Full textTaking support on the psychocriticism, this study highlights the unconscious sense of the Henri Lopes' literature. This analyse is structured around three parts. The first part is devoted to the study of the narrative instances. The second part relates to the other actors of the story. It comes out from this textual analysis and exacerbated narcissism, a xexual inversion of the physical and psychological features, and an identity building faintness caracteristics of preoedipus stage. The refuge in the imaginary one and the maternal bosom constitutes a palliative against psychological faintnesses. In fact, face to social traumatisms, the characters resort to a regression at the infantile stage. The obsessional recurrence, under various disguises, of these structures shows the nondesired character well. They confirm a worless discourse, the uncounscious one, which expresses without the author knowing. Actually, these structures present the Lopes' literary work like his unconscious expression. Finally, we compare the textual analysis of previous parts to the author's biography. This part brings to light the real reasons that motivate the presence of unconscious elements. The siociopolitical disruption of the native place and the family environment seem to be the factors that have given information to the ego of the author and promote his leterary vocation, political engagements and professional carrer

Full textThe sociocultural context proves to be a major element in the identital approach of the francophone writings of JP, of RD and AB. Our own approach has tried to follow a synchronic dialectic one through various fictional episodes which constitute the field of research of our study. In the latter, the intercultural element is reconsidered as a concept leading to the rediscovery of the motif of otherness as a clear-cut distinction coming from a sense of belonging which, in turn, guides the writer's behaviour in a way which is different from what the notion of transculturalism usually implies. This idea of transculturalism supports the idea of universality and of multi-ethnic social cohesion by putting forward a polymorphic version of cultural influences which determines the features of individuals within the same society. It is also meant to point out the negative aspect of globalization as an assimilation process within this transcultural pattern which is part and parcel of the literary work.We have specifically laid the stress on the writers' narrative characteristics in order to enhance the recurring themes closely linked to the idea of identity. As a result, the internal dialogue shows a fictional swing between two determining human conditions: disenchantment and passion resulting from an obvious contemporary reality. As a follow-up to our thematic study and more specifically to our analytical one, we have chosen to end our work based on a francophone cultural and identital comparison with a psychoanalytic interpretation of the novels which are part of the corpus

Full textHow do sibling relationships influence the literary creation, particularly in case of mixed genders ? The first part of this study examines this question from a theoritical point of view. After giving a synthetic overview of sibling relationships in the light of social sciences, articulated around the characteristic notion of sharing, we propose their modelling in the form of typologies inspired by the psychosociologist Eric Widmer. Next, we expound the stakes and foundations of our “psychosocio-critical” method (a cross-analysis of biography and works), which results by hypothesis in a typology of the conditioning sisters for their writing brothers. The second part is devoted to the study of four German authors, Goethe, Kleist, Brentano and Nietzsche, whose sisters proved to be, in an archetypal or unnoticed way until now, muse, support, consultant or administrator (indeed even anti-muse and anti-support) for the genesis and the reception of their works
Pereira, Iooss Filomena Paula. "L'écho du silence et les réticences de l'écriture dans l'œuvre en prose de Maria Ondina Braga : approche psychocritique." Thesis, Paris 4, 2008. http://www.theses.fr/2008PA040053/document.
Full textSilence becomes material in Maria Ondina Braga's work, transforms it into an object to her use or even in her own image. Writer of absence, death and that egnigmatic "other ecstasy", her texts are shaped by an oriental exotism which adds mystery and a sense of decency to this language of the ineffable that characterizes them. The wording of the emotional silence, the reticences of her writing, permanently located on the edge between the said and the unsaid, the secrecy surrounding her characters enable to define Maria Ondina Braga as a writer of "intimacy". In this study, we mainly wonder about the incoming of silence in the work of the writer, born in 1922 in nothern Portugal. The circumstances in which she "wakes up first to things and beings" and her childhood drama led her to silence as a sensitive refuge as well as a self traumatic ravishing. Her real-life trips result from a desperate quest of her self heterogeneous limits. They provide support to her virtual escapes. A writing of silence takes place and this is analyzed in a second part. Depression underlined by her erotic silence, signature of the writer, turns into a kind of a narcissistic organisation of her characteristic "unbeing". That depression revives the writing : the echo of silence endlessly tells the impossible mourning and how absence becomes a physical invader. In her work such as in her life, silence really is that "being in the world" specific to the writer and an absolute prerequisite to her survival

Full textThis theses, 1400 pages, runs about Georges Soulès alias Raymond Abellio. It presents the first academic biographical study. It is written from a psycho biographical or psycho critical viewpoint and uses historical, literature and philosophical tools in order to analyse in depth details the life and the Abellio’s various writings. Its approach tries to explain the inner-outer, fictive-real dialectic in the double life of the author. Between history and literature, this thesis develops a philosophical path: the building of a modern Gnostic. Besides, this works presents a wide range of sources and unpublished documents, especially in regard to the French Collaboration period and to the main influence of Rudolph Steiner on Abellio

Full textIn the heart of the aesthetic transformations of African literature of French expression, a special form of writing that breaks with the dull and linear narrative of the writers of the post-colonial period appears. Also, this new way of writing gives way to a new generation of francophone writers who offers readers a more raw, more sensual, more sexual literature. It is now intended to criticize social mores through the description of various characters from novels which are prey to the complexity of their intimate world. This new form of writing has enrolled us in a current literary trend that allows to introduce the universal character in the intimacy. In fact, the peculiarity of our thesis lies in its ability to lead the reader to perceive the link that may exist between the writing of the body and the quest for identity in contemporary literature of francophone Africa. This would be possible through the analysis of psychological critics of some literary works such as those of the Franco-Togolese writer Sami TCHAK. This research leads the reader to wonder how the writing of the body, through that of sexuality, can convey a literary discourse capable of allowing the writer to have a better understanding of himself. This aesthetic choice of transgression seems to actually be a pretext for the stylistic reconfiguration of contemporary African literature thanks to this new generation of writers
Koumba, Brice. "Du bonheur dans sa relation au crime. Approche ethico-poetique du texte sadien." Thesis, Nancy 2, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010NAN21020.
Full textIn Sade's text, why is there crime rather than anything else? Probably because the verb to write is always already bound to the verb to kill, not contingently but essentially. The text tells of Nature in another way, and crime is nature's mode of existence: mechanical movement whose goal is always destruction. As an expression of nature, crime is perceived as what best expresses Man's heart, but more than that ... the human condition. Crime is the dramatization of the human condition, a condition marked by penance. Everywhere, simply by virtue of his existence, man is experiencing pain and suffering. His condition is tragic indeed; crime is fatal to him. Fatal because, in fine, crime appears as the only reality of existence. Living is necessarily experiencing crime. Misfortune drives people to crime. However, resisting crime makes it impossible to reach bliss. This is why, pragmatically, happiness implies the advent of the criminal, a man who has become nature, a man who has become pure unadulterated bestiality
Reea, Goenda. "Le comique dans la tradition orale et la littérature contemporaine tahitiennes - vision du rire, vision du monde." Thesis, Polynésie française, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016POLF0005.
Full textIn Tahiti, no research has been done about “comic words” in Tahitian language, demonstrating a way to consider the world. The relevance of this study is to reveal a reality in an internal point of view as well as unconscious processes which govern the laughter of and in the Tahitian society. The purpose of the present Thesis is to define the characteristics of Comic in the Tahitian oral tradition and contemporary literature, through the 'ūtē 'ārearea (traditional funny songs), in the context of July’s cultural celebrations in Tahiti, from 1986 to 2014, and through two plays, "Te pe'ape'a hau 'ore o Pāpā Pēnū 'e o Māmā Rōrō" by Maco Tevane (1972, played again in 2011) and “E'ita ïa” by John Mairai (1989). Placing this analysis into a conceptual and methodological as well as a semiolinguistical and psychocritical frameworks, makes us suppose that it is possible to abstract, by the superposition of the texts from the corpus of research, a substratum made of invariables, which contribute to the meaning of words

Full textThe present essay aims at casting a multi-focused light upon contemporary Spanish leonese author Elena Santiago whose literary work has so far hardly been investigated by criticism area. We examined most of narrative and poetic trajectories through a multi-modal approach together thematic, narratologic, imaginary and psychocritic. We scanned her weighty silences, her analogical nexus, her imaginary chiaroscuros and stylistic idiosyncrasy encased in her thoroughty personal universe. We disclosed the absolutely existential dimension and the ontological essence of an art which exposes childhood and its world both idealized and demystified according to the initiatic itineraries taken. We were aware of the memory beats, the dreamlike tone and the eventual localism of a prose which allows in its extremely discursive eleboration an immanent logic, a pre-formal resorting to counter-languages to be meaningful. As the place of a dis-aster and mourning cosmology, of a formal dispersion measuring up to subject's narcissistic wound, the scriptural space narrativises itself and modulates a regressive phantasm. In the intimate intertextuality of corpus, in the scriptural subject's mirror of ink, in the dyadic pulse of writing, we applied ourself to defining the maternal outlines of a personal myth, of a quest for the perpetually present Absentee
Saket, Walid. "Le concept de "personnage poétique" dans Les Fleurs du Mal et Le Spleen de Paris de Charles Baudelaire : Fonctions et significations." Thesis, Clermont-Ferrand 2, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014CLF20015/document.
Full textThe objectives of the present work are attempting to define the concept of'' poetic character” in'' Les Fleurs du Mal” and” Le Spleen de Paris” as well as trying to deduce the functions and meanings implied in that concept. A process of conceptualization will be our first part .This part will rely on existing critics on this subject to finally give the appropriate statutes to creatures inhabiting these two works. We suggested to study through specific examples the way the works of Baudelaire treat this concept particularly when it comes to moving from free verse poem to prose poem. Thus, adjacent concepts have emerged in the course of our analysis such as the notion of mythical or allegorical figure. Talking about '' poetic character “is so delicate especially in this generic difference that imposes binding shades of meaning. But the fact is that we were able to grant the status of characters to many creatures whether in ‘Les Fleurs du Mal ‘or in ‘Spleen de Paris’. In fact, they can be defined according to the criteria usually reserved to character i.e., do, say, the psychological dimension… However, this status is not that evident when we notice that in these two works the same creature could sometimes jointly be treated as character and figure. Once this work was done, our task was to study the functions of these'' characters'' and '' figures'' in the context of the overall aesthetics of Baudelaire. Consequently, we could see a process of duplication and dialogism between the poet and his creatures. Tackled as his doubles; these creatures embody the poet’s claims and his avant-gardist aesthetic convictions
Zarzouli, Despoina. "Les enjeux de la "nouvelle critique" dans la critique racinienne." Thesis, Sorbonne Paris Cité, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015PA030011.
Full textThe nineteenth and twentieth centuries are characterized as centuries of literary criticism. The primary objective of this thesis will focus on the methodology used by “New Criticism” in relation to the work of Jean Racine. The New Criticism was a formalist movement, popular in the sixties, which focuses on objectively evaluating the underlying structure and text from literary work.Representatives of ‘‘New Criticism”, such as, Lucien Goldmann, Charles Mauron and Roland Barthes utilized structure methods to interpret Racine's literary works. The Sociological criticism of Goldmann, the Psychoanalytic criticism of Mauron, and the Structuralism of Barthes offer several areas of consideration. The aim of this study is to present the methods proposed by “New Criticism”, to reveal the essence of its theories, to assess their value by demonstrating the reason of their importance, and to understand controversy sparked around this formalist movement. So, identifying the “challenges of the ‘’New Criticism” in Racine’s criticism’’ by examining the criticisms made by other critics is the purpose of this work
