Abstract:
Pelvic pain (PP) is an important issue. Current definitions of PP do not reflect its topography, thereby providing prerequisites for arbitrary interpreting of the definition. The author describes PP terminology and classifications and suggests his definition of PP and its topographic classification. The author proposes "chronic tension pelvic pain" (a variant of dysfunctional pelvic pain) and gives pathogenic reasons for its clinical use as a nosological unit. This paper addresses the utility of classifying tension pelvic pain as coupled or not coupled with pelvic floor muscle tension. The author’s results illustrate challenging diagnostic screening of the causes of PP in outpatients referred to a neurologist by doctors of various specialties. The author concludes that PP should be considered an interdisciplinary phenomenon. Familiarizing with the causes of PP and pain patterns of various pathological conditions affecting pelvic organs allows for the rapid selection of adequate diagnostic algorithms. Abstract:
Cooperative learning is an instructional method based on teamwork, by reinforcing a student´s own learning as well as the learning of his or her fellow members. Thus, this kind of cooperative model achieves personal and team success at the same time. With this aim, an experience was designed where students from veterinary surgery and propaedeutics from the Universities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and CEU Cardenal Herrera of Valencia (UCH-CEU) simultaneously performed surgical practices in the Veterinary Medicine Degree. Propaedeutic students were evaluated previously and after the practical period with surgery multiple-choice questions and results were compared. The obtained results allow us to conclude that students after interaction gained advanced knowledge in veterinary surgery.

Abstract:
In this paper, I outline a propaedeutics of Islamic legal studies. I am using the term “propaedeutic” to refer to scholarship and pedagogy that introduces audiences to new material in a way that structures their curiosities and asks them to rethink commonplace familiar situations and assumptions. Those who teach about Islamic law in North American Islamic studies are working in an environment shaped by distinctive anxieties and preconceptions. Engaged scholarship informed by thinkers such as Wael Hallaq and Talal Asad seeks to disentangle conceptions of law from modern expectations of law enforcement, codification, and the supervisory neutrality of the state to consider other deliberations and practices of justice. Such propaedeutic scholarship should suggest how religious legal authority deals with more than just “spiritual” and “personal” matters. Imprecise introduction to the idea that Islamic legal opinion is non-binding can unintentionally imply that such opinion makes only moral suggestion that one chooses to follow or not. Scholarscritical of Max Weber’s judgment that Islamic jurisprudence amounts to little more than arbitrary invocations of authority should be careful not to present Islamic jurists as merely creatively “free” to be unsystematic and their decisions inconsequential if following them is not coerced. Drawing on the work of Hussein Agrama, I explore the idea of fatwa discernment as guiding counsel directed not at adversarial procedure but at ethical self-formation. Finally, I consider Saba Mahmood’s account of religious difference to suggest how Islamic legal traditions might complicate liberal ideas of jurisdiction.

Abstract:
Background. Infusion therapy (IT) is one of the main methods of drug therapy optimization. The essence of IT is to correct homeostasis disorders in order to detoxify, to restore the disrupted microcirculation and tissue perfusion, to eliminate the disorders of rheological and coagulation blood properties, to eliminate metabolic disorders, to improve drug delivery to the pathological focus, to restore circulating blood volume, to normalize fluid and electrolyte and acid-base balance. Objective. To describe modern IT. Materials and methods. Analysis of the literature sources on this topic. Results and discussion. Requirements for modern plasma substitutes include safety, sufficient and long-lasting volemic effect, rapid renal excretion, lack of accumulation and effect on the coagulation system, maximum similarity to blood plasma, and availability. There are several classes of plasma substitutes, and each of them has its own indications. For example, crystalloids are prescribed for dehydration, and colloids – for hypovolemia. The infusion volume is calculated based on the physiological needs of the organism, taking into account pathological fluid loss (fever, shortness of breath, postoperative wound drainage, vomiting, polyuria). Endogenous intoxication (EI) – a pathological condition that occurs as a result of exposure to toxic substances of exogenous or endogenous nature, which cause dysfunction and the development of extreme conditions – is an important field of IT application. EI can accompany chronic heart failure, peripheral vessels atherosclerosis, autoimmune and allergic diseases. Toxins have a direct (direct destruction of proteins and lipids, blocking of synthetic and oxidative processes in the cell) and indirect (microcirculation system and vascular tone disorders, changes of blood rheological properties) adverse effects. Clinical manifestations of EI include fever, malaise, and the dysfunction of various internal organs. As EI depletes the natural mechanisms of detoxification, worsens the clinical course of the disease, reduces drug sensitivity, suppresses immunity, it is an indication to detoxification via infusion. The tasks of the latter are to improve tissue perfusion, to provide hemodilution with a decrease in the toxins’ concentration, to stimulate diuresis, to eliminate acidosis, and to maintain the functional state of hepatocytes. For this purpose, solutions of polyatomic alcohols (Reosorbilact, Xylate, “Yuria-Pharm”) can be used. Reosorbilact increases the circulating blood volume, improves microcirculation and rheological blood properties, increases tissue perfusion, promotes “wash-out” of toxins, corrects acidosis and fluid and electrolyte balance, normalizes hepatocyte function, improving the own detoxification mechanisms. In case of microcirculation disturbances, it is reasonable to use the combined IT with the inclusion of Reosorbilact, Latren and Tivortin (“Yuria-Pharm”). Latren increases the elasticity of erythrocytes, reduces the aggregation of erythrocytes and platelets, normalizes the electrolyte composition of blood plasma, and Tivortin acts as a substrate for the formation of nitric oxide – the main signaling molecule of the endothelium. In addition to EI, IT usage is often prescribed for diabetic ketoacidosis. In such cases, it is advisable to use Xylate (“Yuria-Pharm”), which has antiketogenic properties, improves hemodynamics, corrects acidosis, and does not increase blood glucose levels. Xylate is recommended to be used only after preliminary rehydration with the help of isotonic saline solutions. Conclusions. 1. IT is an important method of treating a number of diseases. 2. EI accompanies not only diseases that involve intoxication syndrome, but also almost all internal diseases. 3. Reosorbilact and Xylate are the optimal solutions for detoxification. 4. It is reasonable to use combined IT, for example, the combination of Reosorbilact with Latren and Tivortin.

This article discusses the propaedeutics of solving extreme problems. As is known, such tasks play an important role in various fields of science and technology. They often reduce many of the problems that arise in the economy, industry and agriculture. As a rule, the solution of these problems requires the use of a fairly complex mathematical apparatus studied in higher education. However, many problems on the maximum and minimum can be solved by elementary means without the use of higher mathematics. The solution of such problems is very useful for students as propaedeutics of the relevant subjects.

Abstract:
Today, worldview, spiritual and moral problems that have always been reflected in education and upbringing come to the fore in society. In this situation, there is a demand for philosophical categories. One of the priority goals of education in modern conditions is the formation of a reasonable, reflexive person who is able to analyze their actions and the actions of other people. Modern science is characterized by an understanding of the absolute value and significance of childhood in the development of the individual, which implies the need for its multilateral study. In the conditions of democratization of all spheres of life, the child ceases to be a passive object of education and training, and becomes an active carrier of their own meanings of being and the subject of world creation. One of the realities of childhood is philosophizing, so it is extremely timely to address the identification of its place and role in the world of childhood. Children's philosophizing is extremely poorly studied, although the need for its analysis is becoming more obvious. Children's philosophizing is one of the forms of philosophical reflection, which has its own qualitative specificity, on the one hand, and commonality with all other forms of philosophizing, on the other. The social relevance of the proposed research lies in the fact that children's philosophizing can be considered as an intellectual indicator of a child's socialization, since the process of reflection involves the adoption and development of culture. Modern society, in contrast to the traditional one, is ready to "accept" a philosophizing child, which means that it is necessary to determine the main characteristics and conditions of children's philosophizing.

Abstract:
Context Biliary atresia is a progressive, idiopathic, fibro-obliterative disease of the extrahepatic biliary tree that presents with biliary obstruction exclusively in the neonatal period. Objectives To assess the differences regarding age at referral, age at surgery, duration of propaedeutics and waiting time for surgery between two groups of infants in different periods. Methods Retrospective study of infants diagnosed with biliary atresia on two periods: 1983-1993 and 1998-2011. Results Biliary atresia was diagnosed in 129 infants, being 48 in casuistic I and 81 in casuistic II. The median age at admission was 94 and 60 days, respectively (P = 0.0001). On evaluating patients who had undergone portoenterostomy before 120 days of age, no difference was observed regarding the duration of propaedeutics or waiting time for surgery (P = 0.15), but difference was found when comparing the age at surgery (P = 0.002). Among those infants with no biliary flow and without liver transplantation or death after 18 post-operative months, the estimated probability of survival was 44.6% and 38.7% in casuistics I and II, respectively. In casuistic I, all infants who showed biliary flow were alive during the observation period and, in casuistic II, 80.3% were alive after 7 years of follow-up. Conclusions Even though patients were admitted and treated earlier, it is clear that surgery could be done sooner. Delay in referral and timely propaedeutics were the main contributors.

The article concerns the 100th anniversary of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases at the NN Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University. There are several important stages in the formation of the department. The history of the development of the department of propaedeutics of internal diseases is inextricably linked with the formation of the Voronezh Medical University from the day of its foundation. During the last century, the department was headed by famous scientists-clinicians: Philosophov P.I., Kurshakov N.A., Gerke A.A., Ravich-Shcherbo V.A., and others. The national medicine owes to their work in the field of diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis diseases of the lungs and pleura, the clinical course of adhesive pericarditis. During the postwar periods, the department was headed by professors Tumanovsky M.N., Kobyzev A.S., Safonov Yu.D. Their contribution to the development of medical science is difficult to overestimate. The doctrine of Professor Safonov Yu.D. on the bio-hydraulic mechanism of origin of heart sounds found resonance all over the world. Since 1987 to the present time the department of propaedeutics of internal diseases is headed by Professor Nikitin A.V. known as the founder of a new scientific direction in the field of non-drug treatment methods for diseases of internal organs. For his scientific contribution, Anatoly Vladimirovich was awarded the USSR Council of Ministers Prize, and was given an Honorary title «Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation». Abstract:
Each age stage, including primary school age, is important for the formation of certain personal qualities that are significant for the successful choice of a future profession. The purpose of the study is to develop and justify systematic scientific and methodological foundations for organizing the process of preliminary career guidance of the early choice of a future profession that meets the modern requirements of the transition to a post-industrial economy. The research optics in the context of choosing a future profession is shifted to the world and space of primary school age, in contrast to the generally accepted stereotypes of conducting work on vocational guidance with high school students. The works of Russian and foreign scientists aimed at studying the goals, principles, content, forms and methods of career guidance with primary school children are analyzed. In the process of career-oriented propedeutics of primary school children, a specially designed pedagogical technology is proposed, which is based on the methods of problem-based learning, ensuring readiness for professional choice in the conditions of the future.

The article presents the issues related to the formation of primary school schoolchildren’s solo singing skills. The purpose of the article is to substantiate scientific approaches and principles, the implementation of which contributes to successful formation of primary school schoolchildren’s solo singing skills. These approaches ae bound to the ideas of humanistic, structural-systemic, anthropological approaches. The principles of their implementation have been grounded ‒ the creation of a psychologically comfortable environment; individual-personal planning of the vocal-forming process; monitoring of the process and results of the classes aimed at mastering junior schoolchildren’s solo vocal skills; artistic and communicative orientation of the vocal and educational process; stimulation of primary schoolchildren’s creative activity in musical and playing forms alongside with the solution of their artistic and performing tasks. Some typical mistakes demonstrated by starting teachers have been analysed, which inhibit the process aimed at the formation of primary schoolchildren’s solo singing skills and their manifestation at three levels: interpretative-communicative, performing-artistic, forming-technological. The importance of mastering propaedeutic competence by university teachers has been substantiated as a way to anticipate professional mistakes typical for teachers-beginners. Thus, this article sought to discuss the following epistemological aspects, namely: professional education and environmental education: conceptions and interrelationships; applicability of the textbook as teaching material in English language teaching contextualized in English language classes in the High school Technical Course in Environment. This academic-scientific study in terms of objective is characterized as basic research with a qualitative approach and consists of a systematic literature review. From this scientific-research, the importance of the need to integrate content and didactic materials that articulate professional training and propaedeutic training was evidenced, and that enables the student to develop creative skills of reflection and perception to be incorporated in their citizenship training and socio-environmental responsibility. It was also observed the need to build a teaching practice that addresses the theme of the environment, considering the inseparability between education and social practice to face issues related to socio-environmental issues. The aim of this study is to awaken the critical view of the professors to teaching intertwined between the disciplines, propaedeutics, English and techniques of the Environmental Technical Course.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the study that touched upon the actual problem of the system of professional legal education – the degree of specialist’s compliance with the requirements of the labor market as well as the improvement of the quality of their practical training. The aim of the study is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of practiceoriented technologies in the educational process of the college in order to successfully adapt future lawyers in professional activities. The main method of research is a pedagogical experiment, the purpose of which is approbation of the developed author’s methodology. Also, the study used methods of analysis and generalization, questioning, testing, pedagogical observation and methods of mathematical statistics. The presented practice-oriented technologies are aimed at mastering students’ professional competencies and provide for the gradual passage of three modules by the student: goal-setting of didactic cycles, selection of optimal means taking into account peculiarities of the training stage, implementation of educational activity characterized by integration of project and problem-based technologies while observing conditions of differentiated training. According to the results obtained during the implementation of the pedagogical experiment, the introduction of practice-oriented technologies in the educational process of training college students of future lawyers, providing for the gradual development of knowledge and skills, allowed to form the basic professional competencies of students at a reliable level. Thus, the use of activity and interactive methods in the learning process, the introduction of simulation modeling and design, as well as technology for solving situational tasks can be considered as an effective tool for shaping students’ professional-oriented skills and abilities.

Abstract:
The perception of an interior building’s space is possible only if it is illuminated with daylight or artificial light. Despite this important fact, many architects pay much more attention to working with traditional building materials, without using the expressive possibilities of daylight as an independent primary material. This paper reveals the role of daylight in the design process, outlines the methodological foundations for designing the luminous space environment of buildings. There are two stages that reveal the method of teaching architectural design, considering light as the main means and material of the architect: developmental exercises (propaedeutics) and designing architectural objects. Each of the stages is illustrated with examples of experimental search work of students.
