Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία περιλαμβάνει την πλήρη αυτοματοποίηση του τρόπου παραγωγής και διανομής των ηλεκτρικών παροχών στο Εργαστήριο Ηλεκτρομηχανικής Μετατροπής Ενέργειας του Τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Τεχνολογίας Υπολογιστών. Το πρώτο μέρος της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας αφορά την περιγραφή του συστήματος παροχών του ΕΗΜΕ. Γίνεται περιγραφή του υπάρχοντος εξόπλισμου και εξετάξεται η δυνατότητά του να λειτουργήσει με PLC. Έκτοτε έχουν κατασκευαστεί πολλά ρομπότ τα οποία εξομοιώνουν πλήρως την κίνηση των θηλαστικών, των πτηνών και των ερπετών και συμπεριφέρονται ακριβώς όπως αυτά. Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής είναι ο έλεγχος ενός ανάστροφου εκκρεμούς φορτίου πλατφόρμας-σφαίρας (cart-ball) με χρήση ασαφούς ελέγχου ο οποίος υλοποιείται σε ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή στο περιβάλλον προγραμματισμού National Instruments LabVIEW 2009. Αντικείμενο της παρούσας Διπλωματικής Εργασίας είναι η παρουσίαση, μελέτη και αξιολόγηση του Προγραμματιζόμενου Λογικού Ελεγκτή «OPTO 22 SNAP PAC».
