Abstract:
Biological hazards can be defined as substances that endanger the life of any living organism, most notably humans, and are often referred to as biohazards. Along with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), early detection of contact is essential for the correct management and resolution of a biological threat, as well as lower mortality rates of those exposed. Herein, Prussian blue (PB) was evaluated as a functional compound applied on polyester knits to act as an on-site sensor for bacteria detection. In order to study the best compound concentration for the intended application, po

Abstract:
Adequate animal nutrition is one of the vital prerequisites to enhance the productivity and performance of ruminants in terms of milk and meat production. Fodders preserved as silage have the potential to supply animal feed even during months of scorching heat of sun. Silage is preserved fodder produced in an anaerobic condition by the fermentation process in specialized air tight structures called silos. Properly prepared silage usually has equivalent or even higher nutritional value of the original fodder. Forage sorghum has been found to be excellent choice for silage making as it gives a c

Abstract:
This study is a unique report of the utilization of Trichoderma strains collected from even tree barks for rice plant growth, its health management, and paddy straw degradation. Seven different spp. of Trichoderma were characterized according to morphological and molecular tools. Two of the isolated strains, namely Trichoderma hebeiensis and Trichoderma erinaceum, outperformed the other strains. Both of the strains controlled four important rice pathogens, i.e., Rhizoctonia solani (100%), Sclerotium oryzae (84.17%), Sclerotium rolfsii (66.67%), and Sclerotium delphinii (76.25%). Abstract:
Livestock nutrition is crucial for sustaining the health and productivity of farm animals, which are a cornerstone of the global food supply. Proper nutrition ensures that animals receive the necessary nutrients for essential bodily functions, growth, reproduction and lactation. Tailored, balanced diets that cater to the specific nutritional needs of different livestock species and their developmental stages also boost reproductive performance, leading to higher birth rates and healthier offspring. Conversely, inadequate nutrition can lead to stunted growth, diminished productivity, and increa
