probe to process of cutting operation by turning and description of their effective usage ways. Measuring probe are used as correction during turning process or to control measuring of turning work eventually to signal mistake in process. In practical part the laser measuring probe is used to control shaft functional dimensions. Measuring is done after tooling and it substitute exit control. Laser probe was also reviewed regarding usability for given purpose as measurement tool and in the same time were reviewed time and cost differences against alternative turning process.
