Abstract:

This study examined the taxonomy, spatial and seasonal occurrences of the Orders Dinophysiales and Prorocentrales in the Atlantic Ocean, from the Bight of Benin to the Bight of Bonny in Gulf of Guinea Nigeria. We investigated the impact of industrial effluents on phytoplankton assemblage in southern Tunisia (Skhira). We specifically addressed changes in microalgae composition caused by this anthropogenic interference. A hierarchical sampling design was used to compare planktonic microalgae structure between one disturbed station and one control station. Prorocentrum comprises a diverse group of bloom-forming dinophytes with a worldwide distribution. Although photosynthetic, mixoplanktonic phagotrophy has also been described. Prorocentrum comprises dinophytes with several unique traits, including the presence of two large thecal plates and apical insertion of flagella. Abstract:

Проведена оценка динамики численности, внешнего вида клеток, флуоресценции хлоропласта и зеленой автофлуоресценции клеток (ЗАФ) динофлагелляты Prorocentrum foraminosum при воздействии тяжелых металлов: кадмия Cd2+, никеля Ni2+ и свинца Pb2+ в концентрациях 10 и 20 мкг/л. Показано, что все металлы в изученных концентрациях оказали ингибирующее влияние на численность клеток: наименьшее воздействие оказал Cd2+. Морфологически клетки не изменялись при воздействии Cd2+, Pb2+, а при добавлении Ni2+ отмечена деформация клеток. Флуоресценция хлоропласта изменялась при воздействии металлов, за исключен

AbstractDuring evolution of Dinophyceae, size reduction of the episome has occurred in several lineages (including unarmoured Amphidiniales and armoured Prorocentrales). One such species is Amphidinium crassum, whose taxonomic identity is elusive though showing morphological similarities with Oxytoxaceae (currently placed in armoured Peridiniales).
