Abstract:
Adolescence is a period of profound physiological and psychological transformations. It is a life stage in which the adolescent is greatly influenced by the stresses that they encounter. Adolescence is a difficult stage of life in which every individual's experience changes physically, psychologically, and emotionally. Resilience is a popular concept that focuses on research that exerts influences in several fields, particularly psychology. "Resilience is a process, capacity, or outcome of successful adaptation despite challenges or threatening circumstances" and "good outcomes despite high-risk status, sustained competence under threat, and recovery from trauma." Psychological well-being is usually defined as the extent to which people live up to their full potential. Resilience is considered a significant component in promoting and sustaining adolescents' psychological well-being. The aim of the paper is to provide an outlook on resilience and how it acts on adolescents' psychological well-being. The author reviewed several articles related to adolescent's resilience and psychological well-being and found that when an adolescent becomes resilient, he is capable of successfully overcoming obstacles and focusing on achieving goals, which can improve their ability to deal with stress and trauma more effectively, and resilience negatively affects mental ill-being, such as depression, anxiety, and negative emotions. It is concluded that an adolescent with the ability to bounce back from adversities will definitely have strong psychological well-being.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the academic hardiness of new students and use a model that integrates transformational coping, social support, and psychological well-being. As individuals undergoing a period of educational transition, new students need to adapt to the requirements and academic tasks that are different from schooling and insist on them to demonstrate their strong persistence personalities and develop their psychological well-being. This study uses a non-experimental cross-sectional research design. A total of 237 participants filled out the academic hardiness, skills, and psychological well-being questionnaire, and the data were analyzed with SEM version 8.80. The test results show that academic hardiness plays a direct role in developing participant's psychological well-being. Even though academic hardiness plays a role in developing transformational coping and social support skills, both skills do not play a role in fostering psychological well-being. These results indicate that commitment - control - and challenges that reveal participants' ability to adapt to the new academic demands can improve their individual ability to demonstrate their fully functioning self or fully functioning person in completing academic demands and tolerating pressures. However, a similar role does not find transformational coping skills and social support skills as the product of academic hardiness. The skill level does not determine the development of the participant's psychological well-being.

Abstract:
Psychological well-being is widely recognized an essential component of human life. Numerous studies have looked at the significance of teachers’ well-being for effective professional activity and self-efficacy. However, little is known about how a teacher’s personal and professional characteristics influence their psychological well-being. The purpose of this study was to explore possible determinants of teachers’ psychological well-being, such as professional activity motivation, personal orientation, thinking style, terminological competence, and reflection. A total of 224 secondary school teachers from the Arkhangelsk area took part in the study. Ryff’s Scales of Psychological Well-being (SPWB) were used to assess the level of well-being. The teachers are found to have a moderate level of psychological well-being. It has shown that professional activity motivation has the most important role. Inner motives such as cognitive motives, activity motives, and self-realization goals promote psychological well-being, while external incentives such as communication and confession decrease it. The differences in professional and personal characteristics between teachers with various levels of psychological well-being were identified. Teachers with low levels of psychological well-being reported a greater importance for social approval. However, for those with the highest psychological well-being scores, it is more important to pursue professional development.

Abstract:
Background: Research has consistently reported gender differences in mental health, but studies on differences in psychological well-being between women and men have not yielded conclusive results. The aim of this study was to examine the relevance of gender to the psychological well-being of adult individuals. A cross-sectional study with a sample of 1700 men and 1700 women from the general Spanish population was conducted. Their ages ranged from 21 to 64 years, and they were assessed with Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scales and the Bem Sex Role Inventory. Results: Men scored higher than women in self-acceptance and autonomy, and women scored higher than men in personal growth and positive relations with others. The most relevant variable in the psychological well-being of both women and men was high masculinity. Other relevant variables in women’s well-being were high femininity, not having a manual occupation, not being homemakers, and professional occupation. Men´s well-being also was higher in professional men and in men with a skilled non-manual occupation, men with high femininity and men who were not single, divorced or widowed. Conclusions: Adherence to traditional gender roles is relevant to the psychological well-being of women and men, and women and men whose self-concept includes both masculine-instrumental and feminine-expressive characteristics have greater well-being.

Abstract:
In recent years, social scientists have noted a link between religiosity and many standards of physical and psychological well-being. The possibility that religiosity is linked to health and psychological well-being has attracted attention. Many researches indicate that people who are highly engaged in religious pursuits (e.g. those who frequently attend religious services) or who report that religion is a central aspect of their lives tend to have slightly higher psychological well being, slightly depressive symptoms, and slightly longer lives than their less religious counterparts.

Abstract:
There are theoretical foundations in sociology for two seemingly incompatible positions: (1) children should have a strong negative impact on the psychological well-being of parents and (2) children should have a strong positive impact on the psychological well-being of parents. Most empirical analyses yield only a modest relationship between parenthood and psychological well-being. Usually, but not always, it is negative. In this study we consider the relationship between parental status and several dimensions of psychological well-being. Our analysis is based on data from a large national survey. It suggests that children have positive and negative effects on the psychological well-being of parents. The balance of positive and negative effects associated with parenthood depends on residential status of the child, age of youngest child, marital status of the parent, and the particular dimension of psychological well-being examined. When compared with nonparents, parents with children in the home have low levels of affective well-being and satisfaction, and high levels of life-meaning; parents with adult children living away from home have high levels of affective well-being, satisfaction, and life-meaning. The widowed appear to benefit most from parenthood and the divorced appear to experience the greatest costs.

Abstract:
In the present study, we examined the centrality of work in midlife adults and how it relates to their psychological well-being. Using the psychology of working theory (PWT), we tested a portion of the outcome of PWT in a sample of 1,888 midlife adults, finding good overall model data fit. Of the three needs work provides, survival, relatedness, and self-determination were each found to explain unique predictive variance. This suggests that adults who are most psychologically healthy have their survival needs met through their work, feel connected with people at work, and meet their self-determination needs through the experience of being engaged in activities at work. Implications of these findings for future research and career counseling are considered.

Abstract:
The way people perceive contact with nature may impact their environmental attitudes and psychological well-being (WB). Nature relatedness (NR) refers to the affective, cognitive, and experiential aspects of individuals’ connection to nature. The aim of the presented research concentrates on the assessment of the relationship between well-being, self-control and connectedness with the natural environment. The data was collected via online questionnaire between March and April 2022. In the study, we combined descriptive statistics with analysis of variance. We also quantitatively assessed correlations between major components of NR scale and psychological WB across men’ and women’ inquires. The results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the general index of NR and overall psychological WB. Furthermore, correlation between specific aspects of NR and WB subscales were also observed. These interactions are considerable among both men and women. We have also identified a major correlation between NR and self-control, which indicates the link between the way a person approaches oneself and natural environment. Finally, the analysis provides evidence that women are on average more related to nature, although the men may benefit more from this kind of relationship. Further gender differences could be observed in terms of nature-relatedness perspective component, general self-control, score and overall NR score These relationships are highly vital among men while irrelevant among women.
