Abstract:
Cet article propose une observation du lieu commun de la littérature que représente la figure du « fou écrivant ». Il s’agit de repérer les lignes caractérielles de ce topos et, plus sûrement, de voir comment le scripteur, dans la fiction, se sert de l’écriture pour confronter le réel. Une lecture de trois œuvres, Palais à volonté (2014) de Mika Biermann, Provincetown Playhouse, juillet 1919, j’avais 19 ans (1981) de Normand Chaurette et Pseudo (1976) d’Émile Ajar (Romain Gary), permet d’interroger l’écriture du fou dans ses différents usages, mais notamment en tant qu’ultime acte de lucidité et moyen de résistance.
