Abstract:
Penulisan ini tertumpu kepada dapatan data dari projek pilot kajian teknik penjarian IMR (Index, Middle, Ring) yang menekan bod jari bes elektrik dalam melakukan persembahan solo bes. Penentuan kelajuan jari melakukan peralihan dan lintasan tali, artikulasi teknik hammer on, pull off dan trill serta kekuatan jari unuk melakukan teknik bending antara permasalahan penjarian yang timbul semasa melakukan persembahan solo bes. Oleh itu, perungkaian penjarian IMR dalam menyediakan pilihan jari untuk melakukan persembahan solo bes akan dikaji dalam membantu membendung pemasalahan ini. Projek pilot melalui kajian ini adalah projek eksperimentasi pembacaan keratan nota muzik yang mana di dalam nota muzik tersebut memiliki elemen yang merangkumi pemasalahan dan objektif kajian. Keratan notasi ini dicipta mengikut kesesuaian inti pati kajian dan dicaturkan kesemuanya pada satu frasa notasi solo yang panjang sekitar 10 bar. Elemen yang ditampilkan adalah hasil rujukan 4 solo bes yang telah ditranskrip dari 4 pemain bes terkemuka. Peralihan dan perlintasan jari diambil dari rujukan solo bes Tom Kenedy dan Geddy Lee. Perlenturan not merujuk kepada solo bes Jaco Pastorius. Artikulasi Hammer On, Pull Off dan Trill adalah melalui Jeff Andrew dan Geddy Lee. Projek pilot ini melibatkan 8 pemain bes dari kalangan pelajar diperingkat Diploma dan Sarjana Muda. Pemilihan pemain bes ini dipilih mengikut syarat kaedah yang telah ditetapkan. Proses projek pilot ini telah mengambil masa beberapa jam untuk diselesaikan. Melalui penghasilan data pilot projek ini akan menunjukkan keberkesanan teknik penjarian IMR dalam mengatasi pemasalahan dan membantu mencapai objektif kajian.

W artykule zostało podjęte zagadnienie związane ze społecznością igersów – grupą fanów fotografii mobilnej i Instagrama, która działa na całym świecie od 2011 roku. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie, w jaki sposób powstał ten projekt i jak jest realizowany, a także to, jaki ma wpływ zarówno na grupę, działania społeczne oraz marketingowe. W szczególności podjęta została tematyka funkcjonowania tej grupy społecznej. Podstawowym pytaniem jest to, w jaki sposób powstają lokalne społeczności igersów, mimo braku warun­ków do tworzenia społeczności na Instagramie. W badaniach zastosowano analizę profili i blogów prowadzonych przez grupy lokalne, których rezulta­tem było opisanie ich działalności zarówno w aspekcie globalnym, jak i lokal­nym, a także ukazanie, że pomimo oparcia społeczności na social mediach, kontakt rzeczywisty jest równie istotny.

Abstract:
In real-world project scheduling applications, activity durations are often uncertain. Proactive scheduling can effectively cope with the duration uncertainties, by generating robust baseline solutions according to a priori stochastic knowledge. However, most of the existing proactive approaches assume that the duration uncertainty of an activity is not related to its scheduled start time, which may not hold in many real-world scenarios. In this paper, we relax this assumption by allowing the duration uncertainty to be time-dependent, which is caused by the uncertainty of whether the activity can be executed on each time slot. We propose a stochastic optimization model to find an optimal Partial-order Schedule (POS) that minimizes the expected makespan. This model can cover both the time-dependent uncertainty studied in this paper and the traditional time-independent duration uncertainty. To circumvent the underlying complexity in evaluating a given solution, we approximate the stochastic optimization model based on Sample Average Approximation (SAA). Finally, we design two efficient branch-and-bound algorithms to solve the NP-hard SAA problem. Empirical evaluation confirms that our approach can generate high-quality proactive solutions for a variety of uncertainty distributions.

Abstract:
The HERMES Cognitive Care and Guidance for Active Aging project proposes an integrated approach to cognitive assistance, promoting the autonomy of elderly users through pervasive technology. This work aims to describe elderly people’s opinions when they are presented scenarios developed in this project. Two focus groups were organized in Austria and Spain with a view to collecting their impressions about the way in which the technological device can cover their needs; complementarily, a second session was conducted including a quantitative questionnaire. Although some participants were reluctant to use the technology, they welcomed some functionalities of the HERMES system and they considered that using them can help them to become familiar with them. Usefulness, usability, and use of real-life information for functionalities such as cognitive games are considered to be key areas of the project. This evaluation has provided the developers of the system with meaningful information to improve it and it guarantees that the system addresses elderly people’s needs.

Abstract:
The Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE) has set up automatic weather stations at six sites on a 1000 km long traverse route between Syowa station (21 ma.s.l..) and Dome Fuji station (3810 ma.s.l.) since 1993. Large temperature rises in winter were observed several times in this area. There were two patterns of time delay of the temperature rises. One was that the temperature rise at Mizuho station preceded that at other stations, and the other was that the temperature rise at Dome Fuji station preceded the others. The former occurred when a disturbance came from the coast between east Enderby Land and the Amery Ice Shelf and strong winds destroyed the stable inversion layer. The latter occurred when the low-pressure center was near the coast of west Wilkes Land. in this case, temperature rise was caused by adveclion of warm air. The atmospheric pressure at Dome Fuji station and Relay Point oscillated with a period of 0.5 year and amplitude of about 15hPa. The pressure was higher in July and December, and was accompanied by a temperature rise. Fluctuations of hourly air temperature at Dome Fuji station were approximately twice as large as fluctuations at the other sites. The lapse rale of the annual mean temperature increased with elevation, while the monthly lapse rate was largest in April.

The UNESCO Global Geoparks is a good didactic instrument that allows teaching territorial elements in transversal way. The geopark provides a means to address the teaching-learning process of both cultural values and natural values, including geology. This paper aims to highlight the educational activities that have emerged from the Villuercas UNESCO Global Geopark. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology based on document analysis and fieldwork has been used. Through a system of categories, we have analyzed the existing materials on the geopark’s website, its activity book and the schools that have been part of its educational project. The geopark and educational centers collaboration has 76 educational proposals that are developed in the territory of the geopark. Since 2011, all schools in its area of action participate in its educational project with a total of 2500 students per year. The Villuercas geopark involves all students in its territory and encourages learning of a significant, transversal and collaborative type. In the same way, it has a positive impact on environmental awareness and respect for the environment and cultural resources.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengevaluasi kinerja proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit Banyumanik II serta memberikan rekomendasi penjadwalan ulang atas pelaksanaan proyek teresebut. Penilaian kinerja proyek pembangunan Rumah Sakit Banyumanik II akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Earned Value Analysis (EVA), sedangkan penjadwalan ulang atas pelaksanaan pekerjaan proyek tersebut akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). Hasil penilaian kinerja proyek dengan menggunakan EVA menunjukkan bahwa pada hari 315, kinerja proyek kurang baik. Perbandingan antara estimasi nilai (value) pekerjaan fisik yang sebenarnya yang telah selesai dengan porsi total estimasi biaya yang sudah disetujui untuk dikeluarkan untuk proyek selama 315 hari (scheduling performance index) memiliki nilai kurang dari 1 (76,8%). Pengerjaan proyek tertinggal dari jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. Perbandingan nilai antara estimasi nilai (value) pekerjaan fisik yang sebenarnya yang telah selesai dengan biaya total langsung maupun tidak langsung yang digunakan dalam rangka menyelesaikan proyek sesuai aktivitasnya (cost performance index) selama 315 hari memiliki nilai kurang dari 1 (91,8%). Biaya proyek melebihi biaya yang dianggarkan sampai dengan periode tersebut. Selanjutnya, terdapat beberapa skenario untuk penyelesaian proyek apabila penjadwalan ulang atas sisa kegiatan dari proyek dilakukan dengan mengacu pada kondisi proyek pada hari ke-315. AbstractThis study aims to evaluate the performance of the construction project of Banyumanik II Hospital and provide some recommendations for project rescheduling. Earned Value Analysis (EVA) is used as a method for evaluating a project performance; whereas, Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT)are used as a method for project rescheduling. The result of the evaluation of project performance using EVA shows that the construction project of Banyumanik Hospital II has poor performance on day 315. The comparison between the estimation of the original budget that has been earned by actual work completed and the planned time-phased baseline of the value of the work scheduled (scheduling performance index) on day 315 less than 1 (76.8%). Its mean the project behind the schedule. Manajemen proyek dapat pula digunakan untuk memperkirakan adanya percepatan proyek (crasing) pada Qiscus Pte Ltd. Dengan penyusunan suatu manajemen proyek yang baik, maka dapat dilakukan estimasi waktu dan biaya yang diperlukan dalam menjalankan proyek, sehingga dapat meminimasi kerugian biaya akibat kemungkinan keterlambaran proyek. Perencanaan manajemen proyek yang dilakukan untuk menjalankan proyek Hayyan, Qiscus Pte Ltd, menghasilkan estimasi percepatan pengerjaan proyek selama 6 hari, dengan penambahan biaya sebesar 2,8 juta. Abstract Project management is a strategy that needs to be done in achieving the efficiency and effectiveness of a company. Technology development in this era is along with the development company engaged in technology services, such as Qiscus Pte Ltd. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai mata pelajaran, guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan. Di dalam kelas pembelajaran masih mendorong untuk mengahafal informasi tanpa fasilitas yang mengarah pada hubungan materi dengan pengetahuan siswa. Hal tersebut menyebabkan anak tidak bisa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikirnya, dan cenderung pasif serta tidak antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning berbasis etnosains terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Kedondong 2 Kecamatan Gajah Kabupaten Demak dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kedondong 2 dengan menggunakan model project based learning berbasis etnosains. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan desain Pre-Experimental Designs dengan bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kedondong 2 yang berjumlah 25. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas awal dan akhir, uji beda rata-rata, uji ketuntasan belajar dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dan diperoleh koefisien determinasinya sebesar 64 %. Pada uji independen juga diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 6740,79 dan Ftabel = 4,28. Jadi Fhitung ˃ Ftabel jadi H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti ada pengaruh model project based learning berbasis etnosains. Sedangkan pada uji beda rata-rata diperoleh menggunakan uji beda rata-rata thitung sebesar = 17,04 dan ttabel sebesar = 2,021. Jadi thitung ˃ ttabel, maka H0 diterima artinya ada rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model PJbL berbasis etnosains lebih dar aktivitas belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model PJbL berbasis etnosains.

<p>Artykuł poświęcony jest twórczości Dmitrija Bogosławskiego, białoruskiego dramatopisarza piszącego po rosyjsku. Celem badania jest ustalenie cech światopoglądu białoruskiego aktora, reżysera i autora tekstów dramatycznych na podstawie analizy wybranych utworów oraz prześledzenie ewolucji twórczej autora. Przedmiotem szczegółowej analizy stała się próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jaki sposób białoruski obrzęd dziady, rozumiany jako element mentalnego obrazu świata Białorusinów, obecny jest w dramaturgii Bogosławskiego. Przeprowadzona analiza tekstów i spektakli wyreżyserowanych przez Bogosławskiego pozwala na stwierdzenie, że temat oderwania od korzeni i powrotu do domu należy do najważniejszych w jego twórczości. Kontakt z przodkami, którzy spoczywają w rodzinnej ziemi, wymusza na bohaterach relacje ze światem duchów i wprowadza w rytualny krąg „dziadów”. Przedstawiając w twórczości dramatopisarskiej i reżyserskiej świat duchów, istniejący obok świata żyjących, Bogosławski konsekwentnie realizuje na gruncie współczesnego teatru i dramatu swoisty — mocno osadzony w tradycji i mentalności białoruskiej — projekt „dziady”.<strong></strong></p>

This paper describes the user interface design, and subsequent usability evaluation of the EU FP6 funded Easyline+ project, which involved the development of ambient assistive technology to support elderly and disabled people in their interaction with kitchen appliances. During this process, established usability design guidelines and principles were considered. The authors’ analysis of the applicability of these has led to the development of a new set of principles, specifically for the design of ambient computer systems. This set of principles is referred to as SCUFF, an acronym for simplicity, consistency, universality, flexibility and familiarity. These evaluations suggest that adoption of the SCUFF principles was successful for the Easyline+ project, and that they can be used for other ambient technology projects, either as complementary to, or as an alternative to more generic and partially relevant principles.

IT-ASSIST is a twenty months research project which has the goal to give elderly people the opportunity to profit from digital media. Suffering from age related impairments concerning vision, hearing, or dexterity and bad hand-eye coordination are challenges when designing user interfaces for elderly people. Common approaches are trying to model systems for specific impairments. In this project, the authors follow the approach to set up interfaces and systems that can be used independent from personal impairments. Customization has adapted these systems to be in accordance with personnel impairments. Common applications like photo editing, digital mailing or internet browsing in a redesigned form provide social communication accordingly. In this article, a prototype of a customized user interface, its implementation, and results of user studies are presented and discussed.

The project, which is now run already efficient, but to improve services to car manufacturers and to lower the cost of manufacturing the dies on the project it is necessary to compare the code in order to produce a numerical control machining program efficiency. The measures focused on the machining process because there are inefficiencies in the machining program code. Therefore, it will do the analysis of the technical terms in order to get an efficient machining program, so it can reduce the operational costs of the project 640A 53711/12 drawing process. Numerical control (NC) or machining of the program comes from Catia software and MASTERCAM. Numerical control resulting from more effective MASTERCAM machining program for the data that appears in accordance with the dies face (G01: data flat, G02 / G03: Data radius) and therefore contributes to machining machine age. The results of the analysis techniques that select programming from the machining MASTERCAM because it is more effective and calculate the percentage efficiency of the machining program MASTERCAM when compared with catia amounted to 49.36%.

As escolas visitadas localizam-se em comunidades ribeirinhas, no município de Vitória do Jari, no Sul do Estado do Amapá, Norte do Brasil. Para que a avaliação diagnóstica dos alunos acontecesse foi elaborado um projeto pela equipe pedagógica da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, no qual se propôs que a avaliação fosse realizada por meio de atividades lúdicas, jogos e brincadeiras, cuidadosamente escolhidos, como ferramentas neste processo avaliativo. A avaliação foi realizada em todas as escolas do campo do município. O ambiente natural e o fazer da comunidade local também foram bastante relevantes, durante a vivência do projeto avaliativo.

Scheduling problems in manufacturing, logistics and project management have frequently been modeled using the framework of Resource Constrained Project Scheduling Problems with minimum and maximum time lags (RCPSP/max). Due to the importance of these problems, providing scalable solution schedules for RCPSP/max problems is a topic of extensive research. However, all existing methods for solving RCPSP/max assume that durations of activities are known with certainty, an assumption that does not hold in real world scheduling problems where unexpected external events such as manpower availability, weather changes, etc. lead to delays or advances in completion of activities. Thus, in this paper, our focus is on providing a scalable method for solving RCPSP/max problems with durational uncertainty. To that end, we introduce the robust local search method consisting of three key ideas: (a) Introducing and studying the properties of two decision rule approximations used to compute start times of activities with respect to dynamic realizations of the durational uncertainty; (b) Deriving the expression for robust makespan of an execution strategy based on decision rule approximations; and (c) A robust local search mechanism to efficiently compute activity execution strategies that are robust against durational uncertainty. Furthermore, we also provide enhancements to local search that exploit temporal dependencies between activities. Our experimental results illustrate that robust local search is able to provide robust execution strategies efficiently.

A seven-year program, designated “Research and Development of Automotive CGT,” commenced in June 1990 with the object of demonstrating the potential advantages of ceramic gas turbine engines for automotive use. This program has been conducted by the Petroleum Energy Center (PEC) with the support of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. The engine demonstration project in this program is being handled by a team from Japan Automobile Research Institute, Inc. (JARI). This paper describes the activities of the first year of the seven-year program, and includes the project goals and objectives, the program schedule, and the first-stage design of an experimental automotive ceramic gas turbine (CGT) engine and its components. The basic engine is a 100 kW, single-shaft gas turbine engine having a turbine inlet temperature of 1350°C and a rotor speed of 110,000 rpm. The primary engine components including the turbine hot flow path components have been designed using monolithic ceramics and are scheduled to be produced during the second year of the program.

Este trabalho faz a análise das sobreposições territoriais da área de manejo florestal do Grupo Jari, de iniciativa privada, na Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Rio Iratapuru e no Projeto de Assentamento Agroextrativista do Rio Maracá, situados no sul do Amapá e suas implicações no processo de gestão territorial e ambiental. Com base em análise espacial de dados em Sistema de Informações Geográficas e pesquisa documental confeccionou-se o mapa das sobreposições territoriais existentes. A partir desse mapa calculou-se a extensão e localização das sobreposições territoriais e algumas implicações nas dinâmicas territoriais, sociais, econômicas e ambientais em função dos usos da terra.</p>
