The production of chemicals using microbes is an area of significant interest for academia and industry. Significant resources are often devoted to strain development not only for the increase of productivity and yield but also for the improvement of robustness and tolerance to industrial production conditions. The genetic regulatory network of microbial organisms has evolved to maximize growth and survival in a variety of dynamic environmental conditions found in nature. Many of these responses can be suboptimal for the purpose of industrial manufacture of valuable bioproducts. A small number

I argue that discarded e-waste are not ‘value-less’ waste, but instead embody value (specifically latent use value), and have the potential to be re-inserted as ‘raw materials’ into production networks

Most researches of production planning and scheduling consider their identified problem for the optimization, but most of them focus on one specific issue, such as which item must be outsourced. Some researches simplify the problem by fixing the relationship between the production units. In practice, production network is a hierarchical and variable structure, each unit has its own objective and different objectives may conflict. Therefore, planning and s

These companies are flexible for the environment changes but hardly compete against the invasion from the big companies since lack of strong reinforce. The production network organizations, which combined by small and medium size companies, is not only flexible but also owns reinforce for competition, so that it could be a suitable option for development of the manufacture in this country. Modelling and optimization of EDM process is a highly demanding research area in the present scenario. Many attempts have been made to model performance parameters of EDM process using ANN. For modelling generally ANN architectures, learning/training algorithms and nos. of hidden neurons are varied to achieve minimum error, but the variation is made in random manner. So here a full factorial design has been implemented to achieve the optimal of above. From the main effect plots and with the help of ANOVA results the optimal process parameters for modeling were selected. After that optimal pr

Abstract:
Cholecystokinin (CCK) is a gut peptide involved in the regulation of energy homeostasis by duodenal lipids via a neuronal network. However, it is unknown whether CCK also regulates glucose homeostasis through a neuronal network. Using an in vivo rat model, we demonstrated that duodenal CCK-8 (biologically active form of CCK) can lower glucose production through the activation of a gut-brain-liver axis via CCK-A receptors, and this glucose-regulatory effect is physiologically relevant. Since duodenal lipids can also lower glucose production through a gut-brain-liver axis, we verified that this
