Data were analyzed by content analysis technique.ResultsThe permissiveness of sexual behavior of teenagers will have an impact, and is easily affected by promiscuity behavior. The influence of peer group or peers is very dominant in the behavior of teen promiscuity. Lack of adolescent awareness about the dangers of promiscuity, the orientation of seeking pleasure and curiosity triggers the behavior of teen promiscuity by exploiting loopholes of rules and lack of control. The confidence and experience of the impact of promiscuity behavior becomes the dominant factor so that teenagers who do not behave with promiscuity do not repeat the behavior. Impact of juvenile promiscuity behavior among others included being ostracized, gonorrhea, syphilis, and genital herpes and other sexually transmitted diseases.ConclusionGreater supervision is needed from various sectors and enforcement of the rules so that the behavior and impact of promiscuity can be minimized. The supervision of teenagers’ association will have an impact on adolescent behavior.

Zusammenfassung Einleitung: Sexualpolitische Themen wie das Recht von Frauen auf Informationen zum Schwangerschaftsabbruch, sexuelle Vielfalt als Thema des Schulunterrichts und das Adoptionsrecht für homosexuelle Paare dominieren die öffentliche Debatte. Der sogenannte Wertekonflikt zwischen Liberalen versus Konservativen / Linken versus Rechten lässt sich besonders in der Erforschung von Einstellungen zu sexualitätsbezogenen Themen erkennen. Während die Mehrzahl der großen internationalen Survey-Untersuchungen zur Erfassung sexueller Verhaltensweisen Fragen zu sexualitätsbezogenen Einstellungen einbezog, existiert bisher keine systematische, repräsentative Studie zu sexualitätsbezogenen Einstellungen in Deutschland. Forschungsziele: Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags ist es, Einstellungen in Deutschland zu ausgewählten sexualitätsbezogenen Themen darzustellen: Sex außerhalb der Ehe, gleichgeschlechtliche Sexualkontakte von Männern und Frauen, Sexarbeit, Schwangerschaftsabbruch sowie Promiskuität. Methoden: Die Daten wurden im Rahmen der Pilotstudie zur Erwachsenensexualität in Deutschland (vgl. Matthiesen et al. 2018, in diesem Heft) erhoben. Insgesamt wurden die sexualitätsbezogenen Einstellungen von 950 Männern und Frauen im Alter zwischen 18 und 75 Jahren ausgewertet. Ergebnisse: Durchschnittlich wurden die erhobenen Variablen eher akzeptierend beantwortet. Ausnahmen stellten die Einstellung zu Sex außerhalb der Ehe sowie zu einer hohen Anzahl wechselnder Sexualpartner_innen dar – diese stießen auf weniger Akzeptanz im Vergleich zu den anderen sexualitätsbezogenen Einstellungen. Schlussfolgerung: In Deutschland überwiegen gegenwärtig liberale Einstellungen gegenüber gleichgeschlechtlichen Sexualkontakten, Schwangerschaftsabbruch und Sexarbeit. Sex außerhalb der Ehe und ein promiskuitives Sexualverhalten stießen auf weniger Akzeptanz. Die Ergebnisse der Pilotstudie legen nahe, dass die sexuellen Einstellungen der Deutschen eine permissive, aber monogame Werteorientierung unterstützen.

Prisutnost dijalektalnih komediografa Angela Beolca zvanog Ruzante, Andrea Calma i Gigija Artemi ja Giancarlija u renesansnom teatru djelovalo je izazovno na mnoge umišljene umjetnike koji su u dijalektalnoj ili pluridijalektalnoj upotrebi vidjeli izlaz za svoj deficitarni talent.1 Jezični i dijalektalni promiskuitet — usmjeren na mehaničko izazivanje smijeha — sam je po sebi ukazivao na dezintegracioni proces renesansnog izražajnog jedinstva i otvarao put commedi ji dell’arte, gdje se pretvorio u neku vrstu pokretačke snage ili je postao surogat komične komponente. Abstract:
Abstract: Adamantiades-Behcet (AB) disease is a rare multi-systemic inflammatory disorder with unknown cause. It is characterized by recurrent mucocutaneous ulcer in the mouth and genitalia, and mostly affects the age group of 20 to 30 ys. Genital lesion of AB must be differentiated from others caused by sexually transmitted disease, such as genital herpes. Co-infection of AB with genital herpes is very rare. We reported a male 72-year old, came with painful ulcers in the mouth and genital area since a week before visit. Symptoms were recurrent since three years ago. History of arthritis, recurrent headache, eye and skin lesions were denied. Patient was sexually promiscuous. Physical examination revealed multiple ulcers on the labium oris sized 0.5cm-1cm, irregular border, base covered by fibrin tissue, associated with erosion and crust. Multiple ulcers were also found on penile glans, sized 0.1x1x0.2 cm, irregular border, with pus and necrotic tissue. The ulcers were punched out. Pathergy test and anti HSV-1 IgM were negative meanwhile anti HSV-1 IgG, anti HSV-2 IgM as well as anti HSV-2 IgG were positive. Acyclovir 200mg 5x/day for five days, triamcinolone acetonide lotion bid for the mouth ulcer, NaCl 0,9% dressing applied tid for 30 minutes, and fucidic acid cream bid were given and the symptoms improved after 10 days. The prognosis was bonam for ad vitam and dubia for ad functionam and ad sanationam. Conclusion: The diagnosis of AB was based on the International Criteria for Behcet Disease, with a total score of 4 for the recurrent ulcer in mouth and genital area. The positive result of anti HSV-1 IgG, anti HSV-2 IgM and anti HSV-2 IgG supported the coinfection with genital herpes. This coinfection of AB and genital herpes was the first reported in Manado. Immunosenescence was a possible risk factor of the recurrent genital herpes. Symptomatic and antiviral treatment improved the symptoms with possible recurrent genital herpes.Keywords: Adamantiades-Behcet, genital herpes, coinfectionAbstrak: Penyakit Adamantiades-Behçet (AB) merupakan kelainan inflamasi multisistemik yang tidak diketahui penyebabnya dengan manifestasi mukokutan tersering berupa ulkus berulang pada mulut dan genital. Penyakit ini terutama terjadi pada usia 20-30an. Lesi genital pada AB perlu dibedakan dengan ulkus genital akibat infeksi menular seksual termasuk herpes genitalis. Koinfeksi AB dan herpes genitalis jarang terjadi. Kami melaporkan kasus seorang laki-laki, usia 72 tahun, dengan keluhan luka di bibir dan kelamin yang nyeri sejak 1 minggu lalu, bersifat hilang-timbul selama 3 tahun terakhir. Riwayat nyeri sendi, sakit kepala berulang, serta kelainan kulit disangkal. Terdapat riwayat promiskuitas yang tinggi. Pada pemeriksaan fisik di regio labialis oris ditemukan ulkus multipel, diameter ±0,5-1 cm, tepi tidak teratur, dasar tertutup jaringan fibrin, dengan erosi dan krusta. Di regio glans penis ditemukan ulkus multipel, ukuran bervariasi ± 1x2x0,2cm, tepi tidak teratur, dasar tertutup pus dan jaringan nekrotik, terdapat punch out dan erosi. Tes patergi negatif. Pemeriksaan anti HSV-1 IgM (-), anti HSV-1 IgG (+), anti HSV-2 IgM dan IgG (+). Terapi asiklovir 5 x 200 mg/hari selama 5 hari, salep triamsinolon asetonid 2 kali oles, kompres terbuka NaCl 0,9% 3 x30 menit/hari, krim asam fusidat 2 kali oles, memberikan perbaikan klinis setelah 10 hari pengobatan. Prognosis quo ad vitam bonam, quo ad functionam, quo ad sanationam ad dubia. Simpulan: Pada kasus ini, diagnosis AB ditegakkan berdasarkan International Criteria for Behcet Disease yaitu ditemukannya ulkus berulang di mulut dan di genital, masing-masing mendapat nilai 2, sehingga nilai total ialah 4. Ditemukannya anti HSV-1 IgG, anti HSV-2 IgG dan IgM positif, menunjang diagnosis tambahan herpes genital (rekuren). Koinfeksi AB dengan herpes genital baru pertama kali dijumpai di Manado. Keadaan immunosenescence kemungkinan menjadi faktor pencetus terjadinya rekurensi herpes genital. Pasien sembuh dengan terapi simtomatis dan antivirus, meskipun kemungkinan rekurensi dapat terjadi lagi.Kata kunci: Adamantiades-Behcet, herpes genital, koinfeksi

Abstract:
SH3-Domänen sind Proteinmodule, die über die Erkennung prolinreicher Peptidsequenzen Protein-Protein-Interaktionen in einer Vielzahl von zellulären Prozessen vermitteln. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Erkennung von Peptidliganden durch ausgewählte SH3–Domänen hinsichtlich Selektivität versus Promiskuität untersucht. Diese Arbeiten dienten als Vorversuche für einen kompletten proteomischen Ansatz aller SH3-Domänen aus S. cerevisiae. Für die vier ausgewählten SH3-Domänen, nämlich Myo5, Abp1, Yhr016 und Rvs167, wurden die Ligandenpräferenzen durch Interaktionsanalysen mit einem vollständigen Satz prolinreichen Peptidliganden, abgeleitet aus dem Hefeproteom ermittelt. Hierzu wurde ein Peptid–Array Ansatz gewählt. Mit der SPOT-Technologie wurden 2953 15mere Peptide als Array auf einem Celluloseträger Schritt für Schritt synthetisiert. Hierfür wurde zuerst die Art des Celluloseträgers festgelegt und anschließend überprüft, ob sich ein Array mehrmals in Interaktionsexperimenten verwenden lässt. Es zeigte sich, dass eine Regeneration der Arrays nicht möglich war, so dass für jedes Interaktionsexperiment ein neues Peptidarray synthetisiert werden musste. Die Interaktionsstudien bestätigten die Bindung prolinreicher Sequenzmotive als eine universelle Eigenschaft der vier SH3-Domänen, wobei die einzelnen SH3–Domänen-Peptid-Interaktionen von zusätzlichen, spezifitätsdetermierenden Resten im Liganden abhängig waren. Darüber hinaus zeigten die Experimente deutliche Unterschiede hinsichtlich Selektivität und Promiskuität im Erkennungsverhalten der vier Domänen. Die Domänen konnten nach steigender Selektivität an Hand der Bestimmung von Grenzwerten und Integralen geordnet werden, nämlich Myo5 < Abp1 < Yhr016 < Rvs167. Ein gemeinsamer Ligand für alle vier Domänen konnte nicht identifiziert werden. Dagegen konnten gemeinsame Liganden für die Domänenpaare Myo5/Abp1 und Yhr016/Rvs167 bestimmt werden. Die Bindungspräferenzen zweier ausgewählter Liganden, dem Myo5/Abp1 Liganden ERPKRRAPPPAPKKP und dem Yhr016/Rvs167 Liganden VQQDSLPKLPFRSWG, wurden mit Hilfe von Substitutions- und Längenanalysen detailliert charakterisiert. Es zeigte sich deutlich, dass die selektiveren SH3-Domänen Yhr016 und Rvs167 einen klar definierten und kurzen Konsensus im Liganden binden, hingegen die mehr promiskuitiven Domänen Myo5 und Abp1 ein stärker variables und längeres Motiv im Liganden erkennen. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit zeigten, dass die hier gewählte Methode geeignet ist, die proteomische Charakterisierung aller dreißig Hefe SH3-Domänen in Angriff zu nehmen.
SH3-Domains are protein modules, which recognize polyproline sequences. The Domains are involved in a variety of cellular processes. The recognition rules between peptide ligands and selected SH3-Domains were analysed in respect of selectivity versus promiscuity. This dissertation is a preliminary test for subsequent scanning the whole number of yeast SH3-Domains. The SH3-Domains Myo5, Abp1, Yhr016 and Rvs167 were selected and chosen for interaction with all yeast polyproline ligands. A peptide array was chosen and built up with SPOT-Synthesis. 2953 15-mere peptides were spotted as an array on a cellulose membrane and inspected for regeneration method. The regeneration failed and therefore four arrays were synthesised. The scanning experiments revealed an interaction between Ligand and Domain with a common polyproline core. However, these experiments demonstrated as well that specific residues were needed for operative ligand domain interaction. In addition, these four SH3-Domains exhibited clear differences in selectivity and promiscuity of recognition profiles. The integrals and the results after the setting of the threshold showed a distinct increase in selectivity. The arrangement was based on the increasing selectivity: 1. Myo5 2. Abp1 3. but cases of consistency were found between Abp1- and Myo5-SH3, as well as ligands between Yhr16- and Rvs167-SH3. The Myo5-/Abp1-Ligand ERPKRRAPPPAPKKP and the Yhr016-/Rvs167 ligand VQQDSLPKLPFRSWG were selected for characterisation of the peptide domain interaction through the analysis of substitution and length. The data showed that more selective Domains like Yhr016 and Rvs167 had a well-defined and short consensus, whereas more promiscuous Domains like Yhr016 and Rvs167 showed a mutable and longer consensus. In conclusion, the data showed that the SPOT-Synthesis is a suitable technique for a proteomic characterisation of the whole 30 yeast SH3-Domains.

Extra-pair paternity, resulting from sexual promiscuity, is frequently detected in socially monogamous passerines. Previous studies on extra-pair paternity in birds have identified several traits correlated with increased fertilization success of males. However, the effect of experimental manipulation of ornament expression on male fertilization success has only seldom been evaluated. The aim of this thesis is to reveal the potential link between the size of a trait suposedly playing a role in female mate choice decision and male fertilization success in collared flycatchers (Ficedula albicollis), using experimental manipulation of male forehead white patch size. In addition, mating success, mating speed of the manipulated and control individuals and size of a brood (a proxy for female reproductive investments) were evaluated. Results indicate that forehead patch size manipulation did not affect male social pairing success (mating speed), his social mate reproductive investments (brood size) or male extra-pair and within-pair fertilization success. Abstract:
Within a lifetime of an individual, there are changes in the organism leading to an an impairment of phenotype, survival and reproduction. The expression of phenotypic traits often increases with age. Higher expression of these traits in the young age can lead to decreased probability of survival till the next season, influencing reproductive success of an individual. That is why organisms are challenged with trade-offs, when they have to allocate their limited resources either into the reproduction in form of expression of extravagant sex ornaments or into the life span. If the ornament evolved as a handicap, its exaggerated size could reduce viability of low quality individuals. Therefore, the ornament becomes a predictor of quality of its bearer and its size indicates the ability to survive till the next season. Both sexual ornamentation and inter-individual variation in life span may result in differences in reproductive success (fitness) and targeted by sexual or natural selection. Variability in reproductive success, mainly in monogamous species, can be increased also by sexual promiscuity and extra-pair mating and extra-pair copulations. Abstract:
Sexual promiscuity, whereby females copulate with more than one male, is a quite common phenomenon in socially monogamous birds, and especially in songbirds. This behavior is assumed to influence the evolution of various anatomical traits associated with male ability to outcompete other males in the process of sperm competition. High promiscuity is, in a multi- species comparison, associated with higher relative testis mass, but may also affect sperm phenotypes and other male phenotypes. Sperm morphology is clearly differentiated across avian species and some studies suggest that stabilizing post-copulatory selection on sperm length is responsible for a clear association of between male variation in sperm length and levels of promiscuity. However, the association between other phenotypic traits and promiscuity remains less clear. In this study, I focus on sperm characteristics in relation to the estimated levels of promiscuity in songbirds of tropical and temperate zone climates, and across an altitudinal gradient in the tropics. I found that the coefficient of variation in sperm length, both between males (CVbm) and within males (CVwm), was indeed a good index of promiscuity. Abstract:
Klasické schéma vývoje hematopoetických buněk předpokládá časné oddělení lymfoidního a myeloidního prekurzoru. V poslední době jsou navrhovány složitější modely, které předpokládají větší flexibilitu hematopoezy a navrhují existenci progenitorů s lymfoidním i myeloidním potenciálem. Akutní hybridní leukémie jsou malignity, které podle různých kritérií nelze jednoznačně zařadit k lymfoidní nebo k myeloidní linii a jejichž chování spíše dává za pravdu novým modelům hematopoezy. Předkládaná práce se zabývala především výzkumem dětských leukémií s přesmykem z lymfoidní do myeloidní linie během indukční léčby. Jedná se o rozsáhlý projekt, v jehož rámci si diplomová práce si kladla za úkol určit liniové zařazení leukemických blastů pomocí detekce přestaveb genů pro imunoglobuliny a T-buněčné receptory (TCR). Potvrdili jsme, že myeloidní buňky derivované v průběhu léčby pochází u všech pacientů z původního lymfoidního klonu. Dále jsme u těchto případů zkoumali expresi vytipovaných genů ve srovnání s běžnými druhy leukémií. Třetí částí práce byl výzkum prognostického významu přítomnosti přestaveb TCR (a tedy příslušnosti k lymfoidní linii) u leukémií z T-lymfoidní řady.
