Introduction Access to radiometals suitable for labeling novel molecular imaging agents requires that they be routinely available and inexpensive to obtain. Proximity to a cyclotron center outfitted with solid target hardware, or to an isotope generator for a radiometal of interest is necessary, both of which can be significant hurdles in availability of less common isotopes. Herein, we describe the production of 44Sc, 68Ga, 89Zr, 86Y and 94mTc in a solution target which allows for the production of various radiometallic isotopes, enabling rapid isotope-biomolecule pairing optimization for tr

Abstract:
Single phase and boiling batch water targets are the most common designs for the cyclotron production of 18F via the 18O(p,n)18F reaction. Thermosyphon targets have design and operating characteristics which enable higher power operation than conventional boiling targets of like size. Experimental thermosyphon target systems demonstrated the feasibility of high intensity irradiation via bottom pressurized operation. An effective experimental characterization platform was developed and utilized in parallel with computational modeling efforts to further improve designs. A control strategy was al

Since its discovery in 1896, radioactivity has been used in various application areas of physics. In particular, it was immediately clear its potential use in life sciences. In particular, it is actually used in metabolic radiotherapy, which uses radionuclides labelled to suitable molecules (i.e. radiopharmaceuticals). This is a practice well established and successful in the fight against cancer and other diseases. Together with the well-known radionuclides used in medicine, the attention is now focused one the ones of next generation. One of these is rhenium-186g, which is currently used in

This study examines how Media Logic of YouTube and Twitch affects individual creators who works with creating content on the two platforms. It touches upon the different structures of Media Logic that exists over social media platforms and a little bit on how they have changed over the years. Most importantly it examines what a content creators work process and structure looks like and how that is affected by the different Media Logic structures. This subject is original since there is not previously made another likewise study around this particular subject. This not only makes it an explorat

Trans-complementation of gpE1/gpE2 allows recovery of infectious Hepatitis C virus Although observed for other members of the Flaviviridae including bovine diarrea virus and Kunjin virus, trans-complementation of replication-defective replicons was never observed for hepatitis C virus (HCV). This suggested an isolated and independent nature of the HCV replication complexes, with little or not exchange of factors between them. In particular, HCV non structural proteins seem to remain associated to their respective complexes and may not be able to access other complexes. In the present wo
