Cognitive ability of adolescents is often measured using the Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices (RSPM). However, the RSPM knows a long administration time which may be suboptimal, as time-on-task effects are known to increase fatigue, to lower motivation, and to worsen performance on cognitive tasks. Therefore, a shortened version for adolescents was developed recently. In the current preregistered study we investigated this shortened version in a sample of adolescents (N = 99) of average educational backgrounds. Abstract:
The progressive accelerated social development in recent years has made education and the recently approached neuroscience become closely related areas that explore how the human brain works and its cognitive capacities can inform and improve pedagogical practices. It is becoming more and more clear that neuroscience helps teachers to better understand how learners perceive the act of learning, developing and retaining information, which can lead to the efficiency of teaching methods. This type of interdisciplinary approach is called educational neuroscience, aims at the practical application

Abstract:
Abstract Wind energy plays a crucial role in mitigating the environmental impact of modern society. As reliance on wind energy grows, ensuring the structural integrity of wind turbine blades becomes increasingly important. This is the main driving motivation for the development of advanced monitoring and modelling techniques capable of providing accurate and efficient predictions of blade behaviour. This study focuses on the application of finite element modelling to characterise wind turbine blades, with particular emphasis on the DTU 10MW Reference Wind Turbine — a shell model of an 89.2 m b

Abstract:
The study of expressions of filiation has already been the subject of several articles, which were limited to periods prior to the Third Intermediate Period. The aim of this article is to evaluate these expressions within the specific framework of the Books of the Dead from the 21st and 22nd Dynasties. These periods are marked by a significant increase in the variety of expressions employed, whereas the New Kingdom manuscripts expressed filiation according to a more uniform and rigid scheme. Similarly to what happens with titles and despite the diversity of expressions, one observes a progress

Abstract:
Comment réussit-on à promouvoir l’engagement social? L’étude de cas du GDI «S’engager ici et maintenant: quatre exemples de mobilisation de nouveaux bénévoles réussie» s’intéresse à quatre organisations qui soutiennent avec succès un engagement ponctuel et peu contraignant: Critical
