Abstract:
The article considers one of the directions of psychological practice — diagnostics. Specific features of the realization of psychodiagnostics in the educational environment are described. The historical context of the development of psychodiagnostics in education is being studied. The urgency of the research of this area of psychological work, dictated by the need, on the one hand, in assessing the quality of educational services, on the other — searching and stimulating the intrapersonal resources of trainees, is substantiated. In this connection, there is a need to develop theoretical, methodological and conceptual approaches to the implementation of psychodiagnostic activity in education. The substantive and procedural aspects of psychodiagnostic activity in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are concretized. The advantages of the hardware-software psychodiagnostic complex "Multiplexer", used by psychologists of law enforcement bodies, are highlighted. The program of psychodiagnostics of personal and business qualities of cadets, designed for each year of training, is described. A personal profile of the future specialist is designed, which reflects the results of psychological support and diagnostics throughout the entire period of study.

Abstract:
When a hundred years ago psychology started to quantify its findings, it won its respect and an opportunity to integrate itself into the world of science – that is, as science was understood in those days. The quantitative approach is characteristic mostly for the psychometrics, which has become almost a complete synonym of psychodiagnostics in the light of positivism; if that is not so, then it has become at least a prevalent direction in it. Even today, the positivist paradigm in psychology has a strong position; however, rather new and diverse (qualitative) views receive an increasing support. It is therefore appropriate to reflect on the role of mathematics in psychological knowledge, particularly in psychodiagnostics. The contribution critically evaluates the possibilities of mathematics in framing the theory on which the psychological test is based, in selecting the items, and in verification of psychometric characteristics of the test and in development of test standards. It demonstrates the usefulness of mathematical approaches, but also draws attention to their limits. Mathematics is unsubstitutable in psychodiagnostics; however, it has only an assistant role that cannot replace qualified psychological reasoning.

Abstract:
An original hypothesis for the detection of suicidal readiness has been proposed: the dissociation between low self-esteem of personal qualitiesand high level of claims in behavior exists in all types of suicides. The main point is that suicide occurs in a situation where environmental conditions are appear to be completely incompatible with a person’s self-esteem; preserving the personality then the protective adaptive response of the personality is accomplished in the most radical way – self-destruction. Therefore, to detect readiness for suicide, you can use the methods of experimental psychological (psychodiagnostic) research. These are methods of self-assessment of a situation, that is, a tests assessing one's own merits and determining the level of claims in behavior. Discrepancies in the performance of these tests will reflect the degree of readiness for suicide. Confirmation has been obtained through clinical and experimental psychological research. On the material of 240 subjects, the modified methods of Dembo – Rubinstein and Hoppe were used. The main group consisted of 160 persons who committed suicidal attempts, of which 98 women and 62 men, average age (41.0 ± 9.7) years, including 86 with depressive disorders, 46 with neurotic disorders and 28 mentally healthy. In the control group there were 80 healthy individuals who did not commit suicidal attempts, with identical gender balance, average age and social status. The modification of the methods was that the results were presented in quantitative terms in points. In the main group, the dissociation indicators between the high level of claims and low self-esteem according to the methods of Dembo – Rubinstein and F. Hoppe were 46.8 ± 4.6, and in the control group – 27.00 ± 5.24 (P < 0,001). The difference between dissociation in the main and control groups is very significant (P < 0,0005), a score of 40–45 points indicates a suicidal risk, and 50–55 and more confidently point to the upcoming suicide attempt. As a result, the hypothesis is confirmed and a valid method of predicting suicide or assessing the degree of its risk arises; the method is suitable for practical use.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is violations of the perception of oral and written speech presented during the instruction of the examinee and the presentation of stimuli of diagnostic techniques during the primary psychodiagnostics of candidates for service in the penal enforcement system and newly arrived convicts, suspects, accused, who lead to a decrease in the reliability of the psychodiagnostic information received about personal qualities and current psychoemotional state. The purpose of the study is to develop recommendations for the diagnosis of the quality of perception of oral and written speech in the framework of primary psychodiagnostics of candidates for service and newly arrived suspects, accused, convicted. Methods of theoretical and comparative analysis, generalization and systematization are used. The article presents the possible causes of the violations under consideration, systematizes the variants of their manifestations, provides recommendations on the organization and methodology of primary psychological diagnostics, which, subject to its further successful testing without the use of additional neuropsychological diagnostic techniques, reveals violations of oral and written speech perception and assesses the possibility of conducting reliable psychological diagnostics of personality traits and psycho-emotional states. The results of the study are intended for use by penitentiary psychologists, but can be used by psychologists-diagnosticians of any areas of practical activity. It is planned to further develop forms of diagnostic forms for conducting primary psychodiagnostics of service candidates and convicts, suspects, accused upon admission to institutions of the penitentiary system, testing and evaluation of their diagnostic capabilities.

Abstract:
The article revealed main stages of development and tasks of psychological research in orthopedic clinic - new, rapidly developing direction in domestic clinical psychology. It is shown that the methodology of psychological research at the initial stage was implementation of basic principles of psychological diagnosis in medicine - principles of in-depth individualized research aimed at revealing experiences and characteristics of patient in order to provide adequate psychological assistance and mobilize resources of individual and social environment to cope the disease. The second stage is associated with analysis of interaction of mechanisms of adjustment to disease and quality of life in this type of pathology. On the example of empirical psychodiagnostic study in 139 patients with bone tumors the influence of “profiles “ (clusters) of personality on basic parameters of quality of life was shown. The third stage of development of the methodology of psychological diagnosis is due to development of surgical technologies in this field of medicine, dramatically changing functionality of patients. Among other factors, the main tasks of psychological research in patients with pelvic bone tumors underwent endoprosthetics using additive technologies are presented, as well as in patients with spine tumors, underwent different types of surgical treatment - laminectomy and vertebroplasty (in Blokhin Cancer Research Center).

Abstract:
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a persistent pattern of neglect and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with non-functioning or non-development of a person. The following article focuses on identifying the criteria for a child psychodiagnostic assessment that presents traces of TDHA and the effectiveness of diagnostic tests undertaken during this assessment process. For this purpose, an experience report of a clinical case was made and held in a Psychology Clinic of a Faculty of the Interior of Minas Gerais. The child was directed to psychological care, for presenting behaviors such as low school performance, wandering during the performance of tasks, lack of persistence, difficulty in keeping focused, disorganization and excessive motor activities and then another psychodiagnostic assessment was done. This case study makes possible to confirm and accompany the psychodiagnostic process of the country presenting a characteristic of ADHD found in bibliographic research and confirmed non-clinical psychodiagnostics.

Abstract:
Psychological problem representation, a complex task, is underpinned by clinicians' inferential processes, processes which are not immune to bias and logical error. Problem representation influenced by faulty reasoning can have deleterious effects on treatment planning and consequently on treatment outcome. Using a think-aloud procedure, 32 clinical and counselling psychologists examined a case file of the initial interview. The following three variables thought to contribute to clinicians' conceptualization of clients' problems were investigated: (1) theoretical orientation, (2) level of experience, and (3) temporal order of client information. The reasoning processes of psychodynamically-oriented and behaviourally-oriented clinicians were studied. The existence of expertise in psychotherapy was examined. Comparison of hypothesis generation among novices and experts was made. The impact of the temporal order of client information on the inferential processes of clinicians was also investigated. Subjects processed one of two versions of the case file. Levels of theoretical orientation, experience, and temporal order were compared in order to determine (1) whether clinicians posit significantly more dispositional hypotheses than contextual hypotheses, (2) whether initial hypotheses of a dispositional or contextual nature are confirmed or disconfirmed, and (3) whether initial hypotheses of a dispositional or contextual nature are retained or rejected. Based on absolute numbers, psychodynamicists posited more contextual inferences than behaviourists. Novices confirmed more dispositional inferences than experts. Clinicians rarely disconfirmed or rejected their initial hypotheses. Behaviourists retained more dispositional inferences than psychodynamicists. The order of the case material significantly affected the types of hypotheses generated and the hypothesis-testing strategies utilized. No significant differences, however, were found in the proportion of dispositio

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to examine the assessment process in clinical psychology using an ecologically valid design. By capitalizing on the methodologies of cognitive science and adapting data analytic techniques borrowed from the medical decision-making literature, the clinical assessment behaviours of psychology undergraduate students, clinical psychology graduate students, and professional psychologists were compared.
The results demonstrate that professional psychologists took longest to develop their diagnostic formulations, divide their questioning evenly between close and open-ended questions, provide more information to the patient, provide diagnoses that are fully consistent with the clinical data, and demonstrate an increase in diagnostic accuracy using the MultiAxial Form (APA, 1994). Finally, extensive clinical experience affords clinicians with a greater degree of case comprehension that may impact the quality of treatment.
Graduate students in clinical psychology demonstrate the same degree of test familiarity as the psychologists, adhere to empirical recommendations by conducting comprehensive clinical interviews and asking about DSM-IV criteria during the clinical interview, evidence a reliance on open-ended questions during the clinical interview, and also show an increase in diagnostic accuracy using the MultiAxial Form (APA, 1994). There were no significant differences in accuracy rates between professional psychologists and graduate students; however, some graduate students included diagnoses that were inconsistent with the clinical data.
The undergraduate students tended to cover many of the same topics in the interview as the other groups; however, they did so by posing significantly more close-ended questions. Further, none of the undergraduate students provided an accurate diagnosis of the case. There were no differences in confidence ratings across levels of experience. A model of clinical assessment behaviour is proposed that can function as a framework for future studies.

Fine, Esther Karen. "An investigation of the psychoeducational assessment process : the influence of assessors' theoretical oritentation and previous experience on their interpretations of a students' case-file." Abstract:
The study investigated the reasoning processes used by psychoeducational assessors in interpreting a typical case-file. The methodology used was one adapted from studies of problem-solving skills in other domains. In the models of reasoning derived from these studies, expertise was associated with extensive use of causal reasoning and with a high level of integration between a selectively narrow body of information and the proposed solutions. It was hypothesised that the reasoning processes used by experienced psychoeducational assessors would show similar properties. In addition, it was hypothesised that experienced and trainee assessors could be differentiated by: (a) the degree of affinity shown to a theoretical orientation in psychology, (the degree of affinity shown by the experienced assessors being greater than that shown by the trainees), and (b) the numbers and types of inferences generated from case-file information. The influences of the referral information and subjects' preconceived notions of educational exceptionality on assessment were also considered.
Two groups of 12 subjects each participated in the study; experienced school psychologists (designated the experts), and trainees in psychoeducational assessment (designated the novices). Think-aloud protocols were obtained from the subjects as they interpreted the case-file. A scale for assessing relative preferences for theoretical orientations in psychology was administered to all subjects. Transcriptions of the think-aloud protocols were segmented and coded according to predetermined inference categories. The case-file text and subjects' coded protocols were used to set out formally representations of subjects' reasoning.
The experts and the novices were compared for adherence to theoretical orientation, the numbers and types of inferences generated, and the reasoning strategies employed. No differences were found between the two groups for the variables analysed. However, for some of the experts, but not for the novices, well-integrated reasoning was associated with adherence to initial theories about the case. Consistencies across both groups of subjects in the types of inferences made and the use of case-file information are suggestive of a case-specific approach to assessment. Assessors appear to emphasise a student's academic strengths and, at the same time, to attend to affective problems. Relatively little attention is paid to physiological factors. The variability in the data collected indicates that there are few criteria against which to gauge expertise in psychoeducational assessment. There was no indication that assessors test their diagnostic theories systematically. It is suggested that, in this domain, reasoning strategies of review and revision are desirable and that representational models of expertise should reflect these strategies.

Abstract:
The present study examined the influence personological variables have on therapists' style of conceptualising a hypothetical client's presenting problem. More specifically, the effects of clinical experience (novice vs. expert) and clinical affiliation (counseling psychologist vs. clinical psychologist) on therapists' style of conceptualizing a client's presenting problem was assessed. The emotional content of the therapists' verbal behaviour during a think-aloud diagnostic task, was analyzed. The Feeling Lexicon indexing procedure was used to assess the emotional content of therapists' discourse during the diagnostic task. Eighteen clinical psychologists and eighteen counselling psychologists were selected to fulfill the criteria for having either novice or expert clinical experience. The findings indicated that: (a) counseling psychologists verbalize more words that connote an emotional content than clinical psychologists and, (b) novice therapists express higher levels of emotionality than expert therapists. Implications for training and clinical practice are discussed.

Abstract:
The current research has for objective to question which would be the minimum conditions that could provide a reliable neuropsychological diagnosis as the basis for optimal treatment, in particular in the case of neurodegenerative cerebral disorders and diseases. In that sense, it questions its theoretical and practical framework supporting the assessment model we propose. The specificity of our methodology lays in the integration of different theoretical and methodological frameworks originating as well from cognitive as psychodynamical (or psychoanalytical) psychology. For that purpose, the theoretical part compiles a current knowledge on cognitive and of the psychodynamic psychology. It is an essay of theorising of our specific approach, extending what Lagache called the clinical psychology. The research establishes then the basis of a methodology that we call « neurodynamic » which is as quantitative and scientifically rigorous as it is qualitative. It could be the starting point for the standardization of specific cognitive tests. As a basic premise, we consider that the neuropsychological diagnosis which would not integrate those two theoretical and methodological frameworks into one, leading to a « neuro-dynamic » and « transitional » diagnosis, doesn’t acquire the minimum conditions of its reliability. We also asserted that the diagnosis must be « dynamical » in the sense of the impact of conscious and unconscious psychical processes. For those purposes, we have created a specific « neuro-dynamic » assessment model in a framework which considers the suffering subject in his global aspects (somatic, psychical and groupal) and in accordance with his cognitive and psychological rhythms (i. E. , the « neuro-dynamical » process). The test protocol is a specific set of tests that we called the « Initial Neuropsychological Evaluation ». If all those requirements which are modeled and theorized by our research are fulfilled, then we expect that an optimal and « sufficiently » correct diagnosis can be obtained, under the terms of what we call « neuro-dynamical diagnosis ». Using the quantitative and qualitative methods, we have verified our three principal hypotheses, with their under-hypothesis : - The « Initial Neuropsychological Evaluation » is an evaluation model that is sufficiently exhaustive and sufficiently complex in order to establish a reliable cognitive diagnosis. Main focus : verification of the reliability of the proposed evaluation model. - The reliability of the cognitive diagnosis is based on the choice of a scientifically rigorous methodology, the standardization of tests and the clinical expertise of the scientist-practitioner. Main focus : the adoption of a scientific methodology which is rigorous and multi-factorial. - The reliability of the diagnosis is based on the integration of the cognitive and the psychodynamic methodologies. Main focus : verification of the contribution of that methodology, named « neuro-dynamical ». From a meta-psychological perspective, we have tried to construct a fundamental model, simple but complex in the context of psychologist’s work which main focus is no more no less an appreciation of the psychic « functioning » only, be it cognitive or unconscious. The latter can be appreciated measured solely by the evaluation of the psychic « functions »

Abstract. The article analyzes the indicators of the professional and personal spheres of social workers who worked in the situation of a new risk factor – the risk of infection with coronavirus infection. Objective: to study resilience and its impact on performance, anxiety, and depression in a group of social workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: the study involved 38 social workers, all women, among whom psychodiagnostics of indicators of professional and personal spheres was carried out using standard methods. Results: the analysis of the indicators of the professional and personal sphere of social workers revealed, against the background of reduced working capacity, compliance with the test standards of the group's average values of resilience, its components. The group of individuals with subclinically pronounced values of anxiety and depression on the HADS scale differed in low values of resilience and its "control" component from workers with moderate values of these indicators, which was an indication for recommending appropriate psychotherapeutic assistance to them.

Abstract:
In modern conditions, innovative augmented reality technologies are actively developing, which are widespread in many areas of human activity. Introduction of advanced developments in the process of professional training of future specialists of socionomic professions in the conditions of adaptive training, contributes to the implementation of the principles of a personalized approach and increase the overall level of competitiveness. The relevant scientific article is devoted to the theoretical and empirical analysis result of conducting a psychodiagnostic study on an innovative computer complex HC-psychotest. of the features of the implementation of augmented reality technologies in the construct of traditional psychological and pedagogical support aimed at the development of emotional intelligence of the future specialist. The interdisciplinary approach was used while carrying out the research work at the expense of the general fund of the state budget: “Adaptive system for individualization and personalization of professional training of future specialists in the conditions of blended learning”. A comprehensive study of the implementation of traditional psychological-pedagogical and innovative augmented reality technologies was conducted in the framework of scientific cooperation of STEAM-Laboratory, Laboratory of Psychophysiological Research and Laboratory of Psychology of Health in Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University. The theoretical analysis considers the structural model of emotional intelligence of the future specialist of socionomic professions, which is represented by two structural components: intrapersonal construct of emotional intelligence and interpersonal construct of emotional intelligence. Each component mediates the inherent emotional intelligence of interpretive, regulatory, adaptive, stress-protective and activating functions. The algorithm of the empirical block of research is presented by two stages: ascertaining and forming research. According to the results of the statement, low indicators were found on most scales, reflecting the general level of emotional intelligence development of future specialists, actualizing the need to find and implement effective measures for the development of emotional intelligence components in modern higher education and taking into account information development and digitalization. As part of the formative stage of the research implementation, a comprehensive program “Development of emotional intelligence of future professionals” was tested, which integrated traditional psychological and pedagogical technologies and innovative augmented reality technologies. This program is designed for 24 hours, 6 thematic classes of 4 hours. According to the results of a comprehensive ascertaining and shaping research, the effectiveness of the influence of augmented reality technologies on the general index of emotional intelligence is proved. The step-by-step model of integration of augmented reality components influencing the ability to analyze, understand and regulate emotional states into a complex program of emotional intelligence development is demonstrated. According to the results of the formative study, there is a dominance of high indicators of the following components: intrapersonal (50%), interpersonal (53.3%). Thus, we can say that intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional intelligence together involve the actualization of various cognitive processes and skills, and are related to each other. Empirical data were obtained as a
