Full textThis PhD thesis consists on the virtual reinstallation of A Casa Tomada exhibition (by Julio Cortázar) with drawings that did not work. Drawings from 1978/1980. The prime of post-Caravaggio chiaroscuro, by Joinville-born artist Luiz Henrique Schwanke, at the National Fine Arts Museum, of Rio de Janeiro, in 1980. Such reinstallation is anchored on educational curating, understood in the context of this research as a way to plan exhibitions for all kinds of public, through the means of which art is articulated with the individual and with society, so that it is activated as an instrument of cultural action. This exhibition is at Schwanke Virtual Museum of Contemporary Art, located in the website of the museum, which does not have a physical headquarters yet, but is already active through its programs and actions. We defend the existence of the museum in the virtual network environment, just as utilizing this space from the exploration of its specificities, that is, as a means to enlarge the actions of the museum and activate its collection, for delight, research and studies, without reproducing the resources of the physical reality. Thus, the virtual version of the exhibition is based on the exploration of non-linear and hypermediatic nature of cyberspace, and not in the attempt to reproduce the space and the logic of exhibitions that exist in physical reality, which, as said, was achieved by the means of educational curating.

Full textStarting from a general problem, such as traffic accidents, and delimit the land of reality and therefore the object of study, this research intends to investigate how the professional skills of trainers program apply Offender Awareness for safe Mobility (SIMS program), in the courses of driving license points in Catalonia, can influence the changing attitudes of the drivers by reducing their risk behaviors and attitudes increased driving safety. The theme of the research focuses on the training and evaluation of skills training for teachers vial, which have acquired specific training to successfully implement the SIMS program for the prevention of accidents, based on the Model of Change Attitudes.. This research project is divided into three parts or blocks. The first part (Theoretical Framework), brings together the different perspectives, visions and theories, which have more consideration for the study and treatment of traffic accidents related to the human factor, specifically with education and training in road safety, where is argued that training or education is the turning point for the loss of traffic accidents. In chapter one describes the magnitude of the problem of traffic accidents, and provides an overview of the procedures that have been put in place to prevent accidents or mitigate their effects: new regulations, improving road infrastructure, improving safety systems in vehicles and above show the importance of training in solving this problem. Chapter two is dedicated to reviewing as partial models of perceptual-cognitive basis, adhering to the traditional line driver training, have contributed to the prevention and reduction of traffic accidents. The third chapter refers to those global models related to the comprehensive online training that go beyond perceptual vision and include in addition to the cognitive-perceptual, behavior and emotions of driver. This first part closes with the fourth chapter, which describes the importance of optimizing the formation of professional skills of trainers, responsible for implementing the program, and therefore have to ensure that the offending drivers make a change in attitudes that facilitates their risk behavior patterns are swapped for driving safety. In the second part (methodological framework), exposes how has made the practice of research. In the fifth chapter sets out the objectives, methodology and research design, questions, population, sample, evaluative referents ... in addition to the information gathering process. It starts presenting the tools that have been designed for data collection. Also shown is the data collection planning and analysis process and triangulation of data from the various instruments used in this thesis. The third part includes the sixth chapter, where we present the Applied Framework, it reserves to describe in more detail the procedure used in the construction of instruments that have been developed "ad hoc" for this study. In the seventh chapter presents the results of the use of data collected from the various assessment tools, professional skills of trainers, subject matter of this work. In chapter eight we present the conclusions of the examination and proposes future research proposals related to this thesis.

The socio-educational programme Walking Family is implemented and evaluated within a broad project with a Virtual Environment (VE) as a media to support the practitioners. The aim of the study is to evaluate the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a media for training processes, assistance and data management during the implementation. An evaluative and non-experimental design was carried out with a mixed methodology in which 133 practitioners of the Spanish and Portuguese Child Welfare System participate. The main results about the ICT used show that they are adequate to exchange the evaluation data and to provide the materials of the programme while they present some limitations as a communication and continuous training media. Practitioners show they have the necessary knowledge to use the VE, although other barriers are identified for their participation. ICT in socio-educational programmes may take different functions but other contextual factors influence in their performance. The study contribute to knowledge about the use of ICT to support practitioners, although it also presents other guidelines for its global integration in socio-educational programmes.

Dosvox and Virtual Vision accessibility software are screen reader programs that allow reading of the information presented on computer screens through speech output using voice synthesis technology, making their use possible by people with blindness. The objective of this study was to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of a teaching program for the use of accessibility software Dosvox and Virtual Vision by students with blindness of elementary and middle school. To this end, we developed a quasiexperimental study with an AB design, attended by two students with blindness, 18 and 19 years old, who were attending the sixth grade of elementary school and the third year of middle school, respectively. Both attended the same Resource Room facility featured by a public school located within the countryside of the State of São Paulo. The Education Program was 30 hours long, with one hour weekly classes. The following tools have been used to collect data: a) A semi-structured interview, applied preintervention to check the suitability of participants to the inclusion criteria of the study and characterize them. b) The tasks protocol has been used to measure participants' knowledge at two different times: 1) before the education program had been applied (pre-intervention) and 2) after the education program was implemented (postintervention). c) Questionnaire to measure participants' satisfaction. d) Field diary to record the development of the education program. The analysis and interpretation of data was quantitative and qualitative: a) Quantitative evaluation of data from protocol tasks. b) Qualitative evaluation of data from semi-structured interview, from questionnaire and from the field diary. The results obtained in quantitative evaluation showed that performance of the first participant was better than that of the second participant. The qualitative evaluation has shown that the education program was effective for developing flexible teaching strategies that allowed participant 1, who had no computer and had no prior knowledge about the software, a great level of knowledge acquisition. Participant 2, who had a computer and prior knowledge about the software, was enabled to improve his technique so that now he performs numerous tasks with excellence. By making both of them able to use Microsoft Word and access the virtual environments with a computer equipped with Dosvox or Virtual Vision, the new pedagogical strategies arising from the use of computers in the classroom promoted the transition of the educational process of participant 2, previously marked by the demerit of his intellectual capacity, failure and assistance, to a new reality guided by equality and sharing with his peers. No considerations were made about the educational process of participant 1 due to the absence of a computer in the classroom where he had been studying.
