This theoretical-empirical thesis discusses an issue of burnout among members of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech republic. The focus of theoretical part is given to the burnout syndrome, it's definition, risk factors, possible causes, it's gradual phases and diagnostic and measuring methods of the burnout syndrome. Further, the theses deals with possibilities of treatment of a burnout and preventive actions that could be taken on both sites of each employee and the organization. This is followed by a closer acquaintance of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech republic, it's history, mission and basic competences. Afterwards, a profession of professional firefighter is described. Possible causes and preventive measures against the burnout syndrome at the Fire Brigade are examined. In the empirical part of this thesis the burnout syndrome among members of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech republic is investigated through questionnaires and personal interviews. At this point the thesis focuses on outbound firefighters and operational technicians with the aim to detect possible differences in incidences between those two groups and possible causes of the burnout syndrome among them. Further the aim is to assess the efficiency of the Psychological Services of the Fire Brigade and its preventive measures taken against work-related stress and burnout.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the stress factors and burnout, particularly in ambulance firefighters. In the theoretical section provides basic information on the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, the specifics of their work and are also given information regarding stress, posttraumatic stress disorder , burnout and psychological services to the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. This is complemented by the findings of other states. The practical part is focused on the processing and evaluation of a questionnaire survey to map the most important factors of stress and burnout among staff of the Fire Rescue Corps of the Karlovy Vary Region and the Central Region.

1 Abstrakt: This thesis has focused on customer satisfaction. Mainly there are described the attributes that significantly influence the satisfaction. The research is based on service quality of mobile phone operators in Czech Republic. The first part describes the relevant theories in psychology field about satisfaction in different context - life satisfaction, job satisfaction and mainly customer satisfaction. There is mentioned the problem with definition inconsistency among authors and then is provided details about service quality theories and customer satisfaction attributes categorization. Finally there is chapter that concerns about the difference between derived and stated importance of attributes. The research object are the customers that use mobile phone services from three main operators in Czech Republic. The output is derived importance of the attributes which is calculated by multiply regression.

My work deals with difficulties that can arise when firemen supply psychological first aid to victims in emergency situations. The theoretical part is divided into three sections, issues firemen face during procedures, supplying psychological first aid and communication. Furthermore, I discuss issues concerning stress, listening, influencing, specific communication regarding emergency situations and communication with the physically disabled. The practical part contains the results of questionnaires aimed at obtaining the knowledge and opinions of firemen dealing with psychological first aid to emergency victims. My conclusion submits proposals about learning methods for firemen dealing with psychological first aid.

The thesis presents the educational and psychological profiling of the juvenile delinquent. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the juvenile delinquency, its specifics and developmental trends in this field. Next, it deals with the description of the juvenile's profiling from the perspective of the developmental psychology and then with the explanation where juvenile delinquency stems from. The empirical part deals with the results of the qualitative research collected in the center of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic. The research is realized by the combination of three methods - the content analysis of documents, the semi structured interview and Tarter questionnaire in order to get anamnestic data about chosen clients of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic and to find out the most hazardous areas of their lifes.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to chart the experience of family coexistence with a professional fire fighter. This diploma thesis consists of the information about profession of firefighting, possible risks associated with it, potential impact of this profession on family coexistence, the frequent specific themes that arose and coping strategies of fire fighter spouses. The study has a qualitative explorative design, semi-structured interviews with fire fighter spouses are conducted. A thematic analysis is used to analyse the data. The analysis identified several main themes in the data related to the family coexistence with the professional fire fighter, coping strategies of fire fighter spouses, the psychological service and the needs arose from the fire fighter spouses. PhDr. Miloš Kučera, CSc. ABSTRACT: The thesis is dealing with a psychological approach to the work with families and their children at a shelter using analytical techniques. It describes the circumstances and conditions for the work in the specific socio-therapeutic environment of The Horní Počernice Shelter Home. The target group with its demographic and status characteristics is depicted in detail with focus on reasons and expectations clients have when they come to the shelter home. The paper presents a functioning concept of psychological work with all clients and results of that work. It also reveals client evaluations of shelter housing after their initial adaptation. The selected case studies show work with motivated clients where changes in client behaviour as well as changes in their intrapsychic level can be noted. The paper compares different approaches of assisting professions in the shelter home, concentrating on the position of psychological and therapeutic work in social services. Supported Employment is one of the main tools of active labour market policies for the people who are disadvantaged or with disabilities. It aims to aid people are disadvantaged when finding employment themselves, provides assistance when looking for and choosing the right employment and with preparations for its execution, facilitation of the first contact with employer and colleagues, and ongoing support not only to the person with disability, but also to his colleagues and superiors who will be in contact with him. The thesis focuses on the issue of supported employment and its relation to diversity management, which covers the topic of management of employing the minorities and disadvantaged groups. From this perspective the thesis discusses the attitudes and prejudices, that often pose a barier to supported employment and effective interaction of people with disabilities and without. This thesis aims to introduce the basic problems of social status and internet consulting services to the reader. Here the service is seen in the ethical and psychological context because an internet counselor cannot do without these points of view when he tries to provide a customer service in the highest possible quality. I focus on the e-mail form of providing online advice as it is the most commonly used type of e-communication between a client and an advisor. Psychological and ethical determinants of the whole process are complementary, intersect, there are no single boundaries between them, whether from the point of view of ethics they are values on which to build human rights or the Code of Ethics for social workers, hence iKodex valid for social services in the online environment or from psychology perspective it is a virtual communication process between a counselor and a client, in which the art of communication, the changing identity of a man, manifested aggression, transference and countertransference and the actual on-line environment play role. Quality standards of Helpline Arkáda The changes brought about by the Social Services Act apply to all social services. Quality standards have been made into mandatory conditions the providers for social service must comply with. The chief mission of the standards to ensure that service provisions respect and protect the rights of both the service beneficiaries {--} users and those who provide it {--} staff. The changes also involve the inspections of social service quality, which uses the very standards as a measure of quality of the service concerned. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the mission of social work in the context of the Social Services Act and acts laying down the position of social workers that were changed after 1989. The objective of the present thesis is to compile the Arkáda Help Line Quality Standard document meeting the requirements of the Social Services Act and at the same time will reflect the given conditions applying to the very service. Up till now, the quality standards for the service concerned were no available in paper format. Specific documents had only been drafted and used with other information having been disseminated orally with no system in place. The practical part of the paper involves description of specific standards applied to the Arkáda Help Line as foreseen under research and the Social Services. The part describes the aims and methods of providing the social service, the methods of providing for the protection of rights, rules applying to talks between parties interested in the social service, individual agenda of the service provision and the method of handling documentation on the service provision. Moreover, the procedure applying to filing and settling complaints for quality and method of provision of social services is described. The paper further pays attention to the issue of linking the services provided to other available resources. Personal and organisational coverage of the social service and professional development of the staff are further quality indicators and must be incorporated within the standards. Yet another part describes availability of the social services provided in terms of locations and times, access to information on the social service provided and the conditions under which the service is provided. As the staff must be familiar with the possibility of emergency situations, the paper includes a chapter on emergency situations and rules that must be respected if the above is the case. Improving quality of the service is included in conclusion. The present document shall serve as the basis for quality standards for the Arkáda Help Line. It shall be further developed ad used under a paper on the Arkáda Help Line.

Options and application pastoral theology in posttraumatic team HZS CR. The thesis is divided into three sections. The first section dedicates to the process of developing psychological service in selected components of integrated rescue systém and the formation and other developing of teams who have to provide psychological assistance during some extraordinary events. It also pays attention to the theoretical cognition of stress problems, traumas and posttraumatic disorders. The significant chapter is the part that is concerned with communication which is the main resource while providing help. The second section dedicates to the practical theology, its origin and gradual development in Central Europe. They are listed two main concepts of developing the practical theology which are important for understanding next formation and the possibility of using practical theology in interdisciplinary activities. Analysis of the constitutive elements of the Church is the mainstay. Main attention is paid to diakonia and linking charitable service of the Church. The third and also closing part includes the practical verification findings via questionnaire. The results and comments gained thanks to questionnaire as well with theoretical knowledge and practice of professional life enable the final evaluation of the whole work. This file is supposted to help while seeking the answer on original question of possibility of cooperation and using already mentioned disciplines while providing help.

Post-crisis intervention care in situations of danger in the Police of the Czech Republic. The topic of this diploma thesis consists in taking a deeper view into post-crisis intervention care in the Czech Police. The primary goal of the diploma thesis is to verify whether in the Czech Police a functional system of post-crisis intervention care is created that policemen or also their families can use if necessary. Further, we were interested whether there are opinions, attitudes and prejudice among policemen concerning the use of post-crisis intervention care. Therefore, in the theoretical part the diploma thesis deals with basic psychological terms that are closely related to the field of post-traumatic care in the Czech Police and summarizes issues of psychological care in the Czech Police. The entire object of the research is mapping the current situation of providing post-crisis care to policemen, the degree of awareness of this service, attitudes of policemen to using this service and last, but not least, purposefulness and efficiency of this service. An integral part of the goal of the work was an analysis of factors that facilitate or complicate the process of providing post-crisis care and suggestion of possible measures to make its functioning more efficient as well as finding main causes of insufficient utilisation of post-crisis intervention care by policemen. In compliance with the goal of the thesis a quantitative survey was carried out and the most suitable methods were used in such a way that the specified goal could be achieved in the most efficient way. The results of the survey carried out by us have confirmed that in the Czech Police a functioning system of post-crisis intervention care is created that policemen can use if necessary. The survey has also indicated that policemen are sufficiently informed about the system of post-crisis intervention care and that this system corresponds to the needs of police practice. However, the survey has also revealed that negative opinions, attitudes and prejudice concerning the psychological service of the Czech Police persist in policemen's minds. Reducing these negative tendencies would certainly contribute to more efficient utilisation of this service.

The work titled "Rank of caring persons in the context of the social services law" analyses the situation of caring persons during the care. The work follows the question of discrimination and social-economic exclusion of caring persons in the Czech Republic on the basis of executed research analyse. The rank of caring persons is not legally embedded in any legal regulation. However, this results into the fact, that there is neither range of duties nor the law or social benefits in the case of sickness, and the old age pension scheme is very limited, too. This work brings suggestions of measures and solutions of these problems so that family and intergeneration solidarity and rules of subsidiarity would be supported, and at the same time the social and economic discrimination of caring persons in the Czech Republic.
