Abstract:
The Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) had been an interesting and attractive topic for scholars and researchers from the beginning of this chapter and is still, as was in previous times. It is considered the authentic history of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) which reached to us and the reason for its authenticity is that Qur’an has described a number of events of the Prophet’s life in detail. Moreover, the authenticity of this piece of history is that it has been saved and protected by the companions of Prophets and transferred to the next generations, which is preserved in the form of Hadith. The Islamic scholars and historians have described and discussed the life of Prophet (S.A.W) while using different approaches. We have a number of Seerah Books in which the life of the prophet has been described comprehensively in detail. In this study the researchers have used the book "Al Seerah al Nabwiah fi zo al Masadar al Asliah Darast al Tahliaha" and have discussed the approach and methodology of the Mahdi Rizqullah Ahmad in the book. Allah sent his prophets for the guidance of the Human beings. Prophet Muḥammad (SAW) was the last of them. Humankind has been granted a special status due to its being vicegerent of Allah on earth for he has been entrusted with the responsibility to keep order in the world according to the directives of its Creator. Humans are guided by Prophets in history. Some of these Prophets have got greater value, sphere and depth of influence on humanity due to different factors. Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the last Prophet of Allah, for the eternity and whole humanity. After him, Islam is completed for all times to come. Islam is a complete code of life; education and training constituting its crux. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was greatly concerned and cognizant of education and training of his followers which is evident from multifarious events of his life. Major emphasis was laid on training coupled with education and both are, thus, inevitably interlocked with each other. It is clear that education was considered an assimilation of knowledge and training was taken as its reflection in daily life. The verses of the Holy Quran and sayings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) bear a perfect testimony to this aspect of foremost significance. The earlier people in the fold of Islam were much concerned about training and nurturing, hence they avoided mere memorization of facts. The present paper is an attempt to discover the compatibility between education and training in the light of the paradigm of secret of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) of Islam.

Morality is that human character which becomes his second nature. Moral training of individuals is much more necessary for social reforms. According the scholar of ethics: “ethic is a name of that strong quality of inner, in presence of which performance of actions without any compulsion easily to be appeared”. Such morality can be viewed in the character of prophet of humanity. From individual to collective, all levels tell us prophetic ethics are on specific high point. Particularly maintaining ethical values in war condition is a high point of humanism. There are well settled examples of prophet of humanity, Muhammad, even for war conditions that drinking water would not be poisoned, Trees would not be cut, women and children would not be beaten and prophet of mercy espec-ially instructed for forgiveness. Now a days when extremism and intolerance is prevailing at all levels, methods of prophetic ethics has a contemporary mean-ings. In this context study of Seerah of Holy Prophet has an immense importance for enlightening for our life and characters.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) being the last the final Prophet, was sent as a source of absolute kindness and mercy to the whole of humanity. His life after prophet hood is divided into two phases i.e. Makki and Madani. The former is mainly concerned with preaching of monotheism while the latter was the busiest phase of his life having crucial importance in framing an absolute example for his followers till the last day. Madani phase is consisted upon ten years, in which the Prophet (PBUH) performed multiple duties of preaching, negotiation, reformation, defense, education, instruction, reconciliation, leader-ship and Heading a state. The holy Prophet (PBUH) established the first Islamic state in Madinah in which he acted dual role of heading the state as well as the Government, simultaneously. In the current paper, the anatomy and characteristics of the first Islamic state will be elaborated in order to give an insight for adorning the present system with its qualities for providing a perfect model of an Islamic welfare state.

Islam considers freedom of expression, speech and thought as an imperative human right and liberty. Primary Islamic sources, as the Holy Quran, Hadith and Seerah of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Islamic jurisprudence discuss its principles parameters and boundaries comprehensively. There are many verses of the Quran, ?h?d?th of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and many terms of Islamic Fiqh, which guide us to describe the freedom of expression, its meanings, significance, principles and limits. Islamic scholars of different fields define the freedom of expression in different ways. It’s also observed during exploration in Islamic and Western perspectives, there is no specific and agreed upon definition of freedom of expression. Some scholars try to define it according to their own interest and requirement, but they can’t make an agreement on its definition. So, there is found a variety of definitions of freedom of expression in academic discourse. Different Islamic scholars mention different definitions due to its being a modern term. In this study efforts are made to elaborate Islamic concept of freedom of expression, thought and speech in modern context. It’s concluded, the Islamic teachings give all kind of freedom and rights to human being but their limits and boundaries are different from Western thought.

Abstract:
The incident of Gharānīq is one of the most debated topics in the biography of the Holy Prophet, and there is a difference of opinion among the commentators as to its validity. The first narrators of this incident are Ibn Sa'ad and Allāma Ibn e Jarīr Tabrī. Later, many commentators of the Holy Qur’ān and biographers of the Holy Prophet narrated this incident. A group of scholars, while acknowledging the reality of the incident, have offered justifications in this regard. The justification adopted by the majority of earlier and modern scholars is that the praising words for gods were uttered by the devil and not by the Holy Prophet, but the Orientalists have tried to prove that Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) tried to get close to the polytheists of Makkah. In this article, it will be discussed that the majority of scholars have termed this incident as fabricated on the basis of rational and traditional evidence. Many contemporary biographers, such as Allāma Shiblī Naumanī, Muhammad Hussaīn Hekal and Dr. Muhammad Hamidullāh, have given reasoned answers to the objections of Orientalists regarding this incident. This incident contradicts the basic teachings of Islam and the infallibility of prophethood.

The recent developments observed in the world are owed to the efforts of human capacities and capabilities. Zeal, flair and enthusiasm of work people keep the pace of development in steady mode. However, over a period of time, human motivation to work starts decreasing. In the western world studies have been carried out to find out factors which affect human motivation to devise strategies to enhance work motivation among individuals. It has been observed that determinants of motivation are cultural specific. Moreover it is associated with the world view of human being. Islam is distinguished religion from other religions of the world and forms its own culture. Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in his life time prepared a group of individuals who changed the socio-political scene of this world in few years. Their motivation level was un-parallel to anyone else. The current study explores methodologies of motivation used by the Prophet (SAW) to stimulate his companions. The originality and value of this study can be seen in the sense that it will provide basis for the formulation of motivational framework based on Islamic teachings. As a conclusion, team of researchers comprising of educationists, social scientists, and Islamic scholars must work together to find out framework of motivation in the present day environment.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has practically guided the Muslims in all spheres of life including faith, jurisprudence, economics, politics and social circles. Muslims’ ruled the world as long as they followed the Prophet and the Islamic teachings. As soon as they started ignoring the rules of Shari’ah, they fell into a political failure and economic deprivation. Leadership is such an important aspect in which lies the secret of national, political and social development. Leadership is given such importance in Islam that Prophet (SAW) has given special instructions about the eligibility to be the leader of Muslim society. According to Islamic Jurisprudence and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW), leadership can only be given to the eligible and efficient figures. If authority and control is given to some ineligible or incapable people, it is not only unsuitable but a cruelty. Muslim Ummah in general and the public of Pakistan in particular had never so intensely desired for a noble leadership possessing high qualities as they need it today. Pakistani nation has reached the verge of chaos and destruction which is leading to fatal and horrible consequences. The ideology of standard and capability has clearly been interpreted in Qur’an and Sunnah. This is further supported by the practices of the Muslims in the past. This research has focused on gathering the data about ideology of standard and eligibility for the selection/election of individuals according to the Seerah of the Prophet (SAW).

Naat is the versified poetry in honour of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH). From his famous companion Hassaan Bin Sabit till now every Muslim poet desires to write some verses in his honour. So Dr. Nazar Abid tried this. He compiled Berg-e-Naat. Dr. Nazr Abid has so far made Urdu ghazal a major source of his poetic expression, but now he is fortunate to be attracted to Urdu Naat as well. At the same time, it is a source of expression for various aspects of the Seerah. His collection of Natiya poetry. Berg-E-Naat was published in February 2022. Abstract:
Application of Historical Thinking Skills (TKPS) is needed in the field of history to make its teaching and learning process effective and meaningful. This raised a question whether Islamic Education teachers, who are untrained in historical discipline, are able to apply the five components of Historical Thinking Skills (KPS) when teaching Seerah Nabi (Biography of Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H)). The purpose of this research to determine the number of dimensions for the items and build an evaluation model to measure the effects of the relationship between KPS, TPACK and TKPS in this area of study. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using IBM-SPSS AMOS Graphic software was employed for this purpose. The population for this research consisted of Islamic Education teachers who teach Upper Secondary Islamic Education subject in Kelantan, Malaysia. From the results of EFA and CFA analyses, 6 items have been deleted from the KPS construct leaving only 12 items at the end of the study. Similar results were also found for the Application of Historical Thinking Skills construct (TKPS) where items which were originally 13 were reduced to 10. For the TPACK component, as a result of the CFA analysis, the Technological sub-component was removed from the TPACK component due to the low factor loading (0.39). Based on the result of the EFA and CFA analyses, only 35 items with three main constructs (KPS, TKPS and TPACK) and two sub-constructs (Pedagogy and Content) were considered for SEM analysis.This study has successfully developed an evaluation model (SEM) to measure the effect of Historical Thinking Skills (KPS) and Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge Skills (TPACK) on the application of KPS by Islamic Education teachers. Findings of the study found that the relationship of KPS effects on the application of KPS is significant with the regression coefficient value of 0.80. This proves that the teaching and learning process (PdPC) is dependent on the level of mastery of teachers in the KPS component. KPS component also has a significant effect on TPACK with a regression coefficient of 0.81. This means TPACK skills during the teaching and learning process (PdPC) were dependent on the level of mastery of teachers in the KPS component and TPACK Construct as a mediator for the relationship between KPS and TKPS.

Syed Suleiman Nadvi is one of the most famous and prominent writer and Religious scholars of Sub-Continent. He has written a number of books in different languages i.e., Arabic, Urdu. This article narrates the literary services of Syed Suleiman Nadvi about the Seerat-al-Nabi. One of his renowned writing is ‘Seerat-al-Nabi’. He, through his writings and lectures has demonstrated his love for Holy Prophet. Basically, Seerat-al-Nabi is one of his prominent book which is a complete biography of Holy Prophet and is considered authentic source of Seerat studies. It has seven parts. First two parts have been written by Allama Shibli Nomani while the other five parts are written by Syed Suleiman Nadvi. This book provides comprehensive details about the life of holy Prophet (SAW) and it has been translated in different languages. He also delivered eight lectures about Seerat-al-Nabi which are available in the book form named; Khutbaat-e-Madras. To aware and inspire the children about the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) he wrote a book Rahmat-e-Alam. In these writings he presented whole life span of the Holy Prophet in a brilliant and comprehensive manner.

Indonesian Islam has gone through a long journey in its history since the first advent up to the present day. In this course, one should note that the process of Islamization was formed under a set of historical and cultural complexity. Among those, the role of Islamic preaching is the most important. Under this canopy, the process of transmission and transformation took the first place as the main force. As the Qur’an and Sunna are the major sources for all Muslims around the world. Both had also become the main streams in Islamicization. Seerat-e-nabi, beside the Qur’an, in this case has a place of honor. It became one of the major sources of all Islamic heritages in Indonesia. The prophet Muhammad PBUH (peace be upon him) was immersed within the Indonesian Islamic traditions in various fields and spheres. It is fair to say that the story of the islamicization of the Indonesian archipelago and the face of Indonesian Islam today is culturally formed by the determination of seerat-e-nabi, besides the Qur’anic scripture. In the other words, the birth and the face of Islam really depend on how its adherents interpret and take a cultural reception on the seerat-e-nabi. This paper tries to capture the prophetic heritage in Indonesian Islam in twofold analysis; transmission and transformation. The former tries to explore how the heritage of seerat-e-nabi flowed into the scene of Indonesian moslem life through various modes of transmission up to the present day. The latter aims at how the seerat-e-nabi became the force and inspiration for the various receptions of institutional matters.

The Irhaasaat & Mubashirat signs of prophecy are those extraordinary and surprising events that have appeared before the birth of the Holy Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) until the time of prophethood. The main purpose of those signs was to indicate the birth of Holy Prophet(صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم).Those "Irhaasaat" are the predictions of the priests or monks of 'Ahl e kitaab,the events happened in Arab like the incident of As’haab e feel those happened with Prophet Muhammad(صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم),and the dreams of Holy Prophet(صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم).These events are described circumstantially in the books of 'Seerat' and history. Every biographer discusses and explains merits of those events in his own style and reference to the context. For example, out of the three books under study, Al-Rawd Ul-Unf gives a brief description of the text, different narrations, interpretation of difficult words and explanation of ambiguity.Ibn Hisham discusses the previous topic in detail to explain the new event to make it semantically understandable.Imam Zahabi cares most about the authenticity of the "rivayah",briefly discusses the incidents and only gives importance to the events related directly to Holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم).Since Allama Suyuti adopted the style of describing miracles and signs of Prophethood in Al-Khasais Ul-Kubra,so we can easily find the Irhaasaat of life of Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and events before his birth related to the context of our subject

Hafiz Ibne Kathir (R.A….) was a scholar of the 8th century of Hijra. He had command over many sciences of the Islamic studies, like:Quran, Hadith, fiqh, Seerat and history. He was a prolific writer and left a number of books which are used in the Islamic world as reference books. He wrote an exegsis of the Holy Quran and named it; Tafseer-ul-Quran el Azeem (commonly known as Tafseer Ibne Kathir) One of his books; Al-Fusul Fi Ekhtisare Seerat Al-Rasool is one of his book about the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The book is spread over four hundred pages. The writer divided it into two sections. The first part contains discussions on the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and the battles which he fought for the sake of Islam commonly known as Maghazi. The second part contains discussion on the lifestyle, habits and the reasons of the Prophethood. The unique style of Ibne Kathir, in this book is that the writer extracts jurisprudential aspect from the life of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The writer explains all these with the help of the Holy Quran and the authentic sources of Seerat. The writer has tried his level best to bring only authentic narrations. If the views of scholars are different about the date and location of any event, Ibne kathir himself do research and tried to prove certain facts in the light of logic. And many scholars admit his logic follow it. A few of the narrations coated by Ibne kathir are weak in a sense but they are very short in counting. Because of this style, many scholars have coated Ibne kathir in the field of Seerat. This research paper discusses the unique and scholarly style of Ibne kathir and also discusses the methodology of Ibne kathir adopted by him in his book.

We get guidance regarding attitude, behavior, women rights, social, economic, political affairs of a state and it is extended to the defense system and foreign policy of the state. Hence, we can say that the prophetic insight, his foresight and understanding is exemplary not only for the Muslim world but also for the world of humanity. The 19th century has great significance in western society because the trend of Seerah Writing became very favored whereas ideological span remained present between Islam and the West. It is obvious that every religious community showed keen interest in“The personality of Prophet Muhammad(SAW)” in every age. Orientalists are also accustomed to studying the Muslim divine literature. In the beginning of the 17th century, Orientalist Movement worked on a new scholastic strategy through the transmutation and exegesis of Islamic Literature. Their "Empirical Method of research", "Logicalness" and Scientific Experimental way of Analysis have generated doubts and reservations in all Islamic literature, especially in Seerah literature. A prolonged series of "Dante (1265-1321)", "Roger of Wendover (date of death 1236)", "Matthew Paris (1200-1259)", "Martin Luther (1483-1546)", "Ramond Lull (1232-1315)", "Simon Oakley (1678-1720)" has been lasting till the present age. And the Seerah Writing of William Muir (1819-1905), Mont Gomery Watt (1909-2006), Karen Armstrong (date of birth 1944), and Michael Cook (date of birth 1940) also emerged with new phraseology having much influence on a modern man about Seerah literature. In the 19th, century, the western trend of “Seerah writing”has been completely changed. Research methodology and Civilized manners in writing have been noted by the western scholar. As well as concealment of historical truth and distortion the historical events also became the cause of hatred between Islam and the West. There is a great need to reckon with the western Seerah writings in the present age. The question is how to bring actual and auspicious teachings of the "Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)" before the world and how it will be helpful to abolish abhorrence about Islam and The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)?

Sheikh Zakriya al Ansari, Shamsuddin Sakhavi and al Burhan bin abi Sharif were amongst his renowned teachers. He was blessed twice to have pilgrimage in 887 and 894 a.h. respectively. He was extremely inclined towards an ascetic way of life. He had also a strong spiritual veneration and allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. He died on 8 Muharram 923 a.h. His writings on the Quran, Hadith, Tafseer, Seerah writings and mysticism are really an invaluable additions to these disciplines and due to such contribution he was a towering personality of his times.

They have provided such a vast asset of knowledge on Islam that it is now inevitable for anyone who writes on Seerah and Islam. Their scholarly endeavors have generally been appreciated, but there has been a perception in Islamic circle that they did not use scientific honesty, impartiality and broad-mindedness in presenting Prophet's (peace be upon him) biography and Islam, but with misrepresentation and prejudice. They have deliberately distorted the events and made a concerted effort to distort the history of Islam. orientalists have written countless books on Islam not only in English but also in other languages, so all those who cannot directly benefit from the writings of Arabic or Muslims in general will read their books and understand the same in the world. What they want to tell and explain about Islam will not give them a true picture of Islam. Besides, future generation who see Islam through the eyes of these orientalists will also remain skeptical of Islam. Belief in the end of prophethood is the basic belief of Muslims. False prophets have been attacking this belief since the demise of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani claimed prophethood in the subcontinent but the scholars declared it to be constitutionally false by practical and academically arguments. They are constantly working to promote and harm the Muslims. Now these Qadiani and anti-Islamic forces have re-established themselves and are targeting the younger generation. It is very important to understand these contemporary challenges, to make the new generation aware of this tribulation and to connect them with the Qur'an, Sunnah and Seerat-e- Mubarkah.

Abstract:
The Seera’h of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is considered to be a complete code of life. Right from the outset the Muslim scholars deeply pondered over the life history of the holy prophet (SAW) in order to infer juridical instructions which they called Fiqh al Seera’h. For instance, Ibn e Kathir, a prominent scholar of the eight centrury describes different events in the life of the Holy prophet in his book “Al-Bidaya wa Nihaya’h” highlights solutions to different issues through the lessons learnt from the farewell sermon of the holy prophet (SAW) during his last pilgrimage. The farewell sermon of the Holy prophet (SAW) is a guiding principle for the whole humanity if acted upon even today. This study elaborates on the juridical instructions as received from this Farwell speech of the holy prophet (SAW.

Abstract:
The prophet of Islam, Muhammad (SAW) has been introduced by Allah, the Creator of this universe, as the “Mercy for the whole universe”. The holy Prophet (SAW) lived his entire life as a testimony to this grand compliment from Allah Almighty. His extraordinary compassion towards his followers, all other human beings is acknowledged to be worth copying and there has been no denial of the claim yet. He was an epitome of love, mercy, compassion and tolerance. He not only practiced these virtues himself, but also inculcated them in his companions, advised his followers i.e. all Muslims to practice and preach them to entire humanity at large. He forgave his worst enemies and tormentors when he subdued them, either individually, or collectively. His historic declaration of universal pardon on the conquest of Makkah has no parallel in history. His life history and teachings are replete with examples of extreme compassion and mercy. This paper is an attempt to bring home this point by presenting the evidences to support this claim.
